BOOM! Trump Approval Hits 52% — 9 Point Jump in 10 Days and One SOTU Address!
by Jim Hoft
President Trump’s approval rating is up 9 points since Friday, February 1.
President Trump’s approval rating reached 52%on Monday following the State of the Union Address last Tuesday.
Barack Obama’s approval rating was at 50% at a similar point in his presidency.
This is also despite national mainstream media reporting negatively on the highly successful President Trump 92% of the time.
Barack Obama had a cake walk with the media.
When President Trump gets a chance to tell his side of the story — unfiltered — and he gets a chance to tell THE FULL STORY with all of his accomplishments that are ignored by the state-run media his approval ratings skyrocket.
Trump should hold quarterly addresses to the nation.
Will 2020 Be a Repeat of 1972?

As George Santayana wrote, “those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
While it is unfair to ask the new leftists of today to recall the events of 1972 (that happened 17 years before Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was born), they would do well to study its history. Because they may be reliving it.
The election of Richard Nixon and defeat of Democratic candidate Hubert H. Humphrey in 1968 was a seminal moment in our history. The left’s hatred of Nixon was then as great as it is of Trump today, but of longer vintage. The liberals had been anti-Nixon ever since he began his career in 1946.
Humphrey was the Hillary of his day. A perennial candidate, he was the presumptive Democratic nominee. Everyone assumed it was his turn to run for president after serving as LBJ’s vice president.
But he faced an unexpectedly strong challenge to his nomination (some said coronation) from Senators Eugene McCarthy and Robert Kennedy, just as Hillary had to fend off Bernie Sanders.
After Humphrey went down to defeat at the hands of Nixon, the left felt that it would continue its march to take over the Democratic Party, just as it did after Hillary’s loss. In both cases, they moved the party to the left, capitalizing on the disappointment in the Democratic establishment and the hatred of the GOP incumbent.
The liberal media cheered the left on then as now, according massive coverage to its icons (Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin then and Ocasio-Cortez and the new Muslim congresswomen from Michigan and Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar now).
In 1972, Senator George McGovern of South Dakota emerged as the champion of the left, vanquishing Humphrey in the presidential primaries of 1972. Likewise, now a crowded field of leftist Democrats are emerging as contenders for their party’s nomination, moving demonstrably to the left of Joe Biden, the establishment’s mainstay.
And then, as now, the media cheers them on, breathlessly predicting their ultimate victory and celebrating their wins along the way. The momentum of the left seemed unstoppable in both years.
Until it was stopped, massively and completely in 1972 by the Nixon re-election campaign. Their progress, celebrated by the media, came to a crashing halt amid one of the greatest landslides in electoral history.
Nixon won 49 states leaving McGovern with only Massachusetts and DC. Nixon won 61% of the popular vote.
Under the protective coverage of the liberal media, the 1972 radicals had moved so far to the left that they abandoned their party’s traditional base. In the liberal echo chamber of the sycophantic media and the cheering campuses, they had deceived themselves into believing that the country was on their side. But the reality check of election day was brutal.
(The left’s reversals were short-lived because Nixon’s Watergate scandal and resignation erased the memory, but then-moderate Jimmy Carter still beat the leftists for the Democratic nomination in 1976).
Today, we see the left in the process of the same sort of self-immolation, embracing schemes for Medicare for all, open borders, legalized drugs, free tuition, a $15 minimum wage and a green agenda that calls for an end to air travel.
So many Americans do not like Donald Trump (I do) just as so many did not approve of Richard Nixon. But, just as Nixon’s negatives were overshadowed by fear of the leftist McGovern, so those of Trump may be overcome by revulsion against the new socialist Democratic left.
Beware AOC!
Antifa activist charged with assault on Marines tied to key Dem policymakers, including Maxine Waters
Tom Tillison
The violent domestic terrorist group Antifa has always been seen by skeptics as an extension of the Democratic Party, and while that may be too broad a generalization, it’s now clear members of the group are linked to key Democratic policymakers.
Joseph Alcoff is in court this week facing charges of aggravated assault and ethnic intimidation for allegedly being part of an Antifa mob that attacked two Marines in November, according to Fox News.
And Democrats have taken to distancing themselves from Alcoff now that he’s in the spotlight, but that appears to be a new development.
Fox News reported that “until recently he was a well-connected, aspiring political player in Washington who may have even had a hand in key policy proposals.”
“His endorsement apparently mattered when several congressional Democrats in February 2018 issued press releases with his quote backing their bill on regulating payday lenders.
As the payday campaign manager for the liberal group Americans for Financial Reform, Alcoff participated in congressional Democratic press conferences, was a guest on a House Democratic podcast and met with senior officials at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from 2016 through 2018.”
There is a photo shared online by the liberal group Americans for Financial Reform of Alcoff standing with Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., now chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee, and Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, ranking member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee.

Thank you @MaxineWaters for standing up for @CFPB and consumers. #DefendCFPB #StopTheDebtTrap As Fox News noted, Alcoff was advocating for policies overseen by the committees. All the while being an Antifa leader in DC under the fanatical personas, “Chepe” and “Jose Martin.”

In the February 2018 press statement, House and Senate Democrats co-sponsoring the Stopping Abuse and Fraud in Electronic (SAFE) Lending Act, which boosted regulation on payday lenders, issued versions of a press release, most including the Alcoff quote.
“The Consumer Bureau and Congress have in the past understood the way that payday lenders structure loans to catch Americans in a cycle of debt with exorbitant interest rates,” Alcoff said in the press releases. “It is unfortunate that some in Washington would rather open the loan shark gates than continue to think about sensible borrower protections. The SAFE Lending Act would put Washington back on track to stop the debt trap.”
In August, Alcoff was a guest on the House Democrats’ Joint Economic Committee podcast, criticizing the decline of the CFPB under the Trump administration.
“It’s been an incredible kind of erosion [Trump administration actions] recently, but these are really, really important basic functions [CFPB’s mission] that people across the country should be able to look to Washington and expect,” Alcoff said on the podcast.
Fox News reported that the offices of most Democrats in Congress contacted failed to respond, with the rare response being to dummy up.
Alcoff appeared at an event last March featuring Rep. Don Beyer, D-Va. — the Antifa leader was dressed up as “Lenny the Loan Shark,” showcasing a versatility at chasing the dollars.
When contacted, Beyer spokesman Aaron Fritschner told Fox News her boss didn’t know who he was because he was wearing a shark outfit.
“The congressman has never interacted with him nor has he taken any financial policy advice from him. Their names have appeared on the same piece of paper,” Beyer said. “He appeared at the same press conference, but they didn’t speak to each other. This person was literally wearing a shark outfit.”
Students all about Ocasio-Cortez's 'Green New Deal'...then find out what's in it

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has released the contents of her "Green New Deal."

Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips traveled to the University of Miami to find out what students thought of it.

Most students loved the Green New Deal...until finding out what's in it.
Last week, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unveiled her long-awaited “Green New Deal," a plan aimed at drastically reducing carbon emissions in the next ten years.
The plan has already received the endorsements of Democrat presidential candidates, like Senators Cory Booker and Kamala Harris but, for others, it has turned heads for its drastic approach to fighting climate change. Among the proposals initially listed in the plan were moving away completely from oil, coal, and natural gas within ten years, creating a high-speed rail system to help eliminate air travel, and renovating every home in America.
“sometimes you need to take extreme measures to save the environment, but I think this is too extreme." Tweet This
But perhaps the most controversial point of all was a plan to provide “economic security” for those “unwilling to work.”
Ocasio-Cortez has since removed the document from her website that included such language as eliminating air travel or providing help to those "unwilling to work," but archived data shows the initial post did, in fact, make such a statement. Ocasio-Cortez's chief of staff said this was merely a draft and that it was published by accident.
Since its unveiling, the plan has garnered noticeable support from young Americans on social media.
Wanting to know if the same people who support the New Green Deal would still support it after hearing what was actually in it, Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips headed to the University of Miami to find out.
First, asking their original perception of the plan, students made clear that they were on board.
“I like that it’s progressive, that it’s gonna push the world forward,” one student said, while another added, “just from knowing who’s endorsed it and some other little things, it sounds great.”
One student had a more serious view of the plan, saying, “if we didn’t do that, we’re going to be killing ourselves.”
“I view it favorably,” another said, while one more added, “it’s definitely a great idea.”
However, after walking through the contents of the Green New Deal, their tune quickly shifted.
“It doesn’t sound like something I would be behind,” one student admitted after hearing the details of the plan. Another added, “sometimes you need to take extreme measures to save the environment, but I think this is too extreme."
“I think that’s drastic...” the next student conceded.

Texas Just Built Their Own Wall
By Buzz News
This caravan believed they were in the clear. However, President Trump along with the great state of Texas showed them!
Donald Trump means business, folks. And so does Texas.
The President did not back away from his commitment to a wall and complete border security during his State of the Union.
He tweeted that the new military troops were being ordered to form a human wall if that’s what it takes until he gets the wall he promised.
Now thousands from a caravan are headed to the Texas border where no wall exists, thinking they can just waltz into our country.
But Texas had other plans. Note: Don’t Mess With Texas.
From Breitbart:
POLICE ARE LINING UP THEIR VEHICLES NEAR EAGLE PASS, TEXAS, TO HELP BORDER PATROL AGENTS STOP THE ILLEGAL CROSSING OF CARAVAN MIGRANTS WHO ARRIVED IN THE MEXICAN BORDER TOWN OF PIEDRAS NEGRAS LAST WEEK.
TEXAS GOVERNOR GREG ABBOTT DEPLOYED AN ADDITIONAL DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (DPS) TROOPERS TO THE REGION TO ASSIST IN SECURING THE BORDER SECTION THAT HAS NO PHYSICAL BARRIERS TO PREVENT ILLEGAL CROSSINGS.
Is that an awesome display of force or what? If I was looking to cross the border and break the law, that would make me turn right around.
People think Trump is just using the wall for politics. But they don’t understand what’s going on at the border, and they didn’t listen to Trump’s phenomenal speech.
Trump wants the human and drug trafficking to stop completely. He wants the laws of our nation followed. He wants women and children protected.
And people who fight against the wall are fighting for the cartels, the dealers, and the coyotes.
Only a show of force will overcome this clear invasion.
Nancy Pelosi gave an answer about late-term abortion that will make your jaw drop
After New York passed an abortion-up-until-birth law, millions of Americans all across the nation were disgusted and voiced their concern.
And now the Democrat party is trying to save face by distancing themselves from the uproar.
But what Nancy Pelosi just said about late-term abortion has her in deep trouble.
After President Trump delivered his State of the Union address where he defended unborn babies, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was visibly upset.
She was found scurrying her way through Congress and a Daily Caller reporter asked her what she thought about Trump calling for the end of late-term abortions.
Her response was: “It’s really quite a sad thing.”
The Daily Wire reports:
While rushing through the halls of Congress, a reporter with The Daily Caller confronted the House Speaker to get her thoughts on President Trump’s call for a ban on late-term abortions. Her answer was typical Nancy Pelosi.
“It’s really quite a sad thing when you know that we’ll be talking about something that applies to the health and life — health and ability to have other children of women,” said Pelosi. “I hope that in his family, he never has to face that crisis and apply his attitude toward it.”

Nancy Pelosi really stepped in it this time.
President Donald Trump received a 76% approval rating for his State of the Union address.
And millions of Americans agree with his sentiment from the speech that late-term abortion is simply immoral and disgusting.
But Pelosi thinks banning late-term abortion is “really quite a sad thing.”
Pelosi isn’t alone, however.
The Democrat Party’s platform is unfettered abortion-on-demand up until birth.
So they see any restriction on abortion as outrageous.
They cry for “bodily autonomy” for the mother, but don’t provide that same autonomy to the baby within the womb.
And some Democrats, like the disgraced Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, are even saying women should be able to leave their babies to die after they are born.
The fact of the matter is that Americans are starting to see the evil of abortion.
And you may be surprised to hear that it is actually the millennial generation that is leading that revolution.
According to a recent poll, only 7% of millennials agree with the Democrat Party’s platform on abortion and they support more pro-life laws than their parents.
That is bad news for Democrats like Nancy Pelosi who are in bed with Planned Parenthood and the Abortion Lobby.
Who do you agree with on late-term abortion: Donald Trump Nancy Pelosi?
G’ day…Ciao…
