Sketches with brush pen

We had a long holiday season of Chuseok(Thanksgiving day) from the end of September to Oct. 9th. Weather was good thankfully. I visited several places to see the new one or old ones for sketching too. This time I used brush pen mainly. It was so soft that I felt difficult to control. But I enjoyed the running pen anyhow. 

I drew this one at Incheon port. The place was near to the downtown so lots of people dropped in for refresh themselves. I added watercolor on brush lines. 39.5 x 27 cm

I took this scene of women who were waiting train in subway station.

I drew the inside scene at Bulkwangsa(temple) adding pastels. 

I drew one more in another floor of the temple. A 4

I visited Yeouinaru(quay) for surveying before our sketching meetup of Seoul this Saturday, Oct. 14. There was a facility for water sports located at the left side at 2 Terminal of Han River. 39.5 x 27 cm

I sketched this one seated inside the facility for cruise. 

Yeouido is an alluvial island in Han River. It was famous for the highest building in 1980s. The shining golden color at sunset looked beautiful. 

While moving I got on taxis I talked with the drivers. They didn't like the long holidays because there were few passengers. People went abroad or traveled using their cars. To drivers who had to enter daily amount was unsatisfactory the 10 days holidays.
