Trey Gowdy says the CIA May Stop Giving Adam Schiff Information but the reason he gives is hilarious AND very true!

Schiff has had a rough week with his committee calling for his resignation (see below) and President Trump mocking him at his latest rally.

Gowdy spoke out on the fact that Schiff is known to leak information to the press:

“Adam is a deeply partisan person. He did everything he could to make sure Hillary Clinton became president. And he’s done everything he could to keep a cloud over the Trump presidency.”

He says that the CIA may stop giving Schiff information because ‘he leaks ‘like a screen door on a submarine’

Gowdy continued with what he believes will happen with Schiff:

“The next thing that’s going to happen is the … different intelligence entities are going to say, ‘You know what, Chairman Schiff, if you don’t believe the information we provide to you … if you have the president of the United States, not just indicted but in jail and you continue to leak like a screen door on a submarine, we’re going to quit giving you information.’”

“That’s when Pelosi will replace Adam Schiff with someone like Jim Himes, who is someone who is a smarter and a lot more reasonable.”

Chair of the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff was just asked to step down this morning from the House Intelligence Committee by Texas Rep. Mike Conway (video below).

In the video below, Schiff gives an angry response to the Republicans. He repeats all of the things he considers to be collusion. The problem is that the Mueller Report came out days ago and the decision was that there was no collusion.

Schiff is still trying to redefine the meaning of collusion to fit his narrative. He also just embarrassed himself in front of millions who look at his rant as delusional.

In a recent interview with Vogue Arabia Democrat Ilhan Omar said living in Trump’s America, “It’s an everyday assault.”

…Omar, 37, is best-known for the enmity she’s stirred up over allegations American lawmakers supportive of Israel have been bought off. In a Vogue Arabia interview, Omar lamented her difficulties with living in America during the Trump era.

“It’s an everyday assault. Every day, a part of your identity is threatened, demonized, and vilified. Trump is tapping into an ugly part of our society and freeing its ugliness. It’s been a challenge to try to figure out how to continue the inclusion; how to show up every day and make sure that people who identify with all the marginalized identities I carry, feel represented,” Omar said.

Ilhan Omar’s family fled sh*thole Somalia when she was 8-years-old. She has been blessed with an unbelievable life in America since she as 12. This is how she feels about her country.

No wonder the Democrats love her so much.





President Trump Intervenes on Behalf of Decorated US Navy SEAL Charged With ‘Premeditated Murder’ of ISIS Terrorist

On Saturday, President Trump intervened on behalf of decorated US Navy SEAL, Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher, who is awaiting trial for ‘premeditated murder’ of an ISIS terrorist.

US Navy prosecutors accused Gallagher of premeditated murder over the stabbing of an injured 15-year-old ISIS terrorist in Mosul, Iraq in May of 2017.

Even worse, Gallagher was arrested on ‘Patriot’s Day,’ September 11th, 2018 — he was shackled and thrown into solitary confinement while remaining shackled for 72 hours, and he’s being held at Miramar Brig in San Diego, California.

The SEAL was also charged with aggravated assault for allegedly shooting Iraqi civilians.

Gallagher has denied the charges and his lawyer is confident his client will be acquitted.

President Trump intervened on Saturday.

“In honor of his past service to our Country, Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher will soon be moved to less restrictive confinement while he awaits his day in court. Process should move quickly!” Trump said in a tweet on Saturday.

Eddie Gallagher has served 19 years in the US Navy, 8 tours, 6 of which as an elite special forces operator — he was ranked as the top SEAL chief and his platoon ranked as the top SEAL platoon.

In other words, Gallagher is one of our fiercest warriors and he is being demonized for killing the enemy.

The Navy SEALs Fund Brotherhood Beyond Battlefield launched a fundraising campaign for Gallagher, calling the charges a “travesty of justice.”

On Patriots Day, September 11th, 2018, Chief Eddie Gallagher, while undergoing TBI treatment was shackled like a common criminal and taken from in-patient care treatment facility at NICoE Pendleton.  Chief Gallagher was held in solitary confinement while remaining shackled for 72 hours and has now been in jail for over a month on pre-trial confinement.

As one decorated, retired Navy SEAL war veteran told us: “I have only heard about such things from my mother and grandmother who survived Nazi occupation in Europe, recounting to me how Hitler’s GESTAPO treated occupied, conquered nations.”

There is no justification for these “GESTAPO” tactics, and the terror unleashed on American children. It was designed to inflict pain, torture and break down the father of this family. Especially, when NCIS “agents” mere hours after the raid on Chief Gallagher’s family explicitly described how they saw his family at his house that day.  They were gloating after keeping him locked in a room for over 7 hours, not allowing him to speak with his lawyers. These actions are torture, mental torture, being perpetrated by the NCIS upon an American war hero and his family.

If convicted, Navy SEAL SOC Eddie Gallagher could face life in prison.

Pope Criticizes Building Walls to Keep People Out —- But The Vatican Is Still Surrounded by Walls

Red Francis once again criticized building walls to keep out migrants.

The pope made the recent comments aboard his papal plane.

Reuters reported:

The pope made his comments to reporters aboard the plane returning from Morocco in response to a question about migration in general and about U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat to shut down the southern border with Mexico.

“Builders of walls, be they made of razor wire or bricks, will end up becoming prisoners of the walls they build,” he said.

Francis, who did not mention Trump in his response, has sparred with the U.S. president before over migration, which was a theme of several questions on the plane as well as during the trip to Morocco.

Trump has declared a national emergency to justify redirecting money earmarked for the military to pay for his promised U.S.-Mexico border wall.

“I realize that with this problem (of migration), a government has a hot potato in its hands, but it must be resolved differently, humanely, not with razor wire,” the Argentine-born pope said on the plane.

This is not the first time Pope Francis has spoken out against walls and fences.

Red Francis told the World Youth Day gathering in 2016 to reject borders and barriers. This comes after several Islamic terrorist attacks by migrants in Europe over the past month.

At least 65 countries have border barriers and border walls.

And the Vatican is surrounded by a protective wall and has been for centuries.

The walls were built for protection and to keep out invaders.





AOC's latest self-own: Expensive airport croissants

In one of the finest self-owns I've seen in a while on the worst website on the Internet, the future of the Democratic Party dropped a galaxy brain take on Twitter today.

Where even to begin? Perhaps with the immorality of her utilitarian equation of economic value and human worth? Or perhaps with the fact that LaGuardia is about to enact a $19 minimum wage that will likely raise the cost of these very croissants even further?

Or better, the fact that every airport in the country still has a McDonald's Dollar Menu if you're willing to trade in French pastries for French fries, like the rest of us twenty-somethings on a budget?

Let's start with the very reason why airports can charge exorbitant prices for garbage food: the very absence of the free market, caused mainly by a captive passenger market and government regulation.

Closed venues will always feature higher prices than open markets. On your way to work, you can choose between Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, or even your local bodega to pick up a cup of coffee for a few dollars. Yet, if you're at a concert venue, a place that you as a consumer have voluntarily chosen, the venue sets the prices because consumer demand is mostly elastic. Sure, you can pick up an 18-pack of Bud Light at a liquor store for less than a buck a beer, but a concert venue knows jacking up the price of a beer from $5 to $8 probably won't dissuade you buying one during a show.

Airports work roughly the same way, but government intervention exacerbates the elasticity issue by imposing a number of barriers to entry for vendors. There's the obvious issue of finding enough staff to fill 18-hour work days, seven days per week willing to spend half an hour just to get from the parking lot to work, but various cities impose arbitrary fines, licensing, and yes, minimum wage requirements that make it next to impossible to break even. They range from the inane (the TSA requires butcher knives in airport kitchens to be tethered and repeatedly subject to inventory) to the outright corrupt. For example, the city of Atlanta had to pay$300,000 to one company alone in 2012 after they were sued for playing politics with issuing an artificially low number of concessions contracts to cronies. The federal government complicates things even further, competing with local governments, with the Department of Transportation offering a leg up to qualifying vendors under the Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program.

Beyond the vendors themselves, local governments can make the raw supplies for airport vendors artificially high with absurd standards. For instance, Atlanta requires food suppliers who deliver to airports to obtain a $2 million insurance policy. Thus, an airport vendor purchasing materials for a croissant with a free-market value of a dollar may be paying double that to offset the costs of their suppliers' insurance.

All of these burdensome regulations means that a beer that costs less than a buck at the supermarket, and $8 at a concert venue can cost well into the double digits at an airport bar. And that's not just vendors being stingy per se. As we've seen above, they have to offset the costs of regulatory burdens from the delivery of raw materials to the price of labor willing to work at an airport.

For what it's worth, I found a deal on Amazon for a dozen croissants for $20.94. I would say that Ocasio-Cortez just learned a valuable lesson on the merits of the free market over oligopolistic ones that devolve into cartels, but she's the one that kicked 25,000 Amazon jobs out of New York in the first place.

Nolte: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Spreads False Claim Constitution Amended to Stop FDR’s Re-Election

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is spreading the conspiracy theory that Republicans amended the Constitution to stop President Franklin Delano Roosevelt from being re-elected.

She gets so much wrong here it’s hard to fathom, but you have to give her credit  — even with that Jerry the Mouse voice she manages to sound authoritative while being so wrong:

According to AOC, Congress amended the Constitution to prevent FDR from being re-elected:

"They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt did not get reelected."

(Reminder, FDR died in office in 1945; the 22nd Amendment came in 1947)

When our [Democrat] party was boldest, the time of the New Deal, the Great Society, the Civil Rights Acts, and so on, we had and carried super majorities in the House, in the Senate; we carried the presidency… They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt did not get re-elected.

First off, she’s conflating two different time periods: the Roosevelt era and Lyndon Johnson era — Roosevelt’s New Deal and Johnson’s Great Society. What’s more, she is insinuating Democrat super majorities are why the Civil Rights Act passed, which is demonstrably false. Although fewer in number, a larger percentage of Republicans than Democrats voted in favor of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964.

Secondly, “they” (i.e. those filthy Republicans) cannot amend the Constitution, only “we” can, and this was especially true during the Roosevelt-Truman era when the Republican Party lived in the wilderness.  A Constitutional Amendment can only be ratified after two-thirds of both houses of the U.S. congress and three quarters of the states approve it. That requires a broad national consensus that stops any “they” from shoving an amendment down our throats.

Ocasio-Crazy’s most shocking ignorance, however, comes from the utterly whacko idea that “they” amended the Constitution to stop FDR from being re-elected.

This is not even up for debate.

The only thing that stopped FDR from being re-elected was his death on April 12, 1945 — and his death occurred during his fourth term as president just a little over a year after this third re-election.

The 22nd Amendment of the Constitution that restricts a president to serving two terms did not go into effect until 1951, five years after Roosevelt’s death.

To further prove this amendment was not retaliatory or partisan, it did not apply to Harry Truman, the man Roosevelt chose to be his vice president in 1944 and who was the sitting president when the amendment was formally ratified.

In other words, the Roosevelt-Truman administration, which began in 1933 with Roosevelt’s first term and ended in 1953 when Truman chose not to run again, could have legally lasted another 20 years, until Truman’s death in 1972.

Now,  during the 1944 presidential campaign, Republican candidates Thomas E. Dewey  and Wendell Willkie did make an issue out of Roosevelt running for a fourth term (Willkie won the nomination and got shellacked by FDR) and even talked about a constitutional amendment. But even if this is what Ocasio-Crazy is referring to, it has nothing to do with amending the Constitution to stop FDR from being re-elected.

Ocasio-Crazy spewed her crazy while appearing on a MSNBC town hall event with Chris Hayes, who did not correct or challenge her.
