Another hot day in Phoenix. As we left Helene’s apartment the thermometer read 97F. Don’t believe the oomgalagala your hear about dry heat. I bet hell is a pretty dry place. Too hot for this old devil.
Since we left the comfy confines of New England, all hell is breaking out. All of it seems to portend dangerous days ahead.
I’m using the facilities of the library in Glendale (Velma Teague Library). My heartfelt thanks to them for putting up with me.
We note all over the news (we have not seen ANY TV since we left on our cross country journey) the Wiz Kid master of the universe Mighty Mark Zuckerberg is bamboozling and weaving his way through the pols he has given thousands upon thousands of dollars to. What a sham.
It seems Texas US Senator Ted Cruz has laid a glove on the boy wonder.
Meanwhile in the cesspool (Washington DC) a Secret Service Insider has revealed the shock Truth about Trump’s attorney’s office raid. I don’t want to sound like a left wing ding dong but this nonsense as Nixonian or Joe McCarthy like witch hunts. Have they no shame...
We warned you upon the election of Donald Trump all the old establishment sycophants, Republican and Democrat, would come out of the woodwork once he was elected.
In this space we informed the election of The Donald would bring all the usual suspects. May I brag a moment here...I was right.
Every ruthless tick in the book was used against him. Mud was slung by the shovel full but little of it stuck. Having the Wicked Witch of the West to run against didn’t hurt.
Our “Establishment” clown show still doesn’t know what hit them.
The Trump Revolution (don’t doubt for a moment we are at war for the survival of the USA) is working despite the numerous traitors willing to sell us out at the drop of a hat. All they have scheemed for is about to disappear. The last best hope for the “dirty rotten rats” is to kill the infant Trump before he grows strong enough to put the parsimonious pretenders where the belong.
Somehow, I suspect Trump has some John Paul Jones in him...He’ll never give up the ship.

Dan Bongino isn’t buying it.
As news spread Monday that FBI agents had raided the office of President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer “in part” because of the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller, the mainstream media had a field day.
But it took a former Secret Service agent to shine a light on the real truth about the action.
According to The New York Times, Monday’s raid opens “a new front for the Justice Department in its scrutiny of Mr. Trump and his associates.”
But for Bongino, who served for more than a decade with the Secret Service during the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations, the raid was just more proof of how politicized American law enforcement institutions have become.
To make his point, he contrasted the bureau’s treatment of Trump attorney Michael Cohen with its kid-gloves handling of Hillary Clinton associates during its “investigation” of the Clinton email scandal.
“Fascinating that Trump’s actual attorney’s office is raided for ‘evidence’ while Cheryl Mills, Hillary’s ‘lawyer’ (and potential co-conspirator) was allowed to act as Hillary’s lawyer so she could later TAKE CUSTODY of real evidence,” Bongino said in a Twitter post Monday that had been retweeted almost 15,000 times by Tuesday morning.
Fascinating that Trump’s actual attorney’s office is raided for “evidence” while Cheryl Mills, Hillary’s “lawyer” (and potential co-conspirator) was allowed to act as Hillary’s lawyer so she could sit in on an interview and so she could later TAKE CUSTODY of real evidence.
The contrast couldn’t be more striking. FBI agents during the Obama administration trod gingerly around then-Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her top aides, like chief of staff Cheryl Mills.
Under the direction of then-FBI Director James Comey, the bureau allowed Mills to claim “attorney-client privilege” during its half-hearted investigation of Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state. In May of 2016, Mills stormed out of meeting with FBI agents because a question supposedly breached that privilege.
On July 2, 2016, Mills was allowed to be present while FBI agents conducted an interview with Clinton that was supposed to be the climax of the email investigation. Some climax. It was only three days later that Comey made his now infamous declaration that Clinton would not be prosecuted for the scandal.
The bureau could barely question Mills, who was involved in Clinton escapades that were almost certainly criminal, while it sees fit to raid the office of Trump’s attorney as part of Mueller’s investigation of an illusion called “Russia collusion” where no one is even sure a crime has been committed.
Former U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, who investigated Clinton’s email and Benghazi scandals from his position as chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, also chimed in with a tweet about It’s true that there are still many questions that haven’t been answered publicly. It is known that the raid was spurred “in part” by a referral from Mueller, meaning whatever it involved was outside the scope of the Russia investigation itself. And, according to CNN and The Washington Post, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein probably signed off on the operation.
But what specifically the agents were looking for, and whether it was even at Cohen’s office still isn’t clear.
Even with those questions pending, the truth is, the double standard is breathtaking.
If Mueller has a shred of evidence against Trump related to Russian collusion, or anything else, it has not yet been made public. So far as is publicly known, Trump and his associates have been cooperative (and if they hadn’t been, we can all assume it would have been shouted from the mountaintops by the mainstream media getting convenient “leaks.”)
When Clinton was under investigation in a matter that even her supporters knew stank to high heaven, her chief of staff and alleged lawyer was allowed to storm out of the room during FBI questioning with absolutely zero consequences.
After all the best efforts of ll the mice and men of DC have been made to destroy Trump.
Facebook Survey Finds Trump Support Far Higher Than Expected

A new survey finds close to 100 percent of Ohio’s most likely Republican voters hold a favorable view of President Donald Trump. This despite the steady flow of acrimonious nonsense emanating from Ohio’s governor, John Kasich.
The Western Journal conducted the poll during the first week of April targeting those affiliated with the Republican Party and those who identify as conservative through Facebook.
The survey then pulled out the 1,100 respondents who indicated that they plan to vote in the Buckeye State’s May 8 primary, which will decide the GOP nominees for the U.S. Senate and governor, among other races.
Of these respondents in the key swing state, more than 96 percent said they had a favorable view of Trump.
Additionally, 94 percent reported they wanted their taxes cut, which certainly syncs nicely with the president’s signature legislative achievement: December’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
Further, 81 percent reported being better off now than they were two years ago, while 15 percent said they were not.
Ninety-eight percent believe the United States has an illegal immigration problem, which is another Trump bellwether issue.
Other statistics that play in the president’s favor were that 81 percent describe themselves as pro-life, and 26 percent had served in the military.
Finally, 97 percent support the efforts of the National Rifle Association to protect the nation’s Second Amendment rights.
Trump Must Be the Strong Horse Now

Lee Smith's seminal The Strong Horse: Politics, Power and the Clash of Arab Civilizations (2010) explains how the Arab world typically follows the leader with the most strength and power, i. e. the strong horse.
This proclivity for the powerful does not restrict itself to the Middle East, however. Xi Jinping these days is a pretty strong horse. Nor does it even restrict itself to dictators. Winston Churchill may have been the strongest horse of the last hundred years, having led the allies from the brink of defeat to victory in World War II, sometimes through sheer force of will.
Now it's Donald Trump's turn. Russia, China, Syria, Iran, North Korea, among other countries and non-state actors, not to mention a whole host of domestic foes, have all aligned themselves against him (and consequently America) in various degrees.
At the same time, an investigation into his inner circle threatens to sweep up virtually everyone from his personal lawyer to his son while his adversaries chortle.
But these adversaries, ambitious and vengeful as they are, have little idea of the chaos that will ensue in this country should Trump fall, the ruptures that will occur. And if they do understand that, they are the vilest of men and women. It is a chaos that will engulf Western Civilization itself, because Europe, the weakest of horses for decades, is in no position to defend its own values. They have already abdicated.
So Trump must be the strong horse and he must do it swiftly and thoroughly. In response to Assad's use of gas, he must deliver a heavy punishment (huge, in his words) all at once to the Syrians and their allies -- Russia, Iran and Iran's lackey those international drug pushers Hezbollah.
This does not mean getting ensnared in a war. Just administer a deep, serious and paralyzing wound they will never forget and get out. Destroy Syria's air fields and planes, as an example, laying waste to Russia's missile defenses in the process. Increase economic sanctions on Putin to the max. The ruble is already tanking. Keep up the pressure until Putin blinks or the Russian people rise up against the dictator. Blast every discernible Iranian presence in Syria to kingdom come while warning the mullahs the same will happen to them at home if they make a peep. And, of course, void the absurd nuclear deal with the added warning that even the slightest move to atomic weaponry on their part will mean a massive air attack.
And assassinating Assad would be a benefit to humanity into the bargain, no matter what Vogue magazine may have said.
Do not wait for the UN to authorize any of this because that would never happen. If a coalition of the willing joins us, whether it's the French, the British, the Saudis or whoever, so much the better. But again -- don't wait.
What Trump does will be viewed carefully in Beijing and Pyongyang, and the Chinese and North Koreans will react accordingly.
Already he seems to have been making headway with them. Xi Jinping announced a series of conciliatory trade measures Monday; Little Rocket Man wants to talk. If things are to change, if these pronouncements are to become reality, Trump must be the strong horse.
Let Mueller stew. Let the Wag the Dog useful idiots at NBC natter on. Just do it. If not now, when?
