Drawing in a Moving Car

[By T.K Justin Ng in Canada] Last summer, I went on a road trip with a friend from Vancouver to Calgary. For our last day, we had to drive from Calgary back home. I did a quick drawing after breakfast and we began our long drive right after. I drove the first half of the day so I don't have a lot of footage from that. But Tristan and I switched places at Revelstoke, a nice little town in the Rocky Mountains.

I realized that I haven't bought a souvenir from this trip so I stopped at a convenience store to buy a sticker. This is almost a tradition for me, I have collected stickers from all over the world and stuck them on my sketchbooks.

No longer behind the wheel, the ride began to feel long and boring. I was trying to come up with something entertaining to do and my idea was to try sketch in a moving car. The lines I drew were less straight but other than that, it wasn't as hard as I expected. (It was a nicely paved road) I did have to take a break in between so that I wouldn't get dizzy.
