Driver (sticking his head through the car window on passenger side) : Sir, can I ask something?

me: Sure, but turn off your engine, otherwise I will not hear you.

Driver: what is the purpose of this village?

I briefly explain the story of the population which had to move away for the megalomaniac expansion plans of the port. I say that there are yet a few people remaining, who want to sleep quietly. And that the purpose of Doel is to be inhabited because the Council of State annihilated those plans.

Driver: Can I buy a house here?

me: Ask it to the port of Antwerp, but I think that chance is very small.

Driver: I would make a theme park here, with all kinds of scary figures.

me: Maybe that would be not that nice for the residents?

Driver: Do you still know some weird stories?

me: What's your name?

Driver: My name is Ramin, and my friend's is Ashley. We are from North Brabant. I wanted to treat Ashley to something else than a Mac Donalds or Pizzahut.

me: And ... was she impressed?

Ramin: She's in shock.

Ashley kept hidden during the whole conversation.
