Soros-funded Media Matters virtually admits it’s behind Facebook’s purge of political pages

On Friday, the George Soros-funded Media Matters for America virtually admitted it was directing a purge of more than 800 Facebook pages and accounts. It noted that Facebook shut down a bunch of pages run by “fake news” outlets on Thursday. But then said the social media giant missed some. Would not be surprised to see those “missed” sites shut down soon.

Note that whereas Facebook claimed its decisions were “behavior violations,” not “content violations,” MMFA goes out of its way to identify the content. It says, “Facebook’s takedown removed a plethora of bad actors who have used networks of pages and groups to coordinate and amplify the spread of anti-immigrant and racist content. However, other similar far-right disinformation pages on the platform are still up.
According to MMFA, sites that discuss terrorism and the plague of illegal immigration are necessarily “anti-immigrant” and “racist.” That is their bias. Media Matters plants disinformation daily, and this is just more of it. If Facebook follows their recommendations, that will be prima facie evidence that this thing is rigged.

Trending: Payback? Trump nominates 9th Circuit without consulting Feinstein

Media Matters should be shut down. It is one of the most prolific purveyors of genuine fake news on the planet. Paid with multi-millions by Soros and other extreme leftists, Media Matters is a propaganda arm for the Democrat Party that polices the web and runs interference against anything embarrassing or revealing about the Left, or for that matter, pretty much anything with factual content. Because facts don’t play well for the Left.

And while you’re at it, be sure to check out our friends at Whatfinger News, the Internet’s conservative front-page founded by ex-military!

Trump Shuns Senator Feinstein

Trump Shuns Senator Feinstein
Senator Diane Feinstein is not happy with President Trump. Apparently, President Trump did not take her advice when nominating Judges to serve on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. It is traditional for a president to work with a state's senators when nominating judges, but Feinstein did not get that courtesy.

According to Town Hall:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was a major player in the bombshell allegation against Judge Brett Kavanaugh that resulted in one of the most unfortunate Supreme Court confirmation hearings in recent memory. Now, she's dumbfounded as to why President Trump is so resistant to her suggestions for the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

The decision to move forward on 9th Circuit nominees without consultation or responding to my acceptance of the White House’s offer reflects President Trump’s desire to stack the court. I expect my blue slips to be honored as I was acting in good faith. https://t.co/7EYWmi7V0k

— Sen Dianne Feinstein (@SenFeinstein) October 11, 2018

Feinstein demanded that Trump at least consider her candidates, because she was acting in "good faith."

Surely she knows that Trump, Grassley, and other Republicans will not soon forget the way Feinstein led the Democrats' war on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. It all started when Feinstein received that now infamous letter from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford back in July. Ford claimed that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were both in high school.
Feinstein did not notify Chairman Chuck Grassley of the letter for weeks. It was leaked a few weeks ago, resulting in two of the most contentious weeks we've ever seen in Washington, as leading lawmakers suggested Kavanaugh was a rapist, he was "evil," and worse. Feinstein insists she was not the leaker, but Republicans in Congress are investigating her office anyway.

Furthermore, as Hot Air's Ed Morrissey points out, Grassley made it pretty clear last year that blue slips are merely a courtesy.
After the stunt, she pulled during the Kavanaugh confirmation it is not surprising that President Trump won't take her advice on judicial nominees.

Joe Donnelly's family business imports from China – though he slammed GOP foe for doing the same

Indiana Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly has often criticized his GOP opponent for importing products he sells from China. But it seems a Donnelly family-owned business does the same thing.
Stewart Superior Corp., which he also owned stock in, has received repeated shipments of goods from China throughout much of this decade, according to records reviewed by The Associated Press.
Between 2011 and 2017, a time when Donnelly owned as much as $50,000 in company stock, Stewart Superior – which is operated by his brother – received more than 120,000 pounds of Chinese materials, spread across more than 20 shipments, according to Panjiva, a website that tracks international trade. Donnelly collected dividend payments in 2016 worth between $15,001 and $50,000, according to Senate financial disclosures.
A spokesperson for Donnelly’s campaign said the senator sold his stock in the company last year and donated the $17,410 in proceeds to charity.

Donnelly faces Republican businessman Mike Braun in the contentious Senate race. A former state representative, Braun beat two U.S. congressman in the May primary to grab the GOP nomination.

Even in the primary, Braun faced questions about his business selling imported goods. Earlier this summer, the Donnelly campaign released an ad highlighting Braun’s company’s use of foreign workers and suppliers.

“While Joe Donnelly has fought for Hoosier jobs every step of the way in the Senate, Rep. Braun made $18 million last year alone by selling cheap foreign auto parts at the expense of Hoosier workers,” Donnelly spokesman Will Baskin-Gerwitz told The Hill in July. “He can’t fool Hoosiers by feigning ignorance on where his parts come from – no matter what he sells, voters know his parts come from China and other counties.”
As the Associated Press pointed out, the amount of imported goods received by Stewart Superior is minuscule when compared with the goods Braun’s company regularly receives from China.
Donnelly’s been hit over his ties to his family’s business before. Dubbed “Mexico Joe” by Republican opponents, the company has faced scathing criticism after it was revealed it operated a factory in Mexico.
Braun spokesman Josh Kelley previously told Indy Politics: “Senator Donnelly is a career politician and his family business profited from sending jobs to Mexico.”
As far as the businesses relying on imported goods goes, experts say it's not just typical for businesses and manufacturers to rely on supply chains that include at least some foreign goods — they say it's unusual when companies don't.
Fox News has ranked the Indiana Senate race a toss up.

Big Chief Lyin’ Liz Warren is on the WARPATH after insult from John Kelly REVEALED!
Big Chief Lyin’ Liz Warren is on the warpath after Buzzfeed News revealed an email they got through a FOIA request showing that John Kelly mocked her in 2017 after they had a terse debate over the phone in front of their staffs.
Remember when @realDonaldTrump launched the illegal, bigoted Muslim ban? People were being illegally detained – a direct and flagrant violation of court orders. So my office tried to get answers from @DHSgovabout families who couldn’t get home to Logan. https://t.co/E1uwUN7Qmf
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 12, 2018
There was only 1 problem: the new @DHSgov Secretary John Kelly wouldn’t return my calls. When I finally got him on the phone, he bizarrely insisted I made the whole thing up & we’d never tried to reach him in the first place. So I read him all the emails between our staffs.
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 12, 2018
I asked John Kelly for an office number I could use in the future to reach him more quickly. He tried to give me the main line listed on @DHSgov’s website (really). Let’s just say I persisted longer than he did – and eventually I got his cell phone number.
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 12, 2018
Before we got off the phone, I gave John Kelly something back for his troubles: a message on behalf of the American people that it was time to follow the court order and allow people stranded abroad to board planes into Logan Airport.
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 12, 2018
Was I tough on John Kelly in that phone call? You bet I was. Apparently he thought I was an “impolite arrogant woman.” “Blah blah blah” – that’s all he had to say when he was called out for breaking the law and destroying lives.
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 12, 2018
Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump can’t shut me up – and neither can John Kelly. (He can’t even get @realDonaldTrump off Twitter, and as far as I can tell, that was his main job description when he took on the role of @WhiteHouse Chief of Staff).
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 12, 2018
There are some men who can only hear “blah blah blah” whenever a woman’s talking. But there’s nothing impolite about people’s right to speak out and hold their government accountable. And sometimes, people are right to be angry.
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 12, 2018
LOL! Dang she’s really riled up. Now to be fair, I could see how she might be upset at how poorly they ruled out the Muslim ban, but on the other hand they’d act upset no matter what Trump did. And on the other hand, I could see how John Kelly might not be terribly responsive to requests from the meddlesome weirdo.
Here’s the email that Buzzfeed uncovered:
So who’s in the right? Who cares. It’s entertaining. Now let’s all point at big Chief Warren and laugh.

Google Search Competitor ‘DuckDuckGo’ Reaches 30 Million Searches a Day

Privacy-based Google Search competitor DuckDuckGo has reached 30 million searches on its engine per day.
According to DuckDuckGo’s traffic page, the search engine’s daily search record is now 30,602,556 searches.
As of writing, 22,938,106,279 searches have been made in total through DuckDuckGo since its launch in 2008. DuckDuckGo’s popularity has been slowly increasing over the years, with 2017 being its most popular year yet.
“You deserve privacy. Companies are making money off of your private information online without your consent. At DuckDuckGo, we don’t think the Internet should feel so creepy and getting the privacy you deserve online should be as simple as closing the blinds,” declares the search engine on its about page. “Too many people believe that you simply can’t expect privacy on the Internet. We disagree and have made it our mission to set a new standard of trust online.”
In August, DuckDuckGo raised $10 million following increasing Big Tech privacy concerns, which the company claimed would be used to expand globally.
“To make any real progress in advancing data privacy this year, we have to start doing something about Google and Facebook. Not doing so would be like trying to lose weight without changing your diet. Simply ineffective,” declared DuckDuckGo CEO Gabriel Weinberg in an op-ed for CNBC this year. “The impact these two companies have on our privacy cannot be understated.”
