Steve Bannon Says One Thing Has Forever Broken the Democrat Party

by ADELLE NAZARIAN

Images

Stephen K. Bannon believes that the Democratic Party’s obsession with identity politics will ultimately backfire against them. In fact, he believes this has broken the party to such a degree that it will never recover.

The process has already begun.
In his new book Bannon: Always the Rebel, released on Monday, Keith Koffler notes that the former White House Chief Strategist revealed a deep flaw in the Democratic Party’s hand that showed its poker face as a transparent window to the true nature of the party’s illusion of strength.
It was through Bannon’s travel ban, which was expeditiously rolled out, that this revelation was made. The ban, quickly branded a “Muslim Ban” by the left, and some on the right, was intended to take attention off a second order that Bannon believed was much more significant; the “Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements” order signed on January 25, which called for building a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border to keep illegal aliens out.
Bannon, with the whiteboard in his office and his eagerness to check off Trump campaign promises as accomplished, took the brunt of the blame for the administration moving too quickly. But he says the uproar had its upside: It helped create “the resistance” that Bannon believes thoroughly delegitimizes the Democratic Party with average voters it needs to win elections. He claimed he knew the outrage was coming, and that the Left had fallen into a trap. “The Left bit on it, and created the resistance, and it blew up, and now it’s part of the political movement,” Bannon said. “It’s what’s broken the Democratic Party.”
As Koffler points out in his book on Bannon, the left’s reaction to the temporary travel ban showed that the Democratic Party “has become a mere anti-Trump party that gives aid, comfort, and protection to sometimes violent street protestors.”
He also noted Bannon’s belief that the Democratic Party’s addiction to divisive identity politics may succeed in stirring up much noise on the fringes, but that this very tactic will work against them among the very same minority groups they are using to cause an uprising.
This includes African Americans and Hispanics; both groups have expressed their resentment for the Democratic Party and anger at being used for political gain.
President Trump’s temporary ban targeted seven terror-prone states identified by President Barack Obama’s administration, pursuant to the Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015. The word “Muslim” is not once mentioned in the text of the temporary ban and it does not cover 87 percent of the world’s Muslims, who largely live in other countries than those listed.
Koffler writes, “Concluding that the United States was now serious about deporting them, illegal immigrants stopped showing up at the border. From February to June 2017, apprehensions at the border were down 58 percent compared to the same period a year earlier.” Homeland Security Department spokesman David Lapan is quoted in the book saying, “A lot of the discussion about changes in our enforcement policy and the way we are going about doing business, we believe that has deterred people. When you get here, it is likely you are going to get caught. You are going to be returned to your country.”

New Court Docs Blow Massive Hole in Moore Accuser’s Story

Since day one, Roy Moore has unequivocally denied the allegations of decades-old sexual misconduct that have tarnished his Senate race.
While Democrats and the mainstream media are trying desperately to smear the GOP candidate and shame anyone who gives him the benefit of the doubt, some new evidence just blew a hole in the accusations.
One of Moore’s accusers, Leigh Corfman, claims that almost 40 years ago, Moore tried to initiate a sexual relationship with her while she was still a teenager.
Her accusations hinge on two points: First, that she was left alone with the then-32-year-old attorney Roy Moore during a family court case… and second, that she lived with her mother in Gadsden, Alabama, when Moore allegedly harassed her.
Both of those points have now been called into question. The Washington Post story that originally outlined the case against Moore appears have have left some major details out — details that bring new questions about the story itself.
“Regarding the original court hearing where Corfman says that Moore asked her for her number while Wells went inside the courtroom, the Post reported that it ‘confirmed that her mother attended a hearing at the courthouse in February 1979 through divorce records,'” explained Breitbart News.
That part is a known fact. There was a court hearing involving Leigh Corfman and her mother, Nancy Wells. However, the Post left out a glaring detail: It was a custody case involving the 14-year-old girl, which means that there’s a good chance Corfman was in the courtroom, not left with Moore.
Additionally, the entire point of that court hearing was to give custody of the teenager to her father. She went to live with him soon after, not at her mother’s Gadsden house as the allegations claim.
According to court records, Corfman’s father’s house was in a completely different town called Ohatchee.
“This would mean that from the court hearing on February 21, 1979, until Corfman was ordered to move to her father’s house, Moore would only have had 12 days, including the day of the court hearing, to have repeatedly called Corfman at her mother’s Gadsden house, arrange two meetings, and attempt another. Moore has strenuously denied the accusations,” reported Breitbart.
Oddly, the fact that there was a window of just over 10 days for all of the alleged incidents to have taken place was not raised by the Washington Post’s article. Even more strangely, the change of custody and living location is completely missing from the accounts of Moore’s accuser.
“Neither Corfman nor Wells publicly mentioned the change in custody during the critical period where Moore was said to have arranged meetings with Corfman outside her mother’s home,” stated Breitbart.
A skeptic might wonder why these seemingly major details were left out. It gets even more odd.
Not only do court records indicate that Corfman stopped living at her mother’s house during the time frame of the accusations, but details provided by the accuser simply don’t hold up to scrutiny.
For instance, Leigh Corfman claims that Moore secretly called her on her bedroom phone in her mother’s house to arrange a meeting. Remember, this was 1979, long before cell phones and even cordless home phones were commonplace.
“Wells, 71, says that her daughter did not have a phone in her bedroom during the period that Moore is reported to have allegedly called Corfman — purportedly on Corfman’s bedroom phone,” stated Breitbart.
On that apparently non-existent phone, the accuser claims she agreed to meet Moore at a specific intersection “around the corner” from her house… a house where she no longer lived.
Around the corner — remember that.
“The Post reports, ‘She says she talked to Moore on her phone in her bedroom, and they made plans for him to pick her up at Alcott Road and Riley Street, around the corner from her house,'” summarized Breitbart.
Problem: It isn’t anywhere near “around the corner” from her house.
“[T]hat intersection was almost a mile away from her mother’s house at the time and would have been across a major thoroughfare,” Breitbart continued.
Let’s be extremely clear: We don’t know with certainty whether the claims against Roy Moore are true or not. Neither does anyone else, except the people directly involved.
That is the point: When an accusation is made, the first rule of our society and our laws is that the accused are innocent until proven guilty.
What we do know is that the timing of these accusations is extremely odd. After decades of Moore in the public light, these claims emerged with only weeks left in a key election that the candidate seemed to be winning.
We also know that there are many questions and blatant holes in the accusations. At the same time, the media is literally scolding and shaming any person who doesn’t buy into their narrative.
Facts should be independent of politics. In the Roy Moore controversy, however, politic seems to be overshadowing everything… and that alone should cause people to take a step back and take a hard look at what is happening.

Democrat Attorneys General Go to War with Little Sisters of the Poor

The Little Sisters of the Poor, an order of Catholic nuns who successfully battled the Affordable Care Act’s contraception mandate, will return to court to defend against Democratic efforts to restore federally mandated birth control coverage.
The nuns, who operate dozens of homes for the elderly poor, have long held that providing contraceptive care violates their religious beliefs.
The Little Sisters’ first case against the Department of Health and Human Services ended in October when President Donald Trump’s administration expanded the scope of religious exemptions to the mandate, that required employers to provide contraception access to employees without a copay. The case reached the U.S. Supreme Court in 2016, though the justices remanded the issue to a lower court without ruling on the merits, in hopes former President Barack Obama’s administration would reach a settlement with the nuns.
After the exemptions expansion, California and Pennsylvania sued the administration, arguing the amended version violated the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) and several provisions of the Constitution. The APA establishes a process for the promulgation, amendment, or recension of federal regulations. The states claim the administration did not follow proper APA process when amending the mandate.
“What group of Americans will they target next?” California Attorney General Xavier Becerra said in a statement in early October. “Will they allow businesses to deny you cancer treatment? Will they exclude you from insurance coverage because of a pre-existing health condition?”
Mark Rienzi, senior counsel at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, a public interest law group that litigates religious freedom controversies, said the lawsuits were a politically motivated effort to appease core Democratic constituencies.
“Sadly [Pennsylvania Attorney General] Josh Shapiro and Xavier Becerra think attacking nuns is a way to score political points,” he said. “ These men may think their campaign donors want them to sue nuns, but our guess is most taxpayers disagree. No one needs nuns in order to get contraceptives, and no one needs these guys reigniting the last administration’s divisive and unnecessary culture war.”
Neither state has standing to bring a case, since they have not identified a single person who lost coverage under the mandate’s broader exemptions, Rienzi said
“The states don’t have an interest in this case at all,” he said on a Tuesday call with reporters.
The state's counter that they may be saddled with additional healthcare costs under the new rule, should affected employees seek contraceptive coverage through state-funded programs.
Becerra and Shapiro brought the case in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, the federal trial court based in San Francisco.

Roy Moore Campaign Communications Director Forced Out Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegations

The communications director for Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore has resigned, the campaign announced Wednesday, but at least one campaign worker indicated that it wasn’t purely his decision.

John Rogers tendered his resignation last Friday, according to campaign chairman Bill Armistead.

“As we all know, campaigns make changes throughout the duration of the campaign,” Armistead said in a statement obtained by Reuters Wednesday. “John made the decision to leave the campaign last Friday — any representations to the contrary are false — and we wish him well.”

The resignation comes as Moore battles allegations of sexual misconduct with girls as young as age 14.

Rogers confirmed his resignation to the Washingtonian on Wednesday, but declined to comment any further.

Campaign aide Brett Doster told Fox News reporter Alex Pappas that Rogers had a falling out with the campaign.

“Unfortunately, John just did not have the experience to deal with the press the last couple of weeks, and we’ve had to make a change,” Doster said.

Fox News' @dangallo confirms that John Rogers, communications director for Roy Moore, is out. Campaign takes shot: "Unfortunately John just did not have the experience to deal with the press the last couple of weeks, and we’ve had to make a change," aide Brett Doster says.

2:20 PM - Nov 22, 2017

Moore’s standing in the polls against his Democrat opponent, Doug Jones, has plummeted since The Washington Post reported that allegations of sexual misconduct were levied against Moore in early November.

Before the allegations broke Moore held a sizable lead over Jones. He now trails 46 percent to Jones’ 46.8 percent support among Alabama voters, according to Real Clear Politics.

Moore has lost substantial support from within his own party in the weeks following the sexual misconduct allegations that were made public.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee announced it would stop funding Moore’s campaign shortly after the allegations were made public, The Daily Caller reported.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is one of the more than a dozen Senate Republicans who have called on Moore to drop out of the race.

Ivanka Trump told The Associated Press she has “yet to see a valid explanation and I have no reason to doubt the victims’ accounts,” adding “there’s a special place in hell for people who prey on children.”
However, Moore has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them the “very definition of fake news.”

Many suggested that President Donald Trump appeared to take Moore’s side on Tuesday, saying Moore “totally denies” the allegations, and called into question the timing of the accusations.

“I do have to say, 40 years is a long time,” Trump said. “He has run eight races, and this has never come up.”

Trump pivoted to Moore’s Democrat opponent, saying “we don’t need a liberal person in” the Senate.

“I’ve looked at his record. It’s terrible on crime. It’s terrible on the border. It’s terrible on the military,” Trump said.

“I can tell you for a fact,” he added, “we do not need somebody that’s going to be bad on crime, bad on borders, bad with the military, bad for the Second Amendment.”

Mueller Busted In Nasty Plot, This Is Urgent

Jeff Charles

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has been raising eyebrows since he began his investigation into Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election. Many have been concerned that he would exceed his mandate and look into matters unrelated to Russia.

According to Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, Mueller is doing exactly what many have feared. In an appearance on Outnumbered Overtime on Fox News, Dershowitz, a lifelong Democrat, stated that Mueller is “going well beyond his authority as a prosecutor.”

According to Dershowitz, Mueller is treating President Donald Trump’s constitutional actions as if they were crimes. This is part of his attempts to determine whether or not President Trump obstructed Justice.

The Special Counsel recently requested documents regarding the firing of former-FBI Director James Comey from the Justice Department. He is also looking into Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ recusal from the Russia investigation. Mueller plans to interview a number of White House officials.

Dershowitz repeated his assertion that the constitution gives the president the authority to fire the FBI Director. “The President is entitled to fire the head of the FBI,” he said. “The president is entitled to direct his attorney general who to investigate, who not to.”

The law professor also stated that presidents have possessed this authority for hundreds of years. “That’s what the law has been since Thomas Jefferson,” Dershowitz said.
He argued that if this is to be changed, it must be done through legislation. “I don’t see that the prosecutor should have a right to turn a constitutionally protected act of the president into a crime by speculating on what his motive might have been,” he said, adding, “These are political sins if they are sins at all. They are not crimes.”

Dershowitz believes that Mueller is going to try to find evidence of wrongdoing through one of Mr. Trump’s associates. He stated that the Special Counsel would indict people with knowledge of the Trump campaign and pressure those people into disclosing potentially damaging information about the President.

If Dershowitz is right, Mueller is playing a dangerous game. The law professor stated that when people are targeted in this way, they may make exaggerated claims to get a better plea deal. He says this happens because these individuals know that “the better the evidence, the sweeter the deal.”

Dershowitz also argued that there is no reason to investigate either President Trump or Hillary Clinton, but he does believe that a bipartisan commission should look into Russia’s influence on elections.
If Mueller is going beyond the scope of his mandate, it could cause problems for the Trump administration. As seen previously, special counsels tend to investigate matters for which they were not appointed, and it could lead to serious issues. Many have expressed their concerns that Mueller’s investigation is designed to damage the President, not discover more information about Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election.

If Mueller’s investigation is politically motivated, it may not only cause problems for President Trump, but also for the Special Counsel himself. As time goes on, Mueller’s actions show that this probe could be nothing more than the witch hunt many already believe it to be. This could mean that the results of the investigation might be questioned by the GOP as well as others. Either way, that knowledge is unknown until the Special Counsel concludes his investigation.

Al Franken Hopes, Doggone It, People Will Really Like Him Again

I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and doggone it, people like me.
So spoke Democratic Senator Al Franken of Minnesota during his many Saturday Night Live skits where he played his recurring character Stewart Smalley. The problem is, daily affirmations aside, the voters of Minnesota don’t seem to be that fond of him now. As Ed Morrissey pointed out earlier this week, only 22% of his constituents want him to stay in the Senate. And that number might be a bit on the shaky side now that two more women have come out with their own allegations of unwanted probing of their posteriors.

Yesterday was Thanksgiving, which offers all of us a chance to reflect on our lives, relationships and futures, and Senator Franken is apparently no exception. He’s had some time to reflect on this dismal state of affairs and hopes that, much like Stewart Smiley, people will really like him again, doggone it, if they only give him time to show that he’s really, truly sorry and is ready to change. (Star Tribune)
Al Franken plans to stay in the U.S. Senate and try to win back Minnesotans’ trust.

Franken, who had been largely silent as four women accused him of groping them, issued a Thanksgiving afternoon apology and pledge. In particular, he said he “feels terribly that I’ve made some women feel badly.” He called himself “a warm person” who hugs people when they’re being photographed with him, but clearly, “I’ve crossed a line for some women.”

From his prepared statement

“I’ve met tens of thousands of people and taken thousands of photographs, often in crowded and chaotic situations. I’m a warm person; I hug people. I’ve learned from recent stories that in some of those encounters, I crossed a line for some women — and I know that any number is too many. Some women have found my greetings or embraces for a hug or photo inappropriate, and I respect their feelings about that. I’ve thought a lot in recent days about how that could happen, and recognize that I need to be much more careful and sensitive in these situations. I feel terribly that I’ve made some women feel badly and for that I am so sorry, and I want to make sure that never happens again. And let me say again to Minnesotans that I’m sorry for putting them through this and I’m committed to regaining their trust.”

In terms of apologies, while this may sound sincere and remorseful at first glance, it’s actually not. Notice how he continues to use the words embraces, hugs and greetings throughout the statement. Like many of you, I’m sure, I have to go to any number of professional or family gatherings where I will be approached by women I know and be offered a hug in greeting. At no time have I felt it appropriate for that hug to include a firm grasp of their buttocks, nor has that been done to me in return.

Also, this is a typical non-apology in the sense that the blame for how things worked out is subtly shifted back to the women. He talks about how “some women” may have “found” his greetings or hugs to be inappropriate. And he “respects their feelings” about it. Nowhere is he saying that he actually acted inappropriately. What he’s sorry about is that they felt that way. He goes on from there, not to say that he needs to stop being a creep, but to be more “careful and sensitive.” Again he’s not owning up to doing anything wrong, but instead saying he’ll have to walk on pins and needles to avoid upsetting any hypersensitive females who may misinterpret his totally sincere and not at all inappropriate or creepy butt grabbing.

So, much like Roy Moore, Franken has no plans to step down, but the choice may not be entirely up to him. This is an issue which has managed to galvanize voters from both parties, with many conservatives opposing Moore and plenty of high profile liberals calling for Franken to go. Sadly, this isn’t an issue where we can separate the ethics from the politics and the particulars of each case play into the reactions we’re seeing.

The Democratic party faithful don’t have the same concerns with Franken stepping down as the GOP base has with Roy Moore. In Moore’s case, if he dropped out or simply winds up losing, the seat could now easily go to a Democrat, causing huge waves in such a closely divided upper chamber. But if Franken resigns, there’s no such threat to the Democrats. Democratic Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton would simply appoint a replacement to serve until either the 2018 or 2019 elections (depending on when the vacancy took place). There are any number of Democrats being mentioned as possible interim senators. The only hitch there is that if Governor Dayton appointed his Lieutenant Governor, Tina Smith, the Republican President of the Senate would assume that post, so she’s probably out. But they’ve got plenty of other choices, including Keith Ellison. (An idea which would send thrills up the collective legs of the Berniecrats.)

Can Franken ride this out? Contrary to everything I’ve just said… probably. People have a limit as to how long it will be before they succumb to outrage exhaustion. If he goes before the Senate Ethics Committee and comes away with a reprimand (or anything short of forcible removal, which his highly unlikely absent some sort of criminal prosecution against him for sexual assault), they may just let it slip down the memory hole and move on to the next battle. Franken will have an asterisk by his name and can probably forget about ever running for President, but he could easily survive this by keeping his head down and staying out of any additional trouble.

But if there are any more accusers out there and the numbers grow too large, he may have no choice but to abdicate. Will there be? Al Franken has had a long career in television and now in politics. And by his own admission he “hugs” a lot of people. Don’t be too surprised if this isn’t the end of it.

Never Trump Senator Seals His Fate After What He Was Caught Saying
BY BENJAMIN ARIE

Never Trumpers are more delusional than even the Democrats.

Despite the majority clearly siding with Trump, they continue to buy in to left-wing fearmongering.

And thankfully, one Never Trump Senator just sealed his fate after he was caught on a hot mic saying something disgraceful.

Senator Jeff Flake of Arizona was hoping to be the next John McCain, sitting in office for the rest of his life.

That was before Donald Trump came along and ruined his plans.
After spending the entirety of the past year obstructing the President, Flake decided not to run for reelection in 2018.

I guess he saw the writing on the wall.
Despite not running for his Senate seat, there are rumors about his future ambition, and a possible run for President.

He may be forced to re-evaluate those plans after he was caught insulting both President Trump and Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

While speaking to the moderate Mayor of Mesa, AZ, he warned that the Republican Party will be “toast” if Roy Moore is elected.

As reported by The Hill:
REPUBLICAN SEN. JEFF FLAKE (ARIZ.) WAS CAUGHT ON A HOT MIC SATURDAY WARNING THAT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WILL BE “TOAST” IF IT BECOMES THE PARTY OF PRESIDENT TRUMP AND ROY MOORE.
AT A TAX-REFORM EVENT IN ARIZONA ON SATURDAY, FLAKE WAS CAUGHT ON A LIVE MICROPHONE BY ABC AFFILIATE KNXV BASHING THE PRESIDENT IN A CONVERSATION WITH MESA MAYOR JOHN GILES, A FRIEND OF FLAKE’S.
“IF WE BECOME THE PARTY OF ROY MOORE AND DONALD TRUMP, WE ARE TOAST,” FLAKE IS OVERHEARD SAYING.
MOORE, A GOP CANDIDATE FOR THE SENATE IN ALABAMA, HAS VOWED TO STAY IN THE RACE DESPITE MOUNTING ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT INVOLVING TEENAGE GIRLS.
GILES, A MODERATE REPUBLICAN WHO HAS BEEN MAYOR OF MESA SINCE 2014, IS ALSO HEARD ON THE RECORDING MAKING COMMENTS APPEARING TO ENCOURAGE FLAKE TO MOUNT A PRIMARY CHALLENGE AGAINST TRUMP IN 2020.
“I AM NOT THROWING SMOKE AT YOU, BUT YOU ARE THE GUY — JUST FOR FUN, THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH FUN IT WOULD BE — JUST TO BE THE FOIL, YOU KNOW, AND POINT OUT WHAT AN IDIOT THIS GUY IS,” GILES SAYS, APPARENTLY REFERRING TO TRUMP. “ANYWAY, I HOPE YOU DO IT.”
Flake has been a staunch critic of Trump, and announced in October that he would not seek re-election to his Senate seat in 2018.

Whatever future political plans Flake had were just shot down with those statements.

President Trump still remains very popular among Republicans.
The fact that Flake was forced not to seek re-election is proof of that.
Supporters of President Trump are getting tired of establishment hacks like Flake.
Arizona’s Senior Senator, John McCain, narrowly got re-elected in 2016.

The closeness of that election was undoubtedly because of the wave of support for President Trump, and it clearly scared the pants off of Flake.

I think Jeff Flake should resign now instead of waiting until his term ends?

Putin Makes Major Trump Announcement, Media Hates This

Mark Prvulovic

The media will have a lot to talk about in light of the recent conversation between these two world leaders.

Russian President Vladimir Putin scheduled a call with President Trump Tuesday to speak directly about jump-starting diplomatic efforts to solve the Syrian civil war, according to The Hill.

Just as a meeting between Putin and Syrian leader Bashar Assad in Sochi concluded, the Russian President reached out to his American counterpart in an effort to reach a peaceful solution in the civil war that has ravaged that war-torn country.

“Tomorrow, I am speaking with US President Donald Trump,” Putin said during their Monday meeting, according to a statement from the Kremlin. He added: “I believe that terrorism is a global problem” and that “as for our efforts against the terrorists in Syria, this military operation is nearing completion indeed.”

The last known conversation between Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin occurred earlier this month during an economic summit in Vietnam, where, among other things, the two discussed the North Korean situation. The Russian leader also said he would be speaking with other leaders in the region, including Qatari Emir Sheikh, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as well as the Turkish and Iranian Presidents as well.

Bloomberg reports that Mr. Trump’s conversation with Vladimir Putin lasted for an hour and was one where “both sides expressed satisfaction with the conversation that was held, which was businesslike and informative,” according to a separate statement from the Kremlin.

A White House press release echoed similar sentiments, saying the two discussed the need to revive UN negotiations and the “Geneva process to peacefully resolve the Syrian civil war, end the humanitarian crisis, allow displaced Syrians to return home, and ensure the stability of a unified Syria free of malign intervention and terrorist safe havens.”
Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin also agreed on the importance of fighting terrorism together and discussed additional ways to corroborate in future anti-terrorism efforts. They also touched upon implementing a lasting peace in Ukraine as well as pressuring North Korea to stop its nuclear programs – something that the two leaders have spoken about before.

Politico reported that these meetings come only days after Syrian troops and allied forces captured the town of Boukamal, the last major inhabited area held by ISIS forces in the country. With the loss of this strategic stronghold, remnants of the extremist group’s forces are now dispersed in villages and small towns across the desert.

Russian-American relations have been strained in recent years, partially due to the mainstream media’s narrative of Russian-interference in the 2016 presidential election. Despite the efforts of Special Counsel Robert Mueller to find any meaningful evidence that this took place, such claims remain completely unverified.

Project Veritas reported that an undercover journalist caught CNN producer John Bonifield admitting, “I haven’t seen any good enough evidence to show that the President committed a crime.” He also admitted that the Russian collusion narrative was good for ratings and that President Trump was justified in calling it an unfair “witch-hunt.”
As the two world leaders continue to have normal diplomatic relations, the mainstream media will undoubtedly try its best to exaggerate the implications of this conversation.

Boom: Christmas bonuses to jump 66%, to $1,797

In the latest sign of a booming economy, human resources officers from some 500 corporations anticipate a massive 66 increase in cash Christmas bonuses, added to a big surge in gifts and parties for American workers.

New data to Secrets from Accounting Principals said the “average bonus” will jump from $1,081 last year to $1,797.

Other findings:
  • 39 percent of companies plan to give employees other perks throughout the year instead of a bonus.
  • 38 percent will give charitable donations in lieu of a bonus, up from 31 percent in 2016.
  • 33 percent of HR managers say that asking a boss for a bonus directly will increase the likelihood of getting a bonus, compared to 15 percent in 2016.

Center for Security Policy says Trump National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster is “Unfit to Serve”

“Ever since H.R. McMaster was appointed National Security Advisor to the President, his tenure has been marked by one debacle after another,” Gaffney said. “His many acts of insubordination and malfeasance should have cost McMaster his job long ago. McMaster has made it a habit to publicly disrespect the president, and his contempt for Donald Trump disqualifies him from future service.”

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster’s pattern of insubordination to President Donald Trump clearly demonstrates his inability to continue in this role, said Center for Security Policy President and CEO Frank J. Gaffney, who in the wake of new revelations today has chronicled numerous concerns leading to the conclusion McMaster is “unfit to serve.”

A new Buzzfeed article today cited sources who said McMaster mocked Trump’s intelligence at a private dinner attended by Oracle CEO Safra Catz, including the following highlights:

  • “The top national security official dismissed the president variously as an ‘idiot’ and a ‘dope’ with the intelligence of a ‘kindergartner’”
  • “‘[Catz] said the conversation was so inappropriate that it was jaw dropping’”
  • “Catz was so alarmed by the tenor of McMaster’s comments about President Trump and Israel that she confided her concerns to several administration officials”
  • “[A]dministration officials threatened to retaliate against several figures with knowledge of the July dinner if they spoke to BuzzFeed News.”

Additionally, Gaffney listed ongoing instances of policy differences, insubordination and relationship challenges that reveal McMaster is simply not the best choice to serve Donald Trump as America’s National Security Advisor:

  • On May 8, it was reported that:
    • Trump had screamed at McMaster for calling South Korea to undercut the president on missile defense policy
    • Trump had called McMaster “the general undermining my policy” in a meeting McMaster attended
    • McMaster had complained about the use of the term “radical Islamic terrorism” in Trump’s speech to a Joint Session of Congress at the end of February, but the President emphasized each word of the phrase in the speech anyway; and
    • “McMaster did not accompany Trump to meet with Australia’s prime minister; the outgoing deputy national security adviser, K.T. McFarland, attended instead.”
  • On May 24, columnist Ken Timmerman charged that McMaster was squandering capital Trump earned in Saudi Arabia by claiming ISIS members were “not Islamic people.”
  • On May 25, the Israeli press said McMaster had been excluded from a meeting between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
  • On July 17, the New York Times reported that McMaster and others had recommended staying in the Iran Deal, and Trump had spent 55 minutes of the hour saying he didn’t want to.
  • On July 24, Politico reported that, “In a meeting described as a ‘s*** show’” in a heated debate in which “words were exchanged,” Trump rejected a new Afghanistan strategy spearheaded by McMaster. According to the report, “On key policy issues from Russia and NATO to the Iran deal, McMaster has recommended a more stay-the-course approach, only to find fierce pushback from Trump himself.”
  • On Aug. 3, Sara Carter at Circa broke the news that McMaster had allowed Obama National Security Council Director Susan Rice to keep her security clearance in spite of the unmasking scandal, sometime during the last week in April; and finally
  • On Aug. 9, the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) put out a devastating study of McMaster’s positions, recommending he be reassigned to an “area not dealing with Israel or Iran.”
