Quick pictures of a sketchwalk

[By Paulo Mendes, Symposium Correspondent, in Porto]  It was a lovely afternoon at Ribeira. Little by little, about four dozens of sketchers gathered for a warm-up sketchwalk between the Luiz I bridge and the Symposium hub in Alfândega. It was nice to meet new sketcher friends from all over the world, along with the company of the good old local ones. A great combination!

While everibody was capturing the complexity and the bustle of Ribeira, I was sketching the sketchers. And as far as I could see, beautiful things were coming out of their sketchbooks.

On the way to Alfândega, still trying to find busy sketchers among the tourist multitude. Some of them became my victims...

I was still in the middle of the way when mostly all others were already gathering at Alfândega. So I missed that precious moment when all sketchbooks are assembled together, coming just in time for the final group photo. My last sketch, with no time for color, was made with people already dismissing. Time runs really fast!
Welcome to Porto! I'm sure this amazing city will inspire you!
