Early morning walks around Rome

When I'm in Rome, my city, I usually go walking every day in the morning. No traffic, no tourists, no noise and, above all, very cool weather. Starting from the Colosseum area where I live, I choose a different itinerary every day and a different architectural style to draw.
Sometimes I look for the Art Nouveau buildings and the small gems of Colle Oppio (at the top and above).
Other times it is the Renaissance and Baroque era of the Basilica of Sant'Andrea della Valle and Piazza Navona (above) ...
... with the ancient pilgrimage routes to the Vatican and the Pope, such as the Via del Pellegrino and Via Giulia (above).
Once in a while I like walking around the impressive medieval Basilica of Santi Quattro Coronati. Even today it has the appearance, surrounded by thick walls, of a military fort.
But I also like the Via Veneto and Nomentana district, with the creative vibrations of Piazza Alessandria and the nearby MACRO (Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome) in the old Peroni Beer Factory, one of the few examples of industrial architecture in the capital.
