Bad Blood: Judge Kavanaugh’s Mother Foreclosed on Far Left Accuser’s Parents’ Home
Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee are working overtime to delay Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.
On Thursday, ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) referred a mysterious letter about Kavanaugh to the FBI.
Feinstein had been holding on to the letter since earlier this year.
It turns out the woman who sent the letter to Democrat lawmakers – Christine Blasey – is a far-left activist.

Independent journalist Mike Cernovich says Christine Blasey is a far-left activist who spent all weekend deleting her social media accounts.
Christine Blasey is a far left wing activist who spent all weekend deleting her social media accounts. I didn’t name her because that wouldn’t have been nice, but this is straight activism on her part.
The only other witness to the alleged attack said it never happened and the allegations are “absolutely nuts.”
On Monday morning Judge Brett Kavanaugh responded to the allegations.
And now this…

KAVANAUGH’S MOTHER PRESIDED OVER FORECLOSURE OF ACCUSER’S FAMILY HOME. BUT THE FACTS ARE COMPLICATE
Kevin Daley and Andrew Kerr | Contributor
Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s mother, a state court judge in Maryland, briefly presided over the foreclosure of a property owned by the parents of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the California researcher who accused the Supreme Court nominee of sexual assault.
A Daily Caller News Foundation investigation shows Judge Martha Kavanaugh was connected to a foreclosure action implicating the Blaseys, but her involvement was minimal and never resulted in seizure of the property at issue.
Maryland court records show that Judge Martha Kavanaugh issued rulings in an action initiated in 1996 by the United Mortgage & Loan Investment Corp (UMLIC) to foreclose on a Potomac, Maryland, property owned by Ralph and Paula Blasey — Ford’s parents.
The foreclosure case took place some 15 years after the events Ford alleges with Brett Kavanaugh.
The case was adjudicated in the Montgomery County Circuit Court. Public records show that Martha Kavanaugh did not rule on decisions related to possible seizure of the property. Rather, it appears the Blaseys reached a settlement with their bank before their property was lost.
Martha Kavanaugh granted uncontested motions brought by UMLIC to dismiss the case after the settlement was reached. This appears to be the extent of her involvement in the matter. Other judges handled the case in its earlier phases.
The full court records were not available for review.

Maryland land records show that Ralph and Paula Blasey purchased the property in 1977. The family currently retains ownership of the property via the Blasey Family Trust.
Public records reviewed by TheDCNF link Ford with the Potomac property, which is less than six miles away from the all-girls Holton-Arms School in Bethesda that she attended at the time of the alleged sexual assault.
In its report detailing the allegations, The Washington Post noted that Ford was afraid to tell her parents about the incident. She alleged that Brett Kavanaugh held her down on a bed and groped her at a suburban Maryland house party in the early 1980s when the two were teenagers.
She said through her lawyer that she is willing to appear before the Senate Committee on the Judiciary to testify about the alleged incident.
Brett Kavanaugh denied the allegations in a statement Monday.
“This is a completely false allegation. I have never done anything like what the accuser describes — to her or to anyone,” he said. “Because this never happened, I had no idea who was making this accusation until she identified herself yesterday.”
“I am willing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee in any way the Committee deems appropriate to refute this false allegation, from 36 years ago, and defend my integrity,” he added.

Virginia Hume: Kavanaugh letter not prepared in advance
by patriotalerts

Virginia Hume is the daughter of Fox News star Brit Hume, but that’s not the only reason she’s in the limelight these days.
She’s also the signer of a bombshell letter from herself and 64 other women who knew Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh during high school. And now, she’s explaining why she did it.
Last Minute Smear
Brett Kavanaugh has been subjected to a grueling confirmation process since his nomination to fill the Supreme Court vacancy caused by Anthony Kennedy’s retirement. His hearings have been some of the most contentious in history, but despite the temper tantrums thrown by liberal activists and their lapdogs, Sens. Kamala Harris and Cory Booker, Kavanaugh appeared set to sail through unscathed.
That was before the Democrats latest dirty trick. In a disgraceful exhibition of gutter politics, Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein released a statement confirming that she possessed a letter alleging sexual misconduct by Kavanaugh in high school.
The letter was written by an individual who declined to press charges or stand behind her statements. That may have been why Feinstein sat on the letter for months.
In other words, it was an anonymous hit job so transparent that even Feinstein didn’t think it was ok to publish.
The Response
Shortly after Feinstein’s smear, Kavanaugh’s camp hit back with a letter from 65 women who knew him in high school, testifying to his good character. The fact that he was able to receive such strong support in such a short amount of time is telling of his good character and reputation.
But to the inflamed activists on the left, the rapid response was itself suspicious. In their fevered imaginations, the fact that the letter appeared so quickly after the allegations indicated that the Kavanaugh camp must have prepared it beforehand, meaning that the incident was real enough for Kavanaugh to prepare a response for.
That theory is now debunked. Virginia Hume puts it this way:
The letter was conceived and drafted by friends of Brett’s, and it was drafted after allegations came out on Thursday. I learned about the letter from a friend and fellow signatory. Others learned about it the same way. Those surprised at the speed with which it came together should see it as yet another testament to Brett’s excellent reputation.
She makes a good point. How many of us could get 65 people from high school to testify to our good character in a matter of a couple days?
Democrat Shame
Democrats should be ashamed of their disgusting tactics in this case.
To them, the vicious anonymous smear on a good man’s character is justified, simply because he doesn’t agree with their politics.
To top it all off, these sort of smears almost guarantee that when actually credible allegations against powerful abusers are revealed, they’ll be more likely to be disbelieved. Americans simply don’t know who to trust.
One thing is certain: they can’t trust the Democrats – or the media.
Chuck Grassley: Kavanaugh accuser will be heard in 'appropriate, precedented and respectful manner'
by Susan Ferrechio

The woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of attempted sexual assault will be heard by the Senate, Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, announced Monday.
“Anyone who comes forward as Dr. Ford has deserves to be heard, so I will continue working on a way to hear her out in an appropriate, precedented and respectful manner,” Grassley said in a statement.
Grassley did not indicate whether he would convene a public or closed-door hearing on the matter, which some lawmakers are demanding. In addition to many Senate Democrats, Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, also said Monday she wants a formal hearing to address the allegations.
Grassley indicated that up until now, he has relied on using "standard procedure" for follow-up questions, which is to conduct follow-up calls with Kavanaugh and the accuser. But he noted the panel’s top Democrat, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., has refused to participate.
“But as a necessary step in evaluating these claims, I’ll continue working to set them up,” Grassley said.
Grassley had scheduled a Thursday vote to advance the nomination. The vote was still on the schedule as of Monday morning, but it could change if more demands for a hearing are made.
Grassley also criticized Feinstein for withholding the allegations for six weeks and for then leaking them to the media despite the desire of accuser Christine Ford Blasey to keep them private. He said Blasey could have alerted his office to the allegations but did not do so.
"The Minority withheld even the anonymous allegations for six weeks, only to later decide that they were serious enough to investigate on the eve of the committee vote, after the vetting process had been completed," he said.
Joe Biden: 'Dregs of society' support Donald Trump
By Jessica Chasmar - The Washington Times
Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden assailed President Trump’s supporters during a speech Saturday at the annual Human Rights Campaign dinner in Washington, lamenting that “virulent people” and the “dregs of society” still had a friend in the White House.
Mr. Biden told an enthusiastic crowd of LGBTQ rights advocates that social conservatives at home and abroad who used religion or culture as a “license to discriminate” were committing a “crime” of prejudice.
“Despite losing in the courts and in the court of public opinion, these forces of intolerance remain determined to undermine and roll back the progress you all have made,” he argued. “This time they — not you — have an ally in the White House.
“They’re a small percentage of the American people, virulent people,” he continued. “Some of them the dregs of society. And instead of using the full might of the executive branch to secure justice, dignity [and] safety for all, the president uses the White House as a literal, literal bully pulpit, callously exerting his power over those who have little or none.”
Many conservatives on Twitter compared Mr. Biden’s remarks to Hillary Clinton calling Trump supporters “deplorables” during the 2016 presidential election.
Mr. Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., said the former vice president’s statements went “too far.”G’ day…Ciao…
