Marco Rubio Praises Trump When Asked What It’s Like to Work With Him
During the Republican primary, President Donald Trump and his fellow Republican candidates really went at it. There were a lot of vicious (and quite frankly, unnecessary) personal attacks on all sides, and the debates turned nasty on more than one occasion.
While some Republicans have been reluctant to come over to Trump’s side in the aftermath of that, even though Trump is now president, several of Trump’s former competitors have gotten on board the Trump train, like Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.
Rubio and Trump had a deeply contentious relationship during the primary. Rubio called Trump a con artist, and Trump had similarly derogatory remarks for Rubio. However, in an interview this week with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, Rubio made it clear that all that is water under the bridge, stating that “Trump’s success is America’s success.”
“Why the change from your standpoint?” Bartiromo asked Rubio. “Has President Trump done something beyond this that has changed your relationship with him?”
“Why the change from your standpoint?” Bartiromo asked Rubio. “Has President Trump done something beyond this that has changed your relationship with him?”
Rubio all but dismissed the question.
“I just think this whole relationship thing is overblown,” he said. “It’s like asking two boxers, ‘Are you mad that he punched you in the face in the ring and is he mad that you punched him back?’
“When you’re competitors you go at each other. When the race is over, the race is over,” he said.
For some time, it was unclear if Rubio would actually support Trump if he won the Republican nomination, but eventually he came around and agreed to support Trump over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, even as Trump supported Rubio in his successful run for re-election to the Senate in November.
Since Trump’s victory, Rubio has shown that he is willing to work with the administration to put the country’s needs over his own personal ambition.
“We ran against each other. He won the Republican nomination,” Rubio explained. “You don’t have to agree with the president of your party on every single issue to want him to succeed.”
Then Rubio gave was was arguably his greatest line of the interview:
“President Trump’s success is America’s success. It’s not his individual success. Of course I want the president to be successful,” Rubio concluded.
Rubio’s comment came right after Trump publicly announced his decision to reverse some of President Barack Obama’s actions to increase diplomatic relations between Cuba and the United States — an issue that is very personal to Rubio.
Trump and Rubio have really warmed up to each other over the past few months. While Rubio has his flaws, he is a still a bright Republican with an exciting future ahead of him. Working with Trump will guarantee his success in years to come.
Very Fake News: CNN Chief Jeff Zucker Takes Reins of Investigation into Retracted Russia Conspiracy Story
3
The “very fake news” scandal that is engulfing CNN inside and outside the left-wing network now reaches its highest levels as even CNN president Jeff Zucker is personally involved in the internal investigation into a now-retracted hit piece, sources inside CNN with direct knowledge confirmed to Breitbart News.
Meanwhile, Senate Democrats find themselves on the hot seat as insiders point to leftist staff for members like Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Kamala Harris (D-CA) as being responsible for the thinly-sourced hit piece. Staff for Harris deny any involvement, but Warren staff have not responded.
These new revelations come on the heels of a BuzzFeed News report citing internal sources at CNN calling the decision to print the “very fake news” hit piece on President Donald Trump and his associates that inaccurately alleged they were under Senate and Treasury investigation—a piece a Breitbart News investigation forced CNN to retract—a “massive, massive fuck up.” BuzzFeed’s Jon Passantino reported that CNN sources told him that Zucker is “directly involved” in the matter now, as is the head of HR at CNN, and that “people will be disciplined.”

“Deleting stories without explanation is considered a serious lapse of journalistic ethics,” Passantino and Jim Dalrymple wrote for BuzzFeed on Saturday. “Other outlets, including BuzzFeed, have faced considerable criticism and embarrassment for deleting content. And while CNN deleted its story, a cached version was still available online because nothing ever truly disappears on the internet.”
CNN has still not officially confirmed to anyone key details about what happened, despite being asked by both Breitbart News and BuzzFeed News, among others.
In addition to Breitbart News’ independent investigation that forced CNN’s retraction, sources close to Trump ally Anthony Scaramucci—one of the Trump associates targeted by CNN in the fake hit piece that inaccurately linked him to a Russian investment fund—confirm that he aggressively pushed back behind the scenes. Within hours of CNN posting the story Thursday evening, Scaramucci had assembled a legal, public relations, and rapid response team, the sources say, which terrified CNN since it knew the story was not solid.
Scaramucci has accepted CNN’s apology, taking the high road as the network withers under scrutiny. But he did tell Fox News’ Howard Kurtz, himself a former CNN anchor, that he was “disappointed” CNN ran the story in the first place since it was a “lie.”
Kurtz served as the anchor of CNN’s Reliable Sources program for more than a decade before he moved to Fox News, and his successor in the CNN show Brian Stelter has emerged as one of CNN’s most ardent defenders while Kurtz and other ex-CNN current Fox News reporters like Ed Henry regularly criticize CNN’s heavily anti-Trump bent.
On Kurtz’s Media Buzz Fox News program on Sunday morning, he and Henry bashed CNN’s chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta—an eventual successor of Henry, who once held that job—for whining that the White House has moved press briefings off television cameras. They said television personalities, especially attention seekers like CNN’s Acosta, seek to use on-camera briefings to advance their careers and get famous by picking fights with White House staff rather than as a tool for journalism.
Stelter, like Zucker, has found himself in the hot seat as this scandal engulfs CNN, a network President Trump has identified as pushing “very fake news.” Stelter has been unwilling for months to appear on Breitbart News radio on SiriusXM when asked if he would do so to publicly defend CNN, refusing yet again to appear on the program this weekend as this scandal consumes the network. While Stelter did tweet about the retraction on Saturday, he has not been aggressively reporting on CNN’s mistakes here–not mentioning it again since that original Tweet.

Stelter has also faced criticism for apparently downplaying the scandal on his media show on CNN:

Like Stelter, Zucker is currently not willing or able to publicly do interviews defending CNN’s conduct here. Network spokeswoman Emily Kuhn, who continues refusing to answer questions on the matter as a whole, will not provide Zucker for an interview on his role in the investigation when asked if he is courageous enough to defend CNN.
Most editorial staffers at CNN, inside sources say, are embarrassed at the way Zucker has handled himself here — and at the way the network has handled itself generally on this and related matters.
Kuhn similarly has refused to answer questions about which editor or editors were involved in the publication of the very fake news piece, and how many other people in the editorial process allowed this blatantly inaccurate piece that CNN was forced to retract to be published in the first place. It is also unclear what exact discipline is expected to be handed to down to everyone involved. As of this time, it appears reporter Thomas Frank—the one on the now-retracted very fake news piece byline—is still employed by CNN. Frank did eventually on Twitter post the link to the editor’s note about the retraction.

But this is hardly the only problem that Frank presents for the network. Frank’s Twitter account is loaded with leftist activism, not journalism, including political recommendations for the House Democratic conference should they decide to oust House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi has come under fire in the wake of Hollywood-backed Jon Ossoff’s failure to win in the special election in Georgia’s sixth congressional district. Despite record-breaking historic fundraising behind Ossoff—estimates expect the race between Ossoff and Republican Karen Handel will have cost nearly $50 million the majority of which was spent on Ossoff’s behalf, the most expensive House race in history—Handel defeated him. As a result, Pelosi has faced a revolt inside the House Democratic conference as several members including Reps. Seth Moulton (D-MA), Tim Ryan (D-OH) and Kathleen Rice (D-NY) question publicly whether she can continue to lead their party in the House.
CNN’s Frank, the reporter on the byline of this anti-Trump hit piece that has now been retracted, took time out of his Thursday—the day the piece was published—to tweet political advice to House Democrats if they remove Pelosi.
“If #Democrats replace #NancyPelosi they cannot pick a male speaker; horrible optics would enrage the female base and intellectual leaders,” Frank tweeted.
If #Democrats replace #NancyPelosi they cannot pick a male speaker; horrible optics would enrage the female base and intellectual leaders
Kuhn, CNN’s corporate spokeswoman, has not responded to multiple inquiries from Breitbart News on whether a CNN reporter providing this political advice via social media to the Democratic Party is acceptable editorial behavior.
What’s more, in addition to all of the above, a key part of the genesis of this very fake news piece is a leftist pipe dream that seemingly originated in the annals of the office of anti-Trump “Resistance” leader Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). The idea that Scaramucci and others would be investigated for “meeting” with executives for the Russian investment fund in question is something Warren and Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) pushed now-Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to look into before President Trump was inaugurated.
“The matter has been reviewed and determined to be without merit,” a senior Trump administration official told Breitbart News for the original investigation that prompted CNN’s retraction. In other words, Mnuchin looked into the allegations and found that there is nothing to it.
But now reports are surfacing that CNN’s sole source for the hit piece seems to have been a staffer for Warren who was apparently “egged on” by staff for Harris. Harris is a freshman Democrat Senator who has aligned herself with the Warren-led “resist” movement, using congressional hearings to increase her profile nationally by arguing with Trump administration officials. While Warren’s team is not responding, Harris’s office denies the reports.

Warren’s office has not responded to requests for comment on this matter. CNN’s Kuhn has not denied that Warren or Harris staff were involved in the publication of the hit piece the network has retracted. A spokeswoman for Harris, Lily Adams, when sent the above Tweet denied it. “I have never heard of this person but his accusation is 100% false,” Adams said in an email on Sunday, also adding in a follow-up that she is certain that nobody from Harris staff was involved. It is unclear how Adams would know for certain that nobody from Harris’s staff was involved in this matter, as her response came a little over two hours after Breitbart News’ original press request on Sunday morning–and it strains credulity that she was able to ask every single person on Harris’s staff in that timeframe if they had involvement in this matter.
Top Senator Made A Shocking Revelation About Trump And Russia
For months, intrigue has floated around Washington over Trump and Russia.
Is this really a scandal that threatens Trump’s Presidency?
One key Senator made a startling revelation that will change everything you think about this story.
Democratic Senator Chris Murphy was interviewed on MSNBC after Jon Ossoff’s defeat in the special election in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District.
Specifically, he was quizzed about the amount of time national Democrats devote to the Russia story as opposed to the concerns of everyday voters.
Murphy’s answer was not what you would expect.
He admitted the Russia scandal has become a distraction.
The Daily Caller reports:
“Democrats’ focus on potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government has been a “distraction” for the party, Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy said Wednesday.
“When I am back in Connecticut, I often get on a commuter bus and ride it for just an hour to talk to folks that, frankly, don’t normally call or write my office, and I’ll just say, they are never talking about issues like Russia. They are not talking, frankly, what’s on cable news at night,” Murphy said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
Murphy and the “Morning Joe” panel were discussing Tuesday’s special election in Georgia’s 6th district in which Democrat Jon Ossoff lost to Republican Karen Handel.
Democrats had high hopes for the race, and spent heavily on the contest. The party’s loss makes them 0 for 4 in special elections held to replace Trump administration appointees.
“The fact that we have spent so much time talking about Russia has been a distraction from what should be the clear contrast between Democrats and the Trump agenda, which is on economics,” Murphy said Wednesday.”
How can that be?
The Democrats have claimed for months that Russia engaged in a cyber Pearl Harbor during the election.
And key figures like California Representative Adam Schiff – the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee – has repeatedly stoked the base by claiming evidence of collusion may yet exist.
If Democrats truly believe Trump stole the election, how can they admit this is a distraction?
The answer is simple.
The Russia story was always fake news to begin with.
Democrats and the media who pursued the collusion angle only did so to inflict political damage on the Trump administration and fire up Democrat voters.
But their strategy has failed.
Democrats have lost all four contested special elections.
Republican enthusiasm has matched that of the Democrats in the GOP.
The Russia story has been a dud on every front.
It’s a hoax.
It hasn’t depressed GOP voter turnout.
And it hasn’t produced any electoral gains.
So it’s no wonder top Democrats are admitting the truth about this fake news story.
Lowe’s, Wells Fargo Outsourcing Americans’ Jobs to Cheap Foreign Workers
AP File Photo/Charles Krupa
Despite an American electorate fed up with the outsourcing of American jobs, corporations and tech firms are continuing to send once high-paying work overseas.
In a recent report by the Charlotte Observer, a staffing executive with TalentBridge admitted that the outsourcing of American jobs continues because companies profit from hiring foreign workers who are paid slave wages.
“You can hire a programmer in Charlotte for $60,000 to 80,000 a year, or you go to India and get the same quality of service for $60 a month,” Brady Teague told the Charlotte Observer. “Where are you going to put the person?”
That sentiment is echoed by nonstop offshoring of American jobs, despite President Trump’s victory last year on a national populist message that slammed outsourcing and foreign guest worker programs, like the H-1B visa and L-1 visa.
The most recent cases involve Lowe’s and Wells Fargo, who are firing their American employees and replacing them with cheaper, foreign workers.
Roughly 125 tech jobs at Lowe’s are being shipped off to Bangalore, India. This came just months after Lowe’s outsourced 96 corporate IT jobs to India.
At Wells Fargo, CFO John Shrewsberry announced that jobs at the company would eventually be outsourced to foreign countries. Wells Fargo, though, has yet to specify how many Americans would be laid-off because of the move.
Likewise, as Breitbart Texas reported, U.S. fashion design house Ralph Lauren recently laid off hundreds of American workers and shipped their jobs to India. Three of those workers said in a petition to the Department of Labor that their jobs were stripped from them due to free trade policies and outsourcing by the company.
“Roles and assignments have been slowly but increasingly transferred to India,” the fired Americans said.
Carnival Corporation has also not backed away from their alleged outsourcing scheme, despite negative media coverage. As Breitbart Texas exclusively reported, potentially hundreds of Americans may allegedly be laid-off by Carnival and see their job sent to either India or Eastern Europe.
Carnival Corporation teamed up with Capgemini, a French outsourcing firm, to allegedly layoff American IT workers remaining at the company who had yet to be replaced by cheaper, foreign workers.
Trump’s largest achievement to remedy outsourcing of American jobs has been terminating the U.S.’s involvement in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal, which would have resulted in more native jobs being sent overseas.
The President also mentioned reforming the H-1B visa, implementing a merit-based immigration system, and renegotiating North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). All in an effort to save American jobs and get more Americans back to work.
Chuckie Schumer Just Got Some Really Bad News
Chuck Schumer has a plan to seize power.
He is plotting to ascend to Senate Majority Leader and make life miserable for Donald Trump.
But he may be about to get some very bad news.
Currently, the GOP holds a 52-48 seat majority.
And in the 2018 midterms, 10 Democrats are up for reelection in states that Donald Trump won by double digits.
One of those Democrats is North Dakota’s Heidi Heitkamp.
She won a surprising victory in 2012, but now must run for re-election in a state where Trump crushed Hillary Clinton by 36 points.
Politico is reporting that Heitkamp is mulling over her future and could retire:
HEIDI HEITKAMP STILL REMEMBERS THE FIRST TIME SHE LED THE SENATE IN THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AFTER HER SURPRISING WIN IN 2012; HOW HARD IT WAS TO GET THE WORDS OUT.
“I CAN’T GET THROUGH IT BECAUSE I’M TOO EMOTIONAL,” SHE RECALLS TO DOZENS OF GANGLY TEENAGERS GRADUATING FROM THE AMERICAN LEGION’S BOYS STATE PROGRAM. “HOW COULD A MIDDLE-AGED, KIND OF A CHUBBY WOMAN, BE STANDING IN THE UNITED STATES SENATE?”
THE 61-YEAR-OLD HEITKAMP SURVIVED A BRUTAL BOUT WITH CANCER AMID A FAILED 2000 CAMPAIGN FOR GOVERNOR, THEN RAN FOR THE SENATE 12 YEARS LATER IN A REPUBLICAN-DOMINATED STATE. AND NOW SHE IS STARING DOWN AN EXCEEDINGLY DIFFICULT RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN IN A STATE WHERE PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP IS BELOVED.
THOUGH EVERY DEMOCRAT FROM THE OIL PATCH IN WILLISTON TO BUSTLING FARGO IS BANKING ON HEITKAMP RUNNING, WINNING AND REVIVING THE PARTY IN THIS STATE, THE PLAIN-SPOKEN, STRIDENTLY MODERATE DEMOCRATIC SENATOR IS MONTHS AWAY FROM MAKING IT OFFICIAL. THAT’S IN PART BECAUSE SHE’D FAR RATHER GOVERN THAN SPEND 15 MONTHS TALKING ABOUT HER CAMPAIGN. BUT SHE SAYS SHE’S ALSO UNDECIDED.
“THERE’S DAYS I HAVE DOUBTS … I MEAN THIS IS A HARD LIFE. ACTUALLY, THE HAPPIEST I AM IS ON DAYS LIKE TODAY,” SHE SAYS ON A SPARKLING JUNE DAY AS SHE CRISSCROSSES THE STATE’S SOUTHEASTERN CORNER. “YOU KNOW, I HAVEN’T MADE UP MY MIND.”
If Heitkamp opts not to run, that would make the GOP heavy favorites to pick up that seat.
Given that the map is so tilted against Democrats, they cannot afford to lose any seats.
Complicating matters are the results of the special elections.
Chuck Schumer believed the media hype that voters were furious with Trump and ready to send a message to him by firing Congressional Republicans.
But Republicans won all four contested special elections.
That showed the GOP base is as fired up, if not more so, as Democrats.
That’s great news for conservatives.
With so many Democrats running in red states, the GOP has a chance to expand their majority.
It’s great news for Trump supporters who want to see the “Make America Great Again” agenda put into action.
But it’s bad news for Chuck Schumer and the rest of the left.
Democrats’ Rhetoric May Actually Be Endangering Lives
Even before the election of President Donald Trump, the Democratic Party has been bullying nearly every public figure to the right of Hugo Chavez.
While Hillary Clinton rolled her eyes and tried to take the focus off questions of her own trustworthiness, she laid fodder for the uproar that came when conservatives won the vote. Indeed, even during her concession speech, Clinton urged a fight for “what’s right,” implying that President Trump winning the election was wrong.
She implored, “And to the young people in particular, I hope you will hear this…This loss hurts, but please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it. And so we need — we need you to keep up these fights now and for the rest of your lives.”
Since then, Clinton supporting, Democratic media outlets like CNN have been relentless in filling their headlines daily with antagonistic slurs against the president – skewing every move he makes, and everything he says into something either nefarious, ignorant or uptight. It’s bullying in the public arena, and yet it’s never been called out.
Insults, baseless accusations and finger-pointing have become the order of the day, all because the liberal candidate lost. In a nation with two major political parties, one side will always be the “loser.” But in this instance, the insidious rhetoric of the Democratic Party has become so hateful that it is now endangering lives.
In fact, it’s not a stretch to say that the Democratic Party is bordering on the crime of ‘incite to riot’ with its incessant aggressive discourse against our elected president and his constituents.
The recent shooting of GOP congressman, Steve Scalise, has brought this situation in stark reality. During a Republican’s baseball game practice, Congressman Scalise was the target of a deranged gunman who was angry about President Trump.
“Hodgkinson, who had been living in his van in Alexandria for the past few months, had posted anti-Trump rhetoric on his Facebook page and had written letters to his hometown newspaper blaming Republicans for what he considered an agenda favoring the wealthy.”
In the shootout, Steve Scalise was critically injured, as well as four other innocent people. Scalise is still hospitalized, and has only recently been upgraded from a condition of critical to serious. It remains to be seen whether he will survive this senseless attack based on guileful remarks from the Democratic Party and liberal media.
The hateful attitude toward Republicans that has culminated (so far) in a shooting that targeted a husband and father was preceded by a series of increasingly hostile acts toward Republicans and conservatism.
In a May 2017 town hall meeting, Republican Raul Labrador was booed when he stated his opinion about health care. Granted, town hall booing is not new. But this is not an isolated event where conservatives have been silenced and threatened since Clinton called for “fighting.”
This phenomenon has also affected conservatives in the private sector. Would-be speaker Ann Coulter pulled out of her speech at Berkeley citing fears for her safety after riots, and threats against her conservative viewpoints were allowed to happen without authoritative intervention. Trump supporters have been increasingly under physical assault from liberal idealists fueled by Democratic rhetoric.
There is no doubt many conservatives were dismayed at the first and second election of Barack Obama. But the difference between being disappointed and actively seeking to undermine every single effort to achieve national unification stands in stark contrast when recent events against conservatives are considered.
It seems that liberals are taking Clinton’s call to arms literally when an innocuous baseball game on a Wednesday morning turned into a crime scene, thanks to a radicalized Bernie Sanders supporter.
Ongoing bullying by talk show hosts eager for ratings, by the liberal media like CNN and Fox, and even by elected officials in the Democratic Party has led to an onslaught of mounting aggression against President Trump, his family and supporters.
If this country is ever going to be unified, this aggression must end. Thankfully, people like Michelle Malkin are finally speaking out about the “hate-filled” rhetoric of these “clowns” on late night talk shows. But if we are ever to put an end to the spewing of insults and incite to riot, the whole country must come together.

Bernie Busted! Sanders and Wife Lawyer Up In Bank Fraud Case
By Andrew West
While Bernie Sanders played up his fictional financial prowess to woo malleable millennials during the 2016 presidential primary, it turns out that the democratic socialist has more than slightly overstated his checkbook skill set.
In the weeks following his capitulatory concession to doomed candidate Hillary Clinton, Sanders came under fire for reports that insinuated he took a massive bribe to give Clinton a wide berth. Shortly afterward, in a poorly timed transaction, Bernie plunked down a small fortune on a lake house for he and his wife, Jane, who was also stewing in her own brand of financial folly.
Jane Sanders’ troubles began with accusations of bank fraud being levied in her general direction after accounting discrepancies were detected in her work with a local Vermont college. Now, these allegations are turning even uglier, with Bernie now forced to hire big shot lawyers to keep he and his embezzling bride out of the clink.
“Politico Magazine first reported the Sanders had hired lawyers to defend them in the probe. Sanders’ top adviser Jeff Weaver told CBS News the couple has sought legal protection over federal agents’ allegations from a January 2016 complaint accusing then-President of Burlington College, Ms. Sanders, of distorting donor levels in a 2010 loan application for $10 million from People’s United Bank to purchase 33 acres of land for the institution.
“According to Politico, prosecutors might also be looking into allegations that Sen. Sanders’ office inappropriately urged the bank to approve the loan.
“Burlington attorney and Sanders supporter Rich Cassidy has reportedly been hired to represent Sen. Sanders. And high-profile Washington defense attorney Larry Robbins, who counseled I. Lewis ‘Scooter’ Libby, former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, is protecting Jane Sanders.
“Ms. Sanders’ push for the liberal arts college’s costly land acquisition was cited in a press release by the college when it shut down in 2016.
“Brady Toensing of Burlington, the man responsible for the claims filed to the U.S. attorney for Vermont, was a chairman for the Trump campaign in his state.
“‘I filed a request for an investigation in January 2016 and an investigation appears to have been started right away,’ he said in an email to CBS News. ‘It was started under President Obama, his Attorney General, and his U.S. Attorney, all of whom are Democrats.’
“‘My only hope is for a fair, impartial, and thorough investigation,’ Toensing added.”
Democratic hypocrisy is nothing new, but the beautiful irony of this particular situation is too prominent to be ignored.
While many left-leaning young voters were too easily wooed by Sanders campaign promises of universal health care and income equality, the truth behind the socialist’s financial acumen could not have been more egregiously overstated. Now, as we anticipate the possibility of Jailbird Bernie taking this case all they way to the end, we must wonder if the democratic party will run further away from the Vermont Senator, or embrace his criminal wrongdoings in the same manner in which they fell in love with Hillary Clinton.
IBD: Trump Is Right, Illegals Cost Him in Popular Vote
Voter registration in Florida before the 2016 election...By Eric Mack
President Donald Trump's famous claim illegals voting against him cost him the popular vote has more support, despite the mainstream media claims it was merely a "Twitter-born conspiracy theory," according to an Investors Business Daily editorial this week.
In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally
3:30 PM - 27 Nov 2016
The editorial cited a study by Just Facts Daily, a libertarian think tank. A Harvard/you.Gov poll had as many as 5.7 million non-citizens saying they had cast votes in former President Barack Obama's first election, and that number was 3.6 million in 2012.
With 21 million American adults in the 2016 Census – up from 19.4 million in 2008, the start of the Obama administration – "it is therefore highly likely that millions of non-citizens cast votes in 2016," according to the study.
"Democrats had extensive get-out-the-vote campaigns in areas heavily populated by illegal aliens," according to the IBD editorial this week. "As far back as 2008, Obama made sure that those who wanted to vote knew it was safe, announcing that election records would not be cross-checked with immigration databases.
"And last year, the Obama White House supported a court injunction that kept Kansas, Alabama, and Georgia from requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. The message was sent, loud and clear: If you're a non-citizen or here illegally, don't be afraid. You're free to vote. No one will stop you."
The editorial concludes Democrats should be troubled by the notion every "non-citizen voter negates the vote of a citizen," and American needs to "stop encouraging non-citizens and illegal aliens to vote in our election."
