Texas Secretary of State David Whitley Announces Widespread Voter Fraud in 2018

Turns out elections really are being rigged. And not just in far-off places like Chicago or Detroit, but apparently much too close to home. Massachusetts?

Texas Secretary of State David Whitley Announces widespread voter fraud in 2018. 95,000 non-citizen legal immigrants registered, 58,000 Voted.

Today, Texas Secretary of State David Whitley announced the results of a year long investigation into voter fraud. He stated they have identified 95,000 non-citizens who are currently registered to vote in the state of Texas – 58,000 of which have voted in one or more election. Republican Party of Texas Chairman James Dickey commented:

“We applaud the efforts by the office of the Texas Secretary of State to expose this widespread voter fraud. Secretary of State David Whitley’s announcement provides undeniable proof that voter fraud has been significant – even in Texas. Identifying ineligible registrations and removing them from the voter rolls is the first step toward restoring integrity to our electoral process. No doubt these voters affected election results in 2018. We can not afford voter fraud in 2020 and must stop this abuse now. It is a crime and it is damaging to our republic. We ask the Legislature to consider what additional changes may be needed to reduce potential voter fraud and protect the right to vote for all Texas citizens.”

The Texas Secretary of State’s office announced the identification of 95,000 non-citizens who were on the voter rolls today just before 2:00 p.m. The Republican Party of Texas will continue to work with legislators during the 86th Legislative Session to create and pass legislation to secure the ballot box.

Newt Gingrich says Trump faces the most biased media since Lincoln

The media despises President Donald Trump, this we all know.

According to former GOP congressman and Fox News contributor Newt Gingrich, a sitting president has not faced this much hostility from the media in more than 150 years.

Familiar Reaction

In an op-ed for Newsweek, Gingrich decried the state of the anti-Trump media, and pointed out that the press hasn’t been so vehemently opposed to a sitting president since Abraham Lincoln’s day.

For evidence, he quoted the coverage printed in the Memphis Daily Appeal in 1860.

Take a look:

Within 90 days from the time XXX is inaugurated, the Republican Party will be utterly ruined and destroyed. His path is environed with so many difficulties, that even if he had the ability of Jefferson and the energy of Jackson, he would fail, but he is a weak and inexperienced man, and his administration will be doomed from the commencement. If he takes that radical section of the Republican Party, the conservative wing of it will cut loose and repudiate him. If, on the other hand, he courts the conservatives and pursues a moderate conciliatory policy, the radicals will make open war upon his administration.

Another passage was quoted from northern paper The New York Herald:

As President of the United States he must have enough sense to see and acknowledge he has been an egregious failure. One thing must be self-evident to him, and that is that under no circumstances can he hope to be the next President of the United States… [He should] retire from the position to which, in an evil hour, he was exalted.

Now, nobody is comparing Trump to Lincoln. But history has proven Lincoln to have been a great president.

At the time, it would have been kind to call him “controversial.”

However, our country would not be what it is today without Lincoln’s leadership during those times of crisis.

Trump’s Legacy

Trump’s supporters knew his presidency was going to be a bumpy ride.

However, there were and remain some major challenges in regard to making this country a better, safer place.

The one topic nobody has ever wanted to take on directly is the problem of illegal immigration.

In 1882, the United States enacted its first major immigration legislation to control the flow of immigration into the country.

The next major piece of legislation was signed in 1891.

More than 100 years ago, elected representatives realized the need to control the flow of immigration.

Now, almost 130 years later, the Democrats are in essence insisting we go back to pre-1882 standards for immigration.

Much like Lincoln, Trump faces a hostile media and political environment as he tries to move this country forward.

The Pro-Life Movement's Greatest Orator

Dr. Mildred Fay Jefferson: The Pro-Life Movement’s Greatest Orator

January 23, 2019

By Mary Kizior

The pro-life movement has been blessed to have many great founding leaders who worked in support of personhood for every innocent human being from their beginning. These heroes dedicated their lives and careers to preserving the lives of preborn babies and to educating the public on the horrors of the many threats against them. One such heroine was Dr. Mildred Fay Jefferson—a petite African American doctor with a powerful message of respect for all human beings from creation until death.

Overcoming incredible odds

Dr. Mildred Fay Jefferson was born in Texas in 1926 at a time of intense racism and prejudice against the African American population. Exceptionally intelligent, Dr. Jefferson graduated high school at the age of 15 and college at the age of 18. She earned a master’s degree in biology before moving on to become the first black woman to graduate, in 1951, from Harvard Medical School. She then became the first woman to intern at Boston City Hospital, the first female surgeon at the Boston University Medical Center, and the first woman elected to membership of the Boston Surgical Society.

But Dr. Jefferson didn’t stop there. Her determination and concern for others led her to the pro-life movement. Driven by her heartfelt patriotism and strong faith in God, Dr. Jefferson worked to protect babies from abortion. Helping found the National Right to Life Committee in the early 1970s, Dr. Jefferson was a leading spokesperson of the pro-life movement for many years, mentoring and influencing other pro-life leaders such as Judie Brown, cofounder of American Life League.

Dr. Jefferson believed that pro-lifers have a duty to engage in the political processes of our great nation in order to give a voice to preborn children who can’t vote or speak for themselves. She said: “I am at once a physician, a citizen, and a woman, and I am not willing to stand aside and allow this concept of expendable human lives to turn this great land of ours into just another exclusive reservation where only the perfect, the privileged, and the planned have the right to live.” She understood that if she didn’t speak up, no one else would take her place. She could have kept her pro-life beliefs to herself, so as not to call attention to herself or upset her colleagues, but she knew she could never stay silent. She felt it was her duty to give voice to preborn children, no matter the personal cost to herself.

As a gifted orator, Dr. Jefferson traveled throughout the country to speak in front of thousands of people. Always committed to the fight for life, she testified several times before Congress, using her medical expertise in defense of the preborn child. “I became a physician in order to help save lives, not to destroy them,” she said. Her logical defense of the preborn child’s right to life on the television program The Advocates in 1972 influenced then-President Ronald Reagan’s views on abortion and helped him to become one of the staunchest supporters of the pro-life movement in the White House.

During the 1970s, Dr. Jefferson was the national media’s most popular pro-life advocate, appearing on dozens of national television programs and being quoted or featured in countless major newspapers in the United States.

An educational program in the vision of Dr. Jefferson

The Culture of Life Studies Program is dedicated to Dr. Jefferson and her vision of a pro-life America where all human beings are respected and protected through all stages of biological development. CLSP is dedicated to the fact that this respect for the human person is not an opinion held by a select few pro-lifers, but a deeply held belief by countless American citizens and leaders alike. CLSP continues the legacy of Dr. Jefferson by creating a supplemental curriculum to teach students K-12 about the issues facing the pro-life movement and, by extension, the nation today. Students are not only receiving a quality education and learning fundamental truths about the sanctity of all human beings, they are also taught how they can evangelize and change their culture.

In an age where babies are murdered because of the color of their skin or because they are female, Dr. Mildred Jefferson remains an inspiration through her tenacity and tireless service in the pro-life movement. Dr. Jefferson’s life is an example to all pro-life people that, no matter what obstacles society puts in our way, we have the duty to protect all human beings from creation until death and to create a culture of life.

This month, take some time to introduce your students to this brave woman. To get a sense of Dr. Jefferson’s passion and eloquence as life defender, watch this video in which she speaks about the right to life. You could also show students this longer video tribute about Dr. Jefferson’s life and her involvement in the pro-life movement.
