Trump Poll Bump Has Some in MSM Regretting CNN-ization of News
by JOHN NOLTE

Let’s face it — our elitist media had a very bad weekend. To fully delight in just how demoralized they all are today, we must first imagine their gleeful sense anticipation on Friday afternoon — like spoiled children on the day of their birthday party thinking only of ponies: “Stock market dives on Friday – yay! Anti-gun march Saturday – yessss! Stormy arrives Sunday – squeeel!! New polls on Trump’s job approval numbers Monday – whoo-hoo!”
And then…
Ker-splat.
Ker-splat.
Saturday’s attendance at the anti-gun march was, to say the least, quite underwhelming, especially when you consider all the energy our unbiased, objective media spent advertising it. The fallout from the march was even worse.
On Sunday, the super-hyped 60 Minutes interview with Stormy Daniels fizzled, landed with such a dud that is all anyone talked about Monday. The 21 million viewers might have delivered the newsmagazine its best night in a decade, but it was still way less than half of the 49 million who tuned in to see Monica Lewinsky’s 1999 interview.
A near-record day for the stock market.
To add insult to injury, last week, between the media’s porn-porn-porn-gungrab-gungrab-gungrab, they told us that President McStupidCrazyRacist had just launched a disastrous trade war and the apocalypse what nigh.
Oh, and all the polls taken during the Stormy-era show the Republican Party in much better shape to house the House.
Oops.
The CNN-ization of the entire news media, this Zucker-ification against Trump that focuses only on nonsense and left-wing activism, has failed so hard, some within the media are actually wondering if the media should not focus more, say, issues the public actually cares about.
Amy Walter of the Cook Report tweeted Tuesday, “One reason why media gets low ratings: non-stop coverage of Stormy Daniels, little to none on top issue for Americans – health care/p. drug cost and access. Which one do you think matters more to their day to day lives?”

The National Journal’s Josh Kraushaar followed up with a “wonder” of his own — a wonder that wondered if the media ignoring the GOP’s “policy vulnerabilities” can explain all this wonder.
“[W]onder if all this Stormy Daniels talk HELPS Republicans — contrary to the CW of this week. Lots of people watching, but is anyone surprised at all about the salacious details alleged? And less talk about actual policy vulnerabilities,” he tweeted.
This is my contrarian side speaking, but wonder if all this Stormy Daniels talk HELPS Republicans -- contrary to the CW of this week. And less talk about actual policy vulnerabilities. https://twitter.com/amyewalter/status/978374214297247744 …
The other night, I succumbed to temptation. I lapped up every second of 60 Minutes’ Stormy Daniels interview, just like 20 million Americans and countless others around the world. My only regret was that there wasn’t more, which might explain why the ratings dropped off so precipitously. Once Daniels had made her exit, who needed to keep watching? The show started with a climax, so to speak, and went down from there.
I left the program feeling deflated. But it wasn’t because the interview disappointed. It was because I’d bought into the argument that it mattered in the first place, that everything to do with Daniels is Real News.
Real News is what’s going on in Syria and Yemen and Saudi Arabia and Iran. Real News is the hundreds of thousands of students who demonstrated in favor of gun control. Real News is the horror that 700,000-plus DACA kids may face if the government deports them. Real News is a budget that was just passed, with such token coverage by the broadcast media that I couldn’t even tell you what was in it.
Behind the scenes in MediaBubbleLand, there is no doubt that many Media Provincials are privately licking wounds and wondering the same.
But does anyone think we would see all this second guessing and sudden concern over The Issues That Matter To The American People if this weekend had not spectacularly backfired, had Trump’s approval rating done what the far-left CNN was expecting — dropped seven points to 28 percent as opposed to climbing eight points to 43 percent?
Our disgraced media seem to have forgotten four things…
1) The impossible-to-shame media’s partisan hypocrisy on the issue of personal matters. Former-President Bill Clinton was all about extra-marital affairs, even while president in the Oval Office. The media protected him, and protected him even more when he was credibly accused of harassment (Paula Jones won a judgment and $850,000), groping (by a Democrat), and even rape.
But now the media are freaking out because a man who has never presented himself as our moral savior might have had two consensual affairs 12 freakin’ years ago?
Please.
2) When the Republican Party went hard after Clinton over his private life, his job approval numbers also improved. The public does not like what they see as politically-motivated moral witch hunts.
3) It’s the economy, you stupes. While the media try to create a moral panic over something as dumb as a consensual boink 12 years ago, as the media’s wild-eyed conspiracy theories about Russian collusion collapse into a pile of Obama/FBI scandals, Trump has kept his eye on the ball, has done his job, and now his economy has inspired confidence, real job growth, and economic growth.
4) CNN is a last-place ratings catastrophe and a national laughingstock. Why would any sane news outlet follow the lead of a proven failure?
The good news is that there is no coming back for the media. As a moral authority, as a swayer of public opinion, the institution is deceased through an act of credibility-suicide.
Watchdog Group Releases Previously Withheld Clinton-Lynch Tarmac Meeting Documents
Just how much influence did the Clintons have with Lynch’s Justice Department and James Comey?
According to a just released report from Judicial Watch, the FBI hid documents pertaining to the now infamous tarmac meeting between Bill Clinton and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
Rather than worry about the actual content of the meeting, the FBI was far more concerned with the meeting itself being leaked.
Comey Late to the Party
Comey himself is made to appear to be nothing more than a figurehead in these documents.
If the report is accurate, Comey was never informed of the meeting.
He actually only found out Lynch was meeting with Bill Clinton when the news media reported it.
What Is the FBI Hiding?
When initial inquiries were made about the documents pertaining to the meeting, the FBI said it could not locate them.
After the FOIA lawsuit was filed, though, the documents magically appeared and offer some rather disturbing information about both the meeting and the FBI’s attitude about it.
Judicial Watch reported there were in fact documents between the FBI and the Justice Department discussing that very meeting.
In fact, there were specific statements made about Bill Clinton’s “maneuvering” so he could be on the tarmac at the same time as Lynch.
But, rather than being worried about the topic of discussion and if any laws were being violated, they were concerned about a reporter publishing the story.
One email stated, “we need to find that guy” referring the reporter, and they needed to do so soon “in an attempt to stem any further damage.”
The Timing of It All
As you may recall, it was not long after the meeting Hillary was found to have done no wrong.
We later found out that Comey had in fact written her letter of innocence months before the conclusion of the investigation.
Many believe Bill Clinton was putting pressure on Lynch to have the email investigation against Hillary Clinton closed.
She then, in turn, put pressure on Comey to exonerate her and close the investigation.
The timing of these events is just far too convenient for something shady not to have taken place. When Lynch meets Clinton on June 27 and Comey exonerates Hillary on July 5, you don’t have to be a law enforcement expert to see that something unscrupulous happened.
Trump Letter Surfaces, Believed to Prove Trump Sneaked Wall Funding into Spending Bill
BY BEN MARQUIS
When President Donald Trump signed the “ridiculous” and massive $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill on Friday, he himself decried the “wasteful spending” and “giveaways” to Democrats that had been tucked into the legislation while he also vowed to never sign another bill like it.
Many conservatives were also incensed at the obscene spending bill, most notably due to continued taxpayer funding for abortion provider Planned Parenthood and sanctuary cities, but also because it seemed like Democrats completely blocked Trump’s efforts at building a wall to secure the southern border, granting him a paltry $1.6 billion to repair existing border fences.
The lone obvious bright spot of the spending bill was the ample funding — more than had been requested actually — for the military, which Trump repeatedly made note of.
But while many set their hair on fire and appeared to jump off the Trump train in dismay as Democrats cheerfully crowed about how they had stymied a major part of Trump’s agenda, others kept a level head and began to dig deep among the 2,200-plus pages — and all referenced statutes mentioned therein — in search of some hidden reason why the president had signed this bloated spending bill into law instead of sending it back with a veto.
That search was bolstered somewhat by a letter sent on Saturday from the White House to both chambers of Congress which cited a specific statute from the funds-governing 1985 Budget Control Act in relation to a specific section of the new spending bill and declared that certain funding had been designated as an “emergency requirement,” which some believe grants the president legal authority to shift funds around and prioritize spending — or even not spend at all — certain funds in relation to declared emergencies, in this case specifically as they pertain to national defense.
Thus, theories began to circulate that Trump had somehow snuck funding for the oft-promised border wall past the not-so-watchful eyes of arrogantly ignorant Democrats — and a few establishment Republicans — opposed to his agenda who didn’t bother to carefully read the bill … as if they even had time to do so if they wanted to, perhaps by cynical design of both sides.
Consider that the New York Post reported that during the signing ceremony on Friday, Trump had stated, “I want to address the situation on border security, which I call national defense. I call it stopping drugs from pouring across our border. And I call it illegal immigration. It’s all of those things.”
“But national defense is a very important two words,” he added. “Because by having a strong border system, including a wall, we are in a position, militarily, that is very advantageous.”
Then Trump tweeted on Sunday, “Because of the $700 & $716 Billion Dollars gotten to rebuild our Military, many jobs are created and our Military is again rich. Building a great Border Wall, with drugs (poison) and enemy combatants pouring into our Country, is all about National Defense. Build WALL through M!”

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 25, 2018
That has been understood by some to insinuate that Trump intended to immediately begin to build the border wall by way of the military with use of military funding — most likely through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers — as he has previously declared the drug problem to be a “national health emergency” and specified border security as part of “national defense.”

That has been understood by some to insinuate that Trump intended to immediately begin to build the border wall by way of the military with use of military funding — most likely through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers — as he has previously declared the drug problem to be a “national health emergency” and specified border security as part of “national defense.”
Furthermore, an article from July 2017 by U.S. News and World Report — which probably garnered minimal attention when initially published — began to circulate online again which seemed to lend credence to the theory that Trump would use military funding and the Corps of Engineers to construct the border wall.
That article lamented how the House Rules Committee had quietly adopted an amendment to the Department of Defense appropriations bill for Fiscal Year 2018 which struck out language inserted by the House Armed Services Committee that had specifically prohibited Defense funds from being used for border wall construction, thus allowing for those same funds to now be shifted toward the “national defense” priority of border security.
To be sure, there is admittedly a fair bit of speculation involved in the theories that Trump will use the military and Pentagon funding to construct the border wall, and it is possible that Trump and the Department of Homeland Security really are limited funding-wise on border wall construction for the moment.
That said, there are those who sincerely believe that Trump really is the self-proclaimed “very stable genius” who somehow manages to stay a step or two ahead of those opponents intent on tripping him up and stopping his agenda.
If true, then it is highly likely that Trump did indeed figure out a way to side-step the obstructionists in Congress with a clever plan to legally divert military funding toward the border wall, for “national defense” and “emergency” purposes.
We will now await the weeping and gnashing of teeth from Democrats once they realize how Trump just pulled a fast one on them.
Megyn Kelly Compares Herself To Porn Star Stormy Daniels
The liberal media has been busy furiously leveraging Stormy Daniels’ accusations in a futile attempt to take down President Donald Trump, but NBC black sheep Megyn Kelly took a different angle Sunday when she used Daniels to leverage herself.
During her interview on CBS’ “60 Minutes” Sunday night, Daniels described a harrowing interaction with “a man in a parking lot” who threatened her when she first considered going public with her alleged sexual relationship with Trump:
“I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter,” Daniels told Anderson Cooper. “A guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.’ And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.’ And then he was gone.”
It’s unknown who allegedly threatened Daniels, but Kelly thought the exchange “sounded familiar” to an encounter she had with former Trump campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski. So, of course, Kelly decided to tweet about it – and plug her book in the process.
Kelly shared an excerpt from her book, “Settle For More,” in which she claimed that Lewandowski tried to threaten her into no-showing the second Fox News presidential debate. “Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, made a phone call to Bill Sammon and tried to get me booted off the debate team,” Kelly wrote. “When Sammon told him that was out of the question, Lewandowski threatened me, saying I’d had a ‘rough couple of days after that last debate,’ and he ‘would hate to have [me] go through that again.’ The tone was unmistakable.”
Oh, Megyn. Your narcissism is showing.
This is ridiculous. Not only has Kelly made Daniels’ claims all about herself, but she also inadvertently implicated Lewandowski as the man who threatened Daniels and her infant daughter in a parking lot. That’s not an accusation to throw around lightly, and it’s certainly not something an upstanding, unbiased journalist would do.
Planned Parenthood: ‘We Need a Disney Princess Who’s Had an Abortion’
by DR. SUSAN BERRY
The Pennsylvania affiliate of Planned Parenthood tweeted – and then deleted – its statement announcing its wishes for a Disney princess who has had an abortion and who satisfies the left’s fantasy of identity politics.

The Wrap notes the tweet was deleted about two hours after it was posted. The social media screed did not go unnoticed, however.
The entire tweet was captured before its deletion by Alex Pfeiffer, associate producer for Tucker Carlson Tonight.
The tweet comes as many congressional Republicans and President Donald Trump broke their promise to their pro-life base by agreeing to provide taxpayer funds in the omnibus spending bill to Planned Parenthood – an organization that profits from abortion and is under a federal investigation due to allegations it illegally profits from the sale of body parts of babies aborted in its clinics.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said he voted against the omnibus, in part, because, “It continues to fund Planned Parenthood, a corrupt organization whose horrifying abortion practices should preclude it from receiving taxpayer dollars”:
The disastrous elements of this bill are almost too numerous to list.
It continues to fund Planned Parenthood, a corrupt organization whose horrifying abortion practices should preclude it from receiving taxpayer dollars.
Planned Parenthood receives some $500 million in taxpayer funding every year through Medicaid and Title X grants for family planning.
Vatican on High Security Alert, Rome Is Targeted by ‘Jihadist Propaganda’
by THOMAS D. WILLIAMS, PH.D.

Vatican security is on high alert as large crowds arrive for Holy Week and Easter, with Italy’s security chief confirming the existence of “looming threats” that warrant extra caution.
Franco Gabrielli, the head of Italian police, assured Pope Francis on Monday that the men and women of the police force “will continue to guarantee the security of this holy see and of your person, and of this great and extraordinary city of Rome, the seat of Christianity, which is targeted by terrorist and jihadist propaganda as a symbol to strike.”
There is nothing to convince us that “the threat has passed,” Gabrielli told the pope. Rather, “the threat is looming, but the men and women of the police will form a bulwark against all the evil that surrounds us,” he said.
Gabrielli was received at the Vatican by the pope, together with the men and women of the police detail whose job it is to protect the pope as well as the pilgrims who visit Vatican City.
Vatican security has been at a very high level for some time, but the police chief confirmed that serious threats make it impossible to loosen security measures at the Vatican, which is preparing to celebrate Holy Week and Easter rituals with a massive presence of the faithful.
For his part, Pope Francis repeatedly thanked the agents who spend their days to ensure his safety and that of the citizens and pilgrims.
Addressing them in the Vatican’s Sala Clementina Monday, the pope also made explicit reference to terrorist threats.
“Sometimes it makes a little sad when I go out and see you working, and I think these people are sacrificing themselves to guard the pope, to guard the people, to make sure there is not some madman trying something, some massacre that would ruin so many families,” Francis said.
The pope thanked the Vatican police, comparing them to “guardian angels,” before distributing medals of Saint Joseph, venerated as the guardian and foster father of Jesus.
“Thanks to your discreet and effective surveillance, the pilgrims who come to visit the tomb of the Apostle Peter from every part of the world have the opportunity to live this important experience of faith with tranquility,” the pope said.
Special security measures will be in place throughout the Italian capital beginning on Thursday and extending through the Easter celebrations.
Demonstrations and marches are banned throughout the entire historic center of the city, along with the Vatican and the Colosseum, where the pope will preside over by the traditional Via Crucis (stations of the cross) on Friday evening.

President Trump Vows – Second Amendment Will Never Be Repealed
In a resounding defense of the Constitutional right to bear arms, President Trump took to social media this morning and vowed – in all caps – that “The Second Amendment will never be repealed!”
Trump was responding to an op-ed written in the New York Times by former Supreme Court Justice John Stevens in which he argued for total repeal of the Second Amendment.
“The demonstrators should seek more effective and more lasting reform,” he said of those far-left gun grabbers marching for attention. “They should demand a repeal of the Second Amendment.”
Not on his watch, according to the President.
“The Second Amendment will never be repealed!” he wrote. “As much as Democrats would like to see this happen, and despite the words yesterday of former Supreme Court Justice Stevens, NO WAY.”
Trump added, accurately, that “We need more Republicans in 2018 and must ALWAYS hold the Supreme Court!”
It is a welcome reassurance after the President remained largely silent on the matter while Democrat student activists called on gun control, gun bans, and gun confiscation during their anti-Constitutional “March For Our Lives.”
Trump’s words are far more firm in their delivery than we’ve seen in the past.
Earlier this month, the President stunned conservatives by saying, “Take the guns first, go through due process second.”
It was a statement which would not only be a violation of an American’s Second Amendment rights, but their Fifth Amendment right to due process.
Stevens meanwhile, was on the losing end of a Supreme Court battle in which he wanted the Second Amendment to allow for greater gun control.
In a 2008 ruling, the high court held that the Second Amendment gives individuals the right to own a gun for self-defense. And that will never be repealed.
Media Shocked by Latest Trump Poll Numbers!

No President in the history of our nation has faced such withering criticism from the media as President Trump. Since the day he was elected to lead us, the President has faced a constant barrage of negativity, hypocrisy, scandal, and hatred. At times the situation has been almost unbearable, and today many Americans are simply exhausted at the constantly negative coverage the President receives.
Read here, here, here, here and here to see some of the proof that media is irrevocably biased and incontrovertibly corrupt.

According to several studies the media has also covered the President in an incredibly biased manner. 90%+ of the broadcast media’s reporting on Trump and his administration has been… NEGATIVE.
The new study of major broadcast coverage reveals that 90 percent of statements made by reporters and nonpartisan sources the last three months on ABC, NBC and CBS evening newscasts about Mr. Trump and his administration were negative…
“Even as the media whine about about Trump, their hostile coverage shows no let up. Our study of news in June, July and August found an identical rate of 91 percent negative coverage — which means TV news is unchanged in its hostility toward the president,” Mr. Noyes said.
Pew Research adds that over his first year in office, the media coverage of Trump has been mostly negative. From the information they’ve gathered, we see that more than 60% of the mainstream media coverage of President Trump has been negative!
To put that into perspective they drew up this handy-dandy little chart:
Yes, President Obama’s coverage was only 20% negative and and more than 40% positive.
The reality is that from the very beginning the media has done its very best to undermine the Trump administration.
The media’s coverage of President Trump has been overwhelmingly negative, more than three times more critical than the initial coverage of former President Barack Obama and twice that of former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
The Pew Research Center said that the early coverage of Trump was 62 percent negative. By comparison, Obama’s coverage was just 20 percent negative.
Pew’s research found that the media is overwhelmingly anti-Trump and that they’ve treated him in a far more biased manner than they did any of his recent predecessors.
“About six-in-ten stories on Trump’s early days in office had a negative assessment, about three times more than in early coverage for Obama and roughly twice that of Bush and Clinton. Coverage of Trump’s early time in office moved further away from a focus on the policy agenda and more toward character and leadership,” Pew said.
