Dershowitz: Stone indictment ‘typical of Mueller,’ not evidence of collusion
by Jerry McCormick
Famed attorney Alan Dershowitz blasted Robert Mueller over his most recent indictment of Roger Stone.
Dershowitz essentially accused Mueller of creating crimes where none exist. “This is typical of Mueller. He has found almost no crimes that occurred before he was appointed special counsel,” he said on Friday in an appearance on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.”
The Master of Deception
When Mueller undertook this investigation, he was supposed to be focused on finding proof of collusion.
After wasting nearly two years and millions of dollars, he has found no evidence to support the claim that President Donald Trump, as a candidate, ever colluded with the Russians for the purpose of winning the presidential election.
Yes, Mueller has issued several indictments, but they are actually irrelevant to the main point of the probe.
“Almost all of his crimes that he’s indicted people for are crimes that resulted from his investigation,” Dershowitz stated.
That can sound just a bit confusing, so allow me to explain.
Mueller is a master at tripping people up once he gets them under oath.
He hammers his witnesses relentlessly, hitting them from several different angles to confuse them.
Once he knows he has the witness confused, he will revisit something they have testified on before on in the hopes of tripping them up, which is pretty easy to do at that point.
A witness confuses their timelines or events, and poof, all of a sudden, they are guilty of lying under oath or misleading investigators.
That is the primary reason Trump’s attorneys are refusing to allow the president to sit down with him.
Roger Stone Indictment
Dershowitz’s analysis comes after the Friday arrest of Roger Stone.
Just as many of the indictments in this investigation, nothing in the Stone indictment points to actual collusion.
Much of this case centers around Stone’s testimony about his communications regarding Wikileaks in 2016.
But, as several legal pundits noticed, significant information is missing on even these charges.
The one area where Stone may end up in trouble, though, is witness tampering, as the case against him in the indictment seems fairly strong, according to legal experts.
But the bottom line, Dershowitz said, is that Mueller has “virtually failed” in actually doing the task he was hired to do.
On this, Dershowitz said, “But it really means there’s been a failure to uncover the basic crimes for which he was appointed. Namely, before he was appointed, was there illegal collusion, illegal conspiracy with Russia.”
So far, the answer to that question is a resounding “No.”
Which leads us to wonder, why is this investigation still running?

Probing Mueller: What Were His Roles in Boston Mafia Murders, Uranium One, and Other FBI Scandals?
Why has Robert Mueller (shown) been shielded from questions about his role in some of the FBI’s most shameful scandals? Is it because his “Russia collusion” probe is the pointy tip of the Deep State spear aimed at President Trump?
What was Robert Mueller’s role in the infamous “partnership” between the FBI and the Boston Mafia that involved multiple murders, racketeering, extortion, witness tampering, and much more? Special Counsel Robert Mueller has a media-crafted image as “Mr. Integrity,” a straight-shooting, non-partisan, nose-to-the-grindstone, publicity-shunning public servant. The anti-Trump media projected the same kind of squeaky-clean image for former FBI Director James Comey. However, it is now public knowledge that he is a lying, leaking, partisan, political hack who grossly abused his powerful office. He should be facing criminal prosecution instead of being rewarded with a secretive (and potentially illegal) multi-million dollar book deal.
Robert Mueller’s past appears to be even more checkered than Comey’s. In her blog post for March 20, investigative reporter Sarah Carter brings up nagging questions about Robert Mueller’s troubled history that refuse to go away — because they have never been answered. Entitled, “Questions Still Surround Robert Mueller’s Boston Past,” the article deals with Mueller's involvement in what is usually referred to as “The Whitey Bulger Case” or “The FBI-Boston Mob Case,” one of the most sensational black eyes the FBI has ever suffered.
Whitey Bulger, as The New American detailed back in 1998 (“FBI Covering for Criminals”), was the murderous boss of Boston’s notorious Winter Hill Gang, also known as the “Irish Mafia.” For two decades (1975-1994) Bulger led a charmed existence, as his brutal gang carried out their crime rampage under the FBI’s protection! Time after time, Massachusetts state and local police had their elaborate, years-long investigations of Bulger foiled by FBI interference. FBI Special Agent John Connolly and John Morris, who was in charge of the FBI’s Boston Organized Crime Squad, were Bulger’s protectors and would tip him off to investigations and wiretaps by other police agencies. This corrupt FBI-Bulger relationship was dramatized in Martin Scorcese’s 2006 film, The Departed, starring Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Matt Damon. In 1994, Bulger was tipped off by his FBI handler John Connolly that investigators were closing in on him. He went on the lam and eluded capture for 16 years. He was arrested in California in 2011 and went on trial in 2013, charged with 32 counts of racketeering, including 19 murders. The jury convicted Bulger of 31 of the 32 counts, including 11 of the 19 murders. He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences plus five years.
While Bulger was on the run, his FBI partners in crime, Connolly and Morris, were arrested and indicted. In 2008 Connolly was convicted for his role in the murders of FBI informant John B. Callahan and Oklahoma businessman Roger Wheeler. Connolly’s supervisor John Morris was allowed to get off by testifying against his underling and longtime co-conspirator. Who gave Morris a “get out of jail free” card, and why? Family members of the FBI-Bulger murder victims were outraged, as were police officials, who had had their painstaking investigations wrecked, their officers and investigators endangered, and their informants killed. Why was Morris being protected, and who above him in the chain of command was being protected? To those who had been following the FBI-Winter Hill Gang activities for years, it was inconceivable that the corrupt relationship could have gone on for so long without the knowledge (and perhaps approval?) of higher-ups in the Bureau and the Department of Justice. Why might FBI/DOJ higher-ups approve? Because while Bulger was using them for protection against prosecution, they were using him for information to arrest and prosecute other mobsters, which gave them media headlines and political kudos. In short, Bulger gave the FBI/DOJ plenty of feathers for their caps, while they wiped out his competition.
In her March 20 blog post. Sarah Carter links to a noteworthy 2011 article by Boston Globecolumnist Kevin Cullen entitled, “A lingering question for the FBI Director.” The FBI Director Cullen was referring to was then-Director Robert Mueller, who had previously been one of the DOJ attorneys tasked with overseeing the FBI-Bulger criminal operation. The Cullen article introduces readers to objections raised against Mueller by Mike Albano, a former member of the Massachusetts parole board and the former mayor of Springfield, Massachusetts. He was objecting at the time to the reappointment of Mueller as FBI chief.
While on the parole board, Albano had become convinced that the FBI and DOJ had framed four men with bogus evidence for the 1965 gangland murder of a Boston hoodlum named Teddy Deegan. Albano decided to vote in favor of parole for Peter Limone, one of the four. “So in 1983, after Albano indicated he might vote to release Limone, he got a visit from a pair of FBI agents named John Connolly and John Morris,” Cullen reported. “They told Albano that the men convicted of Deegan’s murder were bad guys, made guys. ‘They told me that if I wanted to stay in public life, I shouldn’t vote to release a guy like Limone,’ Albano said. ‘They intimidated me.’’’
The FBI and DOJ framed the four scapegoats, who were then sent to prison for the Deegan murder to protect Bulger, his henchman Steve “The Rifleman” Flemmi, and Flemmi’s brother, Vincent “Jimmy” Flemmi. “After Albano was elected mayor of Springfield in 1995, he soon found the FBI hot on his tail, investigating his administration for corruption,” Cullen noted. “The FBI took down several people in his administration, and Albano is convinced that the FBI wasn’t interested in public integrity as much as in publicly humiliating him because he dared to defy them.”
In 2001, Albano was vindicated. The four men who had been wrongly convicted in the Deegan murder were exonerated. Two of them had already died in prison. As a result of this shocking government malfeasance, the two surviving victims and the families of the deceased were awarded compensation of $100 million — courtesy of the taxpayers.
“Albano was appalled that, later that same year, Mueller was appointed FBI director, because it was Mueller, first as an assistant U.S. attorney then as the acting U.S. attorney in Boston, who wrote letters to the parole and pardon boards throughout the 1980s opposing clemency for the four men framed by FBI lies,” writes the Boston Globe’s Cullen. “Of course, Mueller was also in that position while Whitey Bulger was helping the FBI cart off his criminal competitors even as he buried bodies in shallow graves along the Neponset.”
Unfortunately, members of Congress from both sides of the aisle were too busy singing Mueller’s praises — from the sheet music provided by the FBI-DOJ scriptwriters and their Deep State media allies — to listen to Mayor Albano’s warnings. Why have Mueller and the other top DOJ/FBI officials implicated in the long-running FBI-Winter Hill Mob conspiracy not been questioned or held to account?
Mueller’s Russia-Clinton Collusion
Incredibly, the ongoing Mueller-directed farce popularly referred to as the “Trump-Russia collusion” investigation is being directed by a man who should be officially considered a top “Russia collusion” suspect. It was FBI Director Mueller, after all, who, along with then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, failed to take any action to stop the sale of Uranium One to Russia (see here, here, and here). Giving Putin 20 percent of our uranium production capacity seems to be a bit more serious than anything Donald Trump or anyone in his retinue have been accused of.
And what was Director Mueller doing while President Obama and Secretary Clinton were helping Putin build Skolkovo, Russia’s hi-tech version of Silicon Valley? Then there is the matter of Director Mueller himself flying to Moscow, per instructions of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to deliver a sample of highly enriched uranium to Russia, as Steve Byas reported here last August. Mueller’s press corps (CNN, Vox, Snopes, the New York Times, Huffington Post, et al) have all closed ranks to assure the public that “there’s nothing to see here, move along.”
Mueller is the establishment’s golden boy who must be protected; his halo must remain untarnished if he is to carry out his Deep State assignment to unseat President Trump.
Who are the behind-the-scenes manipulators who are guiding, propping up, and protecting Mueller? Some idea of the Deep State forces that are propelling his “investigation” can be seen in the strategic promotion he has received from quarters such as the Council on Foreign Relations(CFR), the premier brain trust pushing for world government. Not only has Mueller been an honored speaker (see embedded video below) at the CFR and many of its affiliated and allied institutions, but he is the recipient of constant accolades by the CFR-dominated, anti-Trump media combine.
Is it long past time to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate the Special Counsel, as some Republican members of Congress have proposed? Who will investigate the investigator? We have been told the House and Senate Intelligence Committees are looking into these and other troubling questions about Mueller’s past. It is vitally important that these matters be thoroughly investigated and exposed — before “Smoke-and-Mirrors” Mueller and his Fake News allies gin up enough support to transform the current media-driven impeachment campaign against President Trump into an official impeachment proceeding.

World’s Richest Man, Democrat Billionaire Amazon CEO & Washington Post Owner Jeff Bezos Gave Away .0906 Percent to Charity Last Year
For the world’s richest man, charity begins — and stays — at home.
Although Bezos, 55, and his estranged wife MacKenzie recently pledged $2 billion to a new charitable initiative, their previous giving amounts to a total of just over $145 million or .0906 percent — far less than one percent — of their net worth. Out of $100,000, that would be like spending $90.06 on charity.
“The record of both Amazon and Jeff Bezos reveals that they are takers, not givers,” said Queens City Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer, whose district includes Long Island City, where Amazon plans to set up a corporate headquarters. “When they make promises of how generous they will be, I look at what they have done in the past to know what the truth really is.”
Over nearly two decades, Jeff Bezos has given paltry donations to the Bezos Family Foundation, a charity that was started by his parents in Washington state in Sept. 2000, state incorporation filings show.
Between 2000 and 2017, Bezos contributed just under $6 million to the group that Jacklyn and Miguel Bezos kickstarted with $20,000.
Ma and Pa Bezos, who were early investors in their son’s fledgling company in 1995, are worth as much as $30 billion today.
In 2004, Bezos, who had already amassed a net worth of just over $2 billion, joined the board of his parents’ non-profit, along with his wife and siblings Mark and Lisa and their respective partners, according to tax filings for the group reviewed by The Post.
But it was the parents who continued to finance the non-profit, mainly through donations of Amazon stock. In 2017, Jacklyn and Miguel Bezos contributed $30,266,250 in stock to their charity, public documents show. (The foundation makes donations to educational initiatives in the US and around the world.)
It wasn’t until 2011 that Jeff Bezos, whose wealth had shot up to more than $18 billion, finally gave his first contribution to the Bezos Family Foundation: $940,538 in Amazon stock through Zefram LLC, a company that he controls, federal filings show.
Inside Amazon's Jeff Bezos' meteoric rise to riches
As his wealth climbed, Bezos continued to keep a tight rein on his cash, at least when it came to his family charity. In 2015, the year his wealth took a nearly $30 billion leap and his net worth shot up to $58.4 billion, the family foundation received a total of $5,002,590 in Amazon stock from Jeff and MacKenzie, public records show.
The $5,943,128 the tech titan donated to his parents’ charity over the last 17 years averages less than $350,000 annually.
Bezos has long been known for his stingy ways with employees at Amazon. According to Brad Stone’s 2013 book “The Everything Store,” meals in the company cafeterias are not subsidized for workers and new employees receive a backpack with orientation materials and various pieces of equipment, including a power adaptor, that they are asked to return upon resignation.
But in the last year Bezos seems to have opened his philanthropic spigot slightly. He took to Twitter to ask his 700,000 followers for suggestions on the direction his philanthropy should take, and he recently doled out $33 million to finance scholarships for undocumented immigrants who were brought to the US as children and $10 million to With Honor, a political action committee that helps veterans enter politics.
After announcing the creation of the Bezos Day One Fund, an initiative to battle homelessness and support early childhood education with the creation of Montessori schools in needy neighborhoods in September, Bezos earmarked $97.5 million to homeless charities across the country.
Still, the grand total of Bezos’s giving — $146,443,128 — is well below other major wealthy philanthropists who signed on to billionaire investor Warren Buffett’s 2006 challenge to give half their fortune to philanthropy.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates is the most generous philanthropist in the US according to a survey by “The Chronicle of Philanthropy,” a Washington-based group that tracks giving. Gates has given out $35.8 billion — more than one third of his current $96 billion net worth — in contributions to global health, education and relief projects from his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation since 2000. In 2018, federal filings show the couple doled out nearly $5 billion in contributions, equivalent to 5 percent of their wealth, in a single year.
Last year, Bloomberg, who is worth an estimated $46.3 billion, pledged $1.8 billion to Johns Hopkins University, to be used exclusively for financial aid. Previously, he has donated a total of more than $6 billion to charitable causes, or nearly 13 percent of his net worth.
Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, whose wealth is estimated at $54.3 billion, has pledged to donate 99 percent of his shares in the social media site to charity.
In Long Island City, where Amazon is set to gain more than $1.5 billion in city tax creditsand a helipad for executive use in exchange for agreeing to set up half of its headquarters — the other half is slated for Arlington, VA — the company has so far promised $5 million for “work force development,” Van Bramer told The Post. The company said that it plans to create 25,000 jobs in the city.
“It’s not very encouraging,” Van Bramer said of Bezos’ past lack of largesse, adding that Amazon executives and City Council members are meeting on Wednesday to address the company’s role in community development in Long Island City. “Bezos needs to be more.
‘LIBERTY STATE’: Patriotic, Freedom-Loving Washington State Conservative Lawmakers Introduce Bill to Declare Independence From Seattle Commies
A 51st state, called Liberty, would have political clout and an ag-based economy
The State of Liberty would be comprised of the 20 counties of Eastern Washington knotted by conservative politics, wide-open landscapes and a shared reliance on natural resources and government services.
It’s easy to dismiss House Joint Memorial 4000 with an eye roll and a “here we go again.”
The measure proposes to split Washington in half and create a new state called Liberty.
Similar legislation proposed in 1915, 1985, 1991, 2005 and 2015 never gained much traction.
But does this year of political upheaval and civil unrest portend a different outcome?
Supporters of Liberty aren’t the type to back down.
“Broadcasting live from the capital of free Washington, and the future capital of the State of Liberty, Spokane Valley,” is how 51st state champion Rep. Matt Shea often introduces his podcasts. “We are making this real.”
He boasts that the new state would “rival Texas in prosperity” and lead to lower taxes.
The west side of Washington, he warns, will turn into its own “socialist utopia” and collapse without the rugged mindset and agricultural backbone of Eastern Washington.
Anyone who’s visited both sides of the Cascade Mountains notices the difference in politics, economy, climate and traffic. One is the Evergreen State. The other could be coined the Sagebrush State.
The question of splitting the state has always boiled down to whether the eastern half could prosper without the financial support of Seattle.
Supporters are confident and point to a region rich in agriculture and electricity.
Opponents say Liberty would suffer without the taxes generated by some of the world’s best companies such as Microsoft, Boeing and Amazon.
Liberty would have great colleges and hospitals, both public and private.
But the 51st state would be landlocked without easy access to the shipping docks of Seattle, though it would have Columbia and Snake River ports that link to Portland and the Pacific.
And though Liberty would have far fewer people, it would gain national political clout and rival or surpass many other Western states in population and wealth. It would be larger than Montana, Wyoming and the Dakotas. It would continue to capture billions of federal dollars to clean up the Hanford nuclear site.
While Shea advocates making Spokane Valley the new state capital, others aren’t so sure.
“I think it should be in Moses Lake,” said Spokane Valley Councilman Ed Pace, who is so excited about the formation of Liberty that he’s asked the Spokane Valley City Council to take a stand on it.
Carol Paul, the Lincoln County GOP chairman and another supporter of the 51st State, said one problem with Washington is that Olympia is physically too far away for many residents, and ideologically out of touch with most of the state.
“The capital should be in Moses Lake, Ephrata or Ellensburg,” Paul said. “The capital should be accessible and centrally located.”
Spokane is not be in the initial running for capital, perhaps leading to the city’s cool reception to Liberty.Spokane City Council President Ben Stuckart likened the idea of secession to shooting oneself in the foot.
The main industries in Liberty would be agriculture, manufacturing, education, trade, and government infrastructure and services.
In 2014, for instance, the value of the apple industry was almost $3 billion, according to the Washington Apple Commission’s Todd Fryhover.
“We employ over 55,000 people during peak season,” Fryhover said. He added that there clearly is a disconnect between the east and the west sides of the Cascades, but would prefer another solution than secession.
“We do great things over here but we probably don’t sing our own praises enough,” Fryhover said. “We don’t go over to the west side and educate people on where our food comes from.”
So, would Liberty be a prosperous state?
“It’s tough to say if a new state would have a viable economy,” said Jamie Rossman, a policy adviser for the Washington state Department of Commerce.
Liberty’s economy would depend heavily on exports, but would also retain a much lower cost of living, compared to the west side.
“It wouldn’t have a major port, which can be a problem when you depend on export,” Rossman said. “But there are so many other factors to take into consideration like education and infrastructure.”
Eastsiders often complain that they pay taxes to Olympia, but get little back because of spending on Seattle-area freeways and Olympia bureaucracy.
According to a 2012 study by an Evergreen State College research team,King County produces 42 percent of the state’s tax revenues – but receives less than 26 percent back in the form of state benefits. That’s a return of 62 cents on the dollar.
Spokane County receives more back than it pays in: $1.35 for every dollar, according to the study. Rural Ferry County gets $3.16 back for every dollar it sends to Olympia.
The numbers – and recent election results – suggest Liberty is about ideology more so than cherry picking parts of the state to make a stronger economy.
Paul said she’s tired of what she calls “Western Washington’s harebrained ideas.”
“A benefit would be that we can govern ourselves, instead of being governed by initiatives instigated by anyone who can get enough signatures on a petition,” Paul said, “and make it sound like a good idea while hiding the snake in the grass.”
Pace said it’s a good exercise in evaluating how the state is governed now and what could change. He’d like for the cities to have more freedom when it comes to economic development.
“I’d like for us to have a business climate that’s more like Idaho,” Pace said. “Idaho has a lower B&O tax and a lower minimum wage. If we had a 51st state we could create an environment that’s better for business.”
Pace said maybe the question isn’t how Liberty would pay for a service level akin to Washington’s, but which services could be narrowed.
“What would it look like to have a state that lives within its means; that’s what we should look at,” Pace said.
Rep. Bob McCaslin, Jr., R-Spokane Valley, is one of the co-sponsors of the measure. At a GOP town hall meeting in Spokane Valley two weeks ago, McCaslin said he co-sponsored House Joint Memorial 4000 in memory of his dad, longtime state senator Bob McCaslin Sr., who really believed in the idea.
“I like that the bill has started a conversation,” McCaslin said, “and brought some different people together.”
So does Liberty have a chance this year?
“Absolutely not,” McCaslin said. “It doesn’t have a chance.”

HGTV Star and Mother of Four: New York Abortion Law ‘Heartbreaking’
By VICTORIA ROBINSON
The picture on the left is my granddaughter, who at this very moment is growing in her Mommy’s belly, along with her twin sister. My daughter is 24 weeks pregnant. Today, in our country, if she chose to do so, she could walk into an abortion clinic and abort both her daughters.
Does my granddaughter resemble a human being or a blob of tissue to you? I find this little girl to be beautiful as she continues to grow in the safety of her mother’s womb.
The picture on the right is another one of my daughters, who is 41 weeks pregnant. As I write this piece, I am in Maui and awaiting my granddaughter’s arrival. She will be born any day now.
New York’s Abortion Bill
This week, New York state passed a bill to legalize abortion up to birth, thanks to Hillary Clinton, Andrew Cuomo, and the abortion industry, who have pushed this bill for over ten years.
There was cheering as the announcement was made that the bill had passed. Cheering. Let that sink in. Governor Cuomo then ordered the World Trade Center be lit pink to celebrate. Pink? I think red would have been more appropriate, symbolizing blood and the continued loss of life to come.
Once again, our country has reiterated that the womb is one of the most dangerous places to reside.
Do you hear and understand what I’m saying?! Science has proven we are human with our own unique DNA at conception. Ultrasound has proven babies feel pain in the womb, with a heartbeat detected as early as 4 to 7 weeks after conception.
Heartbroken
My heart is broken. Absolutely broken. Not only for the future of these unborn babies, but for their parents when they one day realize what they’ve done. I truly feel sick to my stomach.
Whether you are pro-life or pro-choice this bill should break your heart too.
Recently, a male teenager asked me “How can it be double homicide if you murder a pregnant woman and yet that same mother can choose to take the life of her unborn child if she doesn’t want it?” What do we say to young people looking to us for answers to answerable questions?!
There has never been a case and there never will be where it is necessary to abort a full-term baby to save the life of the mother. If the mother’s life were in danger, the doctor would simply deliver the child!
In the State of NY, it is illegal to use lethal injection on a criminal. Yet, with the passing of this bill, it is now legal to use lethal injection on a full-term baby. Let that sink in for a minute.
God help us.
G’ day…Ciao…
