Ex-FBI director throws book at Trump for ethics, honesty

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey says in his self-aggrandizing tell-all out today, “This president is unethical, and untethered to truth and institutional values. His leadership is transactional, ego driven, and about personal loyalty.”

Before you roll on the floor laughing, let’s unpack this, shall we?

Here we have a crooked former FBI director accusing the president of being unethical when Comey himself oversaw a sham investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails.

Instead of prosecuting a member of the political aristocracy, Queen Clinton — or her many co-conspirators — Comey and his henchmen at the FBI worked overtime to cover Clinton’s tracks.

Nevermind that Clinton’s posse destroyed evidence with a hammer — relevant to the FBI’s investigation. Nevermind that Clinton associates deleted 33,000 emails, wiped servers and “lost” a laptop. All anecdotes to Comey, because according to him, there’s nothing to see here, folks.

Now Comey’s accusing President Trump of being untruthful when Comey misled Congress — under oath — in 2016 when asked when he made the decision not to prosecute Clinton over her reckless mishandling of classified information while secretary of state. Comey said he didn’t make the decision until — after — the FBI interviewed her. Not so.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley and Sen. Lindsey Graham obtained transcripts from the Office of the Special Counsel, a watchdog group, that found Comey wrote an exoneration letter clearing Clinton several months before the FBI conducted its pretend interview where their pal Hillary wasn’t even put under oath.

Why don’t Attorney General Jeff Sessions, FBI Director Christopher Wray or members of Congress see the holes in Comey’s story?

Clearly Comey, like Clinton, is getting special treatment and accommodations not afforded to the rest of us. Meanwhile, Comey has the audacity to question Trump’s character, calling him a liar, and we’re supposed to rush out and go buy his book so he can rake in the dough?

I’d rather hand $20 to the next homeless guy I see panhandling on the streets of Boston.

Tomi Lahren Posted The PERFECT Tweet For “Tax Day”

As you well know, today, April 17th, is tax day.

Millions of Americans who put their taxes off until the last minute are scrambling to get their documents processed before the end of the day today so they don’t face a steep fine for their tardiness.

Since the subject of taxes is on all of our minds, Tomi Lahren thought it would be a good time to remind the American people about how the Democrats feel about your taxes.

Here’s what she tweeted:

While Tomi is spot on with her tweet, she actually didn’t go far enough.

Not only did ZERO Democrats vote to lower your taxes, but they have already promised to RAISE them if they take control of Congress in 2018.

Here’s what Forbes.com had to say about their plans:

Congressional Democrats released a detailed tax hike plan that they promised to implement if given majority control of the House and Senate after the 2018 midterm elections. So much for the crocodile tears about the deficit. Democrats want to raise taxes not to reduce the debt, but rather to spend that tax hike money on boondoggle projects. As you might expect, hold onto your wallets.

Here are some of the quick-hitting details of the Democrats plan to raise your taxes if they win in 2018:

***Increase the top marginal income tax rate from 37 percent to 39.6 percent.

***Increase the corporate income tax rate from 21 percent to 25 percent

***Bring back the alternative minimum tax (AMT) for 4 million families.

***Cut the “death tax” standard deduction in half.

This is another reason we CANNOT let the Democrats take over in 2018. It wasn’t enough that we voted Trump in…now we need to KEEP him in!

Speaking of Trump, he too weighed in on our lower taxes on the eve of the deadline:

Report: Hogg Advertiser Boycott Campaign Backfires as ‘The Ingraham Angle’ Viewership Jumps 20%

A campaign led by anti-gun activist David Hogg aimed at the advertisers of Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show The Ingraham Angle appears to have backfired, as her ratings have reportedly risen by over 20 percent.

“Since Ingraham returned from vacation on April 9, total viewership of her program has averaged about 2.7 million (Monday through Thursday; Friday’s numbers are not available),” Newsbusters reported.

“Compare that to the ratings from March 26 through March 29, the Monday through Thursday just prior to the boycott: That week, Ingraham’s total viewership averaged 2.23 million,” it continued. “The increase in her ratings since the boycott began is more than 20 percent.”

The rise in ratings follows a campaign led by student activist David Hogg, who began targeting Ingraham’s advertisers after she made derogatory comments about Hogg’s failure to get into certain colleges – an action for which she later apologized.

However, Hogg pressed on with the campaign, urging companies to boycott The Ingraham Angle, denouncing the apology as an “effort just to save your advertisers.”

Around 27 companies including Office Depot, Jenny Craig, Hulu, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Wayfair, StitchFix, Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Atlantis Paradise Island, and Liberty Mutual agreed to pull advertising, although other companies have refused.

Despite the campaign, Fox News have expressed their support for Ingraham, warning that they “will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts.”

Advertisers that refused to boycott the show, such as pillow company MyPillow, have also seen “strong” sales in recent weeks, despite a boycott campaign led by Hogg’s supporters over the company’s refusal to bow to their wishes.

Jamie Glazov Suspended from Facebook for Posting Screenshots of Abuse

Canadian columnist and host of the Glazov Gang, Jamie Glazov, was suspended from Facebook after he posted screenshots of abuse he received for criticising Islam.

Canadian conservative columnist and editor of Frontpage Magazine, Jamie Glazov, has found his Facebook account suspended after he posted screenshots of threats and abuse he received from a commenter angry that Glazov had criticised Islam. In an article on his website, Glazov posted screenshots of an exchange he had with another Facebook user named Muhammad Irfan Ayoub. Glazov claims that Ayoub began “rebuking him for daring to bring attention to the persecution of women and girls under Sharia and telling Jamie to convert to Islam.”

In one exchange, Ayoub reportedly told Glazov that “Allah will defeat you,” Glazov replied; “Allah will defeat us? I thought Islam was a religion of peace?” Ayoub replied; “Peace for those who obey Allah and His Prophet. but those who oppose them their [there] is no peace for them.” A screenshot of the exchange can be seen below.

In another exchange, Ayoub said to Glazov; “I will break your mouth,”

Glazov then made two posts to his own Facebook page featuring screenshots of his exchange with Ayoub. According to Glazov the two posts were about “(1) asking Mark Zuckerberg if Ayoub’s threat is unsafe to the community and (2) pointing out that if a kafir (Islam’s secret dirty word for the unbeliever) said this to Ayoub on Facebook that there would be a lifelong ban and police would be at the kafir’s door within 12 hours.”

Glazov then states that he was suspended from Facebook for seven days, receiving the following error when he attempted to post to his profile:

Glazov sent a message to Facebook which reads; “I was threatened on Facebook by Muhammad Irfan Ayoub – he said he would “break my mouth.” I made a post of this with a screenshot. Now you have banned me for complaining about being threatened.” Facebook has yet to respond to Glazov. Breitbart News also reached out to Facebook for comment on the issue but has yet to receive a reply at the time of this writing.

Glazov’s situation seems quite similar to that of conservative actress Mindy Robinson who also found herself suspended briefly from Facebook after posting screenshots of abuse she had received. “The page is up, I’m on a 30-day ban from using it though. There is, of course, the looming threat that they will just unpublish the page and I’ll lose all 136k followers,” said Robinson. “Personally I’m tired of getting constant unsolicited threats from ‘tolerant’ liberals. I wanted to show people what they say when they think they can’t be held accountable. I even blocked out his last name so that I wouldn’t be accused of harassment.”

Breitbart News received no reply to a request for comment from Facebook but following our outreach to the platform along with emails from Robinson’s fans and other concerned conservatives, the right-wing actress has had her posting rights reinstated. In a post to her page, Robinson stated “Well look at that, there’s absolutely no way this would have happened if you guys hadn’t garnered so much support around me for my malicious Facebook ban. This is proof we cannot be silenced if we stand together…. #MAGA”

UNBELIEVABLE! Prez Makes History After Six Decades of Animosity

We talk a lot about how unorthodox Donald Trump is as a choice for President, but it’s important to remind ourselves of this as he continues to shatter the mold of the Commander in Chief.

Of course, we hired him precisely for this reason.  He’s not a politician, and that’s incredibly important.  He’s a wrecking ball for the establishment way of operating, as we can tell by the massive, bipartisan effort to undermine him.  He’s a threat to business as usual, and that makes him the perfect citizen President.

And all of that talk about political experience, or his lack thereof?  It hasn’t seemed to phase him much, especially on the economy.

It takes real determination to ignore the numbers. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of people working increased by 395,000 from February to May of this year. By contrast, the increase for the same period last year under President Obama was 15,000. Now at 6.9 million, the number of people unemployed is at its lowest level since May 2007, seven months before the recession began.

The unemployment rate hit a 16 year low of 4.3 percent in May, continuing its post-recession trend. But the official unemployment rate can drop for reasons other than labor market strength, such as people dropping out of the labor force or working part time jobs because they are unable to find full time jobs.

A better indicator of labor market strength is the U-6 unemployment rate, a broader measure that many economists consider the real unemployment rate. It counts people as unemployed for a year (rather than just 30 days) after they give up their job search and counts people as unemployed who are working part time because they are unable to find full time jobs. At 8.4 percent, this measure has dropped a full percentage point since January and is now at its lowest level since November 2007, the month before the recession began.

But number crunching isn’t the only thing that President Trump seems to be excelling at.  His fierce patriotism seems to be winning over a number of fronts in the nation’s foreign policy, including a never-before-seen maneuver in the Far East.

North Korea and South Korea are reportedly preparing to announce an official end to their 68-year war.

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and South Korean president Moon Jae-in will meet next week to discuss an end to the war, the newspaper Munhwa Ilbo said, citing an unidentified South Korean official.

The two countries have technically been at war for 68 years since the Korean War began in June 1950. The three-year conflict ended with an armistice instead of a peace treaty in 1953, and smaller conflicts have flared from time to time since.

The reckoning that North Korea has faced under U.S.-backed sanctions has been tremendous, and the isolationist nation had grown incredibly hostile in recent months.  After a few well-timed, stern tweets and a couple of stiff economic penalties, Trump was able to bring North Korea to heel…something that no diplomat has been able to do in nearly seven decades.

This citizen President thing seems to be working out pretty well, eh?

IRS Payment Website Crashes on Tax Deadline Day

Just in time for tax day: The IRS website to make payments is down. But you still have to pay your taxes.

The IRS did not have an immediate explanation for the failure.

It appears, based on a message on the site, that the online payment system became unavailable at 2:50 A.M. ET on Tuesday.

However, the initial message about the outage may have only confused visitors to the site. It said that the payment service, IRS Direct Pay, was experiencing both an unplanned and planned outage. The headline said the service would be available again on Dec. 31, 9999, but the message text the service would resume on September, 22, 2016.

The IRS has since updated the website to say it is temporarily unavailable. But the agency adds, "Note that your tax payment is due although IRS Direct Pay may not be available."

Tax day falls on April 17 this year because April 15 was a Sunday and April 16 was Emancipation Day, a holiday in Washington, D.C.

IRS Acting Commissioner David Kautter testified during a House Oversight Hearing Tuesday that a number of systems are down at the moment and that the agency is working to resolve the issue.

The IRS typically recommends that taxpayers use electronic filing to avoid common mistakes. Online filing is quicker than dropping something in the mail — when the site works, of course. Plus, electronic filers typically get any refund faster.

James Comey is finally being exposed for what he really is… a liar.

Attorney Lanny Davis, a longtime Clinton ally and insider, stated, “Mr. Comey is lying when he said he was ‘obligated’ to write that letter because he promised Congress.”

Attention Seeker

For most conservatives, it was very apparent early on that James Comey had a political agenda when he was the Director of the FBI.

Now, ousted from public service, Comey is determined to keep his name in the headlines at any cost.

Comey is now out touting his new book, much of which appears to be nothing more than a hit piece against President Trump.

In order to make him a more attractive guest on shows, it would appear as though Comey is more than willing to stretch the truth a bit.

Liar, Liar

Davis pointed to a comment Comey made about why the investigation into Hillary Clinton was re-opened late in the presidential investigation.

Comey previously told congressional leaders he would “look at” new evidence if any came in.

However, he says in his book that he was “obligated” to re-open the probe into Hillary’s email scandal because he promised Congress he would do so.

There is a BIG difference in saying you will look at evidence versus reopening an FBI investigation.

Why So Quick?

At the time the investigation was re-opened, the reason was the FBI had come into possession of a new batch of classified documents.

The investigation was wrapped up about a week later, leaving many to wonder if the investigation was politically motivated one way or the other.

As it turned out, the “new” documents received were actually duplicate files of information the FBI already had in its possession.

Comey, less than two weeks after reopening the investigation, would close it again on November 6.

Of course, Hillary blamed the re-opening of the investigation as one of the reasons for her loss in the election.
