Mollie Tibbetts’ Illegal Alien Killer Has An Anchor Baby
This week the case of missing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts had a tragic end when America learned that she’d been murdered by 24-year-old illegal alien Cristhian Rivera.
Tibbetts had gone missing last month and the search for her made national news. Police identified Rivera as a suspect when they reviewed video surveillance footage of Mollie jogging on the night she went missing and captured Tibbett’s vehicle on that footage. Rivera would later lead investigators to Tibbett’s body.
Rivera’s immigration status has been utilized by President Donald Trump and some other Republican lawmakers to highlight the need to secure our border, and it is a fact that illegal immigrants commit crimes at higher rates than native-born Americans.
Illegals like Rivera can be deported – but their offspring cannot thanks to birthright citizenship.
According to Breitbart, “Rivera lived in a region of Iowa that was surrounded by sanctuary cities. Police have previously noted that Rivera has been living in the U.S. illegally for the past four to seven years. A new report reveals that the illegal alien has a U.S.-born child with one of Tibbetts’ former high school classmates.” The child was born in 2015, and his mother was seen cradling him during Rivera’s first court appearance.
There are at least 4.5 million anchor babies younger than 18-years-old in the U.S. according to the Congressional Budget Office, and that obviously doesn’t include the millions older than 18.
Combating illegal immigration used to be a bipartisan issue, but in the age of Trump, the Left has gone haywire and refused any common sense attempts at reforming our immigration system and enforcing current laws. “We have to send a clear message, just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay,” said Hillary Clinton of child separations on the border as recently as 2014.
Even Harry Reid once introduced a bill that would clarify language in the Fourteenth Amendment, with the goal of ending birthright citizenship. “No sane country would permit birthright citizenship,” Reid said on the Senate floor to promote the bill at the time. The original intent of the 14th Amendment was to give citizenship to former slaves after the Civil War, and the right to due process. Birthright citizenship was never meant to be a loophole for illegal immigrants to have legally born children in the U.S.
Ocasio-Cortez Campaign Spends Nearly $4,000 on Uber After Blaming Company’s Success for Taxi Driver Suicides
BY: Cameron Cawthorne
New York congressional candidate and Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has repeatedly castigated ride-sharing giant Uber and blamed its "unregulated expansion" after a yellow cab driver commited suicide, but her campaign has taken nearly $4,000 worth of Uber rides between April and late June.
Ocasio-Cortez, who became a household name after defeating Democratic incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley (D., N.Y.) back in June, has criticized Uber several times on Twitter as recently as March, in a post flagged by Fox News.
"NYC's fourth driver suicide. Yellow cab drivers are in financial ruin due to the unregulated expansion of Uber. What was a living wage job now pays under minimum," she tweeted.
NYC's fourth driver suicide. Yellow cab drivers are in financial ruin due to the unregulated expansion of Uber. What was a living wage job now pays under minimum.
We need:
- to call Uber drivers what they are: EMPLOYEES, not contractors
- Fed jobs guarantee
- Prep for automation

The yellow cab driver, Doug Schifter, killed himself with a shotgun amid financial difficulties in response to multiple cheaper alternatives to the yellow taxi, as addressed in his Facebook status.
Ocasio-Cortez's campaign staff recorded spending nearly $4,000 on 160 Uber rides between April and late June, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records. The Uber payments ranged from just 59 cents to $82.26 and were filed under "car service," according to Fox.
In her home state of New York, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign doesn’t use the traditional yellow cabs for getting around either.
The FEC records show that the campaign spent nearly $2,500 for more than 90 rides with the so-called ride-sharing startup company Juno that pitched itself as an alternative to Uber for drivers as it offered slightly better pay and an option to accumulate the company’s stock. There’s no data yet for any rides taken by the Ocasio-Cortez campaign in July and August.
But the "driver-friendly" startup is barely any better for drivers than other ride-sharing companies. It was sold in April to Israel-based Gett for $200 million and immediately came under fire for scrapping the stock unit program for its drivers.
This prompted a class action by Juno drivers. "Plaintiffs were victims of the classic ‘bait and switch’ scheme – promised equity and then paid off at pennies on the dollar when all other shareholders/investors made out handsomely," the suit reads.

Eric Swalwell burned by ‘fake news,’ floats debunked Trump Tower story in MSNBC interview
Chuck Ross, DCNF
California Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell falsely claimed Thursday that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen has information that President Donald Trump had foreknowledge of the Trump Tower meeting with Russians in June 2016.
In an interview with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace, Swalwell appeared to cite a CNN report from July that Cohen was present at a conference when Trump approved the meeting between his son and a group of Russians offering dirt on former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
“It is clear that Michael Cohen was not truthful with the House Intelligence Committee, which is all the more reason that we never should have ended our investigation. It now sounds like, listening to Mr. Davis, that Mr. Cohen does have information about what candidate Trump knew about the Russians offering dirt on Hillary Clinton in the meeting they set up at Trump Tower,” said Swalwell, a Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.
The only problem with Swalwell’s claim is that Cohen’s attorney, Lanny Davis, debunked the CNN report Wednesday.
Davis said in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper that the July 27 CNN report was “mixed up” and that Cohen did not know about the Trump Tower meeting before it occurred. Davis also said Cohen did not know whether Trump knew about the meeting.
“So Michael Cohen does not have information that President Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting with the Russians beforehand or even after?” CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Davis in an interview.
“No, he does not,” replied Davis.
“We were not the source of the story. And the question of a criminal investigation, the advice we were given, those of us dealing with the media is that we could not do anything other than stay silent,” said Davis, a longtime ally of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Wallace did not correct Swalwell’s false claim.

Democrats Were Caught In A Lie That Exposed Their Biggest Fear For 2018
Democrats Were Caught In A Lie That Exposed Their Biggest Fear For 2018
The Democrat National Committee filed a report saying hackers had targeted their voter files.
But the Democrats were caught in this lie and it’s sent party leaders running for cover.
Democrats Report An Attempted Hack
Democrats reported to the FBI that hackers tried to break into their voter files.
Officials said hackers launched a “phishing” attack where hackers send an email that looks like a real page asking the target to sign in.
Once the target signs in, the hackers steal their password.
“We believe that this was the beginning of a sophisticated attempt to hack into our voter file and we are treating it as such,” a top Democrat told the Wall Street Journal.
Journalists pounced on the story and fed the fear that Russians were interfering in the election.
Democrats use alleged Russian meddling as an excuse for losing in 2016.
Robert Mueller charged 12 Russians with hacking the Democrat National Committee emails.
But Mueller’s case will never be tried because the Russians will not travel to America to answer the charges.
Trump supporters are doubting the Russian hacking story.
The Nation magazine ran a story last year where experts said the Democrats were not hacked.
These experts stated a leaker inside the DNC stole the emails.
The Hacking Story Collapses
The Democrat’s claim of being hacked fell apart within 48 hours.
Experts found that the recent cyberattack was actually a security test.
Bob Lord, who is in charge of the DNC’s information security stated, “There are constant attempts to hack the DNC and our Democratic infrastructure, and while we are extremely relieved that this wasn’t an attempted intrusion by a foreign adversary, this incident is further proof that we need to continue to be vigilant in the light of potential attacks.”
The Wall Street Journal reported that a group that works with the Michigan Democrat Party ran the test.
Critics question the timing of the report.
Anti-Trump reporters seized on the story and claimed the Russians would meddle in the 2018 midterms.
They claimed there could be a repeat of 2016, where the media believes the Russians stole the election from Hillary Clinton.
Reporters use stories about hacking to put Republicans on their heels.
Liberals believe any report about hacking means Republicans are working with Russians to rig the election.
The media pushes these stories to whip up Democrat voter zeal.
Why 2018 Is So Important
Democrats will pull out all the stops to win in 2018.
The left will use fake news about email hacks to gin up base voter turnout.
That is because Democrats must win this election.
President Trump is enacting his agenda and making America great again.
Democrats only chance to stop him is winning the midterm elections.
If Republicans hold on, Trump is set up to win re-election in 2020.
That is why Republicans expect more fake news stories about email hacks in the run up to November.
We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this story.
Here Are the Republican Senators Who Just Voted Against Defunding Planned Parenthood
Here Are the Republican Senators Who Just Voted Against Defunding Planned Parenthood
“The Senate rejected an effort by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., to attach a provision blocking federal funding for Planned Parenthood to a massive government spending bill,” The Hillreported after the Thursday vote.
The two Republicans who voted with Democrats in blocking the bill probably won’t come as a surprise to you — Sens. Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, RINOs so massive one might otherwise expect to see them in an enclosure in the Smithsonian’s National Zoo.
First there are those who won’t. Sen. John McCain of Arizona clearly has more important things to take care of at this juncture of his life than being present in the upper chamber for votes and his absence on this issue is more than excusable.
Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee, meanwhile, is quitting in January and is in some sort of demented quest to punish the Republican Party since he’s not running for re-election in 2018 because he doth not like President Trump. Back when he was more concerned with re-election, Corker co-sponsored a 2015 bill that would have defunded the abortion organization.
“Like so many Tennesseans, I am deeply disturbed not only by the alarming content of the video footage (from the Center for Medical Progress) showing Planned Parenthood’s role in harvesting the organs of unborn babies, but also the organization’s casual disregard for human life,” said Corker. “I am a cosponsor of this legislation and hope the Senate will act swiftly to defund the organization and ensure no taxpayer dollars are being used in this manner.”
Others might surprise you. Sen. Deb Fischer of Nebraska isn’t exactly known as a pro-choice Republican. “I am proud to be pro-life and have a 100% pro-life voting record in my 8 years in the Nebraska Legislature. I will continue to support a culture of life by supporting pro-life policies in U.S. Senate,” Fischer said in her 2012 campaign, according to OnTheIssues.org.
That also would have meant Collins and Murkowski would have had to have rethought their vote or similar votes in the future. Add in other Democrats in states where abortion is deeply unpopular but aren’t up for election this year — Doug Jones of Alabama comes immediately to mind — and you would get close enough to that 60-vote threshold to make a difference.
At the very least, you could have at least have forced these individuals to have lived up to their promise to defund Planned Parenthood, a promise they’ve made since time immemorial, and which few aside from Rand Paul seemed interested in chastising his own party for breaking
Here we go again… Chicago police have made just one arrest in violent weekend crime spree that killed 12, injured 75
Chicago Police have arrested just one suspect in a violent crime spree that left 75 people wounded and 12 dead during the first weekend of August, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Rick Franklin, 27, is the only person arrested during a string of shootings in the city, the report stated. He was charged with one count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, armed habitual felon, and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
Aside from Franklin, the department reports making progress on about five other shootings from the same weekend.
The Tribune reported that it is continuing to analyze the challenges police face in solving the crimes. The newspaper is also studying the impact that unsolved shootings could have on the crime-laden city.
What is the problem?
Following the crime spree, Superintendent Eddie Johnson and Mayor Rahm Emanuel asked Chicagoans to step up and reveal the shooters’ identities. City leaders say they are facing a number of challenges in solving the crimes, including a lack of victim cooperation, distrust of the police and fear of retaliation from gang warfare, the report stated.
Police department leaders told the Tribune that some people are choosing to take matters into their own hands instead of relying on the police or court system to obtain justice.
A lack of cooperation is also blamed for the dismal progress. In one of the cases from earlier this month, an alleged shooter was arrested but the victim is refusing to cooperate.
The police department’s so-called clearance rate for solving homicides was about 17 percent in 2017, and remains about as low for 2018. In 2016, just 5 percent of shootings were cleared, according to the report.
Some of the proposed remedies include “improving supervision and oversight of police, reducing caseloads for detectives, quick evidence examination and strengthening the relationship between officers and residents so that people feel comfortable talking to officers,” according to the report.
Johnson told the news outlet that officers must work harder to get the community’s trust.
“We have to continue to get out in the community, engage them and know them better,” Johnson said. “We have to just be better at building relationships with people to make them more comfortable to talk to us.”
Brendan Deenihan, deputy chief in the detective division, told the newspaper:
Other cities are a lot better than us. And we have to take ownership for our low clearance rate, and I understand that. And we will do so. However, every single study I have read, the most difficult cases to solve are outside violence with a handgun, gang involvement. And, unfortunately, in the city of Chicago that is the vast number of shootings.
What are people saying?
The problems are not new to Ronald Holt, a retired Chicago police commander, was the head of the department’s community policing program.
He told the news outlet he once begged the Chicago Housing Authority to help move the family of a woman who came forward as a witness to a crime.
“If people don’t have protection…and they think that they’re not going to be protected after they’re witnesses in the case,” Holt said, “you know, it’s like, ‘Man, we’re on our own now. So what do we do?’”
Holt’s son, 16-year-old Blair Holt, was killed in a fatal shooting on a CTA bus in 2007. His son’s killer was caught and convicted.
Police told the Tribune they are continuing to work on solving the cases from earlier this month.
