Trump Sets Date for Border Wall Construction to Begin
By Chris Agee
Despite receiving only a small fraction of the $25 billion he wanted for construction of a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico, President Donald Trump recently announced the project will begin within days.
During a hastily coordinated news conference Friday, he confirmed his intention to support a $1.3 trillion omnibus bill funding the nation’s government until September — despite the fact that it included just $1.6 billion for border fencing and repair.
As the Washington Examiner reported, Trump said work on the wall would begin “literally on Monday,” adding that there will be “a lot of money coming to the border.”
The decision to support the spending legislation followed a period of vacillation on the issue. After the White House expressed Trump’s intention to sign the bill earlier in the week, he tweeted Friday morning — just hours before a federal government shutdown was set to go into effect — that he was considering a presidential veto.

I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded.
8:55 AM - Mar 23, 2018
“I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded,” he wrote.
Days earlier, he tweeted a more supportive take on the funding, citing “$1.6 Billion to start Wall on Southern Border” and indicating that the “rest will be forthcoming.”
Trump heralded increased military spending in the bill as the main reason to support the measure.
In his comments Friday, however, he made it clear he was “not happy with the $1.6 billion for the wall.”
Trump went on to suggest that the earmarked spending will be used for construction of “some new wall” in addition to “fixing existing walls and existing fences,” though the bill he signed into law reportedly precludes such construction.
According to NBC News, wall construction received no funding in the omnibus bill.
As written, the money can be used to build and repair fencing that has already been approved and $38 million is set aside for preliminary work including wall design.
Trump called the funding an “initial down payment” on his campaign promise of building a wall along America’s southern border. During the 2016 presidential campaign, he frequently assured supporters that Mexico would foot the bill for its construction.
Earlier this year, he indicated that he still believes Mexico will “indirectly” pay for the wall through renegotiated trade agreements, as reported by CNBC.
“We make a good deal on NAFTA, and, say, I’m going to take a small percentage of that money and it’s going toward the wall,” he said. “Guess what? Mexico’s paying.”
Trump toured an area near the border in California this month where several border-wall prototypes are on display.
At that time, he declared installing such security measures would effectively eradicate illegal immigration into the U.S.
“We have a lousy wall over here now but at least it stops 90, 95 percent,” he said. “When we put up the real wall we’re going to stop 99 percent, maybe more than that.”

This resignation turned Robert Mueller’s investigation upside down
Robert Mueller’s investigation into Donald Trump just suffered a massive earthquake.
It’s all due to one resignation.
And this move will turn Mueller’s investigation upside down.
John Dowd announced he was resigning from Donald Trump’s legal team.
The move comes in the wake of Trump hiring Joseph diGenova, who has advocated that the FBI and Department of Justice framed Trump in the Russia investigation.
diGenova’s hiring shows Trump is ready to fight Mueller head on.
Dowd apparently disagreed with the change in strategy and resigned.
NBC News reports:
NBC News’ Kristen Welker reported on MSNBC on Thursday that the decision behind the departure was “mutual” between Trump and Dowd and came amid “a lot of discussion about a potential shake-up with the president’s legal team.”
Trump is looking to add to his team, Welker reported.
The departure also came amid “very sensitive negotiations” between the president’s legal team and the special counsel about a potential interview of Trump. The president said Thursday that he would like to talk to Mueller.
Dowd’s exit, coming just days after Trump hired Joseph diGenova — a longtime Washington lawyer and former U.S. attorney who has promoted a conspiracy theory that officials in the FBI and Justice Department are plotting to frame the president with a “false crime” — also signals that the president could be entering a more combative phase with the Mueller probe.
Trump supporters were thrilled to see the President take a more aggressive stance toward the special counsel.
After nearly ten months of Mueller’s witch hunt dragging his administration through the mud, the President finally attacked the special counsel by name over twitter.
That preceded Trump hiring diGenova and showed the President was going to shift gears with regards to how he handled Mueller.
Dowd did not agree with the strategy and resigned.
The ‘Blue Wave’ Hits a Cross-current in Early 2018 Votes
by JOEL B. POLLAK
For months, pundits — myself included — have been talking about the coming “Blue Wave,” an anticipated flood of Democratic voters in the 2018 midterm elections, shocked by Donald Trump’s election and enraged by his policies.
But the first important contests of 2018 have raised new questions about whether the “Blue Wave” is going to be as strong, or as solid, as was once thought.
In Texas, the first state to hold its 2018 primary, Democrats did, indeed, flock to the polls, roughly doubling their turnout from the last midterm elections in 2014.
But Republican candidates did very well: Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), for example, “received more votes in the 2018 Republican primary election than the entire turnout of voters in the Democratic primary.”
In the special election in Pennsylvania last week, Democrat Conor Lamb narrowly defeated State Representative Rick Saccone (R- Allegheny/Washington) in a district that Trump won by nearly 20 points in 2016.
But Lamb ran far to the right of his party, openly opposing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and supporting many of President Trump’s policies.
And in the Illinois primary this week, Democrats turned out in droves, but most of their “progressive” candidates failed. The loss that hurt the “Resistance” most was in the third congressional district, where pro-life Democrat Dan Lipinski hung on to defeat challenger Marie Newman by over 2,000 votes.
Meanwhile, on the Republican side, the conservative base showed signs of life as State Rep. Jeanne Ives (R-Wheaton) beat all the polls — including her own — and fell just short of knocking out incumbent Republican Governor Bruce Rauner, losing by just 2.8%.
In sum: Democrats are very enthusiastic to vote, but their left-wing candidates are not doing very well, while Republicans are still engaged.
That could mean trouble for Democrats in some places, such as Orange County, California, where Democrats are hoping to pick up U.S. House seats in Republican districts, but where the primaries might yield far-left challengers that cannot win in a general election.
Republicans faced a similar challenge in 2010, when they could have taken the Senate, but nominated a mixed bag of anti-establishment candidates, some of whom were not quite ready for prime time. The GOP re-lived that debacle on a smaller scale in U.S. Senate races in Missouri and Indiana in 2012, and in Alabama’s special election in 2017.
But there is also something else happening this year. Democrats are favored to win the House, with Nancy Pelosi — bizarrely, and incredibly — poised to reclaim the Speaker’s gavel, despite all the talk of internal revolt. Her party has led in “generic ballot” polls, except in the weeks after their botched effort to shutdown the government.
Yet the GOP will probably expand its majority in the Senate, as Republicans now lead in five states where Democrats are up for re-election and where Trump won in 2016. President Trump’s approval ratings are also rising as the tax cuts kick in, and as extraordinary talks with North Korea come together.
What all of this means is that the “Blue Wave” of 2018 in the House could be accompanied by a “Red Wave” cross-current in the Senate. Both parties could score big on November 6, on different sides of Capitol Hill. And that, in turn, reflects underlying demographic and political changes.
Democrats are gaining traction in suburban areas, where moderate Republicans once held sway. Trump’s tax cuts, ironically, have helped that process along, because the new cap on the state and local tax (SALT) deduction is hitting Republicans in high-tax blue states.
Meanwhile, Republicans are gaining in the Rust Belt, thanks almost entirely to Trump’s economic policies, which are focused on the blue-collar workers Democrats once took for granted. Trump has shrewdly focused his governance on those crucial regions, thinking not only of 2018, but also of repeating his 2016 triumph in the Upper Midwest in 2020.
And Americans continue to vote with their feet, with homeowners and small business owners — who tend to vote Republican — leaving blue states for warmer, more affordable red ones.
The country continues to polarize. But there is also a political realignment going on, where moderate Republicans and Democrats are essentially switching sides.
No one can tell how long that realignment will last. Blue-collar workers switched back to the Democratic Party in Pennsylvania’s special election. And Democrats, too, are fleeing high-tax blue states for low-tax red ones, turning them purple.
But in the short term, Americans may elect a Congress that is sharply split — even more so than it was under Barack Obama.
That outcome is not guaranteed. There is still a long way to go until November. And President Trump would certainly prefer not to lose the House.
Still, if there is any arrangement that would play directly to his skill set and reputation as a deal-maker, it would be one in which polar opposites have to sit down together to govern the country.
Ironically, a president whose election further divided America would then be well-placed to stitch it back together.

House Ethics Committee Hits Gutierrez With Legal Ramifications
The House Ethics Committee announced two Illinois Democrats were in violation of chamber rules Thursday, ordering they both pay back thousands of dollars to the government for their actions.
Illinois Democrat Reps. Bobby Rush and Luis Gutierrez were both formally reproved by the Ethics Committee on the same day, but for separate violations. Both cases were first investigated by the Office of Congressional Ethics and found “substantial reason to believe” Rush and Gutierrez had violated House rules, Politico reported.
Gutierrez paid a former staffer, Doug Scofield, for a decade out of his official congressional account, although he was not working for Gutierrez.
Scofield was instead doing consultant work for the Democrat congressman but was being paid with government money.
Gutierrez now has to personally repay the Treasury Department $9,700 for improper payments to the former aide. The committee did find Gutierrez’s actions unintentional.
“The Ethics Committee concluded, as I did, that any misuse of funds was ‘inadvertent’ and done with the approval of Committee on House Administration and the Office of House Finance,” Gutierrez said in a statement.
“I am glad this review is resolved and that the Ethics Committee exonerated me of any willful or intentional wrongdoing. After five years the Ethics Committee came to the same conclusion I reached in 2013 when this was first brought to my attention.”
Rush was found in violation for accepting the use of free office space in Chicago. The committee ruled that Rush must personally repay the rental company over $14,600.
The announcement comes as it was reported that Rush would lose 15 percent of his salary due to repayment of the more than $1 million he owes for making a delinquent loan for a church he started in Chicago.
Cook County Circuit Judge Alexander White ordered the garnishment of more than $2,100 a month from Rush’s annual $174,000 salary in early March.
Rush, who has served in Congress for 25 years, was ordered to pay back the original $550,000 June 2005 loan that New City Bank granted him and seven other co-signers.
Rush bought a church in Englewood, Chicago, with the loan money. The order came after the church stopped making its monthly payments in November 2011, causing creditors to sue the Democrat congressman.
“Following its investigation, the Committee concluded that the rent-free office space was a gift to Representative Rush, which he accepted in violation of House rules and federal law,” the Ethics report stated.
“The Committee unanimously found that Representative Rush must repay the value of the impermissible gift, amend his Financial Disclosure statements to reflect the gift, and either vacate the office space or commence paying for the space within six weeks of the publication of this Report.”
The committee did not specify how long the Illinois congressmen have to repay the money they owe to the federal government.
The Truth About the Student Gun Control March Is Not as It Seems
Democrats from nearby states are busing adults and students to Washington, D.C., for the student gun control control march Saturday.
Pro-gun-control students at Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School organized the march in response to the mass shooting at their school in February.
Teacher’s unions and progressive groups including Women’s March and Planned Parenthood helped the students organize the march just days after the shooting.
Democratic groups in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia are bolstering the march’s numbers as well by busing supporters into D.C. for the protest.
Maryland Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin is hosting a pre-march rally in his district, then busing supporters over to the D.C. march, Bethesda Magazine reported.
“Please join me and dozens of other Members of Congress on Saturday, March 24 at the ‘March for Our Lives’ in D.C. with thousands of Maryland high school students and Emma Gonzalez, David Hogg and all the grieving young people coming up from Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida,” Raskin wrote in a Facebook event for the march.
Democratic Maryland Rep. John Delaney, who is already running for president in 2020, is listed as a “special guest” in promotions for Trone’s event.
Baltimore‘s Democrat mayor, Catherine Pugh, is using taxpayer funds to bus up to 3,000 students to the march, The Washington Post reported. The city will provide T-shirts and lunches for the students.
Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is leading a Democratic group in nearby Arlington to the D.C. march, Arlington Democrats announced in a press release. “Led by former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, Arlington Democrats will march in solidarity from Memorial Bridge to the March for Our Lives!” The press release states. The group plans on bringing banners.
Other Democratic groups in the state are also bringing supporters to the march. A group in Rockingham plans on filling two buses.
In Pennsylvania, the Columbia County Democratic Committee sold out its bus to D.C. Another Democratic group in the state did so as well.
New York’s Southold Town Democratic Committee is sponsoring a bus trip to D.C. Staten Island’s North Shore Democratic Club is rallying people too. Other Democratic groups in the state are sponsoring buses for students who want to attend.

What if 20 Million Illegal Aliens Vacated America? I, Tina Griego, journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News wrote a column titled, "Mexican Visitor's Lament."
I interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while visiting Denver last week. Hernandez said, "Illegal aliens pay rent, buy groceries, buy clothes. What happens to your country's economy if 20 million people go away?"
Hmmm, I thought, what would happen?
So I did my due diligence, buried my nose as a reporter into the FACTS I found below.
It's a good question... it deserves an honest answer. Over 80% of Americans demand secure borders. What would happen if all 20 million or more vacated America? This may surprise you!

In California, if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico, it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems, bankrupt hospitals and overrun prisons. It would leave highways cleaner, safer and less congested. Everyone could understand one another as English became the dominant language again.
It means 12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone. Colorado would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the terror that those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver Officer Don Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered death, accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.
Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67% dropout/flunk rate because of thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages. Denver's 4% unemployment rate would vanish as our working poor would gain jobs at a living wage.
In Chicago, Illinois, 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals, schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free experience.
If 20 million illegal aliens returned 'home,' the U.S. economy would return to the rule of law. Employers would hire legal American citizens at a living wage. Everyone would pay their fair share of taxes because they wouldn't be working off the books. That would result in an additional $401 billion in IRS income taxes collected annually, and an equal amount for local, state and city coffers.
No more confusion in American schools that now must contend with over 100 languages that degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded schools would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.
We would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of more than $1.6 billion annually. That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country.
In cities like L.A., 20,000 members of the ' 18th Street Gang' would vanish from our nation. No more Mexican forgery gangs for ID theft from Americans! No more foreign rapists and child molesters!
America 's economy is drained. Taxpayers are harmed. Employers get rich. Over $80 billion annually wouldn't return to the aliens' home countries by cash transfers. Illegal migrants earned half that money untaxed, which further drains America's economy which currently suffers a $20 trillion debt. $20 trillion debt!!!
At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing us $109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in California, Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being bankrupt out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act.
Americans wouldn't suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our country - brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders. Our cities would see 20 million less people driving, polluting and grid locking our cities' greenhouse gases.
Over one million of Mexico's poorest citizens now live inside and along our border from Brownsville, Texas, to San Diego, California, in what the New York Times called, 'colonias' or new neighborhoods. Trouble is, those living areas resemble Bombay and Calcutta where grinding poverty, filth, diseases, drugs, crimes, no sanitation and worse. They live without sewage, clean water, streets, roads, electricity, or any kind of sanitation.
The New York Times reported them to be America's new ' Third World ' inside our own country. Within 20 years, at their current growth rate, they expect 20 million residents of those colonias. (I've seen them personally in Texas and Arizona; it's sickening beyond anything you can imagine.)
We already invite a million people into our country legally/annually, more than all other countries combined- with growing anarchy at our borders.
It's time to stand up for our country, our culture, our civilization and our way of life. Interesting Statistics below!
Here are 13 reasons illegal aliens should vacate America, and I hope they are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them:

Welcome John Bolton
By Dick Morris
Now, we are getting somewhere!
President Trump’s decision to replace General H.R. McMaster with former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton is a terrific choice. His toughness and clarity of vision are remarkable. He rejects appeasement and will not let facile optimism deter him from the course he knows to be sensible and correct.
His understanding of real politick is profound and he has a no-nonsense view of the world. He is the opposite of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
At the U.N., Bolton excelled not only in speaking out for the United States but in working to cleanse the institution of its invidious corruption.
He also worked very hard to expose graft and to create a genuine prosecutor’s office in the U.N. organization. When the son of Secretary General Kofi Annan was implicated in corruption connected with the Iraqi Food for Peace program, he was quick to expose the wrongdoing and to demand reforms.
His reputation — as a hard-charging advocate — was formed by his uncompromising commitment to integrity and justice and his unvarnished advocacy for the U.S.
Bolton is just the kind of man Ronald Reagan would have appointed.
Unfortunately, the combination of Rex Tillerson as secretary of state and McMaster as national security adviser forced President Trump to operate with a team that would have better suited a president like George H.W. Bush or even Jimmy Carter. These men, and the people they brought with them to their jobs, smack of appeasement and American weakness.
Now that Trump has his real supporters in these key positions — Mike Pompeo and John Bolton — he is prepared for aggressive confrontations with Iran and North Korea, and for strong measures to get our allies in line behind us.
But they cannot do the job alone. The State Department is filled to the brim with appeasement-oriented bureaucrats put there under Hillary and Obama.
While Trump has moved to replace most of them, the Democrats in the Senate are sitting on their hands, stringing out the confirmation process as long as they can.
The Democrats are not objecting to the Trump nominees, nor can they block them. But they are using every second of the 30 hours of debate they are allowed once the nominations are brought to the floor.
Eric Ueland, for example, was appointed by Trump to be the new under secretary of state for management almost a year ago. He has twice been approved by the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, once in 2017 and again 2018, but his nomination has yet to be brought to the floor.
The Senate agenda is so crowded with endless “debate” on uncontroversial nominees that Trump cannot get his people in place.
More and more senators are demanding that the Senate rules eliminate the mini-filibuster these lengthy confirmation debates entail. Particularly now, with the game afoot with Iran and North Korea, Trump needs his people in their new offices. The Senate should change its rules to allow them to be confirmed at once.

Robert Mueller Wrongfully Convicted and Imprisoned 4 Men for Crime They Did Not Commit
When a special counsel is called, we would hope that person’s record as a prosecutor would be impeccable.
That is not the case with Mueller, though, as Sean Hannity reported Mueller once put four men behind bars for a crime they did not commit.
Mueller Always Gets His Man… Even When They Aren’t Guilty
The case in question took place back in the 1980s.
Mueller was in Boston, serving as the Assistant US Attorney.
A special counsel (sound familiar) was in charge of investigating the case and sent the four men to jail for murder, a crime they would be later be exonerated for.
Sadly, for two of the men, that was far too late, as they died in prison.
Ties to Corruption
If you have ever seen the movie “The Departed,” you are familiar with the case in question.
Whitey Bulger, a notorious criminal in Boston at the time, was serving as an FBI informant.
Bulger was more or less given free rein in the city to do as he pleased in exchange for information.
However, Bulger was leading the FBI on a wild goose chase and serving up people he wanted out of the way for crimes he was committing.
As it is now well documented, the ties from Bulger’s criminal empire to the US Attorney’s office and the local FBI ran deep and wide.
This Is the Man Investigating the President?
With his checkered past, this is the man that has been chosen to investigate collusion with the Russians during the 2016 presidential election.
If anything, Mueller is the one that should be investigated!
