Breanna Yde Pays Tribute To Music Great Tom Petty With Impromptu Performance Of "Free Fallin"

Nickelodeon's School of Rock star Breanna Yde may only be 14 years old, but she can appreciate the classic tunes of rock icon Tom Petty, who sadly passed away on Monday 2nd October 2017.

In honor of his contribution to music, Breanna did an impromptu performance of his hit "Free Fallin" when visiting New York's PIX11 (WPIX-TV) to promote her upcoming Nickelodeon Original TV Movie Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library. The highly-anticipated Nick Flick is based on The New York Times best-selling book of the same name, and will premiere on Nickelodeon USA on Monday 9th October 2017 at 7pm ET/PT.

Of course this multi-talented teen has other gigs going. Look for her in the upcoming animated movie "All I Want for Christmas Is You." The project is inspired by Mariah Carey's hit song. Carey has written new songs for the film. Look for it in mid November.
