Texas Senate Primaries Have Been CALLED; Here Are The Results…Ted Cruz Romps…
As you know, 2018 is a HUGE year for politics because we have the Midterms in November and the race is heating up big time.
Today, Texas held their primaries for Governor and the Senate seats, and here’s how it all shook out.
The big winners of the night were Republican Ted Cruz and Democrat Beto O’Rourke, who swept their respective primary races against their counterparts. These two will now face off against each other in November for the Texas Senate seat.

As of right now, Ted Cruz has nearly 100,000 more votes than ALL of the Democrat candidates combined, so he is in a great position to destroy the Democrats in November!

In fact, the Catholic priest apparently did a lot more than preaching at the two parishes he led in rural Tuscany where he earned the nickname “Don Euro” and where he now faces charges for fraud, embezzlement, drug dealing, extortion, and money laundering.
His impropriety was first exposed after a male escort named Francesco Mangiacapra discovered that the consensual sex-for-hire relationship he had with Morini, who he thought was a high-powered judge, was not quite what it seemed. Mangiacapra, who trained as a lawyer but who apparently found the male-escort business more profitable, had made the discovery quite by chance, when he recognized his high-dollar client in priest garb.
He says he then began to wonder how a simple priest could afford such expensive dinners and gifts as his favorite client bestowed on him. A devout Catholic himself, Mangiacapra says he was worried that Father Morini was dipping into the collection plate and duly reported his suspicions to the diocese of Massa Carrara-Pontremoli in Tuscany. But only after a local investigative television show caught Morini snorting cocaine, lounging at a gay spa, and kissing other gay men did they suspend him due to an undisclosed illness, according to several conservative Catholic websites. He was then reportedly tucked away inside a private villa for rehabilitation and is not attending his own criminal trial.
The experience with the double-life priest was not isolated, and Mangiacapra soon learned that most of his clients who were friends of the priest were also members of the clergy, and that he’d somehow found himself quite unexpectedly the favorite boy toy in a gay-priest sex ring. He did what any self-serving male prostitute might do and started researching a book about it called Il Numero Uno. Confessioni di un Marchettaro (The Number One. Confessions of a Prostitute) based on WhatsApp messages, screenshots, and videos of various priests in compromising positions.
But the church, it seemed, didn’t pay much attention to the book, which was published last March, so Mangiacapra brought it to the attention of various high-ranking cardinals by compiling his raw research into a 1,200-page dossier focused on nearly 40 priests across Italy that he took to the archdiocese of Naples, led by Cardinal Cresenzio Sepe, who decided to act and sent the dossier straight to the Vatican. Sepe told Corriere della Sera that Naples “didn’t enter into it” and that none of the gay priests were Neapolitan. “Our diocese was used like a post office,” he said. “We just delivered the message to Rome.”
The Italian equivalent of Drudge Report, Dagospia, was allegedly able to see some of the dossier from which it published various excerpts, including screenshots of messages. Several show what appear to be “dick pics” of priests with messages about where and how they wanted to have sex with each other and the escorts. In one, an apparent priest invites the escort along to an ordination, after which they would have sex nearby. The message ends with “see you later, I’ll tell you when the mass is.”
Mangiacapra says he means no harm to the church. “I want to explain right away that mine is not a gesture that goes against the Catholic Church, indeed, it is paradoxically in its favor,” he said in an interview with Catania Today, which also published a screenshot of an exchange in which one priest sent him a naked picture in front of the bell and asked if he liked his penis.
“My book and the content of the file that I delivered in Naples is to bring to light the reality clearly in contradiction to the obligations imposed by the cassock,” he says.
The escort says the gay priests primarily used Telegram, a preferred service with a number of gay priest chat groups where clergy can find escorts and other priests in their areas. He said the priests paid “hundreds of euro” and seemingly had no qualms about the premium prices. Mangiacapra says he wants the errant priests to be more honest about their sexuality.
“We are talking about sins, not crimes,” he said. “I only want this out so that these people will stop preaching hatred towards gays.”
Now that Cardinal Sepe has pushed the dossier to the Vatican, Mangiacapra told Catania Today that he will get out of prostitution, having grown tired of the “indignity of selling my body.”
“I did it for the health of the church. We are talking about bad apples which, in my opinion, should be reduced to the lay state not to be punished but to have the opportunity to come into contact and reconcile with their own homosexuality,” he said. “As a person who enjoys sexual freedom, I do not condemn the homosexuality of the priests: Homosexuality is not a crime, what is condemned is the incoherence of these priests.”

FiveThirtyEight Editor-in-Chief Nate Silver took to Twitter to shred the theory the Democrats have already won the House in 2018. He referenced the nearly all pollsters predicting Hillary Clinton to take down Donald Trump.
In response to an Axios article titled “Democrats may have already won the House,” Nate Silver dropped some massive truth bombs on Twitter.
“Seems like people haven’t learned too much from 2016,” Silver tweeted. “Democrats are modest favorites to win the House, but not particularly heavy ones; less than Clinton was in Nobember 2016, and that race was much more competitive than news accounts implied.”

He gave Hillary Clinton a 71.4% chance of winning the Presidency.

Special Counsel Targets Top Trump Aide
Mueller's office must have a lot of time on their hands, because they are so busy getting to the bottom of the Russia collusion matter that they determined that a top Trump Aide violated the Hatch Act from watching old footage of Fox News. The Washington Examiner reports:
"The U.S. Office of Special Counsel determined White House counselor Kellyanne Conway violated the Hatch Act during two television interviews during which she discussed why voters should support Republican Roy Moore over Democrat Doug Jones in the Alabama special Senate election. The office announced Tuesday it sent an investigative report to President Trump detailing its findings. Special counsel Henry Kerner said in a letter to the president he is referring Conway’s Hatch Act violations to him for 'consideration of appropriate disciplinary action.'
Conway’s first violation occurred during a Nov. 20 interview on Fox News’ 'Fox and Friends,' during which she urged Alabama voters not to support Jones in the upcoming special election and 'gave an implied endorsement' of Moore. . .The second violation occurred Dec. 6. This serves as yet more proof that the probe has exceeded their mandate, because they lack evidence that any collusion occurred.

Opioid overdoses in ERs up 30 percent as crisis worsens

NEW YORK (AP) — Emergency rooms saw a big jump in overdoses from opioids last year — the latest evidence the nation’s drug crisis is getting worse.
A government report released Tuesday shows overdoses from opioids increased 30 percent late last summer, compared to the same three-month period in 2016. The biggest jumps were in the Midwest and in cities, but increases occurred nationwide.
The report did not differentiate between prescription pain pills, heroin, fentanyl and other opioids.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently started using a new system to track ER overdoses and found the rate of opioid overdoses rose from 14 to 18 per 100,000 ER visits over a year.
Almost all those overdoses were not fatal. Opioids were involved in two-thirds of all overdose deaths in 2016.

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) says that a lack of amnesty for millions of illegal aliens is a “humanitarian crisis,” while black Americans continue to be overly unemployed in his home state of Illinois.
In the Senate on Monday, Durbin said President Trump’s end to the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was a national disaster but did not mention the fact that his state’s unemployment rate for black Americans remains above the national average at nearly ten percent.

President Trump, in contrast to Durbin, has secured historic wage increases, job opportunities, and record-low unemployment for black Americans through his strict immigration enforcement initiative known as “Buy American, Hire American,” which has weeded many illegal aliens out of the U.S. workforce.
The black unemployment sits at 6.8 percent nationwide, the lowest ever in history since the Bureau of Labor Statistics began tracking black unemployment in 1972.
In contrast, while Durbin pushes amnesty for illegal aliens, which would legalize more foreigners to compete for working-class jobs against black Americans, the unemployment rate for black Americans in Illinois is ten percent, well above the record-low national average.
In February, Trump’s strict immigration enforcement measures secured 600 black Americans higher wages and jobs in Chicago, as Breitbart News reported. The black Americans working at a Chicago bakery called the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency to notify them of all the illegal Mexican workers working at the bakery.
Lynne Lane, a worker at the bakery, told the Chicago Sun-Times that the racial makeup of the bakery was once 90 percent Mexican and ten percent black Americans. Now, she says the bakery is made up of 90 percent black American workers.
Unlike Durbin, black Americans are some of the most supportive citizens for seriously reducing legal immigration levels, understanding that it would lead to higher wages and less job competition in the U.S. labor market.
As Breitbart News reported, when asked, “In your opinion, about how many legal immigrants should be admitted to the U.S. each year,” 48 percent of black Americans said they would like to see between one and 250,000 legal immigrants brought to the U.S. a year.
Black Americans have been disproportionately impacted by mass immigration to the U.S., researchers say, as they were replaced by Hispanics in 2004 as the largest minority group in the country.
Every year the U.S. admits more than 1.5 million foreign nationals, with the vast majority deriving from family-based chain migration, whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S. In 2016, the legal and illegal immigrant population reached a record high of 44 million. By 2023, the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that the legal and illegal immigrant population of the U.S. will make up nearly 15 percent of the entire U.S. population.

While illegal aliens, the open borders lobby, and corporate interests are out demanding amnesty for millions of illegal aliens living across the United States, American citizens have repeatedly demanded less illegal and legal immigration to the U.S.
Chain migration is the process whereby newly naturalized citizens can currently bring their foreign relatives to the U.S. as legal immigrants. Chain migration has imported about 9.3 million foreign nationals to the U.S. since 2005. In that same time period, a total of 13.06 million foreign nationals have entered the U.S. through the legal immigration system, as every seven out of ten new arrivals come to the country for no other purpose than to reunify with foreign relatives.
This makes chain migration the largest driver of immigration to the U.S. — making up more than 70 percent — with every two new immigrants bringing seven foreign relatives with them.
Likewise, the Harvard-Harris poll found that an overwhelming majority of Americans support President Trump’s effort to reduce legal immigration by nearly half by ending chain migration and instead implementing a legal immigration system that is selective and chooses immigrants based on their merit, skills, and English proficiency.
A majority of 84 percent of Americans said they support a merit-based legal immigration system over the current chain migration process. Swing-voters are some of the most supportive Americans of a merit-based legal immigration system, garnering nearly 90 percent support for the plan from voters who identify as “Independent.”
Another 79 percent of Americans polled in the Harvard-Harris survey said they are opposed to open borders and that the U.S. needs “secure borders.” Seventy-one percent of black Americans and 72 percent of Hispanic Americans said they are opposed to open borders, favoring secure borders for the nation.
The most revealing component of the poll is a portion that shows widespread support among Americans for Trump’s immigration plan that would cut legal immigration levels in half in exchange for allowing only illegal aliens enrolled in DACA — about 690,000 — to stay in the U.S. The results of the immigration reduction would likely be increased wages for American workers and a tightened labor market that would give more opportunity to young Americans graduating college, black Americans, and the white working class.
The immigration reduction plan is supported by 63 percent of Americans, including nearly 60 percent support from swing voters and 57 percent of Americans who identify as liberals.
As Breitbart News reported, Republican voters now say that reducing overall immigration to the U.S. is the second-biggest priority for them, marking it as more important than tax reform, destroying ISIS, and even repealing Obamacare.

On March 8, 2016, the family of a Palestinian terrorist got the good news: Their financial future was assured due to the generosity of the Palestinian Authority that committed to paying a continuing reward for their son’s action in stabbing to death Taylor Force, a former American serviceman and West Point graduate, who was touring Israel with his friends.
The Palestinian Authority can afford such generosity, in part, because of the $300 million the U.S. gives it in annual foreign aid.
The stipends to the families of terrorists are several times as large as the average wage of a Palestinian worker.
The message is simple: Kill an Israeli or an American and not only is your place secure in heaven, but your family will be provided for on Earth.
Sens. Lindsay Graham, R-S.C., and Roy Blunt, R.-Mo., are sponsoring a bill to bar any future aid to the Palestinian Authority unless it discontinues payments to the families of terrorists.
With strong Republican support and with President Donald Trump reversing former President Barack Obama’s opposition to the legislation, it has a very good chance of passage.
Democrats, including Senate minority leader Chuck Schemer, D-N.Y., are largely supportive of the bill, but have yet to respond to Republican efforts to eliminate a sunset provision requiring that it be renewed every three years by new congressional action.
It is not clear if the Democrats will support this change.
We need to press for immediate passage of the Taylor Force Act so that our tax money is not used to subsidize terrorists who kill Americans.

President Trump’s Decision to Defund International Planned Parenthood Has Curtailed the Global Abortion Agenda

Many rituals are associated with Inauguration Day in the United States: the Oath of Office, inaugural balls, and Washington-area residents whose party lost the election listing their homes on Airbnb, just to name a few. And then there’s a lesser-known ritual that’s just as established but even more important: the argument over the Mexico City Policy.
First instituted in 1984 by Ronald Reagan, the Mexico City Policy derives its name from the venue of that year’s U.N. conference on “Population and Development.” The policy states that, as a condition of receiving federal funds, non-governmental organizations agree they will “neither perform nor actively promote abortion as a method of family planning in other nations.”
Every time the White House changes party hands, the Mexico City Policy also changes. Like clockwork. So when Democrats like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama move in to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, they rescind the Mexico City Policy. When Republicans like George Bush and Donald Trump come to town, they restore the policy in some form.
Each time the policy is restored, abortion advocates start wringing their hands, warning that the U. S. is putting women’s lives at risk. They cite figures about deaths from “preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth.” And recently, they’ve claimed that the latest iteration of the policy is forcing organizations to choose between treating HIV/AIDS and providing “life-saving reproductive health services.”
It’s not clear, of course, how in the world a policy specifically directed at abortion prevents anyone from addressing real health issues. And they conveniently omit the fact that the policy specifically exempts referrals in cases of “rape, incest, or endangerment of the life of the woman.”
SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately
As Elisha Dunn-Georgiou of Population Action International, recently acknowledged, “the policy does not reduce U.S. funding for health or family planning.” But it does take money from what she calls “the most competent providers of ‘sexual and reproductive health and rights’”—that is, pro-abortion advocacy groups like hers or Planned Parenthood.
So what’s really behind the dire warnings that accompany the reinstatement of the policy is funding. Groups that equate “women’s health” with “abortion rights” attack the Mexico City policy as a “health threat,” even if the only real threat is to their own bottom line.
But there’s also another reason for the hand-wringing over the Mexico City policy, one that even critics have been forced to admit: it’s a policy that works! The policy has forced non-governmental organizations to decide whether their priority is going to be abortion advocacy or women’s health.
In the process, local people are questioning why so many foreigners and government officials consistently present abortion as a solution to all of their problems, when the U.S. government does not support it?
Well, here’s why. First, abortion really isn’t a solution for women’s health. The all-too-many deaths from pregnancy-and childbirth-related causes in developing nations have little to do with legalizing abortion, a point critics of the policy seem intent on obscuring.
Second, because Christian institutions provide one-third of the medical care in Africa, and they want to promote health, physical and spiritual, not a “culture of death.” That’s why they support the Mexico City Policy.
On the other hand, we shouldn’t be a bit surprised that groups like Planned Parenthood hate it. It denies their funding, and directly challenges their deep, historic, and ideological commitment to abortion on demand.
Which is why denying them funding overseas is a positive development. Now if we could only find a way to deny that funding here at home.
