WHAT AISLE IS THE POLISH SAUSAGE IN?

Everyone seems to be in such a hurry to scream 'prejudice' these days...

A customer asked, "In what aisle can I find the Polish sausage?"

The clerk asks, "Are you Polish?"

The guy, clearly offended, says, "Yes I am. But let me ask you something.

If I had asked for Italian sausage, would you ask me if I was Italian?

Or if I had asked for German Bratwurst, would you ask me if I was German?

Or if I asked for a kosher hot dog would you ask me if I was Jewish?

As captain of the Yale baseball team, George H.W. Bush shared a moment with Babe Ruth in 1948

Late Friday night, word broke that George H.W. Bush passed away at the age of 94.

It's no secret that the 41st President of the United States of America was a passionate baseball fan -- often being seen at Astros games over the years after his term in office from 1989 to 1993 and leaving a strong impression on nearly everyone he met in that capacity (as captured by MLB.com's Richard Justice in this piece).

But well before he became a political figure, Bush was a baseball star at Yale, and in 1948 he was the team's captain. It was with that status that he met Babe Ruth for an on-field ceremony on June 5, when Ruth presented Bush with the manuscript for "The Babe Ruth Story" as a donation to the Yale Library.

Looking back through the lens appointed by the passage of time and the fact that Ruth died just weeks later, this is quite a photo:

During his time at Yale, Bush also faced off against a young man on Fordham named Vin Scully.

Needless to say, the baseball community will miss George H.W. Bush.

To which Helen and Moe add a big “AMEN”. It must have been a beautiful day for a ball game.

Massachusetts Democrats just took a low blow against Christians that will make you see red

In 2012 Democrats got in hot water for removing the word “God” from their party platform.

Then in 2016 DNC attendees loudly booed when “God” was put back in.

And you won’t believe how Democrats attacked Christianity now.

The Massachusetts Democrat Party adopted a resolution saying Christians pose a threat to the United States.

The resolution was drafted by the secular Humanist Association.

It also recognizes religiously unaffiliated as “an important and growing demographic group worthy of respect, and aligned to values the Democratic Party supports.”

Christian News reports:

The Massachusetts Democratic Party has approved a resolution acknowledging non religious Americans, also known as “nones,” and stating that those who have used their “religious views to justify public policy” are “threatening not only the United States, but the entire planet.”

It claims that those who have used religion to define morality through public policy, as well as what is calls “misplaced claims of religious liberty,” are posing a threat to both the nation and the world.

“[T]hose most loudly proclaiming that morals, values, and patriotism must be defined by their particular religious views have often used those religious views to justify public policy that rejects well-established scientific consensus on issues such as evolution, sexuality, gender, women’s health, and climate change, thus threatening not only the United States but the entire planet,” the resolution states.

It says that the Democratic Party rather “recognizes that morals, values, and patriotism are not unique to any particular religion, and in fact are not necessarily reliant on having a religious worldview at all.”

Democrats think that by demonizing Christians they can win more votes.

They have already rid their party of anyone who considers themselves to be “pro-life.”

Democrats are embarrassed by the fact that our nation was founded by Christians and our Constitution is based in Christian principles.

They think if you are a Christian you should not use your fundamental belief in Truth to affect public policy.

Instead, Democrats would rather put their faith in government to decide right and wrong.

James Mattis Shut Down Obama’s Deep State’s Sick Plan To Hijack Trump’s Presidency

Ever since Donald Trump declared himself a candidate for President, the Deep State has been gunning for him.

Rogue agents in the CIA and FBI set in motion a conspiracy to destroy Trump.

These shadowy forces thought they had the upper hand, but James Mattis just shut down the CIA’s sick plan to hijack Trump’s Presidency.

The Deep State figured they had Trump cornered.

Trump made his alliance with Saudi Arabia the cornerstone of his Middle East policy.

The administration courted the Saudis – and the kingdom’s heir apparent, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman – to help bring about a peace deal with Israel and to contain Iran.

That did not sit well with Barack Obama’s Deep State.

Obama wanted to make his alliance with the anti-American Iranian government the focal point of Middle East politics.

He appeased Iran with his disastrous nuclear agreement that allowed them to acquire a nuclear weapon.

Trump tore up Obama’s Iran deal and Saudi Arabia supported the President’s policy.

So sinister forces within the U.S. government retreated to their dark corners of power and plotted their revenge.

They seized their moment when Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi walked into the Saudi consulate in Turkey under the impression he was to pick up papers for his impending marriage.

He was killed by 17 Saudi agents.

Khashoggi had been a critic of the Crown Prince and also a one-time member of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization.

He was also a contributor to the Washington Post.

The Obama Deep State echo chamber sprang into action.

Anonymous leaks filled the papers with accounts of Saudi agents hacking Khashoggi to pieces with a bone saw.

Deep State agents filled American papers with leaks about how the CIA’s assessment of the situation was that the Crown Prince ordered Khashoggi’s killing.

This led to calls for the government to sanction the Crown Prince.

Former Obama CIA Director John Brennan led the public charge.

Brennan was one of the architects of using the fake news Christopher Steele Russia dossier to frame Trump for colluding with the Russians.

He pounced on this opportunity to undermine Trump’s foreign policy.

Brennan tweeted:

SINCE MR. TRUMP EXCELS IN DISHONESTY, IT IS NOW UP TO MEMBERS OF CONGRESS TO OBTAIN & DECLASSIFY THE CIA FINDINGS ON JAMAL KHASHOGGI’S DEATH. NO ONE IN SAUDI ARABIA—MOST ESPECIALLY THE CROWN PRINCE—SHOULD ESCAPE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR SUCH A HEINOUS ACT.

But that would be disastrous.

Trump pointed out in an interview with the Washington Post that punishing the Crown Prince could push Saudi Arabia into the arms of China and Russia.

“We have an ally that’s investing billions and billions of dollars in our country. They could very easily invest $110 billion, $450 billion overall over a period of time, fairly short period of time. $110 billion in military. Russia and China would love to have those orders, and they’ll get them if we don’t.

They’ll have no choice, but they’ll get them if we don’t. So I take everything into consideration, and again, he totally denies it, and he denied it to me on three different occasions, on three different calls, and a lot of other people deny it, too.

Did he do it?

As I said, maybe he did and maybe he didn’t, but in the meantime Saudi Arabia’s spending billions and billions of dollars in the United States, and I want them to spend it here. I don’t want them to spend it in China and Russia,” Trump told the Post.

Trump explained in “realpolitik” terms why the Saudi alliance was in America’s interest.

Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo then executed the second prong of Trump’s plan to get his foreign policy back on track.

And they shut down the Deep State’s leak campaign by telling the truth.

Both reviewed all the intelligence, and both cabinet officials told reporters there was no smoking gun linking the Crown Prince to Khasoggi’s murder.

Mattis told reporters at the Pentagon that Trump’s national security team found “no smoking gun that the crown prince was involved — not the intelligence community or anyone else.”

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo backed up Mattis’ statements.

“I do believe I’ve read every piece of intelligence — unless it’s come in the last few hours, I think I’ve read it all,” the Secretary of State explained. “There is no direct reporting connecting the crown prince to the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. And that’s all I can say in an unclassified setting.”

It was obvious what was going on.

The pro-Obama forces in the Deep State wanted revenge for Trump tearing up the Iran nuclear deal and ending Obama’s policy of appeasement.

So they used a coordinated leak campaign to try and kneecap Trump’s closest ally in the region.

But their plot failed. The Trump administration remained committed to their pro-Israel and anti-Iran Middle East policy.

Sen. Mike Lee blocks attempt to protect special counsel Robert Mueller

Almost since the moment former FBI Director Robert Mueller was appointed as a special counsel to investigate alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, Democrats, along with some establishment Republicans, have sought to erect special protections around his investigation to “protect” him from being fired or otherwise interfered with by President Donald Trump.

A handful of senators tried once again on Wednesday to push through a “blatantly unconstitutional” piece of legislation to protect Mueller from being fired, but that effort was blocked on constitutional grounds by conservative Republican Mike Lee (R-UT), who took to the floor and formally objected.

An effort to “protect” Mueller

Politico reported that the legislation, which has been attempted previously, was brought to the floor again on Wednesday with a request for unanimous consent — which can be blocked by a single senator — prior to a full vote.

The senators pushing the bill included Democrat Sens. Chris Coons of Delaware and Cory Booker of New Jersey, along with retiring Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who had blocked a prior attempt at a vote on the legislation and has expressed little fear of Trump actually firing Mueller, remained unsupportive of the measure this time around as well, and called it “a solution in search of a problem.”

Request for unanimous consent blocked

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that Lee cited a particular dissent opinion written many years ago by the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia to make his argument that providing special protections for Mueller would be unconstitutional.

That dissent stated that “Prosecutorial authority in the United States belongs in the Department of Justice,” which in turn falls under the aegis of the president and the executive branch.

As such, granting a special level of independence to the special counsel would render it a “de facto fourth branch of government, fundamentally undermining the principle of the separation of powers” that is at the foundational core of our liberty and constitutional republic.

Lee then issued his objection to effectively kill the legislative attempt to protect Mueller, at least for now. You can watch Lee’s remarks right here, sandwiched between commentary in favor of the bill by Sens. Flake and Coons.

The senators who hate Trump and fear that he will interfere with or flat out fire Robert Mueller wanted to essentially make Mueller’s investigation completely independent of any sort of oversight or control by the executive branch, but Lee saw right through what they wanted to do and blocked that effort with a respectful nod to our nation’s constitutional separation of powers.

Flake’s pet project

Undeterred, Flake has already indicated that he plans to continue pushing the Mueller protection legislation, which he appears to have made his pet project. Flake said Thursday that he would make another attempt to get a vote next week.

The Arizona senator, who is retiring in January, has threatned to vote against the Senate Judiciary Committee’s nominees until the Senate votes on the Mueller bill.

Here’s What Michael Cohen Did NOT Say

All of Washington is fulminating and overflowing with adverbs to describe Michael Cohen’s guilty plea to charges of lying to Congress. But let’s keep in mind what Cohen did and did not say.

After 70 hours of grilling by Mueller’s prosecutors — holding over his head a potentially lengthy sentence on his unrelated crimes in the taxi business and on his tax returns — what Cohen left out may be more important than what he said.

If Cohen didn’t admit to something, under all that pressure, then we can probably take it to the bank that it didn’t happen. Mueller’s pressure and harassment are — in that respect — a kind of lie detector test.

Here’s what Cohen did not say:

While he admitted to lying to Congress concerning the date of his various business transactions in Russia, he did not say that Trump told him to lie. Cohen, an experienced attorney used to protecting Trump’s interests, likely realized that admitting that he had business dealings on Trump’s behalf with the Russians during or immediately before or after the election, might lead to other questions, so he lied about it and pre-dated the questions. But he did so on his own. What does that have to do with Trump?

He did not indicate that Russia was offering any special break to Trump out of the ordinary that could be construed as a bribe or payoff.

He did not, in any way, confirm the role attributed to him by the famous dossier that led to the entire investigation of Trump.

He did not admit to ever going to Prague or the Czech Republic for any reason, a central claim of the dossier.

He did not admit to knowing either of the men identified in the dossier as having coordinated with him to plan to hack the DNC computer.

He did not admit to arranging to pay off the hackers, as the dossier says he did.

Mueller came up empty. He now has enough to put Cohen away for lying but not enough to make a case that Trump was involved or that he did anything that could be considered an impeachable offense.

All Mueller has done is find three instances of limited criminality that has earned slaps on the wrist of several weeks in jail. He has indicted a list of Russians who are not in our jurisdiction and probably never will be.




Elizabeth Warren 2020 Preview: Donald Trump ‘Cozies Up to White Nationalists,’ Inspires ‘Domestic Right-Wing Terrorism’...Her tribe below whoops it up...

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) spoke at American University Washington College of Law in a speech billed as foreign policy-focused; however, it included criticism of President Donald Trump and his policies and claimed he promotes white nationalism and encourages “domestic right-wing terrorism.”

“He cozies up to white nationalists,” Warren said on Thursday. “He undermines the free press and incites violence against journalists.”

Warren said Trump’s election poses a threat to democracy.

“The 2016 election provided a stark reminder that we must remain vigilant and fight for our democracy every single day,” Warren said. “That starts with protecting our elections and democratic processes, and making it clear that there will be severe consequences for those – foreign or domestic – who meddle, hack, or undermine them.”

“It means ensuring a meaningful opportunity for every American citizen to vote,” Warren said. “And it means fighting for equal justice and protection under the law for all.”

“It also requires us to speak out against hateful rhetoric that fuels domestic terrorism of all kinds, whether in San Bernadino or Charleston, Orlando or Charlottesville, Fort Hood or Pittsburgh,” Warren said. “We must speak plainly about all of these incidents.”

“Just like the hateful terrorism of Al Qaeda and ISIS, domestic right-wing terrorism is completely incompatible with our American values,” Warren said.

As for her stance on foreign policy in the speech, Warren opposes every aspect of Trump’s approach, saying he “embraces dictators of all stripes,” and she painted a grim picture of the state of global affairs under this president.

“Let’s start with a serious problem: Around the world, democracy is under assault,” Warren said. “Authoritarian governments are gaining power.”

“Right-wing demagogues are gaining strength,” Warren added. “Movements toward openness and pluralism have stalled and begun to reverse.”

“Inequality is rapidly growing, transforming rule by-the-people into rule by-wealthy-elites,” Warren said.

Warren did not mention any of the president’s successes: halting North Korea’s development of nuclear weapons, debilitating ISIS, confronting Iran for funding terrorism around the globe, and unjustly gaining the release of Americans held abroad unjustly.

Instead, she called for cutting a “bloated defense budget” and the halt of “reckless, endless wars in the Middle East.”

Warren’s speech included leftist talking points — from corporations’ alleged mistreatment of American workers and unions to the dangers of “cutthroat capitalism” and the pitfalls of free trade.

She also said she would oppose Trump’s renegotiated NAFTA trade agreement with Mexico and Canada while admitting it needed to be revisited and revised.

“But as it’s currently written, Trump’s deal won’t stop the serious and ongoing harm NAFTA causes for American workers,” Warren said. “It won’t stop outsourcing, it won’t raise wages, and it won’t create jobs.”

She also claims the agreement favors “big drug companies” and does not address climate change.

“For these reasons, I oppose NAFTA 2.0 and will vote against it in the Senate unless President Trump reopens the agreement and produces a better deal for America’s working families,” Warren said.

Refugee Women, Children, and Infants Water-cannoned to Death Near US Southern Border—But Democrat/Media Complex Glorifies Perpetrator

Maria Meza is the Honduran migrant who was catapulted to media stardom this week for being in the right place at the right time for an intrepid Reuters photographer who caught the U.S. Border Patrol red-handed in the act of performing its duty by defending the U.S. border.

Best we can tell—despite her claims of “I thought we were all going to die!”--she was not hurt, even slightly, and neither were any of her five children.

Nonetheless the Media/Democrat/Celebrity complex is all over Trump like a cheap suit for his “brutality.”

On the other hand, Maria Garcia is a Cuban refugee (a genuine one, that is) whose son, husband, brother, sister, two uncles and three cousins were wantonly massacred in cold blood while they were all seeking (legal) asylum in the U.S.  In all, 43 (genuine) Cuban refugees were wantonly massacred, 11 of them children. Carlos Anaya was 3 when he drowned, Yisel Alvarez 4. Helen Martinez was 6 months old.

But you’ve never heard of Maria Garcia, have you amigos? Or of the horrific massacre from which she barely escaped with her life, have you amigos?

Didn't think so. Here I’ll help with a few details:

“This was a very heroic and patriotic act!” Fidel Castro gushed in August 5 1994 while decorating one of his subjects named Jesus Gonzalez as “Hero of the Revolution.”

This “heroism” consisted of ramming his steel-prowed Russian cutter against a flimsy boat full of desperate Cuban escapees—then blasting his water cannon against dozens of women and children clinging desperately to the sinking boat and drowning them.

"MI HIJO! MI HIJO!" Maria Garcia screamed as the water jet slammed into her, ripping half the clothes off her body and ripping Juan's arm from her grasp. "JUANITO! JUANITO!" She fumbled frantically around her, still blinded by the water blast. Little Juan had gone spinning across the deck and now clung desperately to the tug's railing 10 feet behind Maria as huge waves lapped his legs.

WHACK!  The steel patrol boat turned sharply and rammed the escape craft from the other side. Then - CRACK! another one crashed it from the front! WHACK!  In Cuba you don't do something like this without strict orders from WAY above.

"We have women and children aboard!" The escapee men yelled. "We'll turn around! OK?!"

WHACK! the Castroites answered the plea by ramming them again. In seconds the escapee craft started coming apart and sinking. Muffled yells and cries came from below. Turns out the women and children who had scrambled into the hold for safety after the first whack had in fact scrambled into a watery tomb.

With the boat coming apart and the water rushing in around them, some got death grips on their children and managed to scramble or swim out. But not all. The roar from the water cannons and the din from the boat engines muffled most of the screams, but all around people were screaming, coughing, gagging and sinking.

As mentioned, Maria Garcia lost her son, Juanito, her husband, brother, sister, two uncles and three cousins in the maritime massacre. Please click here for more details and thorough documentation on this massacre.

And all this death and horror to flee from a nation that experienced net immigrationthroughout the 20th century, where boats and planes brought in many more people than they took out - except on vacation. (Despite what you saw in The Godfather, actually, in 1950, more Cubans vacationed in the U.S. than Americans in Cuba, as befit a nation with a bigger middle class than Switzerland.)

This was obviously a rogue operation by crazed deviants, you say. No government could possibly condone, much less directly order such a thing! Right?

Wrong. Nothing is random in Stalinist Cuba. As mentioned, one of the gallant water-cannon gunners was even decorated (personally) by Fidel Castro. Perhaps for expert marksmanship. A three-year old child presents a pretty small target. A six-month old baby an even smaller one. "Magnificent job defending the glorious revolution, companero!"

But perhaps my claim that the “Democrat /Media complex glorifies the perpetrator” strikes some of my amigos as unnecessarily hyperbolic? Or as a blatant exaggeration? Or perhaps even as “fake news?”

Fair enough. Let’s have a look:

“Fidel Castro could have been Cuba’s Elvis!” (Dan Rather.)

“Fidel Castro is old-fashioned, courtly–even paternal, a thoroughly fascinating figure!” (NBC’s Andrea Mitchell.)

"Castro's personal magnetism is still powerful, his presence is still commanding. Cuba has very high literacy, and Castro has brought great health care to his country." (Barbara Walters.)

“Fidel Castro is one hell of a guy! You people would like him! Most people in Cuba like him." (CNN founder Ted Turner at Harvard Law School during a speech in 1997. Within weeks CNN was granted its coveted Havana Bureau, the first ever granted by Castro to a foreign network.)    

“Fidel Castro…educated (Cuban) kids, gave them healthcare, totally transformed the society.” (Democrat Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders.)

“Viva Fidel! Viva Che!” (Two-time candidate for the Democrat presidential nomination Jesse Jackson, bellowing while arm in arm with Fidel Castro himself in 1984.)

"Fidel Castro is very shy and sensitive, I frankly like him and regard him as a friend." (Democrat presidential candidate, Presidential Medal of Freedom winner, and “Conscience of the Democrat party,” George McGovern.)

“Fidel Castro first and foremost is and always has been a committed egalitarian. He wanted a system that provided the basic needs to all Cuba has superb systems of health care and universal education…We greeted each other as old friends.” (Former President of the United States and official "Elder Statesman” of the Democrat Party, Jimmy Carter.)

Oklahoma senator wants to classify abortion as felony homicide

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma state senator wants to pass a bill that would classify abortion as a felony homicide.

“It’s gonna be classified as a homicide because, essentially, a fertilized egg is a human life just like a 1-year-old baby is a human life,” Sen. Joseph Silk, R-Broken Bow, told KFOR on Friday. “So, an abortion would be considered intentionally taking a human life.”

When asked what he would say to a woman sentenced to life in prison for abortion, Silk replied, "I don’t know, the exact same thing I would say to a mother who just killed a 1-month-old or a 1-year-old child. It’s a horrific act and there shouldn’t be any tolerance for it.”

His bill, called the “Abolition of Abortion in Oklahoma Act,” calls on the state to ignore federal rulings on abortion.

His proposed legislation says, “The Attorney General shall direct state agencies to enforce those laws regardless of any contrary or conflicting federal statutes, regulations, executive orders, or court decisions."

Silk also pointed to slavery as a reference.

“The Supreme Court also ruled that slavery, you know, that slaves were private property and they were wrong,” said Silk. “And so, the courts do need to be challenged.”

The ACLU of Oklahoma says the bill is outrageous and Silk can’t overturn federal law.

“This isn’t the first time that Senator Silk has demonstrated that he could use a refresher in constitutional law if he’s ever had any at all,” said Allie Shinn, deputy director for ACLU Oklahoma.

Shinn says Silk is attacking Oklahoma women and their reproductive freedom.

“I’m not sure where Joseph Silk got to decide that he’s the morality police, but nobody elected him to do that,” said Shinn. “He was elected to govern the people of Oklahoma, including the women of Oklahoma.”

But what about women who are pregnant from incest or rape?

“The numbers of rape and incest are so tiny, under half a percent. So, it’s almost not even an arguable question,” said Silk. “It is a human life, regardless of how it came to be.”
