(CNSNews.com) -- A recent Harvard- Harris poll found that 61% of registered voters believe that illegal aliens with children should not be allowed to stay in the United States but “sent home” to their native country.
In the June 24-25 online survey of 1,448 registered voters, Harvard-Harris asked, “Do you think that parents with children who make it across our border illegally should be allowed to stay in the country or sent home?”
Sixty-one percent said “sent home,” and 39% said, “stay in the country.”

Fifty-three percent said, “prosecuted,” and 47% said, “not prosecuted.”
For the online survey, Harvard-Harris contacted 1,448 registered voters. “The results reflect a nationally representative sample,” said Harvard-Harris. “Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, marital status, household size, income, employment, political party, political ideology, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population. Propensity score weighting was also used to adjust for respondents’ propensity to be online.”

SOCIALIST DARLING ALEXANDRIA OCASIO-CORTEZ CALLED FOR TAX CUTS WHEN SHE WAS RUNNING A BUSINESS, NOW WANTS TO RAISE TAXES TO FUND HER RADICAL AGENDA

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the upstart Democratic Socialist who shocked the political world in the June primary when she defeated 10-term incumbent Rep. Joseph Crowley of New York, once advocated for tax cuts when she was running a business of her own, uncovered news reports from 2012 reveal.
Ocasio-Cortez, 28, is a dues-paying member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), an organization that calls for the abolishment of capitalism and argues that “private corporate property is not only wrong, but also nonsensical.” Her campaign platform calls for instituting a single-payer health care system, a federal jobs guarantee and housing as a human right, radical and expensive policies she says will be funded through raising taxes on corporations and high-income Americans.
But Ocasio-Cortez appeared to have a different outlook on capitalism and taxes in 2012 when she was running a business of her own, Brook Avenue Press, an incorporated publishing firm for children’s books set in the Bronx. As a business owner, she came out in support of a bill that would provide tax deductions for business start-up costs, arguing that taxes directly impacted her business profits.
“You don’t really make a profit in your first year,” Ocasio-Cortez told the now-defunct DNAinfo when she was 22. “To get taxed on top of that is a real whammy.”
Ocasio-Cortez was then a member of the Sunshine Bronx Business Incubator, a city-sponsored business hub that attracted dozens of entrepreneurs trying to get their businesses off the ground.
“You see a huge return on your investment here,” Ocasio-Cortez told the New York Daily News of her involvement with the Business Incubator. “People pay $500 an hour for consulting that we get for free by the water cooler.”
During her time in the business world, the self-proclaimed socialist tweeted out multiple articles by Paul Graham, an English-born entrepreneur and venture capitalist.

She even gave entrepreneurial talks at Boston University, her alma mater, where she touted her partnership with the Sunshine Bronx Business Incubator designing “entrepreneurial curricula for those interested in launching their own enterprises.” Her primary interests were in “entrepreneurship and developing innovative, healthy, enterprising communities for generations to come,” according to her speaker page on Boston University’s website. Ocasio-Cortez’s talk of the values of entrepreneurship, profits and lower taxes in 2012 are antithetical to the values she now espouses as a member of the DSA, an organization that marches the streets calling for the abolishment of profit.
Ocasio-Cortez now rails against laws that cut taxes for businesses, such as the tax reform bill signed into law in December, which has been widely praised by small businesses. She claims the tax savings produced by the bill could have paid for health care and free public college for every American.
The enterprising capitalist-turned-socialist is now being touted by high-ranking Democrats as the future of the party.

Liberals are nothing if not consistent in their hypocrisy and double standards.
With the left sufficiently whipped into a frenzy over the treatment of illegal alien children, CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill saw little wrong with a 30-year-old man attacking a 16-year-old boy for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
The liberal pundit first responded to a tweet from TMZ producer Van Lathan, which condoned attacking the child — Hill’s response was a series of emojis laughing until they cried.
“Wish I could take the high road. But your MAGA hat reads like a swastika to me. So ummm … hmmm. Yeah. Maybe I’m no longer a decent person,” Lathan tweeted.

After being called out Hill, a Temple University professor, tweeted:
“I actually don’t advocate throwing drinks on people. Not at all. But yes, i think MAGA hats (deliberately) reflect a movement that conjures racism, homophobia, xenophobia, etc. So yes, it’s a little harder to feel sympathy when someone gets Coca Cola thrown on him.”

Hill was responding to an incident that took place on Tuesday night at a San Antonio, Texas, Whataburger, where a grown man attacked a group of teenagers because one of the boys was wearing a MAGA hat.
The tough guy, later identified as Kino Jimenez, grabbed the hat and threw a drink in the teen’s face.

An act of aggression that Hill did not lose any sleep over, even though the victim was but a child. Albeit a child that supported President Donald Trump. And white.
No it wouldn’t be. And, AGAIN, I’m not saying it’s ok to trash the person with the MAGA hat. It’s wrong. That’s why I don’t do it. But no, I didn’t lose much sleep over it. And by “much,” I mean any...
Notice the consistent tactic on the left of first declaring what the hat represents, based on their warped interpretation, before spewing intolerance for the political beliefs of others.
The two were not alone in a thought process that rings of fascism, coming from those so eager to toss the term around.

Trump: I would offer Warren $1M to prove her Native American heritage
President Trump said Thursday that if he were facing Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) during a debate, he would offer her $1 million to take a test to prove her Native American heritage.
“But let’s say I’m debating Pocahontas, I’ll do this,” Trump said during a campaign rally in Great Falls, Mont., referring to Warren by the racially charged nickname he gave her during the 2016 presidential campaign.
“I promise you I’ll do this, you know those little kits they sell on television for $2? Learn your heritage,” Trump said.
“I’m going to get one of those little kits and in the middle of the debate, when she proclaims she’s of Indian heritage — because her mother said she has high cheekbones, that’s her only evidence," Trump continued.
“We will take that little kit, we have to do it gently because we’re in the "Me Too" generation, we have to be very gentle,” Trump said mocking the movement that seeks to expose sexual misconduct in media, entertainment and politics.
“We will very gently take that kit and we will slowly toss it, hoping it doesn’t hit her and injure her arm, even though it only weighs probably 2 oz,” he said.
“And we will say, ‘I will give you a million dollars, paid for by Trump, to your favorite charity if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian,” Trump said. “And we’ll see what she does. I have a feeling she will say no but we will hold it for the debates.”
Trump has repeatedly attacked Warren as "Pocahontas," most recently doing so at a campaign rally last month in Nevada.
During Thursday's rally, the president said he wouldn't apologize to Warren for using the term, but he would apologize to Pocahontas herself.
"Pocahontas, I apologize to you," Trump said Thursday. "To the fake Pocahontas, I won’t," he added, referring to Warren.
Warren fired back at Trump on Twitter, accusing him of obsessing over her "genes" while his administration conducts "DNA tests on little kids because you ripped them from their mamas & you are too incompetent to reunite them in time to meet a court order."
"Maybe you should focus on fixing the lives you're destroying," she added.
Warren has acknowledged her past claims that she is of Native American heritage.
“Look, I do know. I know who I am. And never used it for anything. Never got any benefit from it anywhere," Warren said earlier this year.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: America is Committing ‘International Human Rights Abuses’ at Border
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Twitter)Socialist Democrat candidate for Congress Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says the United States is currently committing “international human rights abuses” at the U.S.-Mexico border because of President Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy.
In an interview with Al Jazeera’s AJ+, Ocasio said the U.S. is currently involved in crimes against humanity by criminally prosecuting all border crossers at the southern border.

“Right now, the nation that we are living in is a country that … an administration that has committed international human rights abuses by separating children from their parents,” Ocasio told Al Jazeera. “That is being done in our name. Once something that extreme happens, we have to act immediately.”
Ocasio accused Americans of becoming increasingly bigotted because of policies like Trump’s travel ban from some Muslim-majority countries — which was recently upheld by the Supreme Court.
“What the administration is doing is racializing the fight over immigration,” Ocasio said. “And that is stoking an increased sense of bigotry in the country. And so there is absolutely a connection and that is why I think we have to be in solidarity with each other.”
A plurality of Americans say they support Trump’s zero tolerance policy at the border, which now detains illegal alien adults and the children with whom they crossed into the U.S.
In a 2014 poll, a majority of swing voters and GOP voters said that even migrants described as “children” should be deported “as soon as possible,” as Breitbart News’s Neil Munro reported at the time. The poll indicated that in the midst of this border crisis, Americans by a majority support tougher than usual border policies.
Detaining child border crossers was a policy during the Obama administration, when Breitbart Texas exclusively reported on the conditions in which unaccompanied minors were being packed into crowded cells and holding facilities. As Breitbart News most recently reported, the U.S. has been separating child border crossers from the illegal alien adults they arrived with since before 2001.
STRONG JOB NUMBERS REPORT ANOTHER KICK IN THE CROTCH FOR DEMS

In four months voters will go to the polls to determine who controls Congress in what is being promoted as the most critical midterm election in the nation’s history.
As of today, all of those smug smirks have been completely wiped off the faces of Democrats and their media toadies who have all but stopped referring to that “blue wave” that was going to be the mandate on the reversal of the 2016 election and the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
But funny thing happened on the way to the gallows, the Dems began losing ground with the electorate after their big Russian collusion scam fizzled well short of the finish line. In addition, Trump’s policies have energized the economy and unless you are a lazy slacker or shameless moocher like a member of the Democrat base, that is one of the real issues that real Americans truly care about.
Not only have the Democrats not spoken in positive terms of what they would do to bolster the job market, fix the disastrous health insurance system or provide for a better future for the children of voters, they have done the exact opposite.
Party leaders like Nancy Pelosi have vowed to raise taxes if she regains the Speaker’s gavel, they have turned to the promotion of socialism as an alternative and the only children that they give a rat’s ass about are illegal aliens. This in addition to race-baiting, calls for violence and spewing wacky conspiracy theories none of which are characteristics of a healthy – or sane – political party.
The latest jobs report is only going to make their job tougher to prove to the American people why they deserve to be returned to power and why they should impeach the legitimately elected president.
The numbers are very grim for Dems with an addition of 213,000 last month according to the Labor Department.

The numbers are off just a tad from May but that could be expected with a good deal of the hiring for seasonal summer jobs having to take place before June.
The U.S. economy added a higher-than-expected number of jobs in June, with 213,000 positions created versus analysts’ expectations for 195,000.
The unemployment rate moved higher, off an 18-year low, to 4% from May’s 3.8%. Economists say the slight move higher is a positive as it reflects more workers entering the workforce after sitting on the sidelines, drawn by the plethora of jobs. In June, 601,000 Americans entered the labor force, and not all found jobs.
This trend comes as companies are bemoaning the lack of available labor.
And Nancy Pelosi just vomited into her oatmeal.
