Life goes back to normal in fearless Barcelona

Last Sunday, Urban Sketchers Barcelona organized a sketch-walk at Plaça Catalunya under the slogan #notincpordibuixoalcarrer, I'm not afraid, I draw on the streets.

I have never found Plaça Catalunya to have any special charm, but I'm glad to see life return to the square. The somber atmosphere following the recent terrorist attack was starting to linger.






Later in the afternoon I even took out my forgotten acrylic paints and painted this couple of ganapies who were taking selfies with the pigeons.

I hope that soon the Rambla will again be the one I drew in my book.
