How Eisenhower Dealt With America’s First Illegal Crisis
This is not the first time the US has dealt with an illegal immigration problem. Only last time it was dealt with in a decidedly swifter and sterner manner. The response, coordinated by President Dwight Eisenhower, resulted in nearly 3 million illegal immigrants being sent home.
During his administration, Eisenhower became the first American president forced to deal with problems stemming from illegal immigration. Only, in Eisenhower’s time the politically correct culture of liberal sensitivities had yet to emerge.
There was not much in the way of sympathy for those who had crossed into the country illegally.
Eisenhower told the New York Times exactly what had caused the problem: “The rise in illegal border crossing by Mexicans [illegal immigrants] to a current rate of more than 1 million cases a year has been accompanied by a curious relaxation in ethical standards extending all the way from the farmer-exploiters of this contraband labor to the highest levels of the federal government.”
‘Ike’ took quick and decisive action. He used 1,075 Border Patrol Agents to seal the border. In doing so, he achieved a task our government today deems impossible with a force that is 10% larger. Once the border was sealed, Eisenhower went about the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens.
In June of 1954, he appointed retired General Joseph “Jumpin’ Joe” Swing to head “Operation Wetback,” which sent local and federal officials on sweeps of Mexican neighborhoods looking for illegals.
Within one month 50,000 illegals had been captured and deported, while nearly half a million more fled the country to avoid arrest. By September 80,000 more illegals had been removed from the state of Texas alone, and between 500,000-700,000 more had fled the country.
These illegals weren’t just dropped at the border; Swing arranged for buses and trains to take immigrants deep into Mexico before releasing them. Tens of thousands more were shipped by boat from Texas to Vera Cruz, Mexico.
Using less man power and resources than the federal government has today, Eisenhower was able to seal the border and send nearly 3 million illegal aliens home. The policy had the added effectiveness of deterring future illegal crossings.
Whereas today illegal immigrants are given government aid and college tuition, policies which have undoubtedly contributed to an increase in illegal immigration.
The economic effects aside, the level of illegal immigration today represents a grave national security concern.
Whereas Eisenhower’s policies deterred such activity, President Obama’s policies only further encourage the flow of undocumented persons over our southern border.
Violent Democrats Sending Voters To GOP
Richard A Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
An article in the October 16 issue of the Washington Post, the top Democrat newspaper, carries the headline: “President Trump is nationalizing the midterm elections. That’s a big mistake.” This is disguised as friendly advice, as we can see from the subtitle: “Trump is following the path that got Woodrow Wilson clobbered.”
President Trump and Republicans everywhere: Beware of free (and unsolicited) advice from the Washington Post! The historical analogy is dubious, but we don’t have to go into that here. The real purpose of the article is found at the end, where we are told that the nation is enduring “Trump fatigue,” which is “largely a product of the ringmaster’s perpetual circus: noise, shock and vulgar spectacle.” Then the conclusion that “many voters don’t care so much about whether America can be great again—only that it can be quiet.”
“Quiet.” Of course what the writer and the Washington Post mean is that the President and Republicans should be quiet. As in acquiesce. There is no call for the radicalized Democrats and their leftist mobs to be quiet. Their violence and harassments are not even mentioned.
The Democrats and their leftist mobs are in panic mode. The few who have a smidgeon of lucidity left realize that their screaming antics during the Kavanaugh hearings and throughout the campaign are backfiring on them. President Trump refuses to be “quiet” like so many GOP figures before him; he fights back at every opportunity. And encouraged by his leadership, conservatives and Republicans are energized as never before.
Yes, the public does want quiet—an end to the screaming and shouting by the Democrats’ leftist mobs, the violent demonstrations, the character assassinations (as with Kavanaugh), the invasions of personal and family privacy, and all their other harassments of their political opponents that make a mockery of the democratic process.
Conservatives and Republicans must continue to brand the Democrats as the party that has been taken over by this thuggery. Below is a partial listing of examples of the violence and vengeful mentality of the Democrats’ mobs. Add more examples that you know of.
Then email this list to your family and friends, the members of your church and civic organizations, warning them that this is the mob that wants to take over Congress next month. Start a blog (if you haven’t done so already), post on Facebook and the other social media, and in letters to the editor and the comments sections of articles and websites. Call in to the radio and TV shows you follow. Talk to candidates about making this a key theme in the final weeks of the election. AND DO THIS CONSTANTLY UNTIL ELECTION DAY.
Examples of violence and intimidation by the Democrats and their mobs (partial listing):
-
* The head of the Center for Popular Democracy Action urged protestors to disrupt the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings: “These are not normal times.” And they did, with help from Women’s March, NARAL, and other groups, and with more than 200 protestors arrested.
-
-
* A man, identified as a left-wing activist who hated Republicans, opens fire on a GOP congressional baseball team practicing for a charity game. House Majority Whip was nearly killed in the attack.
-
* The Republican office in Laramie, Wyoming, is set on fire just two days after opening. Police believe the fire was set intentionally.
-
-
* A brick is thrown through the window of a GOP office in Lincoln, Nebraska. This message spray-painted beneath it: “Abolish ICE.”
-
-
* A GOP office in North Carolina is firebombed a month before the 2016 election. The building next to it is spray painted with graffiti: “Nazi Republicans get out of town or else.”
-
-
* Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters urges liberals: “If you see anybody from that [Trump] cabinet in a restaurant, in department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. Tell them they’re not welcome any more, anywhere!”
-
-
* Trump’s Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen is hounded out of a Mexican restaurant, then is harassed at her home. Democrats applaud their harassments.
-
-
* Similarly, Trump advisor Stephen Miller is chased out of a Mexican restaurant and is called a “fascist.” Three days later, Univision-owned news site Splinter publishes his personal cell phone number to the public.
-
-
* An article in the pro-Democrat, anti-Trump Huffington Post urges protestors to harass Trump supporters at restaurants, in shopping centers, and at their homes. The article is quickly shared more than 29,000 times.
-
-
* Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, a prominent Trump ally, is driven out of a theater by protestors who surrounded her and followed her all the way to a waiting vehicle.
-
-
* A popular parade in Portland, Oregon, known for leftist violence, is cancelled after threatened violence against a local GOP group participating in the parade. An email warns: “You have seen how much power we have downtown and that the police cannot stop us from shutting down roads so please consider your decision wisely.”
-
-
* Anti-Trump “resistance” leaders urge “direct action” tactics in pursuit of their goal of becoming “an ungovernable force.”
-
-
* In Seattle, a protestor takes to a megaphone to advocate a “need to start killing people” and to “start killing the White House.”
-
-
* Police in Tennessee charge a woman with felony reckless endangerment for allegedly trying to run a Republican congressman off the road after a town hall.
-
-
* U.S. Capitol Police arrest a male Democrat staffer from the PAC American Bridge for pushing a female Interior Department official to the floor and then chasing after Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke.
-
-
*In Louisiana, a leaked audio obtained by a local radio station reveals their detailed tactics for disrupting a town hall by a Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy.
* A left-wing New York University professor creates a database of personal information on ICE employees, which is picked up by Antifa. Homeland Security has formally classified their activities as “domestic terrorist violence.”
-
* FCC Chairman Ajit Pai’s children become the target of left-wing protestors, who place signs outside the family home aimed at them with messages such as “Dad murdered Democracy in cold blood.” He appeals for civility, but a month later has to cut short a speech because of a bomb threat.
-
-
* The 71-year-old female manager of conservative Rep. Dana Rohrabacher’s Huntington Beach office was knocked unconscious and taken to a hospital during a protest by the group Indivisible.
-
-
* Broadway and TV actress Carole Cook, referring to President Trump, asks “Where’s John Wilkes Booth when you need him?” When asked if she thought Trump should be assassinated, she replied, “Why not?”
-
-
* D.C. police rush to the Trump International Hotel in Washington in response to an anonymous threat to shoot up a meeting supporting the president.
-
-
* In Castro Valley, California, an attempt is made to stab a Republican congressional candidate with a switchblade, the man shouting obscenities against the GOP and President Trump.
-
-
* After a tweet denouncing the abortion movement, Fox News guest Denise McAllister is forced into hiding after receiving multiple death and rape threats. “My children are very frightened,” she said.
-
-
* Hillary Clinton weighs in: “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about… That's why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that's when civility can start again." (In other words, civility only occurs when Democrats are in power. When they are out of power, anything goes.)

Trump Threatens To Deploy Troops To Southern Border
by: TTN Staff
A migrant caravan is heading towards the southern border and President Trump is not happy. The current caravan started in Honduras before making the long trek to the United States border.
According to Fox News:
The U.S. military will "CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER" with Mexico if officials there don't soon stop the northward push of a massive migrant caravan, President Trump warned Thursday, amid reports the procession had swelled in size to about 4,000 people.
Trump's latest threat against the caravan -- which originated in Honduras and is bound for the U.S. in a bid to escape pervasive poverty and violence – comes as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo heads to Central America to discuss the issue.
“I am watching the Democrat Party led (because they want Open Borders and existing weak laws) assault on our country by Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, whose leaders are doing little to stop this large flow of people, INCLUDING MANY CRIMINALS, from entering Mexico to U.S.,” Trump tweeted Thursday morning.
He added: “In addition to stopping all payments to these countries, which seem to have almost no control over their population, I must, in the strongest of terms, ask Mexico to stop this onslaught - and if unable to do so I will call up the U.S. Military and CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER!”
The caravan is said to have 4,000 people in it. Trump's threats seem to be working as Mexico has mobilized 500 additional police officers to help with enforcement.
Trump Requests Immediate 5% Cut to All Cabinet Departments
Facing pressure over this year’s projected $779 billion deficit, President Donald Trump has requested that the members of his cabinet find 5% cuts in their respective departments.

Trump Requests Immediate 5% Cut to All Cabinet Departments
Facing pressure over this year’s projected $779 billion deficit, President Donald Trump has requested that the members of his cabinet find 5% cuts in their respective departments.
The cuts
Trump made reference to the “penny plan” in calling for 5% cuts. The “penny plan” is a deficit reduction plan most notably advocated for by Sen. Rand Paul, would require a cut of just one penny from every dollar spent. Even after only a few years, chipping away at the budget slowly with the annual 1% cut can solve the deficit by 2023 (assuming nothing catastrophic happens to the economy in the meantime). It might be more appropriate to dub Trump’s version the “nickel plan.”
“We’re going to ask every Cabinet secretary to cut 5 percent for next year,” Trump told his Cabinet. “It’s not as tough as you think, and frankly there’s a lot of fat in there,” Trump added, while noting that “we had to get the military done last time.” Trump also blamed Democrats in part for the deficit: “In order to get that $716 billion, I had to give up things to the Democrats that I hated to give up. But we had to rebuild the military.” Trump also clarified that 5% cuts are the minimum he’s demanding from each department.
Deficits, taxes, and spending
Are tax cuts or spending to blame for the rising deficit? Both to some extent, as tax cuts should always be accompanied by spending cuts (and were not, in the most recent Trump tax cuts). Trump did offer up $54 billion in annual cuts back in 2017, but Office of Management and Budget’s Director Mick Mulvaney confirmed that they didn’t materialize. “We had offered $54 billion worth of discretionary cuts in our budget back in March. Only about 4 or 5 billion have survived so far on the hill. We’re not going to be able to cut our way to balance.” And just last June, the Senate rejected $15 billion in spending cuts that Trump requested, or $150 billion over a decade. So in that regard, blame Congress.
Back in March President Trump requested line-item veto authority after signing a $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill. If granted such a power, it would allow him to veto any discretionary spending in a budget passed by Congress that he wants to be removed.
Given how Congress never seems to reduce spending, and has rejected all cuts Trump has proposed so far, that could be the only option he has left if these 5% cuts don’t play out as expected.
Judge Slams Massive Clinton Cover Up

Judge Slams Massive Clinton Cover Up

A federal judge slammed the State Departments handling of requests for Clinton docs surrounding her misuse of classified information. The judge stated that the State Department provided "clearly false" and "misleading statements" to derail the requests.
According to Fox News:
In a combative exchange at a hearing Friday in Washington, D.C., a federal judge unabashedly accused career State Department officials of lying and signing "clearly false" affidavits to derail a series of lawsuits seeking information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private email server and her handling of the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth said he was "shocked" and "dumbfounded" when he learned that FBI had granted immunity to former Clinton chief of staff Cheryl Mills during its investigation into the use of Clinton's server, according to a court transcript of his remarks.

The Department of Justice's Inspector General (IG), Michael Horowitz, noted in a bombshell report in June that it was "inconsistent with typical investigative strategy" for the FBI to allow Mills to sit in during the agency's interview of Clinton during the email probe, given that classified information traveled through Mills' personal email account. "[T]here are serious potential ramifications when one witness attends another witness' interview," the IG wrote.
The lawsuits in question were filed by Judicial Watch and were filed in order to seek information on Clinton's response to Benghazi and Clinton's email server.

Trump Erupts Over Steele Dossier – ‘Where is Jeff Sessions?’

President Donald Trump took aim Tuesday at Glenn Simpson and Bruce Ohr, two central figures in a congressional investigation into the FBI and Justice Department’s handling of the infamous Steele dossier.
In a series of tweets, Trump noted that Simpson, the founder of opposition research firm Fusion GPS, is planning to invoke his Fifth Amendment rights against self incrimination during a congressional appearance on Tuesday.
Trump also said that Ohr, a Justice Department official, provided testimony to Congress in August that directly conflicts with what Simpson told the House Intelligence Committee in November.
Ohr told lawmakers on Aug. 28 that he met Simpson twice, once in August 2016 and once in December 2016. That conflicts with Simpson’s Nov. 14, 2017 testimony in which he claimed only to have had contact with Ohr after the election.
“Conflict between Glen Simpson’s testimony to another House Panel about his contact with Justice Department official Bruce Ohr. Ohr was used by Simpson and Steele as a Back Channel to get (FAKE) Dossier to FBI. Simpson pleading Fifth,” Trump wrote, using a report from Catherine Herridge of Fox News as the basis for the tweet.
“Where is Jeff Sessions?” Trump asked, referring to the attorney general.

Trump also pointed to Ohr’s wife, a Russia expert named Nellie who worked for Fusion GPS while the firm was investigating Trump.
Is it really possible that Bruce Ohr, whose wife Nellie was paid by Simpson and GPS Fusion for work done on the Fake Dossier, and who was used as a Pawn in this whole SCAM (WITCH HUNT), is still working for the Department of Justice????? Can this really be so?????
Bruce Ohr was demoted as assistant deputy attorney general last December, after reports surfaced of his wife’s link to Fusion GPS.
Ohr served as the FBI’s unofficial back channel to Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored the dossier.
Ohr and Steele were in frequent email and text message contact. They also met on July 30, 2016, a day before the FBI opened its investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.
Ohr remained in contact with Steele even after the FBI cut ties with the dossier author just before the election for unauthorized contacts with the media. Ohr briefed the FBI at least 12 times through May 2017 about his interactions with Steele.
Simpson also failed to disclose that Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS, which was working on behalf of the DNC and Clinton campaign.
Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe, a Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee, said Sunday that Simpson is in “real legal jeopardy” over his inconsistent statements.

21 Headlines That Show Exactly Why Elizabeth Warren’s DNA Reveal Was Such a Disaster
Many media outlets — including liberal publications — called out the Massachusetts Democrat's 'heritage news' for what it was
By Deirdre Reilly
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has made headlines for days since she released the results of a DNA test that she says confirms her longstanding claims of having Native American ancestry — which, in turn, had allowed her in the past to identify herself as a minority in job searches.
In what was termed an “unmitigated disaster” for Warren by the Republican National Committee (RNC) in an email blast, the progressive senator also dropped a video into a self-serving tweet that proves that she is about as Native American as the next white person — or perhaps even less so.
Still, Warren continues to defend her baffling decision to release the DNA test, despite the fact that it shows she is as little as 1/1024th Native American, most recently to The Boston Globe.
The following 21 headlines, rounded up mostly by the RNC in the group’s email today and with some inserted here by LifeZette as well, show clearly and starkly what a mess this DNA reveal was for Warren. Note that many of these — not all — are from liberal mainstream outlets.
Here are 21. (We miss any you think our readers would want to know about? Share them in the comments section below this article.)

Jews as Parasites and Jews as Termites: From the Nazis to Farrakhan
Written by Michael Brown
There is no hiding the ugliness of Louis Farrakhan’s latest antisemitic comments, in which he likened Jews to termites. There is one thing you do with termites. Exterminate them!
Termites are destructive.
Termites are nasty. Termites survive by destroying. Termites do nothing good. Rid the earth of them!
My good friend, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, was therefore right to tweet this in response: “Louis Farrakhan calling Jews termites is a virtual call to genocide. The Nazis regularly referred to Jews as roaches and pests who needed to be exterminated. I call on African-American leaders like my close friend @CoryBooker to immediately condemn this vile and loathsome attack.”
These were Farrakhan’s exact words from a speech on October 14 in Detroit where he mocked his Jewish adversaries: “I can go anywhere in the world and they’ve heard of Farrakhan…I’m not mad at you, because you’re so stupid.”
Then, a little later in his speech, he said, “when they talk about Farrakhan, call me a hater, call me anti-Semite…I’m anti-Termite. I don’t know nothing about hating somebody because of their religious preference.”
He then reinforced his message with this tweet, linked to a video from his message: “I'm not an anti-Semite. I’m anti-Termite.”
He then reinforced his message with this tweet, linked to a video from his message: “I'm not an anti-Semite. I’m anti-Termite.”
Remarkably, Twitter has declined to act, leaving Farrakhan’s tweet intact. This is beyond crazy. This is immoral.
In 1943, the Nazis printed an educational pamphlet titled, “The Jew as World Parasite.” (In German, “Der Jude als Weltparasit.”)
It begins by saying, “In this war for the very existence of the German people, we must daily remind ourselves that Jewry unleashed this war against us. It makes no difference if the Jew conceals himself as a Bolshevist or a plutocrat, a Freemason or uses some other form of concealment, or even appears without any mask at all: he always remains the same. He is the one who so agitated and spiritually influenced the peoples that stand against us today such that they have become more or less spineless tools of International Jewry.”
You can imagine just how ugly the whole pamphlet is.
Better still, don’t try to imagine. Just read it. How much Jewish blood was spilled because of these lies?
Warren Indicated Her ‘Oppressed’ Parents Eloped Because of Mom’s Potential 1/512th Cherokee Ancestry
BY CILLIAN ZEAL

Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) speaks to members of the press during a demonstration against Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh in the Hart Senate Office Building on September 27, 2018 in Washington, DC. On Thursday, Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault, is testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee.)
So, as you may have heard, Elizabeth Warren managed to fall flat on her genetic face trying to prove she’s really Pocahontas and not Fauxcahontas.
In what the Boston Globe described as a “slickly produced video (Warren’s Senate campaign) planned to distribute Monday morning,” Warren is shown eagerly anticipating the results of a study of her DNA done by Stanford University geneticist Carlos D. Bustamante.
“The president likes to call my mom a liar. What do the facts say?” Warren says in the video.
“The facts suggest that you absolutely have Native American ancestry in your pedigree,” Bustamante is shown saying.
And she did! Somewhere between … 1/64th and 1/1024th Cherokee blood. If you want to take the mean value, that would be 1/512th. (Yes, I know it’s technically 1/544th, but since you can’t be 1/544th Native American, it’s 1/512th.) If you want to be charitable and take the median, it’s a mere 1/256th Native American. As problematic big reveals go, I think we now have a rival for the Segway and the Edsel.
But that’s not all. This minuscule amount of Cherokee blood was still apparently enough that Warren’s mother’s heritage angered her father’s parents to the point that Warren’s mother and father were forced into an elopement.
During her first run for the Senate back in 2012, Warren was dogged by the fact that she had listed herself as a minority during the 1980s and 1990s. During an interview with NECN’s Jim Braude, she contended the issue was serious enough it almost stopped her parents from getting married.
“My mom and dad were very much in love with each other and they wanted to get married and my father’s parents said absolutely not,” she told Braude. “You can’t marry her because she’s part Cherokee and she’s part Delaware. And um, after fighting it as long as they could, my parents went off, they eloped.
“It was an issue in our family the whole time I grew up about these two families. It was an issue still raised at my mother’s funeral,” she continued.
“So what I know about my parents is I know that in that little town they grew up in that my father’s parents knew enough about my mother and her family to say I have no doubts.”
That kind of small-minded oppression? All over an insanely small amount of allegedly Cherokee blood? Even a Cherokee genealogist doesn’t buy it.
Twila Barnes researched Warren’s lineage and called into question the Massachusetts senator’s account of the wedding, saying that her parents — Donald Herring and Pauline Reed — wouldn’t have needed to elope.
“The problem with Warren’s story is that none of the evidence supports it,” Barnes wrote on her blog back in 2016. “Her genealogy shows no indication of Cherokee ancestry. Her parents’ wedding doesn’t resemble an elopement. And additional evidence doesn’t show any indication of her Herring grandparents being Indian haters.”
The sad fact is that Warren really hoped this was what was going to vindicate her. You can see it in her eyes in the video — “See! I told you so, I told you so!” — and yet anyone with eyes to read and to see the extent of the evidence would realize the whole thing looked so false.
What Warren doesn’t seem to realize is that voters would care a lot less if she just gave this all up. If she said the story was hackneyed and just shrugged it off, sure, conservatives would still give her hell for it but the rest of America would probably move on. Her parents weren’t “oppressed,” they probably didn’t elope and neither was appreciably Cherokee.
Instead, the one thing Elizabeth Warren seems determined to prove before she runs in 2020 (and let’s face it, if you don’t think she’s made up her mind about declaring yet, you probably buy this story too) is that she has Native American blood. At what point does she think this is a winning issue for her?
It had become painfully clear before this test had even been done that if Warren had some Native American ancestry, it was arguably about the same amount you would find in a 1993 Jeep Cherokee.
Against all prevailing wisdom, she put herself through this mainly so that she could be mocked yet again by conservatives — particularly the president.
Most importantly, Warren reminded voters yet again how her appeal is strictly limited to those who care intensely about grievance politics. Nice work, I guess.

Master swordsman Isao Machii is back! This time he’s here to cut a fastball in two.
This latest clip is done in one continuous take so you can see that Machii doesn’t need camera trickery.
He only needs a sword.
In the clip, they show how the radar clocks the ball’s speed at 161 km/h (100 mph). Machii cut the ball at 9.22 meters (30 feet) from where the pitching machine fired it.
Incredible.
Machii, who’s often called a “modern day samurai,” is staggeringly quick on the draw. Previously, we’ve seen him cut 80mph fried shrimp and battle a robot.
