BREAKING: Voters Send Shock Message to Trump, Media Stunned

Despite the efforts of Democrats and their cohorts in the media, they just can’t stump President Trump! Long ago, the people realized the mainstream media is nothing more than fake news. No matter what they say, we know the President is firmly on our side!
Statistics only confirm the strength of President Trump’s support. A major new poll shows that people who voted for Trump by-and-large don’t believe in Russian collusion, according to The Hill. In fact, they don’t believe anything the media has to say!
This is huge! It shows the Left is completely wasting its time and money. Sure, they’re making a lot of noise and riling up radical Leftists who would never have voted for Trump, but that doesn’t do them any good.
Trump won the election massively. He built new bases for GOP support in states that hadn’t gone Red in decades. As long as Trump has his base, there’s nothing, electorally, that the Dems can do to stop him. That base is as strong as ever!
What makes this poll bad news for Democrats is that it comes from one of their own: a Left-leaning think tank called Public Policy Polling. Naturally, they’re trying to spin it as meaning that Trump supporters are ignorant.
That doesn’t change the fact that the Dems are clearly on the run. Just look at the numbers. According to the poll, 72 percent of Trump voters believe the stories about Trump and Russia are fake news. They simply can’t fool people anymore!
A mere 13 percent of Trump voters believe that members of Trump’s campaign worked with the Russians. And a whopping 77 percent think Trump should stay in office even if he did work with Russia!
It just goes to show how well Trump has connected with the everyday men and women who make this country great. As long as President Trump continues to keep his promises, we’re 100 percent behind him. No one has ever dared take on the Washington machine like he has.
The Left thinks it can destroy Trump with their incessant attacks. All they do is make him stronger. Trump is one of America’s greatest businessmen. He thrives under pressure, and attacks on him further stir his base to support him. If the Left wants to continue with their losing strategy, more power to them. Let them paint themselves into a corner!
Democrats attack Trump over his positions on immigration, Islamofascism, the economy, and health care. They don’t seem to understand that Trump didn’t just run on these positions; he WON on these positions. That means most Americans support Trump’s platform on key issues like stopping illegal immigration, building a wall, and repealing Obamacare.
Trump’s support will continue to grow as the fulfillment of his campaign promises improves our county. Trump has already disjoined us from TPP and the Paris Climate Accord. He’s fast-tracked the Dakota Access and Keystone XL Pipelines. He’s cutting the federal bureaucracy and fighting for an Obamacare repeal.
Illegal entries are at an all-time low right now, and the flow of Islamist immigrants has stopped. America is winning big league! President Trump, you have our support!

The Dream Act Is Back: Graham Says Trump Could Succeed Where Others Failed

By Susan Jones
Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) re-introduce the Dream Act, one piece of their comprehensive immigration reform goal. They spoke at a July 20 news conference. (Screen grab from C-SPAN)

(CNSNews.com) - The 780,000 young people granted temporary legal status by President Barack Obama should be allowed to apply for permanent residence, Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told a news conference on Thursday.
The senators have re-introduced the Dream Act, which would put those young people on an eventual path to American citizenship if they meet certain conditions.
Graham said it would be ironic if President Trump -- the man who started his campaign by talking tough on immigration -- would end up being the man who starts the country on the path to solving the immigration problem:
We have a president who could, in a snap of his finger, get the Republican Party united, more than Bush could; persuade people who feel threatened by illegal immigration -- that they’re going to take their jobs, commit crimes against their family – and persuade them this is a fair thing to do, unlike President Obama was able to do.
What has changed? A man in the White House who could take the people who object the most, and with a coherent, from-the-heart speech, change everything.
The Dream Act applies to young people who were brought as children (under 18) to the United States illegally by their parents. To qualify for permanent residence in the U.S., they must have been in the U.S. for at least four years; graduate from high school or get a GED; pursue higher education, serve two years in the military or work lawfully for three years; pass security and background checks (no felony convictions); speak English and demonstrate knowledge of U.S. history.
Those conditions "would knock a lot of my family out," Sen. Lindsey Graham joked. The English/felony thing gets a lot of 'em."
Graham said legislation is the only solution to the problem, since the courts will rule shortly on whether a U.S. president has the power to confer legal status on an entire group of people by executive order, as President Obama did.
"I don't know how the court's going to rule," Graham said, "but I think there's a very good argument that the president doesn't have the power to just grant legal status...to 800,000 people."
Graham said the 780,000 DACA enrollees (DACA is Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) have come out of the shadows at the invitation of their government. "The question for the Republican Party is, what do we tell these people? How do we treat them? Here's my answer. We treat them fairly. We do not pull the rug out from under them."
Graham said those young people are "no more connected to a foreign country than I am."
Sen. Durbin said he's been introducing the Dream Act for the past 16 years:

"We don't believe that young people should be held responsible for the errors or the illegal actions of their parents. Number two, we believe that those who were brought to the United States as children, have grown up in this country, have no criminal record; are prepared to serve this country in a variety of ways should be given that chance to make America a better nation.”
Durbin also said the legislation applies only to “dreamers,” not to their parents or other relatives.
But Graham indicated that the Dream Act is part of a larger effort to deal with the estimated 11 million illegal aliens in the United States.
“I have come to believe that comprehensive immigration reform, whether done in piecemeal fashion of done comprehensively, is absolutely essential for our national security; is absolutely essential for our economic viability. And I want to stop the third wave (of immigration) and never do this again. We’ve got to have a practical solution to the 11 million,” he said.
Sen. Graham said he appreciates the fact that the Trump administration has focused on getting the "bad hombres" out of the country.
“So the idea that President Trump is focused on criminal illegal aliens is a good thing. The fact that President Trump wants to create a secure border is a good thing. The fact that president Trump has said, ‘When it comes to these kids, they're really great -- I have a heart for these kids’ -- that's a good thing. So what are we trying to do? A good thing," he said.
Graham became emotional when he spoke about his good friend Sen. John McCain, now dealing with an aggressive form of brain cancer.
Graham said he became an advocate of comprehensive immigration reform when McCain was running for president. "So I started because John asked me. I have been doing this with Sen. McCain and others now since 2005 and (200)6."

MAGAnomics: White House Highlights Trump Economic Successes and Plans

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney highlighted and defined the “next iteration” of Reaganomics which he introduced as “MAGAnomics” during Thursday afternoon’s White House press briefing.

He spoke of times of stagflation in America that were met with what became known as Reaganomics, “a monetary policy to fix inflation, tax cuts, spending restraints, and a little bit of regulatory relief.”
Mulvaney then jumped to speak of the “next iteration” of that plan. He stated it was time for this new plan after more than ten years have elapsed since there was a healthy American economy, defined at a growth rate of three percent or more.
Mulvaney deemed this new plan, “MAGAnomics.” He defined it as, “a unifying theme of just about everything we do.” He emphasized the importance of seeing three percent growth again in America.
He recalled the mid-1990s when jobs were in abundance and he felt free enough to quit his job and start a business.
“What is MAGAnomics?” He posited before defining it as tax reform, the regulatory accountability project (previously called the unified agenda), energy dominance, welfare reform, infrastructure, trade policies, trade, and spending restraint. Mulvaney went on, “All of those things are designed towards one common end and that is three percent sustained economic growth in this country again.”
He honed in on the administration’s deregulatory agenda.
Director Mulvaney stated that the President gave him very specific instructions at the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), which is part of the OMB. The President told Mulvaney they must have a 2-for-1 policy on regulations that requires two regulations to be cut for every one they want to install. The second instruction Mulvaney received was that any new regulations could not increase financial burden.
“When it comes to major actions, we’re at 16-to-1,” said Mulvaney. He said the new regulation is the dental amalgam rule.
“It’s not just those big ones,” he said before numbering the total number of regulations removed or withdrawn at 860. He said none are particularly “sexy” or “glamorous.” He noted the “slow accretion, that slow cancer that can come from regulatory burdens that we put on our people.”
He gave one example as changes Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke has made in streamlining paperwork for outdoorsmen. It’s a small change that he said, when added up with others, can make a big difference.
Mulvaney then revealed that the Obama Administration had a “secret list of regs,” a list of things they wanted to regulate, that was not disclosed to the public. “We are disclosing it,” he said. “We will not have a secret list, we will not have a hidden list of regulations that we’re thinking about doing, but we’re not gonna tell you about.” He said that has ended.
Mulvaney then held up books of regulations put out by the Obama Administration during Obama’s last week in office. He comparatively held up a fractionally smaller stack of books that represent the regulations from Trump’s first week in office.

In the “last six months here, the Obama Administration put on over six billion dollars in new regulatory burden,” said Mulvaney. “We had zero.”
Mulvaney compared the first five months of the Obama Administration to the first five months of the Trump Administration, “They had over three billion dollars of new regs. We cleared the decks of 22 million dollars of regs. So we actually went the other way.”
He said Americans will see more decrease in regulatory burden in the coming years of the Trump Administration.
Reporters asked Mulvaney to give more details on the Obama Administration “secret list” of regulations. It was identified as things the Obama Administration that they wanted to advance that were not included in their Spring 2012 agenda. It was said that the Administration held back the list because of the 2012 presidential election.

Muslim Cop Who Shot Unarmed Woman Was 'Diversity' Hire

Valerie Castile, center, mother of Philando Castile who was killed by a police officer last year, marches in memory of Justine Damond on July 20, 2017 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
By JOSEPH CURL @josephcurl

The fatal police shooting of an unarmed woman in Minnesota was committed by one of five Somalis that Minneapolis recruited as part of its affirmative-action plan, according to new reports.
"The city’s affirmative-action program requires it to give preferential treatment to minorities, not only those hired by the city but by all contractors awarded contracts of more than $100,000," reports World Net Daily.
Minneapolis police Ofc. Mohamed Noor is accused of shooting and killing Australian Justine Damond, 40, who was engaged to be married in August. The local Star Tribune boiled the July 15 incident down to this:
“... two officers in one squad car, responding to the 911 call, pulled into the alley. Damond, in her pajamas, went to the driver’s side door and was talking to the driver. The officer in the passenger seat pulled his gun and shot Damond through the driver’s side door, sources confirmed."
That officer was Noor, a Somali-born recruit once praised by Mayor Betsy Hodges.
“I want to take a moment to recognize Officer Mohamed Noor, the newest Somali officer in the Minneapolis Police Department,” she wrote in a lengthy Facebook post in 2016 praising his 2015 hiring.
“Officer Noor has been assigned to the 5th Precinct, where his arrival has been highly celebrated, particularly by the Somali community in and around Karmel Mall. The community even hosted a meet and greet event (see pics) to welcome him,” Hodges wrote. “A wonderful sign of building trust and community policing at work. Welcome Officer Noor and all of the new officers in their new precinct assignments across the City.”
One city resident wrote on Facebook at the time: “Somalis are taking the rightful place in the society and fully integrated. The newest Somali American Police in the Minneapolis PD, Officer Mohamed Noor… We are proud of our young law enforcement agents in our American Somali community. You have our support and we got your back," heavy.com reported.
Other odd reports have been emerging since the shooting. For one, Noor had three complaints filed against him by citizens in just two years, record show. One was resolved but the other two are still active.
Meanwhile, the Jihad Watch website interviewed some of Noor's neighbors.
“He is extremely nervous," forklift driver Chris Miller, 49, who has lived next door for the past two years, told the site. "He is a little jumpy … He has little respect for women he has little respect for blacks and kids,” said Miller, who is African-American. "The least thing you say to him can set him off."
For some weird reason, Mayor Hodges wrote a note on her Facebook page addressing the city's Muslim population in which she pledges there will be no Islamaphobia — as if a white officer had shot an unarmed Muslim.

Melania Trump’s untold story (Did you know this!?)

First Lady Melania Trump is often portrayed as a successful fashion icon and hard-working mother — but she wasn’t always living the American dream.

In fact, it’s her childhood that most defined her — and untold story of survival and perseverance trapped behind the Iron Curtain in communist Slovenia.

Born Melanija Knavs in Sevnica, Slovenia, Melania had big plans from an early age.

“Even as a child, she dreamed of moving,” Mirjana Jelancic, a childhood friend of Melania’s, said. “I think I can say Sevnica was too small for her.”

According to Jelancic, Melania was a hard-working, ambitious girl, eager to overcome the strict communist society she grew up in. She wanted to redefine what it meant to be a woman — that she could be both a successful professional and a loving mother.

Despite frequent fuel and food shortages and other hardships, Melania took extra classes and learned four new languages so she could get ahead.

She didn’t let her humble roots hold her back from becoming one of the most prestigious and influential roles in the world – America’s favorite first lady.

Sandi Gorisek, author of “Melania Trump: The Slovenian Side of the Story” praised her patriotic nature and its influence. In the book she wrote, “the future of the USA and its population will be partly tailored by the patterns and principles leaned from the people of a small, proud nation situated on the sunny side of the Alps.”

Although the repressive communist regime Melania was raised under discouraged individuality, the future-Mrs. Trump would not be stopped from reaching her dream job: international supermodel.

Melania began young, and quickly made a name for herself in the modeling world at just 17-years-old.

But neighbors say she always stayed humble and was committed to her family — a character trait that is amplified by her life role as first lady.

Throughout her husband’s campaign, Melania fiercely defended Donald from the strong criticisms hurled at him, all while raising their young son Barron.

She has accepted the role of first lady with incredible courage and pride, values Gorisek says Melania’s parents instilled in her from a young age.

Even in a society where physical punishment was the rule for breaking norms, Melania and her mother would proudly dress fashionably and colorfully.

“To go against the popular opinion that the only proper color was gray was and still is courageous,” Gorisek writes.

The class that Melania has brought to the White House speaks volumes about her character.

She has never played the victim — despite nasty criticism about accent and relationship with her husband Donald from so-called “tolerant” liberals.

Instead, Melania is committed to her family and the American people, and her success serves as proof that strong and courageous people can achieve the American dream.

Tennessee Inmates Given Reduced Sentences in Exchange for Vasectomies, Birth Control

1
Inmates in a Tennessee county are being given an option: free vasectomies or birth control implants for reduced sentences.
General Sessions Judge Sam Benningfield signed a standing order in May permitting prisoners in White County, TN to get 30 days credit toward their jail time if they voluntarily agreed to undergo one of the birth control procedures, NewsChannel 5 reports.
Women who agree to participate receive a free Nexplanon birth control arm implant, which helps prevent pregnancies up to four years, while men are given free vasectomies by the Tennessee Department of Health.
According to its manufacturer, Nexplanon implants can be removed by a trained healthcare professional at any time. As for vasectomies, while there is always a risk a procedure cannot be reversed, vasectomy reversals are commonly performed.
So far, 32 women and 38 men have already undergone or agreed to the procedures.
Benningfield is trying to end the “vicious cycle of repeat offenders who constantly come to his courtroom on drug related charges.” These individuals “subsequently can’t afford child support and have trouble finding jobs.”
“I hope to encourage them to at some point finally take personal responsibility and to give them a chance, if when they do get out, not be burdened again with additional children, said Benningfield in an interview.
The American Civil Liberties Union has condemned the program, among others, calling it “unconstitutional.” An ACLU statement released on Wednesday reads:
Offering a so-called ‘choice’ between jail time and coerced contraception or sterilization is unconstitutional. Such a choice violates the fundamental constitutional right to reproductive autonomy and bodily integrity by interfering with the intimate decision of whether and when to have a child, imposing an intrusive medical procedure on individuals who are not in a position to reject it. Judges play an important role in our community – overseeing individuals’ childbearing capacity should not be part of that role.
In addition to the month credit, two days credit is additionally being offered to inmates who complete a Tennessee Department of Health “Neonatal Syndrome Education Program,” which aims to educate on the dangers of having children under the influence of drugs.
“I understand it won’t be entirely successful but if you reach two or three people, maybe that’s two or three kids not being born under the influence of drugs. I see it as a win, win,” Benningfield added.

Shock Spicer Resignation May Signal Wider White House Shake-Up

Signs of major impending change as Trump taps new comms director initially opposed by Preibus, Bannon

Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary who dutifully weathered media criticism for months and even became a Saturday Night Live punching bag, has resigned from the Trump administration.

The shock resignation follows President Donald Trump reportedly considering a staff shake-up in the executive offices as he also weighs going into full battle mode with the Department of Justice’s Office of Special Counsel.

The first sign of the change was word Trump would be appointing a new communications director. The new communications director is businessman Anthony Scaramucci.

Scaramucci's name was bandied about for the past 24 hours before being made public by the White House. Reports indicated that both Reince Priebus, White House chief of staff, and Steve Bannon, the special assistant to the president, opposed his appointment.

But Trump likely sees Scaramucci as the salve for a troubled communications office. An additional bonus is that several right-leaning outlets like Scaramucci, a loyal Trump surrogate. His nickname among admirers in the press is "Mooch."

Scaramucci is best known of late for "putting CNN into a body bag," as one conservative journalist told LifeZette, after CNN reported that the Senate Intelligence Committee was looking into a Russian investment fund. The June 22 story suggested the fund's CEO met with Scaramucci, at an event in Switzerland, before the inauguration.

Scaramucci threatened to sue, and by the following week, three top CNN journalists had resigned. The story was not only retracted — it was deleted from the CNN website.

Reports in the late morning indicate Trump offered the job and Scaramucci accepted. Spicer did not return a message from LifeZette, but the Washington Examiner reported the outgoing press secretary was displeased Scaramucci would take the title of communications director while he would continue to be responsible for much of the roles responsibilities.

Right-leaning journalists hope Scaramucci will arrange more interviews with Trump and his Cabinet officials, something they feel has been lacking in the first six months. Some journalists blamed Spicer for that, although it is widely known Trump picks his own interviews and the timing, too.

Scaramucci will steer stories in the conservative media's direction, said one right-leaning journalist to LifeZette, and "he's actually competent," he added.

But other right-leaning journalists will miss Spicer. He took questions from right-leaning outlets during the first days of the Trump administration, shocking the mainstream media.

At his second press briefing on Jan. 23, Spicer skipped the Associated Press, usually the first to get a question at the briefings, and called on the New York Post, a right-leaning tabloid owned by Rupert Murdoch.

On Jan. 24, Spicer again sent the media into a tizzy when he called on LifeZette for the first question.

But as the months dragged on, Trump had seen Spicer as being beaten up by hostile reporters. Trump reportedly did not like the news-making press briefings, which reportedly drowned out his message.

LifeZette began reporting in May that Trump would shake up his communications staff.

The first casualty was actually Mike Dubke, the first communications director, who quit on May 30.

Just after noon, Fox News reported Spicer quit because of the Scaramucci job offer.

Maxine Waters Makes Confusing Statements On 2020, Senility Suspicions Aroused

Maxine Waters

The democrats have had an awful track record of supplying themselves with unqualified candidates in recent years, and 2020 looks like it will be more of the same.

In 2016, of course, we had the corrupt and incorrigible Hillary Clinton emerge as the democratic frontrunner.  “Emerge” is a bit of a misnomer; Clinton was found to have been colluding with the DNC in order to become the nominee after discovering that Bernie Sanders was set to soundly slaughter her in the primaries.  Clinton, beyond being burdened by a closet full of skeletons the size of Yankee Stadium, was herself not well.  Numerous reports emerged from within the Clinton camp of fainting episodes, seizure-like behavior, and possible Parkinson’s Disease diagnoses.
Her challenger, Bernie Sanders, may have seemed a bit healthier, but was still considered a bit of an elder statesmen at 75 years old and slightly hunched – perhaps not quite fit enough for the rigors of the White House.
Now, 78 year old Maxine Waters has thrown her hat into the ring for a possible 2020 run, which would occur after her 80th birthday.  Or has she?
“’I’m not running for anything but my own seat. I don’t have any presidential aspirations. If the millennials want me to do it, I’d do it, though.’”
Maxine Waters calling on the opinions of the malleable and inexperienced millennials may be one of the most absurd suggestions in politics this year.  How Waters could possibly relate to these clueless voters who are hellbent on “social justice” and rewriting the 1st Amendment to abolish “triggering” is beyond understanding.
Waters went on to contradict herself, in the grand democratic tradition of hypocrisy:
“Maxine Waters has been on the forefront of the Democratic Party’s most heated statements about the Donald Trump presidency. The California congresswoman said Trump was the most ‘disrespectful’ and ‘disgusting’ person she has ever seen, called for his impeachment (despite denying it), and said the president should ‘do the country a favor and resign.’
“’I said, jokingly, “If the millennials wanted me to do it, I’d do it,”‘ Waters commented to The Hill on Thursday. ‘But it’s a joke.'”
It isn’t often that we’d agree with Waters, but yes, her possible 2020 run is a joke.
Once again, we see that the withered and ancient face of the democratic party doesn’t match the lanky, post-adolescent body of their voters.  Clinton, Sanders, and Waters are all longtime politicians with no grounding in American middle-class society…no matter how often they attempt to convince us of such.  Sure, Trump isn’t exactly your average American, but he hasn’t yet been tainted by the diseases of the Washington swamp the way that these liberal demagogues have.
In short, we don’t know if Maxine Waters will run for president in 2020.  We imagine that Waters herself won’t know if she’s running either until she loses in the primaries 3 years from now.

Reports: Trump Team Looks to Fight Back Against Mueller’s Overreach in Russia Probe

President Trump’s team is reportedly looking at ways to push back against an apparently overzealous FBI special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible Russian interference in the 2016 election — putting together a case of Mueller’s team’s alleged conflicts of interest.

The New York Times reported late Thursday that the Trump team is engaging in what the paper called a “wide-ranging” search for potential conflicts, including donations from members of Mueller’s team to Democratic candidates, past clients, as well as Mueller’s relationship to fired former FBI Director James Comey.
Trump had hinted at such a tactic when he told the Times in an interview Wednesday that he believed there were conflicts of interests in Mueller’s team, and that he would make that information available soon.
In the same interview, he took a swipe at Mueller by saying that a day before Mueller was appointed special prosecutor, Trump had interviewed him as a potential replacement for Comey.
“He was sitting in that chair,” Trump said. “He was up here, and he wanted the job.”
In particular, the White House has expressed concern about Mueller going outside the scope of his investigation, particularly into the area of Trump’s finances. Trump himself expressed this concern to the Times: “I think that’s a violation. Look, this is about Russia.”
The Washington Post reported that Trump has been “fuming” about the possibilities of the probe asking questions about his deal-making before he was a candidate, and that was “especially disturbed” when he was told that Mueller would have access to several years of tax returns.
“If you’re looking at Russian collusion, the president’s tax returns would be outside that investigation,” a close adviser to the president told the Post.
Should Mueller dip into areas that are perceived as outside the scope of his investigation, it seems that Trump’s team are ready to fight back, by focusing on conflicts of interest — particularly donations from Mueller’s team to Democrats. Already there are signs of this, with recent reports that three of Mueller’s team donated to Democratic campaigns — including Hillary Clinton’s doomed 2016 campaign.
According to the Post, another conflict is a claim that Mueller had a dispute with a Trump golf club in Virginia over member fees when Mueller stepped down as a member — something Mueller denies.
Mueller’s team appear to be going to battle too, apparently using the media to leak details to the press –namely, a Bloomberg report that cited a source “familiar with the probe.” That report said that the probe is looking into Russian purchases of apartments in Trump buildings, and Trump’s involvement in a “controversial SoHo development” with Russian associates.
Bloomberg also reported that they are also looking at the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow — indicating that Mueller has an extremely broad understanding of what his mandate is.
The Times reported Friday that Mueller’s team has requested IRS-related documents related to Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, from an investigation that was opened long before Trump’s campaign, and from which Manafort was never charged.
Trump has also reportedly discussed his authority to grant pardons in connection to the probe, although officials told the Post that he was only being curious about his authority.
“This is not in the context of, ‘I can’t wait to pardon myself,’” a close adviser told the paper.

Judge Says Charlie Gard’s Parents Can’t Take Him to U.S. Even Though He Was Given U.S. Residency

NATIONAL   MICAIAH BILGER
Charlie Gard’s parents appeared in court again Friday to discuss the next step in his case.

In the course of the hearing, British high court Justice Francis said their son cannot be moved to the United States for treatment without a court order, squashing hope that a move to grant him residency in the U.S. would help him, according to The Independent.

Earlier this week, U.S. Congressional leaders approved a measure to grant Charlie and his parents permanent residency status in an effort to make it easier for him to receive an experimental treatment. Pro-life Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Washington, led the effort; her daughter also was diagnosed with a fatal condition but survived because of an experimental treatment.

Charlie’s parents and his hospital are involved in an on-going legal battle over his medical care. The 11-month-old British infant suffers from a mitochondrial disease and brain damage.

Chris Gard and Connie Yates want to take their son to the United States for an experimental treatment. They raised more than $1.5 million for his care. His parents said they know the chance of the experimental treatment working is slim, but they want to try anyway for Charlie’s sake.

However, the courts and hospital have refused to allow them to transfer their son to another hospital. About a month ago, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that the hospital can remove Charlie’s life support and allow him to die. The hospital recently agreed to consider new evidence involving Charlie’s condition before taking him off the ventilator.

Justice Francis will consider the new information Monday and Tuesday in court.

Here’s more from the report:

The judge also said Mr Gard and Ms Yates cannot take Charlie abroad without a court order, despite efforts by US Congress to grant him permanent residency in the country so he can fly there for treatment, according to [legal expert and journalist Joshua] Rozenberg.

Charlie, who was born on 4 August 2016, has a faulty RRM2B gene, which affects the cells responsible for energy production and respiration, leaving him unable to move or breath without a ventilator.

On Friday, the high court judge also had stern words for protesters outside Great Ormond Street Hospital, where Charlie is located. Justice Francis said protesters for Charlie have disturbed other patients and threatened staff, and he warned them to stop, the report states.

The Daily Star reports more:

The judge examined issues at a preliminary hearing today and said he would need to know whether there was “new material” which could make a “difference”.

[Charlie’s parents] say there is new evidence and want Mr Justice Francis, who in April ruled in favour of Great Ormond Street and said Charlie should be allowed to die with dignity, to change his mind.

Last week, Mr Justice Francis suggested that the American specialist – Michio Hirano, a professor of neurology at Columbia University Medical Centre in New York – should travel to London to meet Great Ormond Street doctors and other clinicians.

Dr. Hirano examined Charlie on Monday and Tuesday.

Mr. Justice Francis is expected to analyse issues in more detail at another hearing on Monday.

Charlie’s parents also released a photo this week that shows him appearing to look at a toy; the hospital says the boy is blind and cannot move.

The hospital maintains that Charlie’s case is hopeless because he does not have a chance of any “quality of life,” according to the Birmingham Mail. Doctors caring for Charlie at the London hospital unanimously agree that it would be best for him to have his ventilator withdrawn and allowed to die, according to the hospital.

However, Dr. Michio Hirano, MD, a Harvard-trained neurologist, examined Charlie this week to provide his opinion about experimental treatment. He previously said he thinks the 11-month-old has a chance of benefiting from the therapy.

Despite all of his problems, Charlie’s parents – and millions like them – believe that Charlie is a valuable, living human being who should be given a chance to live.

His mother told told Good Morning Britain previously, “I’ve heard from doctors that there’s around a 10 percent chance of this working for Charlie so I think that’s a good enough chance to take.”

Yates said she does not want her son to suffer. She said it has been “absolute living hell” to wait and wonder when the hospital might end his life support.

“He’s our own flesh and blood and we don’t even have a say in his life whatsoever,” Yates said. “We are not bad parents, we are there for him all the time, we are completely devoted to him and he’s not in pain and suffering, and I promise everyone I would not sit there and watch my son in pain and suffering, I couldn’t do it.”

Trump Keeping Regulation Promise… Epic Blow to Obama’s Legacy

President Donald Trump is not only keeping one of his campaign promises, he is surpassing it eightfold. And in so doing, he has given an epic blow to the Obama legacy.
In January, Trump signed an executive order requiring that for every new federal regulation he implements, two must be repealed, Politico reported.
The president has shattered that goal. The Washington Examiner reported that according to top officials, Trump has eliminated 16 old regulations for every new one in his first six months in office.
“It’s really the beginning of a kind of fundamental regulatory reform and a reorientation of where we’re going with regulation,” said the administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Office of Management Budget Neomi Rao.
On Thursday, the Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions released a report that showed how hundreds of regulations have been killed or shelved. The Examiner reported that many of those were from Obama’s final days in office, when he flooded the system with proposed rules and regulations.
The report showed that Trump has withdrawn or removed a mind-boggling 860 regulations from active status so far.
The report also compared Obama’s first five months in office to Trump’s. Unsurprisingly, Obama imposed $3.1 billion in regulatory costs while Trump has cut regulations, saving around $22 million annually.
Trump has already saved taxpayers a significant amount of money by rolling back regulations, and Rao indicated that this rollback is just the beginning.
Rao said the practice in past administrations has been to only propose new rules. In fact, in the Unified Agenda report, there is no deregulation column, a problem she promised will be changed soon so it would be easier to keep up with regulations that have been repealed or withdrawn.
The Trump administration said last weeks that it's “MAGAnomics” goal of 3 percent economic growth depends in part on cutting costly regulations as well as giving businesses freedom to do more.
This is good news for Americans and the economy because the more free the market becomes, the better it performs.
