~All Gave Some~Some Gave All~ God Bless America~

Delighted with Trump
By James Lewis
Don't tell anybody, but I'm actually beginning to love Trump. Not physically, natch, but as our funniest and most truthful president since Calvin Coolidge.
Normal Americans have watched our politics turn to mud for a quarter-century, since Bill Clinton, the Arkansas corruptocrat. We've watched it and watched it while the media turned into a copycat Soviet propaganda ministry, and now, finally, somebody is acting like an adult and talking without having to explain every single word.
We know that the State Department has been Foggy Bottom for decades, a place where Harvard grads go to rusticate – effectively, to die as real human beings and turn into robotocrats. We know it, Harry Truman knew it, but The Donald is actually saying it. Not in whole paragraphs, but in sound bites every American understands – except for the deeply indoctrinated.
The sheer entitled misery of losing with Hillary has ruined their year. Well, they deserve it, because they are responsible for just about all the chronic troubles in the world. Yes, including Kim Jong-un and his whole family, who have been suckering the world with Democratic collusion for maybe thirty years.
Madeleine Albright was sent to that hellhole to "negotiate" with Kim II, waltzed with him like two cartoon hippos on the balcony of his palace while thousands of starving cadres marched by on the street below. Then she came back flaunting a "treaty" with the Norks, promising they wouldn't build a plutonium bomb, because they were really planning on old-fashioned uranium. They knew it, Bill and Maddy knew it, and the New York Times knew it, but they lied, lied, lied to us.
The American people were infinitely stupid, and the media celebrated Bill's big victory.
But we caught on many years ago, and normal, sane, and undeluded Americans have been storing up all those memories.
Trump means payback. We understand it every single time.
Don't tell mediots. Let them marinate in their hatred for another seven years – with a little luck – and then let's elect another business guy with common sense instead of a political whore.
(And they are all political whores. Politics isn't a business; it's a scam from beginning to end.)
The Democrats, every single one, have allowed all the messes to build up, including nuclear proliferation. Now Trump will be blamed if he doesn't clean up all the garbage they've allowed to grow and grow and grow. That's what they did to George Bush on Saddam Hussein, and our European "allies" are just the same. If we have to blow up Pyongyang, they will blame Trump. And guess who's built up the Deep, Corrupt, and tyrannical State.
I know the truth, and so do you.
Yay, Trump.

The ever-rising deadly toll of Europe’s insane migrant policy
A woman watches as migrants scatter from a rubber dingy beached on the coast at Cadiz, southern Spain in Aug. 9 file photo from video.AP
The numbers are horrifying: 2,408 people dead in the Mediterranean; 365 dead in North Africa; 35 dead in Europe.
A rash of horrific terrorist attacks this year? No, just Europe’s policy — or lack thereof — toward immigrants, and its grisly toll over seven months. Europe’s ad-hoc entry system is cruel to war refugees and cruel to economic migrants, too.
Two years ago, as newcomers arrived on boats across the Mediterranean via lawless Libya, crowding coastal areas of Greece and Italy, Germany did something that won plaudits. Chancellor Angela Merkel informally suspended the requirement that asylum-seekers register in their first port of entry, allowing people to make their way further west. The implied promise of German residency created chaos.
Merkel’s policy ostensibly targeted Syrians fleeing ISIS and war. But the message reached the world. More than a million people crossed that year. Some war refugees found a safe haven. More than 350,000 Syrians applied for asylum. But with no way to record who has entered, it’s impossible to know if asylum applications are representative of where migrants are from.
Last week, “dozens” of migrants landed a small boat from Morocco on a Spanish beach and ran off, according to witnesses. The same day on the same route, European officials rescued 25 men from sub-Saharan Africa.
That week, drivers found three stowaways from Sudan and Eritrea hiding beneath buses near Paris’ Eiffel Tower, hoping to sneak a ride into Britain.
Why does it matter where migrants are from, and who they are? A policy of taking in anyone who can physically make an arduous trip is compassionate to no one.
Europe’s non-policy favors men and boys who are strong enough to have a chance on a journey that involves being trafficked by smugglers across dangerous desert and water.
Many don’t make it. Credible reports have smugglers holding people captive for months, selling people as slaves or forcing migrants to kill one another.
It’s cruel to dangle the promise of Europe only for people who risk death, enslavement and torture. It’s also cruel to ignore those who often can’t even try: families, the elderly, the disabled, women and girls who don’t want to risk rape and those with no money to pay for passage.
This ad-hoc system also fails to distinguish between war refugees and economic migrants, who likely make up the majority. One route takes African migrants through Libya to Italy. About 100,000 people have made the trip this year.
Thousands of girls are trapped selling their bodies in Italy to pay off their passage. These sex slaves contract HIV from much older men who refuse to wear condoms. And they’re subject to violence. “Between 1994 and 1998, at least a hundred and sixteen Nigerian sex workers were murdered in Italy,” The New Yorker notes in a story about one teenage girl, Blessing, who made the journey.
Many such asylum seekers are pulled rather than pushed — pulled by a Europe that offers unrealistic notions of the protection it can offer to an unaccompanied minor.
Absent action, the problem will get harder, as poverty and population pressures grow.
Europe’s response is hardly improving. France’s new president, Emmanuel Macron, has bought 62 hotels to shelter thousands of people far from jobs and opportunity.
Europe’s other strategy is to hope that migrant numbers fall naturally as horrific conditions act as a deterrent.
Europe can do better — first by prioritizing war refugees, and not the ones who can walk across a continent. Europe should conduct its asylum interviews in existing refugee camps closer to war zones.
People are rational. They should know before they attempt a perilous crossing that turning up in Europe will put them at a disadvantage for education, a work permit or residency.
As for economic migrants: It usually goes unspoken that Europe cannot offer entry to everyone who doesn’t like life in a poor country. An annual quota — with interviews also conducted in applicants’ home countries — is arbitrary, yes. So is hoping that you won’t be sold as human chattel in Libya under the current ad-hoc system.
The humane response to someone like Blessing might have been a seemingly hard hearted deterrent: the certainty that Italy would fly her back upon arrival to her mother in Nigeria.

Rev. Franklin Graham Issues Brutal Response to Charlottesville… Libs Furious
BY MARTIN LIOLL
In a scathing, and what many might call unexpected, missive posted to his Facebook account, the Rev. Franklin Graham fired back at critics who would blame President Trump for the attack in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.
That attack claimed the life of one counter-protester, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, in addition to two Virginia State troopers who died in a helicopter crash while monitoring the white supremacist demonstration that started the unrest.
Posted Sunday night, Graham’s statement said that if earthly political figures don’t want to put the blame where it belongs — on evil itself — that there’s plenty of it to go around among themselves, and that’s the unexpected part.
I doubt anyone expected Graham to attack the local — activist and feckless — politicians eager to score cheap points for being anti-Confederate monument. What a strange phrase to type — “being anti-Confederate monument” — as if monuments to local heroes are somehow responsible for inner city violence or urban illegitimacy rates.
In his attack, Graham made points few others have the guts to make, let alone defend in this day of knee-jerk reactionism and insta-boycotting.
In his attack, Graham made points few others have the guts to make, let alone defend in this day of knee-jerk reactionism and insta-boycotting.
“Shame on the politicians who are trying to push blame on President Trump for what happened in Charlottesville, VA,” the outspoken evangelist wrote. “That’s absurd.”
“What about the politicians such as the city council who voted to remove a memorial that had been in place since 1924, regardless of the possible repercussions?” he continued, referring to the statue of Robert E. Lee that was put forth by organizing groups as the impetus for the demonstration.
“How about the city politicians who issued the permit for the lawful demonstration to defend the statue?” he added, getting specific about the blame. “And why didn’t the mayor or the governor see that a powder keg was about to explode and stop it before it got started? Instead they want to blame President Donald J. Trump for everything.”
While some conservatives have brainlessly defended the rally and others — equally brainlessly — attack Trump to prove they’re not racists, Graham boldly said what few others have been willing to say, that evil is responsible for Saturday’s tragedy and foolish politicians were its unwitting tools. And nothing will infuriate liberals like that claim (well, that and maybe his refusal to blame Trump).
In their world, politics is everything, man is perfectible, and evil is something that springs from adolescence spent in the wrong environment. But they’re wrong and Graham is right. Politics can’t save us, man is completely fallen, and evil lurks in the heart.
“Really, this boils down to evil in people’s hearts,” Graham said. “Satan is behind it all. He wants division, he wants unrest, he wants violence and hatred. He’s the enemy of peace and unity. I denounce bigotry and racism of every form, be it black, white or any other.
“My prayer is that our nation will come together,” he concluded. “We are stronger together, and our answers lie in turning to God. It was good to hear that several Virginia and Charlottesville leaders attended church today at Mt. Zion. CNN said, ‘The racial divides that fueled Saturday’s violence were replaced by unity Sunday…’ Continue to pray for peace and for all those impacted by Saturday’s tragedies.”
Indeed, at times like this it’s worth remembering that the real enemy is division and hate. Our thoughts and prayers ought to be with the people of Charlottesville at this trying time, not aimed toward apportioning blame for the unspeakable evil of one individual and the contemptible causes so many gathered under the banner of this weekend.
The American Taliban’s War on Confederate Statues
I remember when the Taliban first popped up on my radar screen. It was in March 2001 – six months before 9/11 – and the world community was outraged at its destruction of the Buddhas of Bamiyan statues in Afghanistan.
Why would anyone blow up statues that had been standing for centuries? I mean, they’re just statues, right?
Well, because they “offended” Muslim fundamentalists who believed they were “un-Islamic” and a violation of Sharia law. So Mullah Omar had them blown to smithereens.
Which brings us to this weekend’s tragic events in Charlottesville, Virginia…
Let’s get this out of the way first: Alex Fields, the 20-year-old human piece of garbage from Ohio who drove his car into that crowd of people – killing one and seriously injuring more than a dozen – should be tried, convicted and executed.
This was not an act of “terrorism.” It wasn’t a “civil rights” violation. It wasn’t a “hate” crime. It was murder.
I don’t care what Fields’ beliefs are. I don’t care what organizations he might belong to. I don’t care if he carried hate in his heart. I don’t care if he’s a racist. What I care about is that he used deadly violence against people who posed no physical threat to him.
And for that, he should pay with his own life. Firing squad at sunrise.
And with that said, you cannot ignore what brought this all about in the first place: The “American Taliban’s” historically ignorant decision to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee from a Charlottesville public park.
And for the record, I’m referring to the “American Taliban’s” War on Statues, not their religious beliefs - including the removal of another Lee statue, among others, in New Orleans in the dead of night back in May.
This effort to whitewash American history in Charlottesville isn’t something new. And you don’t have to be a “white supremacist” or a “white nationalist” or a “neo-Nazi” or a member of the KKK to object to it. It’s just plain wrong.
What if local communities started voting to remove Martin Luther King’sname from streets and parks all across the country? Can you imagine the responses to THAT?
There is a right to free speech in our Constitution. There is NO right not to feel offended. Grow up. Get a grip. And stop making mountains out of molehills. THEY’RE STATUES for crying out loud!!!
And by the way, this whitewashing of American history didn’t start underDonald Trump. No, these racial flames were fanned during Barack Obama’sreign. So if you want to blame a President of the United States for Charlottesville this weekend instead of nutjob Alex Fields, blame #44, not #45.
What’s ironic today are all the calls to end the “hatred.”
Because the hatred for President Trump - especially by Charlottesville MayorMichael Signer, who blamed Trump rather than his own inept city officials who knew this controversial rally was coming weeks in advance - apparently doesn’t count.
And that includes the stupidity grounded in Trump-hate as expressed by Congressman Ruben Kihuen (D-Nev.), and others, who slammed the President for supposedly refusing to “condemn” what happened in Charlottesville.
I say stupidity grounded in hatred because the President specifically stated on Saturday:
“We condemn (my emphasis) in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence.”
Plain English is apparently a second language for this partisan empty-suit windbag.
Kihuen - and other statue-hating liberal fundamentalists like him - continue to suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s not healthy for them. It’s not healthy for the country.
Maybe we need to bring Jerry Lewis out of retirement to help raise money to find a cure.
Cheers.

The GOP rebel threatening to snag Sessions' Senate seat
"Roy Moore lacks the war chest of two chief rivals in his bid to become the next senator from Alabama. He didn't land the coveted endorsement of President Donald Trump, and doesn't enjoy the advantages of incumbency. Yet the controversial former state Supreme Court justice is coasting over his Republican challengers in Tuesday's closely watched GOP Senate primary.
“Moore is set to easily secure a place in a September runoff, as the establishment-backed Sen. Luther Strange and Rep. Mo Brooks scrape for the second spot. ... 'I resent people from Washington, raising money in Washington, and sending negative ads to Alabama and trying to control the vote of the people,' Moore said in an interview after a GOP executive committee meeting here. 'If the Washington crowd wants somebody, the people of Alabama generally don't.'" - POLITICO's Seung Min Kim
Newsweek Blames Trump Women For the Horror of High Heels
0
This is for real. Newsweek published an article with this headline: “Melania, Ivanka and Ivana Trump Wear High Heels, a Symbol of Everything That Is Beautiful and Horrifying About Them.”
The article begins by complaining about “the ubiquitous stiletto pump” which Newsweek laughably claims is “not currently in fashion, but for Ivana, Ivanka, Melania and the Trump daughters-in-law, Carrie Bradshaw’s shoe of choice never went out of style.” The sneering and sniffing continue from there.
“Six months in, and the Trump women are well on their way to normalizing the footwear of the beauty pageant.” Gasp! Forget North Korea — this is a catastrophe in the making!
“Six months in, and the Trump women are well on their way to normalizing the footwear of the beauty pageant.” Gasp! Forget North Korea — this is a catastrophe in the making!
Newsweek asked former Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley about the physical demands of high heels. “As you get older in these shoes, your feet are going to have problems,” Talley says. “I am not gonna say Melania is gonna have them soon, but sooner or later she is going have to come down off that high arch.”
And sooner or late, Newsweek is going to have to accept that Donald Trump is President and Melania rocks high heels. Besides, isn’t it supposed to be sexist to tell women what they can or can’t wear? Isn’t it slut-shaming or something to tell women they aren’t allowed to be sexy?
Newsweek even consulted a psychologist and an anthropologist to tell us why Melania and Ivana wear high heels: they “just exaggerate the femaleness of the walk. So to deconstruct why Trump women wear high heels: They are just buying into traditional binary views of male and female.”
Oh good grief.
The anthropologist made sure to note that, “When women wear high heels at work, they send sexual signals that should be avoided if they want to be taken seriously.” Ivanka is a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur. She can’t be taken seriously wearing this?
I thought we weren’t supposed to slut shame? But, of course, the culture is perfectly fine to do that as long as the subject is conservative.
And by the way, Donald Trump didn’t “normalize” high heels. Does anyone remember this?
My mom has been wearing amazing shoes — yes, high heels — for years. And it’s not because she’s oppressed or weak. It’s because she wants to wear them. Women can wear whatever shoes they want to wear. Of course, Newsweek is perfectly fine with men wearing high heels, as Tapson points out. You can’t be against women in high heels, and perfectly fine with this:
Chelsea Manning posses for Vogue.
A little confused why you would want to celebrate someone who is a mentally unstable, suicidal traitor

NSA Confirms DNC Hacking Was An Inside Job
by: Remington Strelivo
A bombshell new intelligence report says that the Democratic Party email hack—which the left frequently cites as an example of Russian interference in the election—was, in fact, an inside job.
The report, which was published by Patrick Lawrence of the liberal publication The Nation, explains that “forensic investigators, intelligence analysts, system designers, program architects, and computer scientists of long experience and strongly credentialed are now producing evidence disproving the official version of key events last year.”
“There was no hack of the Democratic National Committee’s system on July 5 last year—not by the Russians, not by anyone else,” wrote Lawrence. “Hard science now demonstrates it was a leak—a download executed locally with a memory key or a similarly portable data-storage device. In short, it was an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system. This casts serious doubt on the initial ‘hack,’ as alleged, that led to the very consequential publication of a large store of documents on WikiLeaks last summer.”
The report goes on to discuss the solid evidence, compiled through long interviews and testimonies from forensic experts who are investigating the incident.
But basically, the experts determined that the speed that the files were transferred—23MB per second—would have been impossible to achieve over the internet. That means the files were almost certainly transferred via a device like a flash drive, which would necessitate the hacker (or, more accurately, the “leaker”) be physically present.
Further, the timestamp on the files say they were transferred at 6:45pm Eastern Time—which would only appear if the files were, in fact, transferred somewhere within the Eastern Time Zone.
The report adds that the so-called Russian “fingerprints” were added later by Guccifer 2.0, who claimed to have “hacked” the data.
“The Russian markings were artificially inserted prior to posting,” Lawrence wrote. “‘It’s clear,’ another forensics investigator self-identified as HET, wrote in a report on this question, ‘that metadata was deliberately altered and documents were deliberately pasted into a Russianified [W]ord document with Russian language settings and style headings.’”
The investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia continues to progress—but this report sheds substantial doubt that the whole “Russiagate” scandal was anything more than, as President Trump put it, a “witch hunt.”

Trump: KKK, Neo-Nazis, and White Supremacists Are ‘Criminals and Thugs’
President explicitly denounces hate groups by name after media criticism, 'repugnant to everything we hold dear'
by Kathryn Blackhurst
President Donald Trump specifically condemned the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists as “criminals and thugs” who “are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans,” in a statement Monday addressing the violence that took place at the Charlottesville, Virginia, rally on Saturday.
Trump came under intense fire for initially choosing not to single out the three groups by name in his initial Saturday statement responding to the violent clashes, which left one woman dead and 20 other people injured. Although the president repudiated “in the strongest possible terms” the “egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence” on Saturday, his omission of the specific groups drew attack lines from his critics.
Without mincing words, the president delivered a harsh statement that could leave no further doubt in Americans' minds that Trump renounced the "racist violence" that took place in Charlottesville.
"Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans," Trump said. "We are a nation founded on the truth that all of us are created equally. We are equal in the eyes of our Creator. We are equal under the law. And we are equal under our Constitution."
"Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America," he continued. "In times such as these, America has always shown its true character, responding to hate with love, division with unity, and violence with an unwavering resolve for justice."
Although Trump called out the three groups for their racial hatred and inexcusable violence, the president also left no doubt that he frowns upon all the violent and hate-filled groups that participated in the Charlottesville chaos, whether they originated from the Left or from the Right.
"To anyone who acted criminally in this weekend's racist violence, you will be held fully accountable," Trump said. "Justice will be delivered. As I said on Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms: this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence — it has no place in America."

Korean Crisis, Charlottesville Firestorm Bring Trump Back to D.C.
"And as I have said many times before — no matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same Almighty God," the president added. "We must love each other, show affection for each other, and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry and violence.”
Noting that he had just met with Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray, Trump praised the Department of Justice for opening "an investigation into the deadly car attack that killed one innocent American and wounded 20 others," which many have argued fits the definition of domestic terrorism.
"As a candidate, I promised to restore law and order to our country, and our federal law enforcement agencies are following through on that pledge," he said. "We will spare no resources in fighting so that every American child can grow up free from violence and fear. We will defend and protect the sacred rights of all Americans, and we will work together so that every citizen in this blessed land is free to follow their dreams in their hearts and to express the love and joy in their souls."

H.R. McMaster: There Shouldn’t Be a Spot in NSC for Those with ‘Narrow Agendas’
National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster on Sunday did not rule out removing more people from the National Security Council (NSC) if they come in with their own “narrow agendas.”
McMaster spoke with NBC News’ Chuck Todd, who asked him about his recent firings of a string of National Security Council staffers who were considered loyal to the president’s nationalist agenda.
In particular, Todd asked about NSC staffer Rich Higgins, who penned a memo warning of “globalists, bankers, Islamists, and establishment Republicans” seeking to undermine the president. That memo led to his firing.
“Is that worldview still represented on this National Security Council or is that something you’ve gotten rid of?” Todd asked McMaster.
McMaster responded that there “shouldn’t be a spot” for those with “narrow agendas” on the NSC.
McMaster replied, “I’m not really aware of any worldview at all except to serve our nation and to serve the president within the National Security Council and if there are those who, who come in, yea, with their own narrow agendas that aren’t there to enable the president, who aren’t there to serve the nation, then there shouldn’t be a spot for them.”
Todd also asked McMaster whether he could work with White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, the former executive chair of Breitbart News, amid reports of clashing over Afghanistan War policy. McMaster dodged answering the question three times.
Todd asked what was “going on” between him and Bannon, amid reports of the two clashing over policies. McMaster said it was “a lot of noise” but added that it was a “great privilege” to work with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Defense Secretary James Mattis, CIA Director Mike Pompeo, and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley — not naming Bannon.
Todd later repeatedly asked if he and Bannon could work together in the White House, and McMaster avoided answering directly.
The first time he was asked, McMaster said,”I get to work together with a broad range of talented people and it is a privilege every day to enable the national security team.”
The second time he was asked, he responded: “I am ready to work with anybody who will help advance the president’s agenda and advance the security, prosperity of the American people.”
Asked whether he believed Bannon advanced the president’s agenda, McMaster avoided a “yes” or “no” answer.
“I believe that everyone who works in the White House who has the privilege, the great privilege every day of serving their nation should be motivated by that goal,” he said.
Zionist Organization of America Doubles Down on Criticism of Under-Fire H.R. McMaster
by ADAM SHAW
The Zionist Organization of America, the oldest pro-Israel group in America, stood firm in its criticisms of under-fire National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster Monday — even as the U.S. Ambassador to Israel came to his defense.
The ZOA had previously issued a lengthy analysis of McMaster’s behavior, in which it concluded that the national security advisor was anti-Israel and a threat to Trump’s agenda, and called for McMaster to resign.
However, the ZOA says U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman wrote to President Morton Klein, claiming that their recommendation was “mistaken” and said he would like to “attempt to convince” Klein to change his position.
Axios’s Jonathan Swan reported that Friedman had reached out to Klein, but that Klein was determined to “double down.”
I'm told that US ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, reached out to the Zionist Organization of America's Mort Klein to ask him... /1
...to reconsider his attacks on HR McMaster. But I'm told Klein will soon double down on his attacks on McMaster. /2
But in a statement released Monday, the ZOA stood by its analysis, although it said it would “welcome any new or different information or thoughts or opinions that the Ambassador might have or has that we need to and will consider.”
The organization then listed a number of criticisms of McMaster it would like to have addressed.
ZOA’s concerns about General McMaster stems from many issues including his firing Trump loyalists who support Israel and oppose the Iran Deal; his hiring many who oppose Trump’s policies especially on Israel and Iran; his refusal to acknowledge that the Western Wall is in Israel; his refusal to state that Israel’s response to the terrorist group Hamas’ rocket attacks against Israel was “ethical”: his refusal to acknowledge that Iran has violated the Iran Deal; his refusal to use the term “radical Islamic terrorism,” and much more.
The statement also noted that while many of the strongest critics of McMaster are extremely pro-Israel, those who back him are often anything but.
“Supporters of McMaster include the radical Islamic anti-Israel group CAIR, left wing, Trump-hating, Soros-funded anti-Israel group Media Matters, anti-Israel TV commentator Van Jones and others,” the statement says.
Friedman did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Breitbart News.
Key Trump officials, including President Trump himself, have backed McMaster in the face of continued concerns from Trump’s base about McMaster’s globalist outlook.
The Wall Street Journal last week issued a defense of McMaster, suggesting he was the victim of a plot from within the White House.
Until the arguments made by those such as the ZOA are properly engaged by McMaster supporters, however, it seems that those concerns and criticisms will continue.

Now, more than ever, we cannot remain silent as marginalized & oppressed communities face appalling attacks. #StandwithCharlottesville
These are words from an organization that was founded by eugenicist Margaret Sanger – whose bust and images are still celebrated in the Smithsonian Institution’s National Portrait Gallery (NPG), despite a call by a national group of black ministers to have them removed.
In a letter to the gallery’s director two years ago, Ministers Taking a Stand wrote:
Perhaps the Gallery is unaware that Ms. Sanger supported black eugenics, a racist attitude toward black and other minority babies; an elitist attitude toward those she regarded as “the feeble minded;” speaking at rallies of Ku Klux Klan women; and communications with Hitler sympathizers. Also, the notorious “Negro Project” which sought to limit, if not eliminate, black births, was her brainchild. Despite these well-documented facts of history, her bust sits proudly in your gallery as a hero of justice. The obvious incongruity is staggering!
Perhaps your institution is a victim of propaganda advanced by those who support abortion. Nevertheless, a prestigious institution like the National Portrait Gallery should have higher standards and subject its honorees to higher scrutiny…
Like Hitler, Sanger advocated eugenics – the extermination of people she deemed “undesirables.” Finding that the American people rejected that idea, she then switched to birth control as a way of controlling the population growth of black people and others.
Now, more than ever, it is unacceptable to remain silent as marginalized and oppressed communities face violence & hatred. #Charlottesviille
In an interview with Breitbart News at the time, Bishop E.W. Jackson of S.T.A.N.D. said his group received a response from the NPG, which referred to Sanger as a person who struggled for justice because she tried to make birth control and reproductive freedom available to poor women.
“We responded back that this was not Sanger’s motivation,” Jackson asserts. “Her motivation was stopping people whom she considered ‘defective’ from having what she would call ‘defective children.’”
“She thought that black people needed to be stopped from propagating and growing their population, and other people she called ‘feeble-minded,’” he adds. “And the analogy I drew is that’s like saying, ‘Hitler might have been controversial, but at least he helped population control.’”
Jackson said it is “outrageous” that Sanger is held in high esteem.
“We will not rest until it’s taken down,” he asserts. “We want to make sure that everybody in America knows who Margaret Sanger actually was. We think that will put Planned Parenthood and what they do in the proper perspective and I hope this will be one more nail in the coffin of Planned Parenthood.”
Ryan Bomberger, chief creative officer of The Radiance Foundation, also told Breitbart News, “Museums educate the public about history. The NPG, however, wants to create a dangerous and fictionalized version of it.”
“Planned Parenthood was born in eugenic racism and elitism, and Margaret Sanger was the mother who gave birth to the world’s largest abortion chain,” he continued. “In the city where Planned Parenthood began, more black babies are aborted than born alive according to the New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. This is not the result of justice. It’s the result of animus.”
Regarding the notion that the institutional left upholds Planned Parenthood, founded by a racist, yet cites racism as the downfall of the United States, Bomberger added, “Liberals find racism in every institution of American life, except in the one industry that kills for a living.”
“Abortion is the number one killer in the black community (363,705 abortions versus 285,522 deaths from all causes of death combined),” he added. “Yet the propagandistic and hypocritical #BlackLivesMatter movement leadership stands with Planned Parenthood, proving that only some black lives matter.”
Last November, singer and TV personality Nick Cannon said Planned Parenthood inflicted “real genocide” on black Americans, later asserting the abortion provider was designed to “exterminate” black people.
“When you talked about Margaret Sanger, all the people who follow eugenics. It was all about cleansing,” the America’s Got Talent host said of Planned Parenthood’s founder in an interview with DJ Vlad.
“Margaret Sanger said that she wanted to exterminate the Negro race, and that she was going to use her organization as she founded to do so,” Cannon continued. “It was more about the sterilization and where it comes to actual ethnic cleansing — where they actually said we want to get rid of a class of people, a group of people. Seventy-five percent of them are all in the hood.”
“They like to label ‘feeble-minded’ or ‘lower-class,’ that’s what they used in public. In private, they were talking about the black community,” Cannon said.
Sanger’s organization – which now takes in more than $500 million in taxpayer funding annually – grew to perform over 300,000 abortions per year in the United States. According to the 2010 census, 79 percent of Planned Parenthood’s surgical abortion facilities are located within walking distance of black or Hispanic neighborhoods.
About 59 million abortions have been performed in the country since the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, nearly 18 million of them on black babies. As Breitbart News has reported, the Alan Guttmacher Institute also provided data showing that about 30 percent of all abortions in the U.S. are performed on black women, with another 25 percent performed on Hispanic women.
Baltimore Ravens tight end Ben Watson commented on Sanger’s bigotry in August.
“I do know that blacks kind of represent a large portion of the abortions,” Watson told TurningPointFriends.org, “and I do know that honestly the whole idea with Planned Parenthood and [founder Margaret] Sanger in the past was to exterminate blacks, and it’s kind of ironic that it’s working.”
Retired NFL Super Bowl champion Burgess Owens backed up Watson.
“Sanger looked at blacks as ‘weeds,’” Owens told Breitbart News, adding that the NAACP was complicit in the decimation of the black community through abortion. He added, “The NAACP was not a black-run, black-originated organization. It was run by 21 white, socialist, atheist, Marxist Democrats. It was the antithesis of Rev. Martin Luther King Sr.’s community at that time, which was capitalist, Christian, very pro-life, and pro-America. So, these 21 white people began to put a message through to the black community that Democrats were good, liberalism was good, and they subscribed to the same philosophy that Margaret Sanger believed of blacks at that time.”
Sanger, who began the Negro Project in 1939 and worked to bring birth control to blacks in an effort to reduce their population, joined with elite and well known African Americans Mary McLeod Bethune, W.E.B. DuBois, and Rev. Adam Clayton Powell Sr. The Negro Project was sold as a solution to poverty and high birth rates among the black community. At the same time Sanger promoted her theory of “eliminating the unfit,” she also condemned charitable organizations that she believed were elevating the very population that needed to be weeded out.
“If you wonder why urban, young, black women are allowing themselves to be victimized by Planned Parenthood, look at BET [Black Entertainment Television], which is owned by very wealthy white Democrats,” Owens urged. “Look at the 15 years of messaging that has been gotten through to our urban black communities: anti-white, anti-police, anti-family, and pro-abortion.”
“Forty percent of black babies have been given to the altar of abortion,” he observed. “In any other society, that would be considered genocide. Today, we put a nice name to it and, at the same time, have convinced our own mothers that their babies are no more than an inconvenience or a profit.”
