Trump Vindicated: Report Says Obama Government Wiretapped Trump Campaign

0
Paul Manafort, Rick Gates
U.S. investigators wiretapped President Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort, according to a report by CNN that vindicates the president’s earlier claims, which were mocked as a conspiracy theory.
President Trump had tweeted on March 4: “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!
Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!
Breitbart News editor Joel Pollak had reported the day before Trump’s tweet that the Obama administration “sought, and eventually obtained, authorization to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign: continued monitoring the Trump team even when no evidence of wrongdoing was found.”
Trump’s claim, and Breitbart News’s report, were mocked as a conspiracy theory, and other news outlets reported that there was no basis to the claims.
CNN itself at the time called the idea that Trump was wiretapped “incendiary.”
But a report Monday evening said U.S. investigators obtained a surveillance warrant on Manafort from a secret court and had monitored him before and after the election, including a “period when Manafort was known to talk to President Donald Trump.”
The report said the secret court that handles the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act had authorized a surveillance warrant against Manafort for an investigation that began in 2014, looking into his firm, the Podesta Group, and another firm’s lobbying work for Ukraine’s pro-Russian former ruling party.
“The surveillance was discontinued at some point last year for lack of evidence,” a source told CNN.
However, the FBI then restarted the surveillance after obtaining a new FISA warrant that extended early into this year. The report notably does not say when the new warrant was obtained. Manafort joined the Trump campaign as its chairman in May 2016.
The new warrant was “part of the FBI’s efforts to investigate ties between Trump campaign associates and suspected Russian operatives,” according to the report.
The report notes, “such warrants require the approval of top Justice Department and FBI officials” — but doesn’t specify which top Justice Department and FBI officials had approved it.
Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former FBI Director James Comey were leading the agencies, respectively, at the time.
The report said the first warrant had already expired when Manafort had become the chairman in May. Before he left in August, FBI investigators “noticed what counterintelligence agents thought was a series of odd connections between Trump associates in Russia.”
A some point, the FBI obtained the new FISA warrant and began monitoring Manafort again — who has a residence in Trump Tower. The story said it’s “unclear” whether the FBI surveillance took place there.
The Justice Department and the FBI denied that Trump was being wiretapped.
Comey later in March disputed Trump’s claims — in testimony that lawmakers could now find misleading.
He told the House intelligence committee, “With respect to the president’s tweets about alleged wiretapping directed at him by the prior administration, I have no information that supports those tweets, and we have looked carefully inside the FBI.”

The New York Times also reported that Comey had said Trump’s claim was false, and that he had asked the Justice Department to publicly reject it, according to the BBC.
James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence, also told Congress that intelligence agencies did not wiretap Trump, nor did the FBI obtain a court order to monitor Trump’s phones, according to the BBC report.

Food Stamp Usage Has Fallen Every Month Under Trump

New statistics from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) indicate that the use of food stamps has declined every month under the Trump administration.
The number of people using the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) dropped to 41,310,785 in June 2017, which is more than 2,000,000 fewer participants than in June 2016 and the lowest participation rate since 2010, when it was 40,302,000.
Since President Trump’s inauguration in January, the number of SNAP participants has dropped steadily every month, the largest drops from January to February (408,956) and March to April (521,295). Here are the numbers for January to June (the most recent available data):
  • Jan 2017 – 42,691,363
  • Feb 2017 – 42,282,407
  • March 2017 – 42,187,255
  • April 2017 – 41,665,960
  • May 2017 – 41,489,433
  • June 2017 – 41,310,785
This trend is not expected to slow down anytime soon; the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projects a steady 1-2% decline in participation per year for at least the next ten years. The CBO estimates that by 2027, the number of SNAP participants will be around 32.5 million people.
A variety of factors are contributing to the sharp decline in participation, including states like Georgia and Alabama that have instituted work requirements for welfare recipients. Other states are currently working on more strict requirements for participation in the program.
President Trump has also proposed cuts to SNAP in the 2018 budget proposal, a move the White House says is about boosting the economy rather than pulling the rug out from underneath people.

MAGA DOW Up 4,000 Points

MAGA DOW Up 4,000 Points Since Election
The DOW is up 22% and 4,000 points since the election. No President has more all time closing highs in their first year in office than President Trump.

The rise in the DOW since Donald Trump was elected President in November 2016 is historic!  Yesterday was another all time closing high for the 5th day in a row.  Americans are seeing this in their retirement accounts!

* President Trump is already the only President in US history to oversee two stock market rallies of nine days or more where the markets set new highs each and every day.

* On February 28th President Trump matched President Reagan’s 1987 record for most continuous closing high trading days when the DOW reached a new high for its 12th day in a row!

Former NYT Reporter: White House Sent Wrong ‘Signal’ by Having 11-Year-Old Frank Giaccio Mow Lawn

Frank Giaccio, 11, of Falls Church, Va., left, is encouraged by President Donald Trump, Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, while he mowed the lawn in the Rose Garden at the White House in Washington. The 11-year-old, who wrote the president requesting to mow the lawn at the White House, was so focused on the job at hand the he didn't notice the president until he was right next to him. (AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin)
A former New York Times reporter who covered labor issues received an onslaught of criticism on social media for a tweet he wrote saying the White House is sending the wrong message concerning child labor.
Not sending a great signal on child labor, minimum wage & occupational safety >> Trump White House lets a 10-year-old volunteer mow its lawn https://twitter.com/PressSec/status/908682993455308800 …
“Not sending a great signal on child labor, minimum wage & occupational safety >> Trump White House lets a 10-year-old volunteer mow its lawn,” Greenhouse wrote.
Steven Greenhouse, whose career with the Times spanned 31 years, had an issue with the White House allowing 11-year-old Frank Giaccio, of Falls Church, Virginia, to mow the lawn in the White House garden, citing “child labor, minimum wage, and occupational safety” laws.
The Daily Wire’s Joseph Curl called it the “dumbest tweet ever,” and many others took to Twitter to criticize Greenhouse, including the Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol, who calledGreenhouse’s tweet “sanctimonious and humorless finger-wagging”:
The sanctimonious and humorless finger-wagging of nanny state progressivism in one tweet. https://twitter.com/greenhousenyt/status/908685719178301440 …
3:54 PM - Sep 16, 2017

President Trump invited Frank to mow the lawn in the White House Rose Garden after the boy wrote a letter to the White House when he was 10-years-old. His letter stated, “It would be an honor to mow the White House lawn.”
“I would like to show the nation what young people like me are ready for,” Frank’s letter read. “I admire your business background and have started my own business.”
Greenhouse responded to many of his critics by tweeting that children can be “hurt by machinery” and posted multiple links to publications about children getting limbs amputated because they had been in accidents involving lawnmowers:
What this kid wants to do is noble, but sorry, I'm mindful of problems--I've written lots about child labor & kids being hurt by machinery
Teaching kids to be self-sufficient and the value of a day's work is problematic now? FFS! My dad had me on the tractor when I was 9. #SMH
Many Twitter users hammered Greenhouse for criticizing the White House’s message of teaching kids the value of hard work and self-sufficiency.
“Teaching kids to be self-sufficient and the value of a day’s work is problematic now? FFS! My dad had me on the tractor when I was 9,” one user fired back at him.
To put Greenhouse’s claims into perspective, a study from researchers at Penn State College of Medicine noted that more than 13,000 children had been treated for lawn mower injuries in 2015, but it also noted that many more adults received treatment for injuries sustained from lawn mowers.
Researchers said more than 68,000 adults ended up in the emergency room for lawn mower-related injuries. When it comes down to it, adults are more likely to get into accidents than children, who are often supervised while carrying out lawn mower tasks.

BOMBSHELL: Top Republican Secret Soros Connection Exposed

Mark Prvulovic

It seems that at least one top Republican has been taking money from liberal donors after all.

According to The Daily Caller, it turns out that Republican Senator John McCain’s Institute for International Leadership had accepted contributions of as much as $100,000 from progressive billionaire George Soros, as well as from Teneo — a Clinton-associated organization founded by Doug Band, Bill Clinton’s “bag man” who also helped secure lucrative speaking deals for the family.

After his failed presidential campaign in 2008 against Obama, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) spent nearly $9 million in unspent funds to form the McCain Institute for International Leadership. The institute is associated with Arizona State University, and its mission is to remain “dedicated to advancing human rights, dignity, democracy, and freedom.”

However, many have become concerned that some of the institute’s donors, as well as McCain’s involvement with the exclusive “Sedona Forum,” bear quite the similarity to the Clinton Global Initiative, which mixed together various special interest groups and politicians.

Most disturbingly, the McCain Institute has been found having accepted donations from rather suspicious sources, including a $100,000 donation from George Soros himself, along with Teneo, an organization that is deeply connected with the Clinton family.

The Soros-McCain connection reportedly became forged when the Senator was exposed as a member of the “Keating Five” during the savings and loan scandal. The affair affected him so much that he became an ardent supporter of campaign finance reform, a position that paved the way for his friendship with Soros.

Bloomberg previously reported a $1 million donation in 2016 from the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, a contribution that the institute has refused to explain either, but was described by a spokeswoman from Arizona State University as a “general, unrestricted contribution.”

Further investigation yielded numerous other suspicious donations. The institute has taken at least $100,000 from a Moroccan state-run company that has had several allegations of worker abuse. The business in question is a phosphate company that operates in the Western Sahara in outright defiance of UN resolution, violating international law and human rights in doing so.
It should also be mentioned that McCain had previously praised the King of Morocco in 2011, saying that the country was a “positive example to governments across the Middle East and North Africa.” The same king was also a major donor to the Clinton Foundation, personally giving $12 million to Hillary Clinton in return for holding a CGI meeting in the country.

In another case, the institute accepted another similarly sized donation from the Pivotal Foundation, which has given over $200,000 to the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), and also supported the Obama-Iran nuclear deal that the previous administration negotiated.
“This is a very real conflict of interest,” said Craig Holman, a government affairs lobbyist. “This is the similar type of pattern we received with the Clinton Foundation in which foreign governments and foreign interests were throwing a lot of money in the hopes of trying to buy influence.”

McCain has claimed that he has no active involvement with the institute. “I’m proud that the institute is named after me,” he says, “but I have nothing to do with it.” Regardless, one would think that a conservative senator, such as himself, would exercise more caution toward the sources of his namesake’s donations.

Obama’s BIGGEST lie revealed Sep. 18 (liberals HATE this)

Monday, President Barack Obama’s biggest hypocrisy was revealed to the world — and it has liberals screaming mad.
It’s so scandalous, most of the mainstream media is desperate to bury it.
“Obama is coming to Wall Street less than a year after leaving the White House, following a path that’s well trod and well paid,” Bloomberg first reported. “While he can’t run for president, he continues to be an influential voice in a party torn between celebrating and vilifying corporate power. His new work with banks might suggest which side of the debate he’ll be on and disappoint anyone expecting him to avoid a trap that snared [failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary] Clinton.”
These are some of the same hugely profitable banks that Obama helped bailout using taxpayer dollars.
The same “fat cats” he promised Americans he’s reign in are making Obama very, very rich — and it has liberals very, very mad.
Obama is just another self-interested Washington politician that doesn’t care about the little guy or justice, it turns out. He only cares about himself — and the proof is in the bigtime cash payout Wall Street bankers are lining up to give the former president.
This isn’t news to most Americans… but to his liberal supporters, it’s betrayal. All across social media, former Obama fans have been left dumbfounded by the Sep. 18 report.
View image on Twitter
According to Bloomberg, Obama is charging Wall Street bankers at Northern Trust Corp., Cantor Fitzgeral LP, and others a reported $400,000 each for a few hours with him, promising to come take pictures and give a speech to their executives.
Northern Trust, it should be noted, received $1.6 billion in taxpayer cash during the financial crisis… money they were caught using to throw extravagant parties.
Under Obama, not a single Wall Street banker was jailed for their role in the 2008 financial crisis that cost taxpayers so dearly.
Aggressively pursuing justice would have surely made enemies on Wall Street — and for Obama, that would have been bad for business.
Democrats have been eager to sweep Obama’s actions under the rug.
“No prominent elected officials weighed in — including Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), the most outspoken critics of the industry on the left — a reflection of the broader shrug that has characterized the party’s attitude toward the financial sector this year,” The Washington Post said.

Could you imagine the outrage if the rest of the mainstream media was brave enough to report on Obama’s post-presidency hypocrisy?
The outrage voters would feel could cost Democrats a lot of elections in 2018.
Is it any surprise that the Democrat-friendly media isn’t talking about it, then?

Mattis Explains Why U.S. Hasn't Shot Down Any North Korean Missiles

ARLINGTON, Va. -- Defense Secretary James Mattis said Monday that the U.S. has not moved to shoot down any of North Korea's test missiles because "those missiles are not directly threatening any of us."
"Obviously, Japan's missile defenses are up, and their radars are operating. Ours are. And they are intentionally doing provocations that seem to press against the envelope for just how far can they push without going over some kind of a line in their minds that would make them vulnerable," Mattis told reporters. "So they aim for the middle of the Pacific Ocean, as you know, where at least we hope no ships are around, right?"
"And the bottom line is that, when the missiles -- were they to be a threat, whether it be to U.S. territory, Guam, obviously Japan's territory -- that would elicit a different response from us."

Last week, Pyongyang fired an intermediate-range missile over Hokkaido, Japan, reaching its greatest test distance of 2,300 miles before splashing down.
"There are many military options, in concert with our allies that we will take to defend our allies and our own interests" should it come to that, Mattis vowed. "What we've done with the sanctions is we are putting the leader in North Korea in a position to be aware that the international community, voting unanimously twice now in the United Nations Security Council, seeing the increasing diplomatic isolation that comes with it, comes with the economic sanction that there's a penalty to be paid for ignoring international concerns and norms."
The Defense secretary acknowledged that there is a military option on the table against North Korea, but he would not go into details.
The Pentagon said Mattis spoke Thursday evening with Japanese Minister of Defense Itsunori Onodera after the latest ICBM launch.
"The secretary reassured his Japanese counterpart of America's unwavering commitment to the defense of Japan and the broader security of the region," Director of Defense Press Operations Col. Rob Manning said. "Secretary Mattis and Minister Onodera agreed that the North Korean provocation called for a strong demonstration of a unified front between the United States, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, and agreed on the importance of robust trilateral defense cooperation between the three nations."

Breitbart’s Pollak: Alabama Senate Race is Referendum on ‘New Trump’

Breitbart News Senior Editor at Large Joel B. Pollak told MSNBC on Monday that the U.S. Senate runoff in Alabama had become a referendum on President Donald Trump’s new turn towards working with Democrats.
“I think the president is trying to sell the new agenda. You could call it the New Coke.”
Pollak added: “He’s working with Democrats on this DACA deal, and so what started out … as a fight between insurgents and establishment is now a referendum on Trump’s new approach. And I think you’ll find that the grass roots, the Trump supporters, who are coming out for Roy Moore have a very different view from those in Washington who are pouring millions into the Luther Strange campaign.”
Former Ted Cruz spokesperson Rick Tyler had a similar analysis. “What’s going on in Alabama right now is conservative Republicans — which is largely all of Alabama’s voter base — they are tired of the establishment pick their candidates, and this is what has happened in this particular race. … This is the proxy fight in the Republican Party between the establishment and the insurgents. And Trump, for some reason, I would have to say, is on the wrong side.”
Asked why Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon seemed to be “going to war” with Trump, Pollak responded:
I would think that Steve, as he said, when he left the White House, wants to support the Trump agenda. You remember the whiteboard that he had in the West Wing of all the campaign promises that Trump had made? … I think Steve’s impression would be — and I can’t speak for him — certainly the impression at Breitbart and throughout the conservative grass roots is that ‘We’re helping Donald Trump’s agenda by defeating the establishment candidate.’ That’s what people would say to you, because Trump’s agenda is what people voted for him to enact. And the establishment in Washington, including the Republican establishment, doesn’t want him to do all of those things.
Moore currently leads Strange in the polls by eight percent, though the race is thought to be tightening.
According to Politico, establishment Republicans fear that a victory for Moore would inspire a wave of primary challenges to establishment-backed candidates.
Pollak summarized: “The Republican is likely to win in the final election in December. But it’s a question of what kind of Republican will that be? Will it be a Republican who supports the original Trump campaign agenda or one who supports the ‘New Coke’ — the one who supports Mitch McConnell and the direction Trump is taking with the Democrats?”

This Republican is Opposing the Senate Bill to Defund Planned Parenthood

NATIONAL   STEVEN ERTELT

A few Republicans may once again sabotage the Senate bill to defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
As LifeNews reported, members of the US Senate introduced new legislation that would repeal Obamacare and it also defunds the Planned Parenthood abortion business.  The new Graham-Cassidy Healthcare bill has been introduced by pro-life Senators Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy along with other pro-life members of the Senate. Pro-life former presidential candidate Rick Santorum also participated in the process of crafting the legislation.
The legislation defunds the Planned Parenthood abortion business and also rolls back taxpayer funding of abortion under Obamacare and contains other pro-life revisions that pro-life voters will find especially helpful.
But Senator Rand Paul is a no vote and Senator John McCain, who voted against the last bill to defund Planned Parenthood, is uncommitted. Two pro-abortion Republicans may hold out as well. McCain voted against the previous version of the reconciliation bill to defund Planned Parenthood and he may do so again — saying he has yet to formulate a position on the bill.
Sen. John McCain, a Republican who may hold a pivotal vote in the last-ditch GOP effort to repeal Obamacare, is withholding his support as leaders stare down a final deadline to act by the end of the month.
“I am not supportive of the bill yet,” the Arizona senator told reporters Monday, adding that he wants a more thorough legislative process.
On the conservative side, Sen. Rand Paul insisted Monday he is opposing the bill because it keeps too much of Obamacare.
“It’s another incarnation of replace. I won’t support it,” Paul of Kentucky told reporters, adding that it isn’t a “kidney stone” you pass to “just get rid of it.”
Because the Graham-Cassidy plan has no Democratic support, Republicans have only until Sept. 30 to push it through the Senate before rules expire that allow it to be passed with 50 senators plus Vice President Mike Pence’s tie breaking vote. Republicans control the Senate 52-48.
Graham said last week that McConnell said he was “all in” to help the two bill sponsors round up the 50 votes to pass the bill. Graham said they could have as many as 48 votes if the vote were held now. But a number of Republican senators have yet to get on board, including the three who defeated McConnell’s plan — Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and McCain.
Leading pro-life groups back the bill. Family Research Council (FRC) and Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) have announced their shared support.
“The Graham-Cassidy legislation would apply to federal health care law the principle contained in the Hyde Amendment that abortion is not health care and should not be subsidized. It redirects taxpayer funding away from abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood and provides better state-based health insurance solutions for families than Obamacare,” they told LifeNews.
Family Research Council President Tony Perkins and SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser released the following joint statement in support of the Graham-Cassidy legislation:
“We applaud Senators Graham and Cassidy for their leadership and strongly endorse the bill they have crafted. This legislation offers Republicans the best chance to fulfill their promises to repeal and replace Obamacare, stop taxpayer funding of abortion, and redirect tax dollars away from the nation’s largest abortion business, Planned Parenthood, to comprehensive health care alternatives.

“It is now well past time for Republicans in Congress to deliver on those promises. The Graham-Cassidy bill offers them the best chance to do that, with only 51 votes needed in the Senate to pass it before the September 30 deadline. The prior Congress passed legislation to repeal Obamacare and fund alternatives instead of Planned Parenthood that would have become law had it not been vetoed by President Obama, and now they have a commitment from President Trump to sign it. The pro-life majority controls both chambers of Congress and the White House. The GOP is without excuse. We urge them to keep their promise and repeal Obamacare and end the forced partnership between taxpayers and Planned Parenthood. Failure to keep their promise to voters will bring into question whether this Congress can truly be called the ‘pro-life Congress.’ Rhetoric must be translated into verifiable action.
“Should robust efforts to enact the Graham-Cassidy legislation though the FY2017 Reconciliation bill run out of time, then the fight to redirect funds from Planned Parenthood must move immediately to the FY2018 Tax Reconciliation bill. Planned Parenthood proudly self-reports taking the innocent lives of 328,348 unborn children last year and nearly one million over the past three years. That is 900 lives snuffed out before their first breath every single day by a single taxpayer-funded abortion chain. This tragedy is compounded every day that passes with inaction. The time for results is now. Lives depend on Congress’ leadership and action to enact the Graham-Cassidy bill.”
Unlike the continuing resolution in the debate over the budget, which require an unobtainable 60 votes to defund Planned Parenthood, the new health care legislation is a Reconciliation bill that requires only 50 votes to pass through the Senate and to get the President Donald Trump’s desk.
However the last attempt to pass a Reconciliation Bill did not obtain enough votes as three pro-abortion Republicans opposed the measure. They included former presidential candidate John McCain who typically votes pro life, as well as pro-abortion Republicans Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine. If pro-life Advocates want the nation’s biggest abortion business to be defunded, they will need to begin calling those three Senators office offices in droves.
Earlier this year, the abortion chain Planned Parenthood finally released its annual report.
The report shows increases in abortion numbers and taxpayer funding in 2015, alongside decreases in contraception, breast exams and overall patient numbers.
Planned Parenthood continued to maintain its status as the largest abortion provider in the United States. The abortion group performed 328,348 abortions on unborn babies, 4,349 more than the previous year, according to the report.
At the same time, it saw 2.4 million patients, about 100,000 fewer than the previous year and about 500,000 fewer than five years ago. Contraception services, which the abortion chain touts as its primary service, also dropped from 2.94 million to 2.8 million during the past two years.
Meanwhile, the abortion chain received more taxpayer funding. The report shows Planned Parenthood receiving $554.6 million, up from $553.7 million the previous year. This increase occurred while pro-abortion President Barack Obama was in power.
This pattern is consistent with its annual reports from the past several years. Abortions and taxpayer funding keep going up, while patient numbers and other services go down.
A recent congressional investigation into the abortion business involving its sales of aborted baby parts concluded with lawmakers recommended that Congress defund it. Planned Parenthood also has been caught in numerous scandals involving Medicaid fraud and failures to report suspected sex trafficking and sexual abuse of minors.
Earlier this year, Planned Parenthood leaders refused an offer to receive an increase in taxpayer funding if they stopped doing abortions. CEO Cecile Richards called the offer “obscene and insulting,” making it very clear that abortions – not women’s health care – are what really are important to Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood claims it is an essential provider of women’s health care, but its own annual reports show it continues to center its practices around aborting unborn babies.
Recent polls also indicate Americans support the defunding efforts. New polling found 56 percent of Americans in battleground states want Planned Parenthood defunded.
The abortion company has also been exposed for selling the body parts of aborted children. The expose’ videos catching Planned Parenthood officials selling the body parts of aborted babies have shocked the nation.
