Obama DoD Paid ‘FBI Informant’ Stefan Halper over $250,000 Right Before 2016 Election

Public records show Stefan Halper, the foreign policy expert “outed,” as an FBI informant that spied on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, was paid a large sum in 2016 for work he did for the Obama administration.

The Department of Defense paid Halper $282,295 on September 27, 2016 — just months before the 2016 presidential election — for work titled, “INDIA AND CHINA ECON STUDY,” says USASPENDING.gov, a website that tracks spending data for the U.S. government. This sum was one of two payments made to Halper for the job; the second, worth $129,280, was made on July 26, 2017. The record lists Halper’s “Period of Performance” as September 26, 2016 to March 29, 2018.
USASPENDING.gov shows the Department of Defense paid Halper a total of $1,058,161 for work between 2012-2018. The work designated for “India-China” study comprised nearly 40 percent of that compensation.
The contents of the work listed above are presently unknown.
Recent reports detailed Halper’s interactions with three members of the Trump campaign— Carter Page, Sam Clovis, and George Papadopoulos.
The New York Post writes:
Halper made his first overture when he met with Page at a British symposium. The two remained in regular contact for more than a year, meeting at Halper’s Virginia farm and in Washington, DC, as well as exchanging emails.
The professor met with Trump campaign co-chair Sam Clovis in late August, offering his services as a foreign-policy adviser, The Washington Post reported Friday, without naming the academic.
Days later, Halper contacted Papadopoulos by email. The professor offered the young and inexperienced campaign aide $3,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to London, ostensibly to write a paper about energy in the eastern Mediterranean region.
The Stanford and Oxford-educated Halper started his career in government in 1971 as a member of President Richard Nixon’s Domestic Policy Council and served as the Office of Management and Budget’s Assistant Director of Management and Evaluation Division between 1973-1974. The foreign policy expert worked assistant to all three of President Gerald Ford’s Chief of Staffs — Alexander Haig, Donald Rumsfeld, and Dick Cheney — until 1977.
In March 2016, Halper told Sputnik News that he believed then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton would prove more effective than other candidates in maintaining the “special relationship” between the United States and Britain.
“I believe Clinton would be best for US-UK relations and for relations with the European Union. Clinton is well-known, deeply experienced and predictable. US-UK relations will remain steady regardless of the winner although Clinton will be less disruptive over time,” Halper told the Russian news outlet.

Devastating 2016 Strzok Text Found: Obama’s WH is Running Trump Investigation
BY BEN MARQUIS
For more than a year, the Democrat-aligned media has denied and scoffed at allegations that elements within the Obama administration had spied upon the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.
That all changed recently with the leaked admission of an “informant” who’d been querying marginal Trump campaign associates for information about supposed connections to Russia on behalf of former President Barack Obama’s FBI.
That admission, combined with the voluminous ream of text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page that had previously been released, have made it abundantly clear that Obama’s FBI was indeed running a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign, one that was directed from the highest levels.
National Review’s Andrew McCarthy recently shared what he had gleaned after a deep dive into the many texts between Strzok and Page, with a particular focus around the time the investigation into Trump’s campaign was initially opened.
McCarthy’s main takeaway was that the Department of Justice had redacted the juiciest and most revealing parts of those texts, specifically the names of high-ranking officials outside of the FBI who were involved in the investigation, among other bits of information potentially damning for the Obama administration.
There was one text in particular from Strzok that McCarthy highlighted that former Bush White House press secretary Ari Fleischer felt should have garnered even more attention than it did, a message that appeared to indicate the involvement of the Obama White House in running the entire operation.
Seems to me the headline here should have been the quote cited by Peter Strzok, attributed to a redacted source, saying “The White House is running this”, referring in August 2016 to the opening of the Trump counter-intelligence investigation. https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/05/strzok-page-texts-trump-russia-investigation-origins/ …
4:40 PM - May 20, 2018

“Seems to me the headline here should have been the quote cited by Peter Strzok, attributed to a redacted source, saying ‘The White House is running this’, referring in August 2016 to the opening of the Trump counterintelligence investigation,” Fleischer said in tweet posted Sunday.
That message from Strzok to Page was in regard to a high-level meeting — which included “agency people,” as in CIA officials— held Aug. 5, 2016 following his return from a trip to London where he presumably interviewed the FBI’s informant, though those particular details were redacted.
The message from Strzok read: “And hi. Went well, best we could have expected. Other than (REDACTED) quote: ‘the White House is running this.’ My answer, ‘well, maybe for you they are.’ And of course, I was planning on telling this guy, thanks for coming, we’ve got an hour, but with Bill (Priestap) there, I’ve got no control.”
Bill Priestap was the assistant director of counterintelligence, and Strzok’s immediate superior in the FBI hierarchy.
Page replied: “Yeah, whatever (re the WH comment). We’ve got the emails that say otherwise.”
Two immediate questions arise from that exchange — who was the redacted official who stated the “White House is running this” in regard to the counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign, and what exactly is contained in the emails referenced by Page “that say otherwise”?
If Congress hasn’t already demanded to know the answers to those questions, they better get on it soon. Odds are that redacted individual to whom the quote is attributed is an incredibly high-level official with some measure of authority whose identity, if revealed, would prove devastating to the entire Trump/Russia collusion investigation narrative.
McCarthy also wants to know what names and information are hidden behind the many redactions within the released texts, and wondered if it was classified or simply embarrassing to the DOJ/FBI/Obama administration if released.
Wouldn’t it be ironic if the same FBI that cleared former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the unauthorized transmission of classified material were themselves transmitting classified materials through text messages in an unauthorized manner.

Gunman shot at Trump hotel was a stripper and porn actor

Facts are starting to roll in about the shooter at the Trump resort and they paint a very confused and troubling picture.
In addition to other things, Jonathan Oddi was a male stripper and amateur porn star.

Sordid Past

According to reports, Oddi was a male stripper in Miami.
The Miami Herald reached out to other dancers that worked with him.
However, they offered little insight as to why Oddi lost it and went nuts at Trump’s resort.

Social Media Tells the Tale

Digging through Oddi’s social media profiles offered a bit more insight into the man.
Most notably, he would seem to have a mild obsession with Melania Trump.
Oddi regularly made posts complimenting the First Lady while taking shots at the President.
He also appears to have recently passed his citizenship test.
In August 2017, Oddi posted a pic on his Instagram account celebrating the fact that he was finally a U.S. citizen.

Not a Fan of Trump

Oddi apparently had several problems with U.S. policy.
Of note is a post he made ripping the United States for sending money to Israel when “They have free healthcare and college. But we don’t because we can’t afford it!”
In another post, he called Melania the balance for “Trumps aggressiveness.”
Still, though, no real insight as to why he specifically chose the Trump resort to get into a gun battle with officers.
Right now, only Oddi knows why he did and he does not appear to want to share that information with anyone.

Kellyanne Conway Demands to Know Who This CNN Reporter Voted for in 2016

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway’s interview with CNN’s Brian Stelter on “Reliable Sources” became explosive when Conway pushed a question about “Transparency” on the reporter.
Conway saw what direction the interview was going and decided to take a stand: “If you want to talk about the 2016 election, let’s talk about it. I think everything should come out.”
Conway, who is the first woman to run a successful presidential campaign, asked: “Tell America, did you vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump?” Quickly, as a response to the many questions about Conway’s husband’s political views, she added, “How did your wife vote?”
Stelter was clearly trying to push hard on the “Russia meddling” narrative probe, suggesting that the election results may have been invalid thanks to “collusion.” Conway is tough as nails and refused to take the bait. Instead, she turned the spotlight directly on media bias, asking if anyone at CNN has any real proof of Russia’s meddling costing Clinton the 2016 election.
Conway’s argument is an important one: CNN wants to cover this story to make Trump’s presidency an illegitimate one. And by doing so, a cable news network is attempting to invalidate the millions of Trump voters who showed up on election day to elect their preferred candidate.
As Conway opined, “Trump won states that Hillary Clinton ignored; his victory had nothing to do with Russia.”
Realizing that Conway was ready for a fight, Stelter responded that he thinks Russian involvement was “one of a hundred factors” that influenced the outcome.”
Conway fired back: “I’m not going to let you get away with saying Russia had anything to do with this election result. What is your evidence of that?”
Stelter’s “evidence” was the so-called “abuse” of stolen emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) by WikiLeaks.
Conway asked, “Did you just say something that a lot of people are your side of the aisle are not willing to admit?”
Hilariously, Stelter replied, “I’m not on a side of the aisle. That’s an offensive remark.”
Stelter replied, “I did not vote for president. I left that spot blank on the ballot that day. But it’s not appropriate for you to go around asking people who they voted for.”
Conway concluded, “You probably didn’t think [Hillary] needed your help.”
Conway also destroyed the idea that Trump is attacking the media unfairly. The reality is, the media clearly wants to bring his Presidency to an early end and is functioning as a pro-Democrat political effort. The liberal #fakenews media has truly become the opposition party, through their biased and fake reports.
Watch the powerful exchange here. Conway is teaching conservatives exactly how to deal with #fakenews on CNN:

Clintonista Mark Penn: Mueller Probe Exposed — and the ‘Deep State’ Is Flailing
mark-penn-obama-comey-mueller-gettyMcNamee/Getty Images
Mark Penn — Hillary Clinton’s chief strategist during her 2008 presidential campaign who has served the Clinton family since the mid-90s — lowers the boom on Robert Mueller, Rod Rosenstein, Christopher Steele, the Clinton Foundation, and the intelligence community’s “deep state,” laying out the absurdity and the danger of the Obama administration’s abuse of surveillance and law enforcement against political enemies.

From The Hill:

The “deep state” is in a deep state of desperation. With little time left before the Justice Department inspector general’s report becomes public, and with special counsel Robert Mueller having failed to bring down Donald Trump after a year of trying, they know a reckoning is coming.

At this point, there is little doubt that the highest echelons of the FBI and the Justice Department broke their own rules to end the Hillary Clinton “matter,” but we can expect the inspector general to document what was done or, more pointedly, not done. It is hard to see how a year-long investigation of this won’t come down hard on former FBI Director James Comey and perhaps even former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who definitely wasn’t playing mahjong in a secret “no aides allowed” meeting with former President Clinton on a Phoenix airport tarmac.

With this report on the way and congressional investigators beginning to zero in on the lack of hard, verified evidence for starting the Trump probe, current and former intelligence and Justice Department officials are dumping everything they can think of to save their reputations.

But it is backfiring. They started by telling the story of Alexander Downer, an Australian diplomat, as having remembered a bar conversation with George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign. But how did the FBI know they should talk to him? That’s left out of their narrative. Downer’s signature appears on a $25 million contribution to the Clinton Foundation. You don’t need much imagination to figure that he was close with Clinton Foundation operatives who relayed information to the State Department, which then called the FBI to complete the loop. This wasn’t intelligence. It was likely opposition research from the start.

In no way would a fourth-hand report from a Maltese professor justify wholesale targeting of four or five members of the Trump campaign. It took Christopher Steele, with his funding concealed through false campaign filings, to be incredibly successful at creating a vast echo chamber around his unverified, fanciful dossier, bouncing it back and forth between the press and the FBI so it appeared that there were multiple sources all coming to the same conclusion.

Dick Morris: Forget About ‘Blue Wave’ in 2018 Midterms — Get Ready for ‘Red Wave’

Sunday on New York AM 970 radio’s “The Cats Roundtable,” political commentator and former Bill Clinton adviser Dick Morris shot down the idea that there will be a “blue wave” in the 2018 midterm elections, instead saying a “red wave” is on the way.

Morris told host John Catsimatidis he believes “Democrats are overplaying their hand” by going after President Donald Trump for the Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels scandals, adding it will show in the 2018 elections.

“I think that [Democrats] see fool’s gold in these scandals,” Morris stated. “They’re putting everything behind the Stormy Daniels scandal and Michael Cohen … and the country doesn’t give a damn.”

He predicted, “There is no blue wave coming. There is a red wave. And what makes it red is the blood of the Democratic Party.”

Courageous (that’s genuine oomgalagala) Sen. Elizabeth Warren Pledges To Never Take Money From The NRA. They Aren't Offering Any.
By EMILY ZANOTTI

In an "inspirational" video for Now This News, Sen. Elizabeth Warren forcefully pledges that she will never take a dime from the National Rifle Association, particularly in light of a recent school shooting near Houston, Texas.

But there's just one problem: the NRA has never cut a check to Warren, and they aren't about to start now.

This News proudly trumpets their "exclusive," calling Warren the "first U.S. Senator to pledge never to take money from the NRA. The activist news organization even devotes a flattering three minutes to Warren's "pledge," superimposing "facts" about Sen. Warren over action photos.

'It's time we strip the NRA of its stranglehold over our children's lives.' — Elizabeth Warren is the first U.S. senator to pledge never to take money from the NRA

3:18 PM - May 18, 2018

The National Rifle Association is far from one of the biggest corporate campaign donors -- it doesn't typically crack the top fifty, unlike more aggressive political nonprofits, like Planned Parenthood -- but it is by no means a stingy donor to those candidates who support gun rights (including, but not limited to, Sen. Bernie Sanders).

But according to Open Secrets, which has records for the NRA going back nearly a decade, the NRA has never cut a check to Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren -- not even the token $50 checks they sometimes send Democratic Members of Congress from states where hunting is particularly popular. In 2012, the last time Warren ran for office, the NRA actually scaled back donations across the board, giving just slightly more than $1 million to Congressional races.

It's not as though the NRA is clamoring to donate to Warren now, either. Her rhetoric in the wake of the Parkland mass shooting has been nothing short of vitriolic, and the NRA doesn't typically cut checks to candidates who are openly hostile to their aims. It'll be shockingly easy for her to keep her brave "pledge."

Loopy Pelosi Babbles Gibberish, Blames Farmers For 'Self-Inflicted Damage'
By JOSEPH CURL@JOSEPHCURL

Nancy Pelosi, the 78-year-old career politician who wants to be Speaker of the House again, just keeps getting weirder.

The House minority leader holds a weekly press conference and every week she's more odd. Pelosi has long been known for her poor public speaking skills, but last week she was seen "uttering gibberish, bizarrely laughing and staring off mid-sentence before re-engaging the press during the appearance," reports the American Mirror.

Pelosi accused U.S. farmers of “self-inflicted damage,” resulting from proposed tariffs by the Trump administration, before having to fix the statement she read from her notes.

“Farmers are struggling with plummeting prices, great economic uncertainty, and self-inflicted damage of the Trump tariffs. I say self, self— for our country,” she said.

“Republicans wrote a bill that abandons farmers, uh, uh, fam— farming families. It weakens, the farmers’ safety net…” Pelosi accused.

Talk about food stamps, she said, “1.5 million veterans,” stopping and staring amid a brain freeze, before continuing, “are involved in the nutrition program.”

After claiming a Republican priority is “taking the food out of the mouths of babies,” she turned to prescription drugs, saying, “President Trump’s monthl— month, months-delayed speech on prescription drugs…

Pelosi, who has already served 16 terms in the House, has filed paperwork to run again in 2018, but some party leaders wish she'd go away. Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) said late last year it was time for Pelosi — and other longtime party leaders — to depart and let a new generation lead House Democrats.

"Our leadership does a tremendous job, but we do have this real breadth and depth of talent within our caucus and I do think it’s time to pass the torch to a new generation of leaders," Sanchez said.

Over the last couple years, Pelosi has been getting weirder and weirder.

She has praised illegal aliens on the Capitol's lawn, saying, "You make America more American" (Um, they, by definition, don't). She's said the Constitution does not grant people the right to shout "wolf" in a theater (it probably does, but you can't yell "fire"). And she's complained that President Trump visited Saudi Arabia first, saying “It wasn’t even alphabetical. I mean, Saudi Arabia!" (Nancy thinks he should have hit Afghanistan, then Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, etc.)

But don't worry. She'll come up with a new way to embarrass herself at her next weekly presser on Thursday.

Report: Trump Considering Coup Against Paul Ryan
By Jack Davis
Amid deep-seated fighting among the factions within the House Republican majority, a new report has emerged that some conservative Republicans may try to push House Speaker Paul Ryan out of his leadership role before the end of the year, when Ryan is scheduled to retire.
The effort to oust Ryan has been laid before President Donald Trump, according to a report in the Washington Examiner, which referenced a report by The Weekly Standard that said, “Trump believes there is merit to the plan, but has not formed a final position.” Neither report disclosed the source of its information.
Ryan has said he will not step down as speaker.
“I’ve talked to a lot of members who think it is in our best interest for me to stay here and run through the tape,” Ryan said last month.
Others have said the party needs Ryan to step aside.
“We would have more success if there’s no ambiguity as to what the leadership structure might look like,” George Congressman Tom Graves said last month, Politico reported. “Certainty is important. … From the conversations I’ve had, everybody wants our ‘A team’ in place, our strongest team in place, so we have the strongest outcome going into the election cycle.”
The report about a potential coup comes days after yet another collision between the centrist and conservative wings of the party.
On Friday, as reported by CNBC, a proposed farm bill went down to defeat after conservatives failed to get the assurances they sought that the House would pass tough immigration reforms.
Ryan has signaled in the past he would support allowing the children of illegal immigrants to be protected from deportation. However, the Wisconsin Republican is opposed in this by California Republican Kevin McCarthy, the House Majority Leader. Ryan’s position reflects the generally held position of moderates, while McCarthy’s is more in line with conservatives.
What is actually possible? It depends upon who you ask.
“Ryan has wanted to find a solution to this going back five or six years; clearly there is an opportunity to do it now,” said Florida Republican Carlos Curbelo, a moderate, Politico reported.
And some say no matter what the deal, the children of illegal immigrants, currently allowed to remain under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, will not get a path to citizenship.
“Wall for DACA? That’s a nonstarter,” said House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows of North Carolina. “It will never happen.”
Ryan’s own decision to leave Congress has altered the dynamics of his power in the House, one congressman said.
“That’s one of the challenges of Ryan announcing that he was not going to seek re-election: Now everybody is kind of looking to (McCarthy),” said Republican Congressman Mike Simpson of Idaho.
“Our conference is so ungovernable that it is almost impossible for a speaker to be successful,” Simpson added, saying that even though McCarthy is not yet Ryan’s successor, “he’s still getting the pressure of almost being speaker.”

Cancerous Clintons Can’t Catch A Break As Liberal NYT Tells Them To…
By Andrew West

Those of us in the know have been well aware of the long, dark history of the Clinton Crime Family for some time, but it seems that, in 2018, even the unabashedly liberal New York Times can’t ignore the political dynasty’s multitude of sins.

Hillary Clinton
Of course, we have Wikileaks and Donald Trump to thank for this.  During the 2016 election, Trump was unafraid of Hillary Clinton’s clandestine influence on the Swamp known as Washington D.C., boldly taking a stance of truth and consternation when confronted by the democratic diva during the debate schedule.  The eventual President was easily able to sway the American people into understanding the full scope of Clinton’s political chicanery, and a number of damning leaks from Julian Assange and crew cemented the sentiment among the voters.
In the end, Clinton was defeated in November, but refused to go away – even going so far as to write a memoir entitled What Happened, in which the former Secretary of State makes a number of excuses for the embarrassment of her loss.
Now, after well over a year of Clinton’s constant cacophony of blame and shame, even The New York Times is taking up arms against the intrusive former diplomat.

“But in the 2018 election campaign, Hillary and Bill Clinton have veered in sharply different directions. Mrs. Clinton appears determined to play at least a limited role in the midterms, bolstering longtime allies and raising money for Democrats in safely liberal areas. Her husband has been all but invisible.
And both have been far less conspicuous than in past election cycles, but for different reasons: Mrs. Clinton faces distrust on the left, where she is seen as an avatar of the Democratic establishment, and raw enmity on the right. Mr. Clinton has been largely sidelined amid new scrutiny of his past misconduct with women.”
It’s not often that you find such truthful reporting in the pages of The Times these days, given their penchant for skirting the line between “fake news” and “barnyard excrement”.
The paper then doubled down.
The story then declares that the couple “reeks of the past and [Democrats] fear that their unpopularity with conservative-leaning and independent voters could harm Democrats in close races.” Ouch. As evidence, the piece points out that while there is a Democratic primary election for a Republican-held House seat in Little Rock, Ark. — where the two were once from before they became New Yorkers — not a single one of the four candidates running “has reached out to seek the Clintons’ support.”
“I see the Clintons as a liability,” said Paul Spencer, a high school teacher running as a progressive in the Arkansas race. “They simply represent the old mind-set of a Democratic Party that is going to continue to lose elections.”
The Times says Hillary will play “at least a limited role in the midterms,” but not so for Bill. “Mrs. Clinton’s husband appears far less welcome on the trail, with his unpopularity among Republicans compounded by new skepticism on the left about his treatment of women and allegations of sexual assault.”
It’s incredible to watch such a large and liberal news organization find itself in the uncomfortable position of being unable to fake their way out of a corner.

FBI Investigating Abortionist Who Delivers Babies Alive and Snips Their Necks
NATIONAL   CHERYL SULLENGER

The U.S. Department of Justice has informed Operation Rescue in a letter dated May 11, 2018, that abortionist Douglas Karpen has finally been forwarded to the FBI Houston Field Office for “any action deemed necessary” related to crimes that include the murder of living babies after failed abortions.
The case actually began in 2012, when four women who worked at Karpen’s Houston area abortion facilities contacted Operation Rescue with information that he was violating the law. Cheryl Sullenger, Senior Vice President of Operation Rescue, received photos of large babies that one Karpen employee had taken at his abortion facility with her cell phone that workers said had been born alive then killed by slashing or twisting their necks.
On May 15, 2013, Operation Rescue released a report along with the photos that supported allegations that Karpen was murdering babies that survived the abortion process. Other alleged crimes included sexual harassment and/or abuse of employees and patients.
That report and ensuing complaints prompted a grand jury “investigation” that declined to indict Karpen. Operation Rescue later learned that grand jury was tainted by improper communications between then District Attorney Devon Anderson and Karpen’s criminal defense attorney Chip Lewis, who were close family friends. Lewis later donated $25,000 to Anderson’s political campaigns.
Operation Rescue then forwarded the information about Karpen’s alleged crimes to the U.S. House Select Panel on Infant Lives that was tasked in 2015 with investigating evidence that Planned Parenthood was engaging in the illegal trafficking of aborted baby remains for profit.
On December 7, 2016, the House Select Panel referred Karpen to the Department of Justice under former Attorney General Loretta Lynch for investigation and prosecution. In 2017, the House Select Panel renewed its criminal referral of Karpen to the DOJ under Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Sullenger wrote to Sessions in August 2017, asking for him to open an investigation into Karpen’s alleged crimes, especially the allegations that he murdered babies born alive during abortions.
“The letter I received from the Department of Justice is encouraging. The photos depict wounds inflicted on those babies that could not have been done inside the womb. After having personally attended the Pennsylvania trial of Kermit Gosnell, who was convicted of murdering living babies after failed abortions, I knew we could never give up seeking prosecutions for Karpen’s similar crimes,” said Sullenger. “We are grateful for this new FBI investigation that has renewed our hope that Karpen may finally be brought to justice.”
