Watch: Video Shows Prototypes of the Border Wall
by BOB PRICE
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials announced plans to begin construction of border wall prototypes later this summer. The test projects will begin near San Diego, California.
CBP Acting Deputy Commissioner Ronald Vitiello said his agency will issue contracts to being building prototypes to between four and eight companies. The companies will each have 30 days to build their section, Fox News reported Tuesday.
Vendors began lining up to build prototype sections of the walls which will stretch along parts of the southwestern border between Mexico and the U.S., Breitbart Texas reported. Nearly 300 companies signed up for the bidding processing in the first few days.
Some companies expressed concerns about security both in dealing with protesters and drug cartels. “There will be a lot of different activity – protests, prayer vigils – on both sides of the wall,” Enrique Morones, executive director of Border Angels, an open border advocacy group, told the Daily Mail. “We pray and hope that they’re peaceful.”
Earlier this month, California Assemblyman Tim Donnelly wrote in Breitbart California that the Trump Administration was behind schedule.
“The border wall was the signature promise of Trump’s campaign and the most visible initiative of his presidency, yet has been allowed to fall behind schedule,” Donnelly stated.
Just a few days ago, the president tweeted that Mexico is one of the deadliest countries in the world and that “We will BUILD THE WALL!”
Mexico was just ranked the second deadliest country in the world, after only Syria. Drug trade is largely the cause. We will BUILD THE WALL!
President Trump also floated the idea that the sections might contain solar panels to produce electricity and reduce the cost, Breitbart News reported on June 7. “Think of it,” President Trump told supporters at an Iowa rally. “The higher it goes, the more valuable it is. Pretty good imagination, right?”
“The wall will be a great help, and it will happen; believe me,” the president told reporters.
Prototypes should be completed within 30 days of the issuance of the contracts from CBP.

McCaskill Admits Donation to Foundation Connected to Russian Ambassador
Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) admitted Tuesday that she, her husband, and their private family foundation donated a total of $1,000 to the American-Russian Cultural Cooperation Foundation, on whose board of directors Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak serves as honorary chairman.
“Kislyak’s meetings with current and former officials in the administration of President Donald Trump are one part of investigations into Russia’s influence on the 2016 American election by congressional committees and special counsel Robert Mueller,” the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported:
Referring to stories in March describing McCaskill appearing at events where Kislyak also attended after tweeting that she’d had no encounters with the Russian ambassador, Senate Leadership Fund spokesman Chris Pack said the revelations about the donor and dinner at the Russian embassy continued a “web of lies” that McCaskill has constructed around her encounters with Kislyak.
But McCaskill said she had not even talked to Kislyak at that 2015 dinner, that the donation was at the behest of friends of Symington, and that Republicans and Democrats for years had supported the organization.
“They’d better call George Bush and the list of all the Republicans that have been involved in this over all the years,” McCaskill said, pointing out that several current and past Republican senators have served as honorary heads of galas or other events of the foundation. She said the effort by opponents trying to make a campaign issue of the donation to the Russian-American cultural group “is just them trying to be nasty.”
Previously, McCaskill had claimed she had never met the Russian ambassador. In March, Breitbart News reported that “Claire McCaskill (D-Mo) sent out a misleading Tweet on Thursday claiming that she had never, ‘ever’ met or spoken with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, while previous Tweets showed she met and spoke to the Russian official in 2013 and again in 2015.”
“I’ve been on the Armed Services Committee for 10 years. No call or meeting with Russian ambassador. Ever. Ambassadors call members of the Foreign Res Com,” McCaskill tweeted on Thursday.
Almost immediately following her Tweet, McCaskill’s past Tweets contradicted her claim, including two retweeted by National Review Online Editor Charles C. W. Cooke showing a Tweet in 2013 and another in 2015 that said the senator spoke and met with Kislyak.
On Jan. 30, 2013 McCaskill tweeted “Off to meeting w/Russian Ambassador. Upset about the arbitrary/cruel decision to end all US adoptions, event those in process.”
On Aug. 6, 2015 McCaskill tweeted “Today calls with British, Russian and German Ambassadors re: Iran deal. #doingmyhomework.
Subsequently, McCaskill “admitted on Twitter that she and “many senators” had met with the ambassador four years ago to discuss the U.S. halt to adopting Russian children,”:
“Again, as a senior member of the Armed See, never received call or request from Russian Ambassador for meeting. Never met one-on-one w/him,” McCaskill tweeted.
When asked by Breitbart News why she claimed she had never met or spoken with the Russian ambassador when her Tweets showed otherwise, McCaskill’s communication director defended her by saying she had not met “one-on-one” with him. . .
“Claire has never met one-on-one with the ambassador, and never received a call from him,” LaBombard said. “She did attend a group meeting about adoptions with other senators, and had a brief proactive call with the ambassador amid calls to several other parties to the Iran nuclear deal.
“McCaskill on Tuesday detailed the activities of the foundation she and her husband, Joseph Shepard, established in 2013,” the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported:
But two donations, $15,000 to Planned Parenthood and $873 to the American-Russian Cultural Cooperation Foundation, have raised red flags for Republican opposition researchers in this charged political environment. The $873 contribution was part of an intended $1,000 donation on behalf of former Missouri Rep. James Symington, and was reduced when McCaskill and her husband paid for their own meals at a November 2015 dinner at the Russian embassy because of the foundation’s rules, she said.
McCaskill said she attended the dinner because Symington, a mentor, was being honored as someone who has long been involved with efforts to improve cultural relations between Russia and the United States.
Moscow’s top diplomat in the U.S. — the central figure in suspicions about Donald Trump connections with Russia — is returning to his country after almost a decade in the job, a former U.S. official confirmed Monday.
Sergey Kislyak, 66, will depart his position as Russian ambassador to the U.S. at the end of the summer as part of a long-planned rotation, two other U.S. officials told NBC News.
The transfer back to Russia, NBC News reported, “comes amid investigations by the FBI and Congress into Kislyak’s contacts with Trump aides during the 2016 election campaign.”:
In the space of a few weeks, contact with Kislyak has led to the firing of a top adviser to the president and prompted calls for the attorney general to resign.
Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and ousted national security adviser Michael Flynn met with Kislyak at Trump Tower in December for what a White House official has since described as a brief courtesy meeting. . .
Attorney General Jeff Sessions caught flak for failing to disclose during his confirmation hearing that he met with Kislyak twice during the 2016 campaign. He bowed to pressure in March by recusing himself from any federal probe of Russian meddling in the election.
NBC News made no mention in their story of Sen. McCaskill’s meetings with Kislyak or of her donations to the foundation on whose board he serves.
The revelations about her connections to Russian ambassador Kislyak have put McCaskill on the defensive as she gears up for what looks to be a tough 2018 re-election battle. Missouri is one of ten states Donald Trump won in 2016 where the incumbent Senator is a Democrat up for reelection in 2018.
The Numbers Don’t Lie: Proof Of Fake News Confirmed
Here is the proof. The skinny on fake news.
By Saint John Hunt
By Saint John Hunt
Basically, I’m typing this for myself. I can’t imagine anyone with half a brain who is ignorant of the collusion between the mainstream (fake) news media and their masters. The purpose of said collusion is to discredit the Trump administration by the non-stop reporting of fabricated “news” aimed at creating doubt in the public’s mind, with regard to their president.
The masters I speak of are in our own government, as well as foreign governments such as Bahrain. Back in 2013, CNN reporter Amber Lyon became a whistleblower against CNN, revealing that she got into journalism to expose wrongdoing and found herself more and more under the will of CNN big dogs. They wanted her to bend and even outright fabricate the news.
She was not willing to keep quiet about that any longer.
Being an Emmy award winning CNN journalist, she learned first hand that our own government routinely pays CNN to selectively report on certain events and even make up fake news stories. Ms. Lyon said she was ordered to report fake stories, delete unfriendly stories adverse to the Obama (Hillary) administration, and construct stories in specific manners while working for the supposedly middle of the road news network.
So when Trump calls CNN a “fake news” station, he knows what he’s talking about.
My point is that for almost one year, CNN has spent a majority of their air time on one thing; spreading fake news about Trump “colluding” with the Russians. Not only that, they have reported on charging him with obstruction of justice, of being a racist, of being a woman hater, and countless other lies.
Here is the proof. The skinny on fake news.
Harvard released a study last week that analyzed The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and the main newscasts of CBS,CNN,FOX, and NBC during the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency. The Harvard team found that CBS coverage was 91 percent negative and 9 percent positive. New York Times was 87% negative and 17% positive. Wall Street Journal was 70% neg and 30% pos.
Get this, FOX coverage was 52% neg and 48% pos. (fair and balanced more than anyone else, but still tilted against Trump). And CNN? The Harvard researchers found CNN’s Trump coverage was 93% negative, and 7% positive.
“CNN’s coverage during his first 100 days set a new standard for negativity,” wrote the authors of the Harvard study.
In a 20 hour period there were 13 hours and 27 minutes of “news” coverage, and of that an incredible 92% was devoted to bashing the Trump presidency, with a little more than 3 minutes per hour devoted to all other news. There were 123 guest appearances in one day, with 96 of them being anti Trump and only 7 guests being pro Trump.
CNN’s own on air news analysts did even worse with 69 appearances by anti Trump analysts and only 2 pro Trump analysts.
Now let’s get to the Trump news. Former head of Dept. of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson stated under oath that he found no evidence that the Russians were successful at changing voter tallies or voter totals. Johnson also stated under oath that he never saw any evidence that Trump or any member of Trump’s campaign colluded, conspired or coordinated with the Russians or anyone else to infiltrate or impact voter infrastructure.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper stated that there was no evidence of political collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians.
We saw former FBI director James Comey state under oath that he never saw any evidence of Trump collusion with the Russians. He confirmed that at no time was Trump under investigation and he stated that Trump did not request or order him to drop the Russian investigation. He did however reveal that Trump said “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go,” “He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.”
Comey wrote these and other points in a series of memos shortly after his meeting with the President. Admitting that “I hope you can let this go” is not a direct request, he still felt that Trump was subtly asking him to influence the investigation.
President Trump disputes Comey’s account of their conversation.
What is troubling is the fact that sometime after their meeting, Comey leaked the contents of the memo to a friend at Columbia University with instructions he should in turn leak it to the New York Times. This is bizarre behavior for the head of FBI. There comes into question the legality of what Comey did, if not the intent of his actions and the honesty of his testimony.
He’s a slippery fellow.
His actions were to undermine Trump in a stalemate of unprovable accusations. With no evidence as to who said what, it comes down to whom do you believe? The damage to Trump has been calculated and ongoing.
With so much media hype about Trump and the Russians, with CNN raging non-stop fake news smearing the President some folks might tend to believe James Comey.
This brings us to the fact that (inquisitor) Robert Mueller is compelled to resign his position as special counsel due to conflict of interest.
The law governing the special counsel (28 CFR 600.7) specifically prohibits Mueller from serving if he has a “conflict of interest.” Even the appearance of a conflict is not allowed.
The same Code of Federal Regulations defines what constitutes a conflict. That is, “a personal relationship with any person substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution” (28 CFR 45.2).
Comey is that person. He was substantially involved in the conversation with President Trump, who may be the subject of an obstruction investigation. In fact, the former Director is the only other person involved. There were no witnesses beyond himself.
A conflict of interest is a situation in which an individual has competing interests or loyalties. Here, it sets up a clash between the special counsel’s self-interest or bias and his professional or public interest in discharging his responsibilities in a fair, objective and impartial manner.
His close association with the star witness raises the likelihood of prejudice or favoritism, which will stop the fair administration of justice.
Ah well, these are my notes because in 5 years I won’t believe that such a blatant witch hunt could be possible, hundreds of years after the last fire went out in Salem.
It’s a witch-hunt. The mainstream media is leading the inquisition and Trump loyalists must stand up and speak out for our President.
Chuck Schumer’s Outrageous Lie Backfired In A Way He Never Expected
Of all the lies and fake news that has come out of the Russia investigation, one falsehood stands out above the rest.
And it was promoted by Chuck Schumer.
But his lie backfired, and it’s become a disaster for the New York Democrat.
The big lie of the Russia investigation was that Donald Trump was a target.
Former FBI Director Jim Comey gave the impression Trump was under investigation when he testified before Congress and revealed that the FBI was probing the Trump campaign’s alleged ties to Russia.
But Comey was telling a different story in private.
He told Trump – as well as leading Senators including Chuck Schumer – that the President was not under investigation.
Comey’s public failure to correct the record infuriated Trump and allowed Democrats like Schumer to gum up his agenda by creating a storm of scandal.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley set the record straight with a blistering criticism of Schumer.
Breitbart reports:
“Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) blasted Democrats on Thursday — particularly Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) — for fueling media hysteria, knowing full well President Trump was not under investigation for collusion with Russia.
In a statement delivered on the Senate floor, Grassley said that in March, former FBI Director James Comey had told him, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), and the group of Senate and House members known as the “Gang of Eight” that the president was not under investigation.
But Schumer, who is part of the Gang of Eight, continued to tell the media Trump was under investigation, Grassley said.
“That helped feed the media hysteria,” he said. “The Minority Leader even tried to say that the Senate shouldn’t vote on the Supreme Court nomination because the president was under investigation. And the whole time, he knew it wasn’t true.”
In one instance, Schumer told reporters on March 21, “There is a cloud now hanging over the head of the president, and while that’s happening, to have a lifetime appointment made by this president seems very unseemly and there ought to be a delay.”
But Trump was never under investigation.
When Trump fired Comey, he said it relieved the pressure on him from the Russia investigation.
What he meant by that was, in his letter notifying Comey of his termination, Trump said the former FBI Director informed him three time he was not under investigation.
Despite fake news stories to the contrary, Comey confirmed this fact in his Senate testimony.
This was the first public acknowledgment of what Schumer and other officials had already been told privately.
Had Comey simply told the truth, it’s likely he would still be FBI Director.
But by publicly saying the FBI was investigating the Trump campaign and Russia, Comey allowed speculation to run wild that Trump was some sort of traitor.
It was a despicable lie.
Trump Gives Voice to Victims of Illegal-Immigrant Crime
White House gathers families shattered by criminal aliens to push sanctuary ban and Kate's Law
by Jim Stinson
Tump gathered families of victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens at a gripping rally held at the White House on Wednesday afternoon, to highlight two bills that face a final vote in the House of Representatives before moving on to the Senate.
The House will vote Thursday on the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act and Kate’s Law, two bills that would crack down on sanctuary cities for illegal aliens, and toughen penalties against criminal aliens.
Inside the White House on Wednesday, Trump brought a number of families into the Cabinet Room to briefly discuss their experiences of losing a loved one at the hands of illegal immigrants, many of whom should have been deported and were simply set free by U.S. authorities.
Trump meets with 'immigration crime victims'
LifeZette was allowed to attend the limited press event, where family members of victims recounted their horrifying experiences of learning their loved ones had been shot by gang members, killed by a drunk driver, or even set on fire.
There was Jamiel Shaw Sr. of California, whose son, Jamiel Jr., was killed as part of a gang initiation in 2008. Shaw told Trump and journalists in the Cabinet Room that the suspect was arrested in November 2007 but given a four-month early release.
On March 1, 2008, the illegal alien shot and killed Jamiel Jr. within 24 hours of release. Shaw said there was a deportation hold on the suspect in 2008, but local authorities released him.
There was Juan Piña of California, who said his daughter was raped and killed, in 1987, by an illegal alien who later tried to kidnap a 12-year-old girl. Piña urged lawmakers to approve the laws and to put American citizens first when they consider their vote.
A more recent case was one addressed by Michelle Wilson-Root, 48, whose daughter, Sarah Root, 21, of Iowa, was killed last year by an undocumented alien who was driving drunk.
Wilson-Root's face showed the pain of the loss as she spoke about Sarah. In January 2016, Sarah Root was driving about in Omaha, Nebraska, celebrating her graduation from Bellevue University, according to USA Today.
Her Oldsmobile SUV was hit by a vehicle driven by Eswin G. Mejia, an illegal Honduran immigrant who had a 0.241 blood-alcohol level.
"I want some action. If this had been done years ago, my son would still be here."
Meija was released after he made a $50,000 bail by posting $5,000. He remains a fugitive, according to USA Today. Mejia's bail itself was an oddity; he had skipped court appearances before.
There was also Julie Golvach of Texas, whose son, Spencer, was shot by an illegal alien, Victor Reyes, in January 2015. Reyes had been removed from the United States four times between 2003 and 2010, according to the Texas Tribune, and was known for a history of violence.
No one knows why Reyes came to the Houston metro area to go on a shooting spree, according to the Tribune. He killed Spencer, a guitar-shop owner at 25, and a man named Juan Garcia. Reyes also wounded three others before a deputy sheriff killed him.
"We've lost everything. He was my only child," said Golvach, her voice cracking. "I want some action. If this had been done years ago, my son would still be here."
It's these stories Trump, who made cracking down on illegal-immigrant crime a key pledge on the campaign trail, sought to highlight before the House votes.
Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), the House Minority Whip, said his party won't be supporting the sanctuary-city law. But the Maryland lawmaker indicated Democratic leadership will less vigorously oppose Kate's Law.
"Kate’s Law is a little more complicated," said Hoyer, according to The Hill. "I'm advising members to look at it carefully and see what their conclusion is."
The White House touted its record on immigration and border enforcement on Wednesday, noting that there have been 40 percent more enforcement and removal operations compared to the same time frame last year.
The White House also said that arrests of convicted criminal aliens have climbed by nearly 20 percent. Trump wants to hire 5,000 additional Border Patrol agents and 10,000 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
Kate's Law would increase mandatory minimum prison sentences on deportees who re-enter the United States, and add penalties for those convicted of non-immigration crimes. It is named for Kate Steinle, who was killed in San Francisco on July 1, 2015, by an undocumented resident who had been deported five times. San Francisco is a sanctuary city for illegal aliens.
The "No Sanctuary for Criminals Act" would withhold certain federal grants from "sanctuary" states and localities that refuse to cooperate with ICE on enforcement issues and deportations.
