Nickelodeon UK To Premiere The "Alvin And The Chipmunks" Movie On Friday 8th September 2017
Nickelodeon UK & Ireland will host the network premiere of the hit movie Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007) on Friday 8th September 2017 at 5:00pm!
In the box office smash hit Alvin and the Chipmunks, when struggling songwriter Dave Seville (Jason Lee) discovers singing trio Alvin and the Chipmunks, he seizes the opportunity to put together his songwriting skills with the 'Munks unique talents. Their first collaboration, "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)" becomes an overnight sensation, propelling the Chipmunks to superstardom. But when Dave's friend, greedy record producer Ian (David Cross), gets a hold of the loveable rodent pals, will they fall into Ian's corrupt landscape of global contemporary pop music or find their way back to Dave? Featuring the voices of Justin Long as Alvin, Matthew Gray Gubler as Simon and Jesse McCartney as Theodore, an appearance by Jane Lynch (iCarly, Glee, Two and a Half Men) as Gail.
Following the debut of Alvin and the Chipmunks, Nick UK & Eire will encore the live action/CG-animated Nick Flick on Saturday 9th September 2017 at 9:30am.
Alvin and the Chipmunks is based on the beloved characters created by Ross Bagdasarian Sr., and features a screenplay by Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi (The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Sanjay & Craig, Snow Day) and Jon Vitti.
Additionally, Nicktoons UK & Ireland will be premiering brand-new episodes of the hit animated series ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks in September 2017!
