NextUSS Gerald Ford model photo
The aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, seen here in a combination model and live shot photo, is the first in the US Navy's next generation of warships, the Ford class. USS Gerald R. Ford was officially commissioned on July 22, 2017. The next Ford class ship, the new John F. Kennedy, is due in 2020.
Saluting the commander in chief
Though President Trump has been critical of the ship in the past, he struck a much more inspirational tone during the ship's commissioning ceremony.
"American hands and American steel constructed a 100,000-ton message to the world: American might is second to none," he said.

Bringing the Ford to life
With President Ford's daughter Susan Bales Ford giving the order on July 22 to "bring her to life," sailors aboard the USS Gerald Ford rush to man the rails -- that is, take evenly spaced positions along the sides of the ship for a salute.

Elizabeth Warren STUNNED when she heard… (nasty!)

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Democrat, was one of the most unethical lawmakers in America last year.
That’s according to a nonpartisan watchdog committee Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT), which ranked Warren as one of the most dishonest politicians in 2018.
FACT released a list of the seven biggest scandals in Washington, D.C. in 2018, and they ranked both Warren and California Sen. Kamala Harris’ nasty email fundraising efforts during the confirmation hearings of then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh as one of the nastiest acts of the entire year.
“On October 29, FACT filed a complaint with the Senate Select Committee on Ethics against Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Kamala Harris (D-CA) for using the Senate vote on the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to improperly solicit campaign donations,” the organization declared Monday in a press statement.

“The Ethics rules require Senators to act on merit, and not for personal or political gain. Thus, Senators are prohibited from campaign fundraising tied to their official duties,” the organization said.
Other Democratic senators apologized for the fundraising stunt when caught, the statement said — but Warren refused.
“While Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI) later apologized for sending a fundraising email tied to the Kavanaugh vote, Senator Warren was surprised to learn of FACT’s complaint by a moderator in her Senate debate and falsely called the violation, ‘frivolous’ in a desperate attempt to make it go away,” the organization reported.
Of the nine most dishonorable politicians in 2018, the politically unbiased watch dog group said six were Democratic politicians.
Besides Warren and Harris, the Democrats on America’s naughty list were:
-
Connecticut Rep. Elizabeth Esty for her role in her covering-up her chief of staff’s abusive history.
-
Florida Sen. Bill Nelson for lying to voters about Russian election meddling.
-
New York Rep. Yvette Clarke for misusing $120,000 in taxpayer money for Apple TVs and expensive laptops that have disappeared.
-
Ohio’s Hamilton County Clerk of Courts and former congressional candidate Aftab Pureval for unanswered questions on $20,000 in missing campaign funds.
One Republican Super PAC run by a former congressional candidate made the list, “Keeping America in Republican Control (KAIRC) PAC.”
Topping the list was Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan for their failure to disclose how the Office of Compliance (OOC) spent $17,000,000 in sexual harassment lawsuit settlements against lawmakers over the past 20 years.
“The American people have a right to know if their elected representatives in Congress used taxpayer funds to settle harassment claims. The citizens are the ‘employers’ of Congress and for far too long have been denied the ability to hold their ‘employees’ accountable for illegal behavior, yet have been forced to pay for it,” said Kendra Arnold, FACT’s Executive Director.
“Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi now has an opportunity to act further and we will be encouraging her to finally bring an end to this systematic cover-up. Every day that goes by without releasing the names of Members who have received taxpayer money to settle harassment and discrimination claims is another day of cover-up and another day more innocent people are put at risk of becoming victims,” Arnold said.
Is President Trump Changing His Mind on Border Wall?
Is President Trump Changing His Mind on Border Wall?
It seems as if the Trump Administration has changed its stance on the border wall. The administration has signaled that it is willing to move forward without full border wall funding of $5 billion.
According to The Daily Wire:
On Tuesday, the Trump administration announced its willingness to back off of its demands for full funding for a border wall in the newest continuing resolution to fund the government. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told Fox News, “we have other ways that we can get to that $5 billion that we’ll work with Congress.” She explained, “At the end of the day, we don’t want to shut down the government. We want to shut down the border.”
This marks a serious shift from the escalating tenor of President Trump’s statements on the issue. On Friday, he said that he would own a shutdown over the border; he has consistently insisted that Democrats provide him the funding he has requested. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was set to propose a bill today that would include both $1.6 billion in border funding and another $1 billion for a border security “slush fund” that could not be used toward a wall, but Democrats have already said that they will oppose such a deal. Democrats continue to preach that a wall would be immoral in some unspecified way. “It’s the wrong thing to do,” incoming Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated. “It doesn’t work. It’s not effective. It’s the wrong thing to do and it’s a waste of money.”
It does work. It’s not ineffective. And the only time Democrats seem concerned about excessive government expenditure is when national security is implicated.
In any case, it’s a pretty gutless move for the administration to back down from a fight over the wall after revving up Republicans for precisely that fight – especially since back in January, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was forced to back down from his own shutdown attempt while trying to push President Trump to grant amnesty to so-called DREAMers. Americans don’t understand the Democrats’ agenda with regard to the wall. They do understand Trump’s. If Trump agrees with that assessment, backing off a fight is a mistake. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is about to send $4.8 billion to Mexico in development aid. So much for Mexico paying for the wall.
The article goes on to state that Trump is shifting focus to criminal justice reform, something he did not campaign on, but something that his son-in-law Jared Kushner is a major proponent of.

Parents of this 11-year-old “drag kid” crossed a major line with this sick move
Desmond Napoles is an 11-year-old “drag kid” who recently appeared on “Good Morning America.”
LGBT activists labeled him “brave” and “revolutionary” for drag acceptance and the LGBT “movement” at large.
But his parents made an unforgivable decision when they made him do this.
He even reportedly had dollar bills thrown at him for his performance from male adults who were at the bar.
The Daily Wire reports:
The Daily Wire reports:
On December 1, an 11-year-old boy dressed in drag danced on stage in a sexual manner at a gay bar in Brooklyn, NY, called 3 Dollar Bill. The child, Desmond Napoles, was dressed as a Gwen Stefani-look alike — full drag makeup, a blonde wig, and crop top included — as he bounced around onstage to No Doubt’s “Like a Girl” and collected dollar bills from male adults viewing the number.
The Daily Wire has reviewed and confirmed the “performance” through video and photo posts on social media but has chosen not to link to the exploitative footage.
The performance, first flagged by YouTuber Yosef Ozia, was promoted on Eventbrite by 3 Dollar Bill.
“Only in New York… a nightclub that makes you go WHOA!!!,” reads the promotion. “FEATURING: Upcoming Legend from Television and the Runway: DESMOND IS AMAZING!!! PERFORMING LIVE! … This stage, this dance floor, this house… is ours as long as we protect it.”
The promotional ad notes that 3 Dollar Bill bar is “queer owned & operated and we foster a safe space from love. We respect all human persons as long as those human persons are also respectful to the ones around them.”
“I left after seeing a child dance on stage for money at nighttime. This was on Saturday night and I have been feeling disturbed ever since,” wrote a one-star reviewer of 3 Dollar Bill on December 3 via Yelp.
You can’t make this stuff up.
This is the consequence of parading Desmond around on Good Morning America.
They treat him like an adult that knows what he is doing, when in reality, Desmond is just pawn for the so-called “progressives'” sick fantasies.
Not only that, but they are normalizing pedophilia. What else can you call an 11-year-old “drag kid” dancing sexually at a gay bar?
But no 11-year-old should ever be put into that position.
His parents are parading him around to virtue signal to their friends and LGBT activists.
And the child sees their cheerleading as a reward for this behavior.
This is a problem because the LGBT activists made it a problem.
By telling lies to kids about gender identity and sexuality, they are setting them up to become pawns for their sick political game.

President Trump’s stomach for a fight over funding for the border wall seems to be following the same path as the stock market – starting out like gangbusters only to slide after his alleged allies started talking it down.
After the President said he was prepared to take the weight for a government shutdown, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said on the House floor that he thinks “going into a shutdown is stupid,” but he offered no immediate plan for funding the wall or the government before the Dec. 21 deadline.
Even worse, the House adjourned for six days soon after his remarks, returning to session today, just two days before the deadline.
Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer of New York met with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. The Kentucky Republican proposed an appropriations bill that includes money for border security fencing, as well as what a Senate Democratic aide described as a $1 billion "slush fund" that Trump could use on his immigration policies. The aide told CNBC that Democrats would reject the deal, as House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of California later did publicly.
A McConnell spokesman later told NBC News that the "hypothetical slush fund" would not go toward a wall.
Pelosi told reporters that "we'll see" if negotiations with the White House make any progress. She said the wall "is not about money," but rather "about morality."
"It's the wrong thing to do. It doesn't work. It's not effective. It's the wrong thing to do and it's a waste of money," the California Democrat said, according to an NBC News interview reported by CNBC’s Jacob Pramuk.
Yesterday, the White House suggested that President Trump could back down from his demand for $5 billion to fund his proposed border wall in the year-end spending bill.
"We have other ways that we can get to that $5 billion that we'll work with Congress," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told Fox News on Tuesday morning. She added that the Trump administration could support $1.6 billion in border security funding proposed by Senate Democrats, as long as it can "couple that with other funding resources" to get to $5 billion.
She added, according to reporting by CNBC, that "at the end of the day, we don't want to shut down the government. We want to shut down the border."
The establishment media has already begun to frame Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ comments as, “Trump caved,” but that fails (as usual) to capture exactly what Mrs. Sanders said.
What she said was, "We have other ways that we can get to that $5 billion,” and getting that $5 billion to build the wall, and building the wall, is what this battle is all about, shutting down the so-far unfunded pieces of the federal government is only a tactic, not a strategic goal.
Among the alternatives the President has floated is that the military could build the wall — though the Pentagon has said it has no plans to do so, yet.
The idea of having the Pentagon build the wall is gathering support, with Brandon J. Weichert, contributing editor at American Greatness and a contributor at The American Spectator, making the most persuasive case we’ve yet read [29] for that strategy.
Citing the Pentagon’s vast budget, and the waste therein, Weichert notes correctly that there is plenty of room for the military to build the wall, and in line with the thinking expressed in our article “Meet Them With Tanks? [30]” argues that defending the border is a core responsibility of the military.
Forget negotiating with Congress, says Brandon J. Weichert. It’s a dead-end. Just as he ordered the Pentagon to send the troops to the border, President Trump could order the Defense Department to begin construction on the wall immediately. There’s nothing stopping him from doing so. It’s the only way the president will get the wall.
We agree, and with the Democrats looking to close every avenue available to the President for building the wall, the sooner he starts, the better.

A Well Kept Secret---
Immigration: The Hidden Driver of the Opioid Epidemic
More than 900 Americans died every week from opioid-related overdoses in 2017. Every American community, big or small, has experienced the epidemic’s merciless, corrosive advance across our cities and towns. It is human tragedy, a family tragedy, and a national crisis.
The issue is complicated by the fact that tens of thousands of Americans need prescription pain medications for legitimate medical reasons. Pharmaceutical companies have been innovative in creating potent opioid based medicines and they were, and remain, rewarded with successful sales.
Some patients, however, abuse legitimate drugs, lie to treating physicians, and illegally sell otherwise lawful drugs. But the real problem is not from frazzled doctors, bad patients or bad medicine. The overwhelming source of the problem is cheap but powerful drugs coming in from Mexico by way of China.
There is another core contributor to the problem that isn’t as widely known: the river of illegal aliens surging across our porous borders. As former LA Times reporter Sam Quinones’ award-winning book, Dreamland: The True Story of America’s Opioid Epidemic recounts, just as standards for the prescription of oxycodone and other painkillers were being tightened, a group of largely illegal Mexican immigrants from Xalisco, in the Mexican state of Nayarit, pioneered a new model of heroin distribution. It was in essence Uber for drug dealers, involving small franchises, with a nonviolent approach, carrying small amounts of drugs directly to addicts in their homes and neighborhoods, using a customer-first mentality and lots and lots of delivery drivers.
From Dreamland, “The delivery drivers did tours of six months and then left. If they were arrested they were deported, not prosecuted, because they never carried large amounts of dope.” With hundreds of new illegal aliens from the state entering the country every day, the police could arrest as many street-level dealers as they liked. As a DEA agent tells Quinones in another part of the book, “We arrest drivers all the time and they send new ones up from Mexico. They never go away.” There would always be new dealers, and the model could continue. An essential part of the process was the dealers returning home, where their ill-gotten gains provided them with status in their rural, poor homeland.
Another law enforcement officer recounts to Quinones, “Their system is a simply thing, reall, and relies on cheap, illegal Mexican labor, just the way that any fast-food joint does.” That flow of dealers is the linchpin of the Nayarit model, which has since spread nationwide. Illegal immigration is the lynchpin of the flow of dealers. Stop illegal immigration, and you stop the flow.
The biggest contributor to illegal immigration are the loopholes in our laws, and our lack of southern border infrastructure. The Center for Immigration Studies has estimated that in the last two years, because of loopholes, more than 250,000 illegal aliens have been caught at the border and released. If even one-tenth of one percent of those illegal aliens are drug dealers, the Border Patrol will have actually caught 600 traffickers and released them to wreak their havoc in our communities.
There is also, of course, the fact that a porous border allows drugs to flow across the border, but people are much easier to interdict than fentanyl. That is why we must also deliver on the president’s border wall–providing $5 billion in unrestricted funding this year, immediately. The funding bill is the last train leaving the station, to stop the flow of drugs and the illegal aliens that bring them from pouring into our communities. Nancy Pelosi will ensure when she takes over as Speaker of the House that nothing will be done.
More than 49,000 Americans died last year from heroin and opioid related overdoses. If open-borders liberal Democrats or weak-kneed establishment Republicans stop us from fixing the problem by closing the loopholes and building the wall, they will be accomplices to the next 49,000 deaths as much as the drug dealers of Xalisco.
Exclusive: Nation of Islam receiving federal cash to teach prisoners
by Alana Goodman
The Nation of Islam and its leaders have received hundreds of thousands of dollars from the U.S. government since 2008 to teach religious study programs for federal prison inmates, according to records reviewed by the Washington Examiner.
A black nationalist group led by Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam preaches that white people are “blue-eyed devils” and Jews are “the synagogue of Satan." Its leaders have received at least $364,500 in contracts and awards from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons and the Department of Justice between fiscal 2008 and fiscal 2019.
The funding was designed to provide "Nation of Islam religious services," "Nation of Islam spiritual guide services," "Nation of Islam study services," and other related programming led by the organization’s leaders, according to Bureau of Prison records. The Nation of Islam has been labeled a hate group by the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center.
New York Republican Peter King, chairman of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, told the Washington Examiner the funding was "beyond the pale."
He said: "Categorically, no group or entity or individual associated any way with Farrakhan or the Nation of Islam should receive any federal funding. What Farrakhan preaches is hatred and anti-Semitism and racism, and to use any federal money for any group that’s he’s involved with that do any type of teaching or proselytizing is just wrong."
Mark Potok, a senior fellow at the Centre for Analysis of the Radical Right, called the funding "really outrageous and remarkable." He noted that a court ruling in 2003 prohibited federal prisons from banning Nation of Islam reading materials on First Amendment grounds. But he said this ruling doesn’t require the U.S. government to provide money to the organization.
"I can’t imagine the reason why the federal government would have any obligation to give any money to the Nation of Islam or its proponents, and it seems quite incredible if they do," said Potok.
The Bureau of Prisons on Wednesday declined to provide any details about the contracts, including what year they began and what Nation of Islam reading materials were used for the program. “Contracts are retained six years after final payment, so we are not able to provide details regarding the original contract on which the Nation of Islam began contracting with the Bureau of Prisons," said a spokesperson.
The spokesperson cited a regulation that federal correctional institutions "may contract with representatives of faith groups in the community to provide specific religious services which the chaplain cannot personally deliver due to, ordinarily, religious prescriptions or ecclesiastical constraints to which the chaplain adheres."
While declining to comment on what the Nation of Islam provided to prisoners, the bureau cited a federal statute that said religious materials must “be previewed by [Bureau of Prison] staff, or any other staff-designated volunteers, prior to distribution" and "materials shall not denigrate or disparage any other religion or religious groups.”
King said the funding raises concerns about the federal vetting process for prison chaplains in light of reports that prisons can be a breeding ground for radicalization.
In 2010, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee released a report that found "as many as three dozen U.S. citizens who converted to Islam while in prison have traveled to Yemen, possibly for Al Qaeda training." The issue has drawn recent attention in Europe, after a gunman who attacked visitors at a Christmas market in France was reported to have been radicalized during a prior stint in jail.
“Since there have been too many instances of radicalization occurring in prisons, that, to me, is a public concern as to what is being taught,” King said. "To me, once you’re associated with Farrakhan, that, to me, would end the vetting right away."
Federal spending records reviewed by the Washington Examiner show that the funding dates back at least to fiscal 2008, with some contracts apparently approved in 2007.
The highest spending year appears to have occurred under former President Barack Obama in 2012, when the federal government gave over $47,000 in contracts to Nation of Islam programs. Funding has dropped under the Trump administration. In 2018, the programs received $17,000 and the total obligation for 2019 is $8,250.
The Nation of Islam was founded in 1930 as a black nationalist offshoot of Islam, but Potok said many of its beliefs are seen as heretical by mainstream Muslims — including the group’s claims that white people are inherently evil and Nation of Islam founder Wallace D. Fard, or Wallace Fard Muhammad, is a deity.
"The Nation has, right from the beginning, extremely anti-Semitic, anti-gay beliefs," said Potok. The group has promoted theories that Israel carried out the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and claimed the U.S. government has secretly poisoned black men with a chemical that would turn them gay. Farrakhan, who has led the organization since 1978, once called Adolf Hitler ‘a very great man’ and routinely denounces Jews and white people as evil.
"White folks are going down. And Satan is going down. And Farrakhan, by God's grace, has pulled the cover off of that satanic Jew, and I'm here to say, 'Your time is up. Your world is through,'" Farrakhan said in a speech last February.
One of the organization’s key texts, The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, claims that Jews were responsible for the transatlantic slave trade and rigged the world economic system to disenfranchise black people.
The Nation’s corporate entity, Muhammad’s Holy Temple of Islam Corp., received $27,000 from the Bureau of Prisons to carry out ‘Nation of Islam religious services’ at Terre Haute penitentiary in Indiana, according to government records.
Muhammad’s Holy Temple of Islam is based out of Mosque Maryam in Chicago, the Nation’s national headquarters and Farrakhan’s office.
Another entity, the North Memphis Study Group, received $23,430 between 2008 and 2010 for "Nation of Islam services" at Forrest City federal penitentiary in Arkansas. The North Memphis Study Group is located at Muhammad Mosque 55, the Nation’s chapter in Memphis.
The chapter’s recent “video of the week” on its website was titled “SOS: Synagogue of Satan.”
The Nation’s Muhammad's Mosque 23 in Buffalo, NY., and Mosque of Charleston in South Carolina, also received $7,850 and $2,500 each for “Nation of Islam services” at Loretto Federal Corrections Institution in Pennsylvania and Williamsburg Federal Corrections Institution in South Carolina.
In total, the Bureau of Prisons contracted with over a dozen organizations and individuals to specifically provide Nation of Islam programming for inmates. One of these individuals was Verbon Muhammad, a Nation leader in Monroe, La., who received over $60,000 to “provide Nation of Islam religious services.” Muhammad told a reporter at the Louisiana News Star last year that white people are not allowed to attend Nation of Islam religious services.
“We don't allow white people in our meetings, period,” said Muhammad.
The Nation of Islam did not respond to request for comment through its main office or through its attorney Berve Power. Abdullah Muhammad, the leader of the Nation’s Prison Reform Ministry, also did not respond to press inquiries.
According to the group’s newspaper, the Final Call, Abdullah Muhammad often travels to prisons to give lectures about the group’s philosophy. In November, Abdullah Muhammad spoke to inmates at the Ryan Detroit Reentry Center in Detroit, the Final Call reported.
“The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan wants you brothers to know that he loves you,” said Abdullah Muhammad during the lecture, which reportedly focused on Bible Scripture and included a video address from Farrakhan.
One of the inmates said in an interview with the Final Call: “I’m only 19 years old and I go home in about three weeks. I wish Mr. Muhammad lived in Detroit."
Farrakhan has implored his followers not to accept money from the U.S. government, saying in a Dec. 14, 2013, statement: “If they offer you anything, look carefully into it, lest the Nation will no longer be tied to the principles that the Hon. Elijah Muhammad desired for us: to make us an independent nation on some of this Earth that we can call our own.”
Dick Morris: Here’s the Difference Between Obama and Trump Paying for Silence
By Dick Morris
During the campaign of 2008, presidential candidate Barack Obama had his staff offer Rev. Jeremiah Wright $150,000 so as not to embarrass him.
During the campaign of 2016, presidential candidate Donald Trump had his lawyer offer porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 to stop publicizing their affair and remain silent during the campaign so as not to embarrass him.
What’s the difference?
Why is Michael Cohen, Trump’s lawyer who made the offer, on his way to prison while Obama’s unidentified staffer has gone without so much as a slap on the wrist?
Why did a special prosecutor raid the offices of Trump’s lawyer to get the details of his offer to the porn star while there was no effort, by any prosecutor, to investigate Obama’s behavior?
And why is Trump facing impeachment for violating campaign finance laws with his payment while Obama did not get so much as a fine?
The report of the offer to Rev. Wright first surfaced in the book “The Amateur” by Ed Klein. He recounts an interview with Rev. Wright after the controversy about his anti-American remarks surfaced (in which he said 9/11 was just the “chickens coming home to roost” and “God-damn America.”)
“After the media went ballistic on me,” Wright told Klein, “I received an email offering me money not to preach at all until the November presidential election.”
“Who sent the email?” Klein asked Wright.
“It was from one of Barack’s closest friends.”
“He offered you money?”
“Not directly,” Wright said. “He sent the offer to one of the members of the church, who sent it to me.”
“How much money did he offer you?”
“One hundred and fifty thousand dollars,” Wright said.
“Did Obama himself ever make an effort to see you?” Klein asked.
“Yes,” Wright said. “Barack said he wanted to meet me in secret, in a secure place….And one of the first things Barack said was, ‘I really wish you wouldn’t do any more public speaking until after the November election.’ He knew I had some speaking engagements lined up, and he said, ‘I wish you wouldn’t speak. It’s gonna hurt the campaign if you do that.’”
“And what did you say?” Klein asked.
Wright replied: “I said, ‘I don’t see it that way. And anyway, how am I supposed to support my family?’”
The answer came a few days later with the offer of $150,000, clearly a bribe to be silent.
We have no confirmation that Obama’s staff or campaign committee actually paid Wright the bribe. The investigation never went that far. After all, the potential offender was a Democrat, Obama, and not a Republican, Trump.
G’ day…Ciao…
