Trump: Greta Fired For Not Backing MSNBC’s ‘Trump Hate’

"... because she refused to ..."
By Jack Davis

As part of a Saturday morning tweet-storm bashing the media, President Donald Trump said MSNBC fired Greta Van Susteren because she would not fall in line with the network’s policy of trashing him.
“Word is that @Greta Van Susteren was let go by her out of control bosses at @NBC & @Comcast because she refused to go along w/ ‘Trump hate!’,” he tweeted.
Van Susteren was fired by MSNBC on Thursday, a little more than six months after she joined the network. Prior to moving to MSNBC, she had spent 14 years at Fox News.
Trump also took aim at MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, with whom he has been feuding since he lambasted them in a Thursday tweet in which he called them “Crazy Mika” and “Psycho Joe” and claimed Brzezinski was “bleeding badly from a face-lift” when they wanted to join his New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago.
“Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!,” Trump tweeted on Saturday.
Trump also threw in a dig at CNN, which recently had to retract a story it ran about Russian connections to Trump’s campaign.
“I am extremely pleased to see that @CNN has finally been exposed as #FakeNews and garbage journalism. It’s about time!,” Trump tweeted.
Trump’s recent volleys at the media have drawn opposition from the media, but support from some of his supporters.
“Simply put, Mr. President: Ignore the advice from the MSM, the cheerleaders of the Democratic Party. They are out to destroy you. Keep fighting, and keep using Twitter to get respond to the vicious attacks and smears,” wrote J. Marsolo on The American Thinker.
Talk-show host Rush Limbaugh said Trump’s tweets unsettle the media because they don’t like a president who fights back.
“There’s no doubt the media is the power and the organizing force in America today behind American liberalism. It isn’t the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party now is an arm of the media. The media is the nucleus. So you have a president that fights back in his own way — not tolerable,” Limbaugh said.

After Phoenix Dropped Sanctuary City Status, Crime Rate Fell

When the City of Phoenix ended its sanctuary city status crime began to fall, the Arizona Police Association reports. Their statement contrasts sharply with politically motivated chiefs of police from around the country.
“When we eliminated our sanctuary policy back in 2008, we saw crime, violent and stolen vehicles fall by 25 percent,” former Phoenix police officer and Executive Director of the Arizona Police Association Levi Bolton told Fox News Channel’s William La Jeunesse in an interview. “We saw a 20-year low crime rate. When we were allowed and had the discretion to contact our federal immigration partners, crime fell dramatically.”
Lajeunesse reported data from City-Data.com revealing that from 2008 to 2009, the murder rate in Phoenix dropped by 27 percent. Other crimes fell as well. Auto thefts fell by 36 percent, robberies 23 percent, thefts by 19 percent, burglaries by 14 percent, and assaults by 13 percent, the report states. The rates fell again in 2010, but by smaller numbers. The overall crime index fell by 20 percent the first year after the city’s policy change.
Police chiefs around the country tout that sanctuary cities are safer than cities that actually turn criminal aliens over to immigration officials for removal from the country.
“Police chiefs across the nation believe that enlisting local police to enforce immigration law is a bad idea,” California Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon (D) told reporters during a recent press conference “Having [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] pluck criminals out of jail and send them across the border or wherever they came only to come right back endangers our communities.”
The University of California, Riverside, disagrees. A 2016 study by the university revealed that “violent crime is slightly higher in sanctuary cities.” It concluded there is not a “discernible difference in violent crime rates, rape, or property crime” across the 55 cities in their study, La Jeunesse reported.

No Intimidation... Scarborough Sought Help from WH to Stop Tabloid Story About His Affair with Brzezinski

MSNBC Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough reportedly approached the White House seeking help in preventing a story about his affair with co-host Mika Brzezinski from being published in the National Enquirer — a story that differs from his account spelled out in a Washington Post oped published on Friday.

According to an MSNBC journalist, Scarborough contacted Trump’s son-in-law and top adviser Jared Kushner ahead of the story’s publication earlier this month.
Gabriel Sherman, who writes for MSNBC and NBC, wrote in New York Magazine on Friday that three anonymous sources told him what happened between the White House, Scarborough, and Brzezinski.
“In mid-April, Scarborough texted with Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner about the pending Enquirer story,” Sherman wrote.
“Kushner told Scarborough that he would need to personally apologize to Trump in exchange for getting Enquirer owner David Pecker to stop the story,” Sherman wrote. (A spokesperson for Kushner declined to comment). Scarborough says he refused, and the Enquirer published the story on June 5, headlined, “Morning Joe Sleazy Cheating Scandal!”
Trump tweeted on Friday that Scarborough called him to see if the story could be spiked and that he declined the request.
Watched low rated @Morning_Joe for first time in long time. FAKE NEWS. He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no! Bad show
“Watched low rated @Morning_Joe for first time in long time,” Trump tweeted. “FAKE NEWS. He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no! Bad show.”
Meanwhile, the Daily Beast, using anonymous officials, revealed a more nuanced account of the days leading up to the tabloid article’s publication:
The Morning Joe co-hosts declined to name the multiple White House officials involved in this bizarre, ongoing feud. But one of those ‘top White House staff members’ was senior adviser and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, two White House officials confirmed to The Daily Beast.
According to these officials, Kushner and Scarborough had spoken ‘many weeks ago’ regarding a then upcoming negative Enquirer article on Scarborough and Brzezinski. Scarborough had ‘calmly sought’ advice from Kushner, who ‘recommended he speak with the president.’
But White House sources’ accounts of the conversation differed from Scarborough’s description and suggestions of more sinister interactions. No hostile threat or attempt at blackmail was made, according to these officials.
This is getting blown up on Twitter and elsewhere as some kind of blackmail operation,” one of the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity in order to speak freely, said to the Daily Beast. “The truth is far more mundane. In this case, Joe was talking to Jared about his [bad] relationship with the president and a Enquirer hit piece he was uneasy about.
The Daily Beast noted that Trump has “close ties” to the Enquirer, which endorsed him in the 2016 presidential election. But the Daily Beast also included a denial from the publication’s vice president of any White House involvement in the decision to run the story.
“Dylan Howard, the vice president of National Enquirer parent company American Media Inc., denied any knowledge of White House attempts to elicit an apology from Scarborough in exchange for spiking the story,” the Daily Beast reported.
“We accurately reported a story that recounted the relationship between Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, the truth of which is not in dispute,” Howard wrote in a statement posted on the Enquirer’s website on Friday. “At no time did we threaten either Joe or Mika or their children in connection with our reporting on the story.”
But in the Washington Post op-ed, written by the couple, entitled “Donald Trump is Not Well,” they told a completely different story of the Enquirer scenario:
“Top White House staff members warned that the National Enquirer was planning to publish a negative article about us unless we begged the president to have the story spiked,” they wrote in a Washington Post column. “We ignored their desperate pleas.”
And on MSNBC with Willie Geist on Friday Scarborough said:
“We got a call that, ‘Hey, the National Enquirer is going to run a negative story against you guys’…And they said, ‘If you call the president up, and you apologize for your coverage, then he will pick up the phone and basically spike this story,” Scarborough said.
“I had three people at the very top of the administration calling me,” the host continued. “The calls kept coming, and kept coming.”
In the Washington Post op-ed, the couple also said they had “fond memories” of Trump.
“We have known Mr. Trump for more than a decade and have some fond memories of our relationship together,” they wrote.

We're officially on vacation...now. Happy 4th of July weekend!!!

As his phony "National Enquirer intimidation" story falls apart, @JoeNBC Scarborough checks out of the debate and hides behind the flag. https://twitter.com/JoeNBC/status/880795961555070977 …

Pro-Life Provisions in Obamacare Repeal Bill ‘Non-Negotiable’ for Many Republicans

by DR. SUSAN BERRY
Many conservative leaders say whatever form the Republican bill to repeal and/or replace Obamacare takes, it must contain provisions to protect the unborn and get taxpayers out from having to fund Planned Parenthood.
In an interview following a press call with national conservative leaders on Friday, David Bozell, president of ForAmerica, told Breitbart News the elimination of Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funding is a “non-negotiable position” for him.
“Defunding Planned Parenthood has been promised over and over again, and I’m not even that satisfied with the fact that they’re only repealing it for one year,” Bozell said. “Getting rid of that provision is not negotiable and a non-starter.”
He added:
As a party, as a movement, both on the hill and in the White House, we’ve got to start standing up for the rights of the unborn, and we’ve got to be stewards of taxpayer resources. Handing hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer resources to a company that works in the baby body part trade is a non-starter for me.
The Republican Study Committee recently sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell that insists a GOP health care proposal contains provisions to protect life.
Committee chairman Rep. Mark Walker (R-NC) told McClatchy “it took him no time to gather the 30 signatures on the letter, which he said he sent as a ‘quick reminder’ to Senate leaders trying to craft legislation that can satisfy conservative and moderate Republicans in the Senate.”
“Pro-life protections are a no-brainer,” Walker said. “For about 80 to 90 guys in the House, that’s an immediate nonstarter.”
“We’ve warned the Senate that there’s nothing they could do that would blow the health care bill to Mars more than taking the pro-life components out of it,” Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ), who signed the letter, also told McClatchy. “I think they know if they do, they might as well not vote. It would blow it to smithereens over here.”
During the press call with national conservative leaders Friday, Arina Grossu, director of the Center for Human Dignity at Family Research Council (FRC), asserted the two priorities pro-life leaders are requiring of any GOP health care bill.
“First, that the bill defund Planned Parenthood and redirect the over half a billion in taxpayer money to federally qualified health care centers and community health centers,” Grossu said, and then added:
These federally qualified health centers not only offer screening and prevention services, breast exams, and prenatal services, but they also offer a full spectrum of other primary care services to women, children, and families that Planned Parenthood fails to provide, such as mammograms, a variety of immunizations, diabetes screenings, eye, ear, and dental screenings, well-child services, mental health services, and substance abuse health services.
“Second, we ask that it does not subsidize abortion in any of its plans,” Grossu continued. “Currently, Obamacare subsidizes over a thousand plans that include elective abortion. No tax credits should go toward plans that include elective abortion.”
The states and their Obamacare insurance plans that subsidize elective abortion can be viewed here.
Grossu said that Planned Parenthood is attempting to advertise itself as offering healthcare services in rural communities.
“That’s not true,” she explains. “Planned Parenthood goes into cities where it can make the most money. They’re actually not serving as many people. Planned Parenthood’s most recent annual report shows less patients going to them for services, but they’re getting more money from the federal government.”
The abortion provider’s own recently released annual report shows its profits, taxpayer funding, and number of abortions performed have all increased over the past year. However, many of the organization’s non-abortion services–such as contraception, cancer screenings, and prenatal services–have decreased over the same period. Nevertheless, Planned Parenthood advertises itself as a “healthcare provider,” and its president, Cecile Richards, has testified before Congress that, “abortion is healthcare.”
For years, the pro-life base of the GOP has been told by Republican politicians that Planned Parenthood would finally be defunded when the GOP controlled the House, the Senate, and the White House. Now, with Republicans in control in Congress and a pro-life President Donald Trump in the White House, these activists are expecting the GOP to come through for them.
Americans United for Life (AUL) President and CEO Catherine Glenn Foster says elected officials should keep their promises to eliminate abortion funding and to protect the conscience rights of all Americans who, under Obamacare’s HHS contraception mandate, faced significant governmental fines as a result of noncompliance.
“Replacing Obamacare with healthcare that respects both life and the constitutional rights of all Americans is a pro-life necessity,” Foster added. “It is un-American to use the force of law against those whose ethics require that they defend and protect life.”
AUL’s president says that, under former President Barack Obama’s signature legislation, “the concerns of pro-life Americans were ignored in favor of the abortion industry’s coercive and profit-maximizing agenda.”
A Marist national survey released in January found 83 percent of American adults oppose spending U.S. tax dollars to facilitate abortions overseas, and 61 percent – including 61 percent of women – oppose spending tax dollars helping to finance abortions in the U.S.
Additionally, the poll found that nearly three in four Americans – including a majority of residents who say they are “pro-choice,” want significant restrictions on abortion.
President Donald Trump has promised to defund Planned Parenthood and redirect its taxpayer funding to other community healthcare centers if the group continues to perform abortions.

Trump on States Refusing Voter Data: 'What Are They Trying to Hide?'

Image: Trump on States Refusing Voter Data: 'What Are They Trying to Hide?'
By Loren Gutentag
After at least 25 states have challenged or refused to comply with requests for voter registration data, President Donald Trump took to Twitter Saturday blasting the two dozen states, asking "what are they trying to hide?"
Numerous states are refusing to give information to the very distinguished VOTER FRAUD PANEL. What are they trying to hide?
In the Trump administration's quest to prove that illegal votes cost him the popular vote in the November election, The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity, formed last month via an executive order by Trump, asked the 50 secretaries of state this week to provide the voter data, The Hill and The Washington Post report.
Among the states objecting so far are California, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
Kansas Secretary of State and the panel's vice chairman Kris Kobach took a similar stance as Trump in an interview with NPR Friday.
"Frankly, if a state like Kentucky or California won't provide available information, one has to ask the question, 'Why not?'" Kobach told NPR. "I mean, what are they trying to hide if they don't want a presidential advisory commission to study their state voter rolls?"
Several states, including Indiana and Kentucky have replied.
"Indiana law doesn't permit the secretary of state to provide the personal information requested by Secretary Kobach," Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson said.
Lawson added the only information publicly available in Indiana was "name, address and congressional district assignment."
Kentucky's Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, a Democrat, told MSNBC on Friday the request wouldn't be fulfilled "on my watch," adding, there wasn't "enough bourbon here in Kentucky to make this request seem sensible."

Conway Slams Producer Who Said She Looks Like She Was Hit By a Shovel

During an exclusive interview on Friday, June 30, with Peter Hasson, associate editor of the Daily Caller website, White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway slammed CNN for having an "anti-Trump office culture."
Conway's remarks came after the release of a video that shows CNN producer Jimmy Carr calling her an “awful woman, you know, the blonde" who “looks like she got hit with a shovel.”
She also dismissed the notion that Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski is a victim of sexism, calling that idea "really rich just for any woman who works here" because of her attacks on women in the Trump White House.
The controversy began on a Thursday, June 29, tweet from Trump stating:
I heard poorly rated Morning Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe [Scarborough], came ... to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve and insisted on joining me.
She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no! Bad show.
The interview was conducted after James O'Keefe and Project Veritas released a video of Carr's remarks, leading Conway to note: "On this guy from CNN, it’s part of a culture where it’s accepted if not applauded to ridicule the president of the United States and his senior staff."
“She looks like she got hit with a shovel,” Carr told the Project Veritas videographer, who pretended not to know Conway.
“What’s that?” the man asked Carr, who repeated the disparaging remark a second time. “She looks like she got hit with a shovel.”
Conway also said during the interview: "And I’m sure people at CNN are hoping that the long holiday weekend, and as many of them have described to me that the 'lowly junior status' of this fellow, is supposed to fade into the Independence Day fireworks."
She stated that "the screaming lower third [of the TV screen} of the constant merciless attacks" on Trump and his senior staff.
The video’s release came out after CNN focused most of the previous day’s coverage on the disparaging tweets President Trump posted about Brzezinski and Scarborough.
In many ways, Conway continued, Carr "was just joining in on the fun. I'm waiting, waiting, waiting for someone there to stand up and express their outrage at a high-ranking woman at the White House being talked about in such ways."
On Friday, Scarborough asserted that his co-host "did have a little skin under her chin tweaked, but this was hardly a state secret."
"Media coverage of Trump’s remarks portrayed it as the latest in a pattern of sexist comments that he has made," Hasson stated.
Conway also pointed to several remarks Brzezinski has made against her, including one in which she referred to the White House counselor of generating "politics porn" that was being aired on CNN.
“When Mika said what she has said about me, I have not responded,” Conway noted. “All those things she’s said about me -- ‘politics porn,’ ‘liar,’ ‘nothing honest about Kellyanne Conway’ -- I haven’t responded to that, I haven’t shown the texts, I’ve sort of just sucked it up, swallowed it, dealt with the crying kids about it.”
“Let’s be frank here,” she stated, “it’s a one-percenter’s conversation.” Conway then noted:
I’m here for those people who need help, the women who have no jobs, no health care, struggling with opioid addiction, whose kids have been murdered by illegal aliens who hadn’t been deported, had felony convictions -- I’m here for all them, as is the president.
Also in the Project Veritas video, Carr was asked by an undercover journalist if CNN is impartial. He responded: "In theory. "
He then continued to talk about CNN’s views on President Trump.
“On the inside, we all recognize he is a clown, that he is hilariously unqualified for this,” Carr stated. “He’s really bad at this and that he does not have America’s best interests. We recognize he’s just f**king crazy.”
Carr also stated that Trump is “not actually a Republican. He just adopted that because that was the party he thought he could win in.“
“He doesn’t believe anything that these people believe,” Carr continued. “The man is on his third wife. I guarantee you he’s paid for abortions. He doesn’t give a s**t about abortion. He doesn’t care about gay marriage."
CNN released a statement in response to the fallout of the new video: "Diversity of personal opinion is what makes CNN strong; we welcome it and embrace it."
Obviously, Kellyanne Conway disagrees with the concept that cable television is interested in “diversity,” especially when it comes to her and the rest of the Trump administration.

Female Democrat Senators 'Brush Off' Female Scholars Against Islamism

A recent New York Times op-ed took aim at Democratic female senators, accusing them that contrary to popular liberal opinion, feminism isn’t for everyone – at least when it comes to Muslim women who oppose Sharia law.

Scholars and activists Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Asra W. Nomani wrote a piece titled “They Brushed Off Kamala Harris. Then She Brushed Us Off.” They exposed the absolute hypocrisy  that they experienced from feminists on the left when asked to testify about their experiences in the Muslim world before a Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on Islamism earlier this month.
Literally calling out Democratic Senators Kamala Harris, Heidi Heitkamp, Maggie Hassan and Cliare McCaskill, Ali and Nomani describe the silent “shutdown” they received from these supposed feminists, who didn’t even look them in the eye let alone ask them a single question about the political ideology of Islam. "Just as we are invisible to the mullahs at the mosque, we were invisible to the Democratic women in the Senate."
McCaskill, they reported, even took issue with the theme of the hearing, “Anyone who twists or distorts religion to a place of evil is an exception to the rule…We should not focus on religion."
Ali and Nomani expressed their concerns over the “deeply troubling trend among progressives” when confronted with the Islamic extremism. Sure, feminists are front and center when it comes to abortion rights, birth control, sexism, pay gaps and workplace discrimination, but when it comes to confronting the brutal realities of Islamic extremism – no one is speaking. There are no marches against honor killings, sex slavery, female genital mutilation, child marriages. There is only silence from the left. They wrote:
Sitting before the senators that day were two women of color: Ayaan is from Somalia; Asra is from India. Both of us were born into deeply conservative Muslim families. Ayaan is a survivor of female genital mutilation and forced marriage. Asra defied Shariah by having a baby while unmarried. And we have both been threatened with death by jihadists for things we have said and done. Ayaan cannot appear in public without armed guards.
In other words, when we speak about Islamist oppression, we bring personal experience to the table in addition to our scholarly expertise. Yet the feminist mantra so popular when it comes to victims of sexual assault — believe women first — isn’t extended to us. Neither is the notion that the personal is political. Our political conclusions are dismissed as personal; our personal experiences dismissed as political.
The article drew over 1,000 comments, so the Times invited them back to take questions from readers.
Speaking to Tucker Carlson on Fox last week, Nomani said because there is this stigma that anyone who speaks out against Islamic extremism will be labeled bigoted or Islamophobic, American feminists think twice about speaking up. She also explained that there are many ways to help combat the abuse and violence women face, but it all starts with an open conversation on the issue of Islamic extremism. Clearly Kamala Harris, Heidi Heitkamp, Maggie Hassan and Claire McCaskill aren’t the type of feminists open to such a frank conversation.

Gavin Newsom Slams NRA for Urging ‘Truth’ Against the Left’s Lies and Violence

Justin Sullivan/Getty Images
by AWR HAWKINS

Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom (D) is blasting the NRA for a new commercial that points to the violence of the left and asks Americans to respond with “the clenched fist of truth.”

The commercial is about seeing things as they really are, rather than seeing them the way the left likes to make them seem. It is about looking at attackers like the Alexandria attacker and admitting he was a Bernie Sanders supporters and a Trump hater, rather than glossing over those facts and embracing the left’s arguments that Alexandria was really a demonstration of the need for more gun control.
It is about the violence and in-your-face anger that Trump supporters suffered at the hands of the left during the 2016 presidential cycle, and so much more.
The NRA commercial is narrated by Dana Loesch, who closes her commentary by saying, “The only way we stop this, the only way we save our country and our freedom, is to fight this violence of lies with the clenched fist of truth. I’m the National Rifle Assn. of America, and I’m freedom’s safest place.”
Newsom responded to the commercial by suggesting the NRA is calling for right-leaning individuals to come after liberal politicians. He said the message of the commercial is, “Come after politicians. Come after policy makers. Come after ME.”
His attempts to recast the NRA commercial–to redefine the words and meanings contained in it–are a perfect example of the leftist machinations described in the commercial, minus the violence. They embody the very political correctness the left uses to cloak its own hatred for freedom in the garments of victimhood; to make itself appear under attack when, in fact, it is the left that wars against everything our Founding Fathers treasured.

Elizabeth Warren Came Up With An Insane Idea That Would Destroy America

Elizabeth Warren is a far-left radical. Kook?
But no one realized exactly how loony she really was.

Warren just promoted an idea that would destroy America as you know it.

When Obamacare was being debated, conservatives argued it was just a stepping stone to socialized medicine.

They contended the legislation was designed to destroy private insurance and fail, so Washington would be left with no choice but to impose complete government-run health care.

That’s exactly what is playing out right now.

Obamacare is in a death spiral.

The co-ops are closing across the country and insurers are fleeing the marketplace, leaving some states like Iowa facing the possibility of having no individual health plans offered.

And right on cue, Elizabeth Warren stepped up and insisted on single-payer health care.

The Seattle Times reports:
SEN. ELIZABETH WARREN SAID TUESDAY THAT OPPOSING THE REPUBLICAN HEALTHCARE BILL WASN’T ENOUGH AND THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY SHOULD START RUNNING ON A NEW NATIONAL SINGLE-PAYER PLAN.
“PRESIDENT OBAMA TRIED TO MOVE US FORWARD WITH HEALTHCARE COVERAGE BY USING A CONSERVATIVE MODEL THAT CAME FROM ONE OF THE CONSERVATIVE THINK TANKS THAT HAD BEEN ADVANCED BY A REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR IN MASSACHUSETTS,” SHE TOLD THE WALL STREET JOURNAL. ”NOW IT’S TIME FOR THE NEXT STEP. AND THE NEXT STEP IS SINGLE-PAYER.”
It sounds great.

Health care for all, and the government picks up the tab.

But then you examine the details and you quickly come to the conclusion it would be the end of America as you know it.

The first major problem is the price tag.

The Seattle Times’ article that quotes Warren discusses how well single-payer polls, but those polls don’t include the cost.

The Washington Post reports it would be $32 trillion dollars:
“BUT THE GOVERNMENT’S PRICE TAG WOULD BE ASTONISHING. WHEN SEN. BERNIE SANDERS (I-VT.) PROPOSED A “MEDICARE FOR ALL” HEALTH PLAN IN HIS PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN, THE NONPARTISAN URBAN INSTITUTE FIGURED THAT IT WOULD RAISE GOVERNMENT SPENDING BY $32 TRILLION OVER 10 YEARS, REQUIRING A TAX INCREASE SO HUGE THAT EVEN THE DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST MR. SANDERS DID NOT PROPOSE ANYTHING CLOSE TO IT.”
To put that in perspective, the entire U.S. budget is around $4 trillion a year and the national debt stands at $20 trillion.

You couldn’t raise taxes high enough to pay for this scheme without destroying the economy.

The second – and less talked about problem – would be the encroachment on personal freedom.

Once the government begins paying for your health care, they have an interest in you not using it.

With a $32 trillion price tag, politicians in Washington would be looking for ways to cut costs.

That could include government lifestyle mandates about diet, exercise and personal habits.

Or it could mean increased taxes on certain products to discourage their use.

The government already does this with cigarettes, and it’s not farfetched that other aspects of American life that are deemed harmful to public health will attract a sin tax.

Single-payer is a disaster and it would ruin America.

Is she a Native American or a Rhinestone Cowgirl?

IN CASE YOU DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW THIS LITTLE TIDBIT OF WONDERFUL TRIVIA.............

ON JULY 20, 1969, AS COMMANDER OF THE APOLLO 11 LUNAR MODULE, NEIL ARMSTRONG WAS THE FIRST PERSON TO SET FOOT ON THE MOON.

HIS FIRST WORDS AFTER STEPPING ON THE MOON,
"THAT'S ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND," WERE TELEVISED TO EARTH AND HEARD BY MILLIONS.

BUT, JUST BEFORE HE RE-ENTERED THE LANDER, HE MADE THE ENIGMATIC REMARK "GOOD LUCK, MR. GORSKY."

MANY PEOPLE AT NASA THOUGHT IT WAS A CASUAL REMARK CONCERNING SOME RIVAL SOVIET COSMONAUT.

HOWEVER, UPON CHECKING, THERE WAS NO GORSKY IN EITHER THE RUSSIAN OR AMERICAN SPACE PROGRAMS.

OVER THE YEARS, MANY PEOPLE QUESTIONED ARMSTRONG AS TO WHAT THE 'GOOD LUCK, MR. GORSKY' STATEMENT MEANT, BUT ARMSTRONG ALWAYS JUST SMILED.

ON JULY 5, 1995, IN TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA, WHILE ANSWERING QUESTIONS FOLLOWING A SPEECH, A REPORTER BROUGHT UP THE 26-YEAR-OLD QUESTION ABOUT Mr. GORSKY TO ARMSTRONG.

THIS TIME HE FINALLY RESPONDED BECAUSE HIS MR. GORSKY HAD JUST DIED, SO NEIL ARMSTRONG FELT HE COULD NOW ANSWER THE QUESTION. HERE IS THE ANSWER TO

"WHO WAS MR. GORSKY?":

IN 1938, WHEN HE WAS A KID IN A SMALL MIDWESTERN TOWN, HE WAS PLAYING BASEBALL WITH A FRIEND IN THE BACKYARD.

HIS FRIEND HIT THE BALL, WHICH LANDED IN HIS NEIGHBOR'S YARD BY THEIR BEDROOM WINDOW.  HIS NEIGHBORS WERE MR. AND MRS. GORSKY.

AS HE LEANED DOWN TO PICK UP THE BALL, YOUNG ARMSTRONG HEARD MRS. GORSKY SHOUTING AT
MR. GORSKY,

"SEX! YOU WANT SEX?! YOU'LL GET SEX WHEN THE KID NEXT DOOR WALKS ON THE MOON!"

It broke the place up.

NEIL ARMSTRONG'S FAMILY CONFIRMED THAT
THIS IS A TRUE STORY.

G’day…Ciao…….
