Some more local characters. Car characters this time. I'm a sucker for old cars and their individual personalities.
The rakish looking Ford Mark III Zephyr above looks very cool with it’s 60’s fins. It’s finished in that classic 60’s pale blue, just like my first car, a '64 Anglia. Bringing back memories, some good and some not so great of my old rusty ‘Anglebox’. Like bleeding the leaking clutch every other day (not so good) and dropping a 1500 Cortina motor in to replace a smoky old 997cc engine one weekend with mates (really good – it went like a cut cat after that – when I could get it in gear that is).
This Humber is a minter. An early 40's model I think, not sure if it's a Hawk or Minx, but looking super crisp in a deep glossy brown. An altogether more upright and formal looking beast, I would say it looks more debonair to the Zephyrs rakish.
