California Allows Secession Ballot Initiative To Proceed
... avenues for California to pursue its independence …

Californians may soon get the opportunity to vote to secede from the United States.
The state’s attorney general, Xavier Becerra, issued an official ballot measure title on Tuesday allowing CalExit supporters to start gathering the 585,000 signatures needed to place the matter before California voters in 2018, the Associated Press reported.
“The initiative [titled ‘California Autonomy From Federal Government’] would form a commission to recommend avenues for California to pursue its independence and delete part of the state constitution that says it is an inseparable part of the U.S. The measure would also instruct the governor and California congressional delegation to negotiate more autonomy for the state,” according to the AP.
This is the second attempt to get such an initiative on the 2018 ballot by a group that is known as Yes California or CalExit.
The first effort was withdrawn in April after the group’s founder, Louis Marinelli, emigrated to Russia, which prompted the group’s official spokesman, Marcus Ruiz Evans, to pull the initiative. He promised to resurrect it later, which he now has.
During an interview in January, Evans said Donald Trump’s election has greatly fueled his group’s cause, which dates back over two years.
“If California votes were taken away, Trump won the popular election,” said Evans. “So what kind of people elect a man like that? The answer: not Californians.”
“So we’re basically here to tell people that ‘I know that California officials are telling you that they’re going to protect you, but in fact in federalism, the federal government, overrules state law,” he added. “There is going to be a limit to what they can do.”
Evans told reporters the Supreme Court has already recognized the right of states to secede in Texas v. White (1869), though the justices actually held states do not have the right to secede unilaterally. Other states must accede to the move through the amendment process.
He cited issues such as climate change and illegal immigration as reasons California would be better off as its own master.
Kellyanne Conway: Trump will decide next week if administration will make Obamacare cost-sharing payments

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said Sunday that President Trump would determine next week if the administration will make cost-sharing reduction payments to insurance companies.
The payments, called CSRs, subsidize insurers for reducing co-pays and deductibles for low-income Obamacare customers. The administration's reluctance to say if they're going to make those payments have been blamed by Democrats for causing insurance companies to have less market certainty.
When asked on "Fox News Sunday" if Trump plans on authorizing those payments, Conway said, "He's going to make that decision this week and that's a decision that only he can make."
Trump has threatened to allow Obamacare to collapse and implode after Congress was unable to reach a deal on repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act. However, he's also said on Twitter that he wants the Senate to keep working on healthcare after Republicans were unable to get the votes for a "skinny repeal" bill last week.
Trump isn't willing to move on to other legislative priorities just yet, she said.
"The president will not accept those who said, ‘It's time to move on,'" Conway said.

It is clear the Trump administration isn’t playing around with leakers anymore.
This is coming after Trump’s new Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci, threatened to fire any leakers, stating:
“YOU’RE EITHER GOING TO STOP LEAKING OR YOU’RE GOING TO GET FIRED.”
Ben Rhodes has been accused of being the primary source of leaks causing harm to the Trump administration.
The fake media would like to say the Trump administration is going too far in pursuing leakers.
But leaking classified information is against the law, and it is the obligation of both the White House and Congress to uphold the law.
Some Representatives have gone farther than just targeting those suspected of leaking.
Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) recently called on President Trump to remove all the holdovers from the Obama administration immediately.
It’s not hard to understand why that might be a good idea.
These leaks are making it very difficult for President Trump to effectively conduct foreign policy business.
And none of the leaks have actually revealed anything illegal the Trump administration has done.
To date, the only crime that has been proven in the Russia scandal has been the leaks of classified information.
That is what is hurting our national security, but the fake media won’t even talk about it, and would rather continue to cover the disproven Russia story.
This Obama Scandal Was An Unspeakable Crime Against Trump
There was one big scandal in the 2016 election.And it wasn’t Russia.
Now Americans are learning the Obama administration committed unspeakable crimes against Donald Trump.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes blasted the Obama administration for abuse of power.
Nunes sent a letter to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats describing Obama officials putting in hundreds of requests to unmask American citizens caught up in surveillance.
These requests included Trump transition officials and had no intelligence value.
The Hill reports:
“Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), in a letter to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, said the requests were made without specific justifications on why the information was needed.
“We have found evidence that current and former government officials had easy access to U.S. person information and that it is possible that they used this information to achieve partisan political purposes, including the selective, anonymous leaking of such information,” Nunes wrote in the letter to Coats.
The letter was provided to The Hill from a source in the intelligence community.
In March, Nunes disclosed that he had seen data suggesting Trump campaign and transition officials were having their names unmasked by departing officials in the Obama White House.”
In March, Nunes announced he had reviewed information about the number of unmasking requests and who was making them had greatly disturbed him.
The Hill also reports:
“The chairman had reviewed intelligence reports on White House grounds that he said showed unmasking of Trump officials by Obama aides. Democrats accused him of working with the White House to make the disclosures.
In Thursday’s letter, Nunes said the total requests for Americans’ names by Obama political aides numbered in the hundreds during Obama’s last year in office and often lacked a specific intelligence community justification. He called the lack of proper justifications a “serious deficiency.”
His letter noted requests from senior government officials, unlike career intelligence analysts, “made remarkably few individualized justifications for access” to the U.S. names.
“The committee has learned that one official, whose position had no apparent intelligence related function, made hundreds of unmasking requests during the final year of the Obama administration,” Nunes wrote. “Of those requests, only one offered a justification that was not boilerplate.”
Sources familiar with the Nunes letter identified the official as then-U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power.
Power did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Nunes also wrote that “Obama-era officials sought the identities of Trump transition officials within intelligence reports.”
Americans can be unmasked for legitimate intelligence purposes.
But were Obama officials requesting the unmasking of Trump officials so the names could be leaked for political gossip?
That would be a scandal on par with Watergate.

President Donald Trump made it clear Saturday that he is tired of the Senate putting its traditions ahead of getting things done as he fired off a series of incendiary tweets where he called the 60-vote filibuster rule ” a joke” and said GOP senators “look like fools.”
Trump demanded that senators embrace rule changes that would reduce the power of the party not in power to obstruct the agenda of the party with a majority. Currently, it takes 60 votes to break a filibuster on legislation, which means that unless one party gains more than 60 seats, the minority party can block legislation, such as budget bills.

Budget reconciliation is the manner used in the Senate to try to overhaul Obamacare, but the GOP majority could not even summon enough votes to pass using that method, which would have required a simple majority.

Trump said that Democrats, who have blocked GOP initiatives in the Senate, would change the rules to their advantage if they held power.
If the Senate Democrats ever got the chance, they would switch to a 51 majority vote in first minute. They are laughing at R's. MAKE CHANGE!
“President Trump isn’t playing around anymore. He’s reached his boiling point with establishment Republicans,” wrote Andrew Mark Miller on Young Conservatives. “Just like the rest of us, (Trump) is wildly upset with the GOP for failing to pass any form of repeal of Obamacare.”
Miller said the votes are there, but not the will.
“In order to change the rules of the Senate, a majority of Senators would have to vote in favor. Remember, there are 52 Republicans in Congress’ upper chamber. Should be easy enough if the GOP decides to grow a spine and actually fight back,” he said.
Trump has weighed in on Senate rules before. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has said he has no plans to make any changes in the Senate’s traditions.
“That will not happen,” he said in response to Trump’s calls in May that the Senate shift to simple majority voting instead of its requirement to have a 60-vote majority for most items.
“There is an overwhelming majority on a bipartisan basis not interested in changing the way the Senate operates on the legislative calendar,” McConnell said then.
John McCain Voted Against Bipartisanship, Not for It

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said his vote Friday against “skinny repeal” of Obamacare was a vote for bipartisanship.
In fact, it was the opposite, rewarding Democrats for passing Obamacare without working with Republicans in the first place, allowing them to establish a beachhead for government-run health care, which they will now be able to protect.
Whatever happens going forward, they will regard their initial partisanship as having been worth the effort.
McCain said in a statement after casting the decisive “no” vote in the wee hours of Friday morning: “I’ve stated time and time again that one of the major failures of Obamacare was that it was rammed through Congress by Democrats on a strict-party line basis without a single Republican vote. We should not make the mistakes of the past that has led to Obamacare’s collapse.”
But it is not as if Democrats were excluded from the repeal effort.
Throughout the past seven months, Democrats had every opportunity to propose improvements to Obamacare. They had the same opportunity for the past seven years.
And they refused, because backing Obamacare became a point of pride — not only to defend Barack Obama’s legacy, but to justify their original decision to ram the bill through, bypassing the filibuster rule, gaming the Congressional Budget Office, and losing control of Congress afterwards.
The task of replacing Obamacare could have been bipartisan, but the task of repealing it had to be done by the Republican Party alone.
That is what they promised voters they would do if given control of Congress — McCain, too — and they were never going to have Democrats’ help.
Repeal was to have restored balance to the Senate, so that no party would ever try to repeat what Democrats did. Now Democrats will again, at the first opportunity.

ICE Makes Major Bust In New York

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested 114 illegal immigrants and fugitives in New York during an 11-day operation.
Eighty-two of those arrested in the operation have prior criminal histories, including a Mexican national convicted of first degree manslaughter, an Ecuadorian convicted of rape, and 17 more who have been convicted of driving under the influence.
Approximately another dozen of those arrested have been convicted of drug trafficking offenses while several others were in possession of drugs.
The 114 arrested individuals are from a total of 35 different countries. Ten of those arrested were women.

Top Dem In Hiding As Investigation Heats Up – What Does She Know?
The latest person to fall into this trap is Debbie Wasserman Schultz. She has been reportedly extraordinarily jumpy after her IT tech was arrested trying to flee the country,according to Hannity. The plot is thickening; she appears to be deep in hiding and has not been spotted in days.
She has every right to hide her face in public. A startling amount of information has come out since the arrest of her aide, Imran Awan. First, we learned that Awan and his ENTIRE FAMILY worked for the Democrats for years.
He was shared as an employee among different representatives, which seems to indicate a hidden purpose. Back in March, all other Democrats let the family go. Only Wasserman Schultz kept Imran on her payroll until the day he was arrested.
According to Dennis Michael Lynch, it started when Awan destroyed data and devices stolen from the DNC. Police found smashed routers, laptops, and hard drives at his former home.
He then wired $300,000 to HIMSELF in Pakistan, before attempting to flee with his wife. Between the two of them, they had another $24,000 worth of cash and possessions.
An independent investigation is now planned for Awan and his conduct. Wasserman Schultz fears that this will lead investigators directly back to her. She even threatened a D.C. Police Officer when he refused to return her destroyed laptop.
Wasserman Schultz has something to hide, and the investigation is going to expose it.
There is plenty of evidence that goes against what the mainstream media wants us to believe. Could this be the final nail in the coffin for the Trump-Russia collision story?
Wasserman Schultz has tried to opt out of speaking to people by having her spokesman state, “Mr. Awan previously served as a part-time employee but his services have been terminated.” He continued, “No charges, evidence or findings from the investigation have been formally shared with our office, so we cannot comment on them.”
The statement contains some strange language. For example, “formally shared,” implies that information may have been INFORMALLY shared, and therefore, is not up for discussion.
Awan pleaded not guilty to a charge of bank fraud during his arraignment at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, as reported by The Daily Caller. He was allowed the chance to go back home if he wore a GPS monitor, obeys his curfew, and gives up his passport.
There is something shady going on here. We can’t wait to see what comes from this case, but Wasserman Schultz should be terrified right about now.

This General Made A Bone Chilling Statement About North Korea
The crisis surrounding North Korea’s rogue nuclear program is reaching a boiling point.

Army Chief of Staff General Mark Milley delivered a speech at the National Press Club in Washington.

Tensions with Pyongyang have ratcheted up since the communist nation successfully tested an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
The ICBM stayed in the air for over forty minutes and traveled hundreds of miles.
Experts estimated this weapon is capable of striking targets as far away as Alaska.
The last hurdle North Korea needs to jump is working out how to attach a nuclear warhead to an ICBM.
In his speech, Milley warned that this development means the clock is ticking toward zero hour in dealing with North Korea.

MILLEY SAID HE DID NOT THINK THERE WERE ANY GOOD OPTIONS WHEN CONSIDERING MEASURES TO CONTAIN THE THREAT FROM NORTH KOREA.
“CHOICES WILL HAVE TO BE MADE, ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. NONE OF THESE CHOICES ARE PARTICULARLY PALATABLE, NONE OF THEM ARE GOOD. THE CONSEQUENCES OF DOING NOTHING IS NOT GOOD, THE CONSEQUENCES OF ACCEPTING THEM WITH A NUCLEAR WEAPON THAT CAN STRIKE AT THE UNITED STATES IS NOT GOOD, THE CONSEQUENCES OF ARMED CONFLICT IS NOT GOOD, THE CONSEQUENCES OF A COLLAPSED NORTH KOREA IS NOT GOOD,” HE SAID.
“BUT IT DOES NOT RELIEVE US OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CHOICE. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE CONSCIOUS DECISIONS THAT ARE GOING TO HAVE SIGNIFICANT CONSEQUENCES,” HE ADDED.”
While Donald Trump is working to peacefully resolve the situation, his team is preparing for all options.

General John Kelly Just Sent Trump A Powerful Message
Former Secretary of Homeland Security and Retired Marine General, John Kelly, released a statement after his appointment to White House Chief of Staff.
“I have been fortunate to have served my country for more than 45 years – first as a Marine and then as the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security,” Kelly wrote. “I am honored to be asked to serve as the Chief of Staff to the President of the United States.”
“To the tremendous men and women of DHS, I thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Secretary. When I left the Marines, I never thought I would find as committed, as professional, as patriotic a group of individuals. I was wrong. You accomplish great things everyday defending our nation and I know your exceptional work will continue,” the statement concluded.
In his Friday night announcement, President Trump praised General John Kelly for his tremendous service to the Department of Homeland Security.
“He has been a true star of my Administration,” said President Trump in a tweet. General John Kelly is expected to bring order and discipline to the White House staff.
Former Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, announced his resignation only after President Trump publicly stated on Friday that John Kelly would replace the former RNC Chairman.
Reince Priebus’ departure from the White House came immediately after new Communication Director, Anthony Scaramucci, announced he would fire anyone responsible for illegal leaks.
President Trump has tasked Scaramucci with stemming the tide of illegal leaks. Although Scaramucci does not have the authority to launch an investigation, he promised to fire anyone suspected of betraying President Trump.
In a recent tweet, Scaramucci implied that Reince Priebus was responsible for the illegal leak of his financial disclosure form. The form was leaked to Politico within Scaramucci’s first week in the Trump administration.
Priebus was originally hired as Chief of Staff because of his close relationship with Washington insiders. However, these relationships have proven to be his undoing. Priebus is too close to the GOP establishment to be trusted in the Trump administration.
General John Kelly is a much more trustworthy pick. President Trump has received considerable support from top military officials.
President Trump has earned the trust of the military, and he is hoping for the same trust to be returned in kind by General John Kelly.

San Diego police were informed about Liddy’s illicit activity after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Two Internet service providers informed the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January and February that one of their users was uploading multiple child pornography files.
A task force for the San Diego Internet Crimes Against Children division traced the complaint to the Coronado home of Deputy Attorney General Liddy.
The San Diego police served a warrant to search Liddy’s home and computers. Investigators uncovered multiple pornographic images featuring children on his computer and stored on a thumb drive.
Liddy admitted to two FBI agents that he was a customer of the Internet service provider and that he uses the user names associated with the child pornography.
Liddy explained that he used the user name to download pornography and to engage in sexually explicit conversations online; however, he denied intentionally downloading the child pornography. Instead, he claimed that he accidentally downloaded the images while attempting to obtain legal porn featuring adults.
Liddy has also been accused of uploading at least ten pornographic images of children, as well as storing them on an external thumb drive. Liddy spent a lot of energy sharing and storing child pornography, casting doubt on the Democrat’s excuses.
Liddy has been a state prosecutor since 2008, working for the far-Left California State Department of Justice.
It is disgusting that a man appointed to uphold the law would be engaged in such immoral and devastating crimes. Multiple children were harmed at the hand of this so-called lawyer.
Loretta Lynch And James Comey Just Got Career Ending News
The media and Deep State have used investigations into Russia to destroy Trump’s Presidency.But that’s all changed.
And now it’s Loretta Lynch and James Comey on the hot seat.
Months of Congressional inquiries into the Trump-Russia connection have yielded no evidence on collusion.
The “scandal” is all fake news pushed by Trump’s enemies in effort to generate a scandal that will overturn the results of the 2016 election.
Now some Republicans are fed up with Congress being used as a club to beat up the Trump administration.
The House Judiciary Committee voted to launch an investigation into former FBI Director James Comey for leaking memos of conversations he had with the President, and into Loretta Lynch’s conduct in the Clinton email investigation.

“The House Judiciary Committee has officially approved an effort to launch an investigation into former FBI director James Comey’s leaking activities and apparent mishandling of a federal investigation by former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
The new investigative effort, authorized by the passage of the amendment in the Judiciary Committee, 16-13 along partisan lines, digs deep requesting documents and information related to Comey’s leaks of conversations he had with President Donald Trump before Trump fired him. According to the Washington Post, Democrats on the committee were infuriated Republicans pressed forward with the probe.
“This is the most astonishing moment I’ve ever experienced in the Judiciary Committee,” one Democrat, Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN), said. “To take a question about the firing of James B. Comey and turn it into a question about Hillary Clinton? The chairman has left the room. Justice has left this room. Common sense has left this room. A lot of stuff has left this room, and maybe never entered it.”
The amendment was offered by Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Jim Jordan (R-OH), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), and Mike Johnson (R-LA). It passed Wednesday evening, authorizing the opening of the Judiciary Committee probe. It remains to be seen if subjects of the investigation will cooperate, and if they do not cooperate it remains to be seen if the Committee will use its broad subpoena power to compel document production and testimony.”
Republicans were outraged when Comey revealed that he leaked memos of his conversations with Trump to an associate so they would end up in the press to force the appointment a special counsel.
And that is exactly what happened.
Comey wanted revenge for Trump firing him and now special counsel Robert Mueller’s out-of-control probe is a cocked pistol pointed at the White House.
In addition, the amendment calls for an investigation into Comey’s knowledge of Fusion GPS, the Democrat and Kremlin-connected opposition research firm that commissioned the discredited Christopher Steele dossier, which was used to kick off the collusion investigation.
But that’s not all.
The amendment also states that Congress will investigate Loretta Lynch’s tarmac meeting with former President Bill Clinton as well as her conduct during the Clinton email investigation.
After Comey testified that Lynch ordered him to refer to the Clinton email investigation as a “matter” – which was language that synced up perfectly with Clinton campaign talking points – Comey became alarmed.
While Congress has so far accomplished nothing other than gumming up the works of the Trump administration while chasing down fake news Russia stories, the real crimes – Comey’s alleged illegal leaks and Lynch’s alleged obstruction of justice – have so far escaped scrutiny.
A group of Republicans in the House took the first step toward achieving justice for the real crimes.
