Mr. President, Here’s What You Must Tell The American People Tonight
President Trump is never going to get the wall on our southern border funded and built until the Democrats in Congress feel the heat for their open borders policy – and the person who can be most effective in putting that heat on the Democrats is our president, Donald J. Trump.
Ever since Trump took the principled position that he would not sign a budget for the Department of Homeland Security that did not include funds for one of its most important missions – securing our southern border – the establishment media has endlessly repeated the Democrats’ arguments against the wall.
“It’s immoral, it won’t work, it’s too expensive,” and on and on, over and over.
The President should use tonight's address to make Democrats own the effects of their policies and brand them as the Party of the murder, drug pushing, economic upheaval and chaos that their policies have brought to our country.
The establishment media will never tell the American people about the seven illegal aliens involved in the murder of California police Corporal Ron Singh – but President Trump can, and he should place the blame for Singh’s death squarely upon the Democrats and their open borders policies.
The establishment media will never tell the American people that illegal Fentanyl is flooding the southern border, and that in just the first five months of 2018, customs officers and U.S. Border Patrol agents seized 1,060 pounds of Fentanyl – but President Trump can, and he should place the blame for the thousands of Fentanyl overdose deaths that now occur every year squarely upon the Democrats and their open borders policies.
The establishment media will never tell the American people that in the Rio Grande Valley Sector of the southern border alone there has been an increase of over 300% in the number of MS-13 gang members crossing this year – but President Trump can, and he should place the blame squarely upon the Democrats and their open borders policies for the murder, drug trafficking and human trafficking that has followed in the wake of the MS-13 invasion.
The establishment media will never tell the American people that Democrats have intentionally created a chaotic border – but President Trump can, and he can explain that through this chaos the Democrats have intentionally created a magnet for people with criminal history, pedophiles, gang members, MS-13, 18th Street gang members, sex offenders, violent offenders, and other criminal aliens.
Conservative positions and political figures never benefit from the kind of free, establishment media repetition that helps Democrats sell their liberal positions, and coverage of President Trump has been especially bad. According to studies by the Media Research Center, over 90 percent of the coverage of President Trump in general has been negative and 92 percent of the network coverage of President Trump’s immigration policies has also been negative.
There is only one thing that can punch through that blizzard of negative repetition – a primetime presidential address.
When he speaks tonight, conservatives who are President Trump’s staunchest supporters on the issues of border security and preserving American sovereignty and exceptionalism must be rallied to call Congress and jam the halls of the Capitol demanding the wall be built.
And the President’s economic nationalist supporters must be told to pack the offices of Congress to demand their Representative and Senators build the wall to protect their economic future and the quality of life of American workers and their families from the effects of diluting the American workforce with millions of low-skilled, low-wage illegal aliens.
The presidential prime-time address is so valuable a tool to focus the concentration of the citizenry that it has been referred to as “the single greatest home-court advantage in the modern world.”
The Left has made its opposition to the border wall clear, but the dangers of not having a border wall are being ignored, and only you, Mr. President, using the proven technique of a primetime TV address pioneered by President Ronald Reagan can make those dangers known to the American people. It’s time to tell the American people who the Democrats really are, and who their open borders policies are really hurting.

Personal note from Helen and Moe Lauzier…
We’ve witnessed some sad and frustrating things in politics. The party of Jack and Bob Kennedy, Harry Truman and many others is the captive of sycophants of the left. For them this is a game. They hate the president more than they love America.
John Bolton: No Withdrawal from Syria Without Security Guarantees for Kurds
U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton said in remarks during his trip to Israel Sunday that President Donald Trump does not intend to withdraw troops from Syria until he is satisfied with security guarantees for the Syrian Kurdish militias fighting there, which have played a key role in the defeat of the Islamic State.
The Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG/YPJ) have proven to be America’s most reliable ally in Syria, leading the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) coalition that liberated Raqqa, the “capital” of the caliphate, from ISIS. The government of Turkey considers the YPG a terrorist group indistinguishable from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), a Marxist organization Washington has designated a terrorist group, as well.
Washington maintains that the YPG and the PKK are two different entities, infuriating the government of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Following President Donald Trump’s remarks implying he would soon withdraw all U.S. troops from Syria, Erdogan officials suggested they were ready to send troops into northern Manbij, Syria, where the YPG is established. American troops are currently stationed in Manbij, making a Turkish offensive against the Kurds a major risk for Ankara.
Speaking shortly before leaving to Ankara to meet with senior Turkish officials, including Erdogan, Bolton asserted that the Trump administration highly discouraged Turkish troops from operating without coordinating with U.S. counterparts, particularly regarding the Syrian Kurds.
“We don’t think the Turks ought to undertake military action that’s not fully coordinated with and agreed to by the United States, at a minimum, so they don’t endanger our troops but also so that they meet the president’s requirement that the Syrian opposition forces that have fought with us are not endangered,” Bolton reportedly said, adding that Trump would “not allow Turkey to kill the Kurds.”
Bolton asserted that U.S. troops were not going to leave the Manbij area anytime soon without concrete safeguards in place for the Kurds, suggesting an indefinite timeline for withdrawal, if withdrawal occurs at all. The New York Times reported that Bolton required of the Turks significant assurances that they would not expel the Kurds from Manbij before U.S. troops left.
This contrasted with initial statements President Trump made lat month stating that, as the Islamic State no longer posed the threat it once did, he would have his troops leave the Syrian war theater.
“We have started returning United States troops home as we transition to the next phase of this campaign,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said at the time. “The United States and our allies stand ready to re-engage at all levels to defend American interests whenever necessary, and we will continue to work together to deny radical Islamist terrorists territory, funding, support, and any means of infiltrating our borders.”
Trump dismissed the New York Times report on the indefinite Syria withdrawal on Twitter Monday.
“The Failing New York Times has knowingly written a very inaccurate story on my intentions on Syria,” he claimed. “No different from my original statements, we will be leaving at a proper pace while at the same time continuing to fight ISIS and doing all else that is prudent and necessary!”
Bolton arrived in Ankara Monday with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph Dunford and several other senior military leaders. Anadolu Agency, the state news organization of Turkey, reported that he would discuss the Syria situation as well as repeated Turkish demands to extradite Islamic cleric Fethullah Gülen, who lives in Pennsylvania and Erdogan claims operates a terrorist organization. Gülen leads an Islamic movement known as hismet and a network of charter schools around the world.
Yeni Safak, a virulently pro-Erdogan newspaper, reported that Bolton arrived in Ankara with a map of a “new Sykes-Picot” arrangement breaking up Syrian territory into Sunni Arab, Shiite Arab, and Kurdish sectors. The Sykes-Picot agreement of 1916 created the modern borders of the Middle East and became a rallying cry for the Islamic State in 2013-2014; the “caliphate” was intended to tear down the British and French early 20th century borders. Yeni Safak cited the Wall Street Journal as the source of their reporting.
“The issue is PKK/PYD/YPG are making efforts to establish an order by oppressing Kurds, who don’t obey them, and their terrorist activities against our country,” Erdogan spokesman Ibrahim Kalın said. “There is no doubt that a terror group cannot be an ally of the U.S.”

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer to Deliver Democrat Response to Trump Address
Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer to Deliver Democrat Response to Trump Address
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) will personally deliver the Democrat Party’s televised response to President Donald Trump’s Oval Office address on his proposal to erect a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
As a partial government shutdown extends into its third week, President Trump will make the case in a prime-time address that $5.6 billion in funding for the wall is required to solve the “crisis” at the southern border and end the partial closure of various federal agencies. The address, scheduled for 9:00 p.m. EST, will be broadcast by ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, MSNBC, and NBC.
On Monday, Pelosi and Schumer demanded all major news networks provide Democrats an opportunity to respond to the president’s speech to the nation, writing in a joint statement that they must granted “equal airtime
“Now that the television networks have decided to air the President’s address, which if his past statements are any indication will be full of malice and misinformation, Democrats must immediately be given equal airtime,” the Democrat leaders said.
CBS, CNN, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, and NBC have signaled that they will broadcast the Democrat’s rebuttal.
The White House announced this week that President Trump will visit the Southern border on Thursday to “meet with those on the front lines of the national security and humanitarian crisis.” The administration is evaluating a proposal to declare a national emergency to build the wall, which would circumvent the requirement for congressional approval for the plan.

Obama border patrol chief reveals the inconvenient truth about border walls. Democrats will not be happy
'I cannot think of a legitimate argument why anyone would not support the wall'
Mark Morgan, who served as chief of the Border Patrol during the Obama administration, explained Monday on Fox News the practicality of a border wall.
President Donald Trump insists a wall be built on the U.S.-Mexico border to maintain national security.
What did Morgan say?
Speaking with Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Morgan was frank about the effectiveness of border barriers.
"Yes, they absolutely work," Morgan said, noting that before Trump became president, increased border security measures enjoyed bipartisan support.
"If you look in the past, you don't have to go too far back in history that bipartisan legislation that was passed, the Secure Fence Act. In 2006 and 2016, bipartisan legislation passed where they built the wall or fence or physical barrier — whatever you want to call it," he explained.
"It's a wall — it works," Morgan emphasized.
Owing in part to their staunch opposition to Trump, Democrats have refused to compromise with the president on border security, resulting in a partial government shutdown. Trump said he will not approve spending bills without funding for the wall, while Democrats say they won't approve the funding.
But, according to Morgan, there is no sensible reason to oppose the wall. In fact, Morgan — whom Trump fired in the early days of his administration — said "historical data" and "facts" confirm walls effectively mitigate illegal immigration.
"I cannot think of a legitimate argument why anyone would not support the wall," Morgan affirmed.
