Asialink 2017 in KUCHING

[By Paul Wang, Singapore] 300 over sketchers from Asia Pacific gathered in Kuching (East Malaysia) 3 weeks ago to once again celebrate on-location sketching. This annual event held in different Asian cities seeks to educate and foster closer bonds amongst the Asian sketchers. USK Kuching team did a really great job preparing for this massive sketching event and also their malaysian hospitality is infectious. For 3 days we turned laid back Kuching into a vibrant and happening city. We sketched, we ate, we attended workshops and most of all we made many many new friends. 

I also had the privilege of sharing my Sketching Dangerously workshop during the 3 day event. A local coffeeshop lady boss so kindly allowed me to use her shop as my workshop location. Her coffeeshop has been around for 70 years ago and certainly brought us back to the past. Click on the issuu link below to see more of my sketches from Kuching and Kuala Lumpur.
