BREAKING: Pelosi And Paul Ryan Join

With President Trump set to announce a decision on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program — otherwise known as Obama’s executive amnesty program — lawmakers are looking to defend the initiative.
According to Politico, House Minority Leader (D-CA) asked Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) for a meeting to discuss the controversial program. Ryan has previously stated that he does not believe DACA should be ended, despite once saying he believed it was unconstitutional. This teaming up shows just how out-of-touch and hypocritical Ryan has become.
On Friday, Pelosi sent a letter to the Speaker requesting to meet with Republican leaders to help ensure that the children of undocumented immigrants would not be removed from DACA’s protection. In an interview with a WCLO, a local Wisconsin radio station, Ryan indicated that President Donald Trump should not end the program because of the potential consequences to the children of immigrants who entered the country illegally.
Pelosi stated that she was “heartened” by Ryan’s stance on the issue, believing that it could lead to a reasonable compromise. She did not say what type of agreement would be appropriate.
She writes, “That is why I am writing to ask you to meet with members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and other House Democratic leaders as soon as we return next week to discuss a comprehensive legislative solution for our country’s DREAMers.”
Pelosi also argued, “Deporting patriotic, courageous young men and women who are American in every way would be disastrous for our communities, our economy and our nation.” Politico states that Democratic lawmakers want to preserve DACA and provide a path to citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants.
President Trump has been under pressure from Republican lawmakers and state leadership. Ten states have threatened to bring legal action against DACA if the president fails to decide by September 5. On Tuesday, President Trump is expected to make his decision regarding the program.
During his presidential campaign, Trump vowed that he would end DACA.
Since taking office, he has appeared to reconsider this decision, acknowledging that it wasn’t as cut-and-dry as he initially thought. In a February press conference, Trump described the difficulty in making a decision. “To me, it’s one of the most difficult subjects I have because you have these incredible kids — in many cases, not in all cases,” he said. “But you have some absolutely incredible kids — I would say mostly — they were brought here in such a way. It’s a very, very tough subject.”
Ryan told WCLO that he believes that decisions regarding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program should be made through legislation:
“These are kids who know no other country, who were brought here by their parents and don’t know another home. And so I really do believe there that there needs to be a legislative solution.”
Politico indicates that some GOP lawmakers are also concerned about ending the program. They believe that putting a stop to DACA could harm negotiations with the Democrats related to funding the government and raising the debt ceiling. These are two critical issues that Congress must address in September.
Pelosi and Ryan might collaborate to keep DACA. Should Trump end this unconstitutional program now?
Former President Barack Obama implemented the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program in 2012. His decision was widely criticized because it is unconstitutional — the president does not have the authority to write law. Any decision regarding the children of illegal immigrants is supposed to be made through the legislative process — which might be another reason why Ryan wants Trump to let Congress address the issue.
DACA has been a contentious issue since Obama introduced in 2012.
While many believe that the United States must enforce its borders, others argue that the children of illegal immigrants should not be subject to deportation because they were unable to choose whether or not they should enter the country illegally. Illegal immigration has been a key issue during the campaign and after Trump took office. His decision regarding DACA will serve as an indicator on how Trump plans to shape his immigration policy.
Dr. Sebastian Gorka: Trump Policies Aim to Follow the Law

The theme of President Donald Trump's policies — including illegal immigration and the DACA program — is following the law, Dr. Sebastian Gorka told Newsmax TV.
During an appearance on "America Talks Live," Gorka told host Miranda Khan that Trump is thinking about one thing.
"Very few people understand what undergoes the Trump administration's and the Trump campaign's policies, whether it's on trade, immigration, ISIS, you name it," said Gorka, who resigned last week as a deputy adviser to the president. "The thing that undergoes all of them is sovereignty and rule of law.
"The idea that there are people like me, who have to wait in line for several years to become legal immigrants to the United States, and there are some that simply can flout the laws and be given amnesty as they were under the last administration. That is wrong.
"We are a nation of laws. We are a nation of rule of law and as such, and nobody gets a break and as a result, DACA is important, and I do hope the president makes the right decision."

When asked if he believes Trump will end DACA, otherwise known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, Gorka was blunt.
"My expectation is given everything he's done in the last seven months he will end it," he said.
Gorka was also asked about the growing crisis on the Korean Peninsula. North Korea continues to test both its ICBM and nuclear programs. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley said Monday the reclusive nation is "begging for war" as it continues to ignore strong warnings from the international community.
"The president has been very clear, no options are off the table," Gorka said. "The ball was in [North Korean leader Kim] Jong Un's court. They refused to de escalate, and that is bad news for the region."

As we celebrate Labor Day, we are reminded of the inherent dignity of work and the American worker. In America, we honor grit. We honor determination. We honor craftsmanship. And we honor the men and women who turn dreams into reality with their own two hands.
Earlier this year, I traveled to Wisconsin to sign the Buy American and Hire American executive order. With that action, we sent a powerful signal to the world that we are going to defend our workers, protect our jobs and put America first.
Today, the hopes and dreams of American workers and their families remain a top priority for my administration. That is why we are launching efforts to reduce the crushing tax burden that is harming our companies and our workers.
Our self-destructive tax code costs Americans millions of jobs, trillions of dollars and billions of hours spent on compliance and paperwork.
To fix this, we have made the foundation of our job creation agenda fundamentally reforming our tax code for the first time in more than 30 years. I want to work with Congress on a plan that is pro-growth, pro-jobs, pro-worker and pro-American.
Our plan will dramatically reduce income taxes for American workers and families. It will nearly double the standard deduction to help families get ahead. It will make our complex tax code more simple and fair. It will put money back into the pockets of the people who earned it. And it will bring back American jobs by making our businesses competitive once again.
In 1986, President Ronald Reagan led the effort to make America the most competitive nation in the world by cutting our business tax rate to 34%, well below the average rate of other developed nations at the time. It worked. Our economy boomed, the middle class thrived and median family income increased.
But our economic competitors did not sit still. They saw what we did and started lowering their business tax rates, too. Over the past 30 years, the average business tax rate among developed nations in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) fell from 45% to less than 24%.
Instead of remaining competitive over the same period, we actually raised our rate to 35%. When combined with state and local taxes, American businesses today are effectively taxed at 39%.
We have gone from a business tax rate that is lower than our economic competitors to one that is more than 60% higher.
The United States is now behind nations such as France, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Mexico and South Korea. We are dead last.
In response to this lack of competitiveness, large corporations have changed their business models to export jobs to other countries and then ship their goods back to the United States. Other businesses — even classic American brands — have been acquired by foreign competitors or have moved their headquarters overseas.
This has been a disaster for American workers. We know that when a business shuts down, or a factory packs up and leaves the United States for another country, the cost is measured not merely in lost jobs. It is measured in diminished confidence and lost hope.
We owe it to the American people to fix this broken system. American businesses want to prosper on our shores, and middle-class families are ready for more growth, more jobs and higher pay.
That’s why my administration is embracing a new economic model: the American model. Under this system, we will encourage companies to hire and grow in America, to raise wages for American workers and to help rebuild our American cities and communities. Americans will succeed and grow together — as one team, with one shared sense of purpose, and one glorious American destiny.
It is now time for all members of Congress — Democrat, Republican and Independent — to support pro-American tax reform. It’s time for Congress to provide a level playing field for our workers, to bring American companies back home, to attract new companies and businesses to our country, and to put more money into the pockets of everyday hardworking people.
If we do this — if we unite in the name of common sense — then we will add millions of jobs, funnel hundreds of billions of dollars into our economy and give America the competitive advantage we so desperately need.
Instead of exporting our jobs, we will export our goods, and lift millions of struggling citizens from welfare to work.
We will unleash America’s full potential. And in doing so, we will truly make America great again.

The relationship between President Trump and Russia is tenuous at best. The main reason is because of the clamoring on the Left insisting there was some sort of collusion that helped Trump get elected — despite the lack of evidence.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov revealed Friday that there are no hard feelings between the Russians and President Trump. In fact, Lavrov went on to explain that the tension between the US and Russia is mainly caused by “forces that simply want to undermine the administration,” and caused by former President Barack Obama, according to The Washington Examiner.
Some of the outside forces that Lavrov was referring to include Congress, who passed a sanctions bill. Tass, a local Russian paper, states that Lavrov believes that passing that bill was aimed “more at Trump than Russia.”
The Foreign Minister went on to explain that he thinks that President Trump ultimately wants to see relationships improve between the US and Russia. Then he noted who he thinks really corrupted the relationship between the two countries.
Lavrov stated, “I would like to point out it was not us who initiated this exchange of sanctions, but the Obama administration.” There is a valid point in this statement, and something the Left seems to often forget.
He said that Obama essentially started this verbal battle between the two. Obama did, in fact, sanction Moscow before leaving office. Some people would say he was setting up President Trump for failure, though Trump has thrived in this environment.
The interview that Tass had with the Foreign Minister also revealed that he did not appreciate the way Obama pressed the idea of American exceptionalism. It was not seen as a good trait and was viewed as a form of arrogance by the Russian people.
It is almost as if this was a way to make President Trump look bad when he came into office. Some argue that perhaps without Obama putting on the clandestine pressure towards the end, the Trump-Russia story would have never come to light.
Lavrov pointed out, “[W]e see some frenzy about ‘exceptionalism’ which US President Barack Obama constantly referred to, arrogantly pointing to the place, which, in his view, all other countries should take.”
Obama did try to move America’s way of life to other countries, and it is easy to see how that could be interpreted as being insulting. Especially if the country in question is moderately successful and set in their ways.
During the 2016 General Election, then-candidate Trump said he would like to find ways to work with Vladimir Putin on the common concerns between the two countries. Do you think Barack Obama attempted to sabotage the relationship between the US and Russia before leaving office?

Houston native J.C. Spencer, 78, who realized his home was going to be submerged by Hurricane Harvey, decided he would appeal to the good folks at his local Chick-fil-A, where he and his wife regularly eat, to help rescue him and his wife Karen with an usual order.
Two grilled chicken burritos, with extra egg, and a boat.
The manager there called her husband, who has a boat. When the boat showed up, it only had room for some of the Spencers’ possessions. Karen said, "The boat couldn't get into the house and there were these two wonderful men who came up on the Jet Ski."
After the two Jet Skis arrived, J.C. climbed aboard one, his wife got in the other, and off they went, with their possessions in the boat from Chick-fil-A.
Karen Spencer said she had various thoughts: "oh well, here we go!," "happy to be alive" and "I can't believe I'm leaving my flooded house in a Jet Ski."
The Spencers later met their Jet-Ski heroes: Keith Christensen and Winston Savice, Jr. J.C. told Savice, "Thank you. You're a hero," as they hugged. Savice replied, "No problem, someone had to do it. I'm glad to see you guys are safe."
J.C. later returned to his home to retrieve his wallet and wedding ring, quipping, "I couldn't save my house but I have to save my marriage.”

The Pope often times strays into the territory of political activist.

He continued a pattern of leftist political rants when he tried to link Hurricane Harvey to the fight over so called “climate change.”

There is no evidence linking Hurricane Harvey to “climate change.”
That’s fake news.
But Francis wasn’t the only leftist to try and exploit the tragedy to advance the leftist agenda.
Kellyanne Conway shut down CNN’s Chris Cuomo when he tried to bring global warming into the discussion.
The Daily Caller reports:
“KELLYANNE CONWAY TOOK CNN’S CHRIS CUOMO TO TASK FOR TRYING TO SHIFT THE HURRICANE HARVEY CONVERSATION TO CLIMATE CHANGE DURING A WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTERVIEW.
“ONE OF THE THEMES THAT’S COMING OUT OF THIS…IS OPENING UP A DISCUSSION ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE,” CUOMO SAID. “IS THE PRESIDENT, IS THE ADMINISTRATION, OPEN TO THAT CONVERSATION?”
CONWAY BROUGHT A HIGH LEVEL OF SASSINESS TO THE CONVERSATION, TELLING CUOMO, “CHRIS, WE’RE LITERALLY TRYING TO HELP THE PEOPLE WHOSE LIVES ARE UNDERWATER AND YOU WANT TO HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE.”
CUOMO ARGUED THAT EXAMINING THE ROLE OF CLIMATE CHANGE COULD REDUCE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE AFFECTED BY STORMS, TO WHICH CONWAY SNARKED, “ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO PLAY CLIMATOLOGIST?”
Liberals aren’t interested in science.
Francis and Cuomo pounced on Hurricane Harvey to push the global warming agenda because liberalism is based on emotion.
And the left believes they can use the natural emotions of Americans wanting to help those in need by “doing something” in a time of crisis to enact their job-killing, freedom stealing, global warming agenda.
It’s similar to how the gun grabbers wait for a tragedy so they can exploit dead bodies as emotional blackmail to enact gun control.
Big Abortion Strikes Out In Street Protests Against Pregnancy Help Centers
Seeking to ‘expose’ pregnancy centers that offer women the help they need during an unexpected pregnancy, all Lady Parts Justice League exposed was its own ignorance of the facts.
For all the bluster about “choice,” “access,” and “reproductive health,” the abortion industry and its assorted fans in Hollywood, politics, and the media have a remarkable tendency to swing for the fences and come up empty. That fact is becoming clearer to see every day.Take, for instance, the recently failed “Expose Fake Clinics” campaign, starring Comedy Central and leftist icon Lizz Winstead and her abortion-extremist group, “Lady Parts Justice League.” Seeking to “expose” pregnancy centers that offer women the help they need to make an informed choice during an unexpected pregnancy, all Lady Parts Justice League exposed was its own ignorance of the facts.
That and the Left’s steely opposition to anything that could possibly dent abortion’s cultural and financial stronghold. Cash flow and cultural currency—not “choice,” “access” or “reproductive health”—are at stake, and abortion profiteers know it.
The Left’s Science Deniers
Perhaps that’s why, in addition to organizing a spate of protests at life-affirming pregnancy centers this summer, abortion absolutists have upped the ante (or is it “anti”?) in their fight against “Abortion Pill Reversal (APR),” a medical intervention that can halt a chemical abortion after a woman has taken the first of two pills involved in the RU-486 regimen.
Even though the APR network now includes more than 350 physicians who credit it with having saved the lives of 300 babies in the past 10 years, pro-abortion outlets like Rewire.com and DAME magazine, as well as mainstream outlets like The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times, continue to refer to it as “junk science.”
While the research on APR is still in its initial stages—APR researchers expect to release a major paper in the coming months—the abortion lobby’s knee-jerk resistance to the process says plenty about where “reproductive health” and “choice” rank on their hierarchy of values. Actually, the abortion industry’s decision to couch its lethal agenda as “reproductive health” breaks down far more easily than that: “Abortion is neither ‘reproductive’ nor ‘healthy.’” Discuss.
Where Abortion and Access Collide
Meanwhile, when they’re not busy smearing the pro-life movement as closet racists or rapists, abortion-mongers like those at NARAL Pro-Choice America—an ironic name if ever there was one—are doing everything in their power to keep women headed for abortuaries from even interacting with a pro-lifer on the street.
In Chicago, pro-life advocates are continuing to fight for the right to speak with women outside of abortion mills, a fight that has gone on since 2009. Under a current city ordinance known as a “bubble zone,” no pro-life citizen can come within eight feet of any woman heading to an abortion clinic once she comes within 50 feet of the front door.
The ordinance, introduced under the “pro-choice” guise, effectively strips a woman of choice by trampling on her right to make the most informed decision possible about her own pregnancy. This strikes at the very heart of the “choice” and “access” abortion devotees claim to hold so dear.
In an August 21 donor appeal, NARAL president Ilyse Hogue bemoaned the fact that Kentucky’s last remaining abortion mill, EMW Women’s Surgical Center in Louisville, may be on its way out of business. Painting a rather drastic picture of a “mob of dozens of anti-choice fanatics trying to block the entrance” to the abortion business, Hogue later bewailed the fact that women could access a pro-life pregnancy center right next door instead of ending their children’s lives through abortion at EMW Women’s Surgical Center.
In the fantasy world Hogue portrays, where peaceful protests and sidewalk counseling are depicted as a bread riot in the Soviet Union, reality holds no value. Neither do “choice” or “access”—to anything other than abortion, that is.
Pro-Choice? Not So Much
Because they couldn’t find anything productive to do with 10 days out of their summer, Winstead and Co. scoured the country to dig up as much dirt as they could on life-affirming pregnancy centers, which serve women with free ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, post-abortive counseling, peer counseling, parenting classes, and material aid like diapers and car seats.
What we might call the “anti-anti-choice” crusade targeted locally funded pregnancy help centers and ultrasound-equipped medical clinics across the country with online and on-site demonstrations, all focused on demonizing anyone with the gumption to offer an alternative to abortion. Although the campaign—which one Cincinnati pregnancy center director called “underwhelming” after a handful of abortion fans picketed her center—identified more than 4,000 centers on their hit list, only 40 locations were actually subjected to any sort of pro-abortion presence as part of the effort.
The crusade was doomed from the start. At its initial rally, a man and his toddler walked up on Lady Parts Justice League’s protest outside the very place where his son’s life had been rescued from abortion. Confronting Winstead’s un-funny fiction, the man insisted that pro-abortion protesters look at his toddler and reckon with the fact that he was standing there because of the center’s work.
He wasn’t the only former pregnancy center client to speak up on behalf of the ministries under fire from “Expose Fake Clinics.” One mother, who chose life with the help of a Minnesota pregnancy center, actually thought the whole campaign was a joke before realizing that Winstead and her troupe actually meant business.
Running on Fumes
Another telling moment came as the campaign made a stop in Columbus, Ohio, at a pregnancy help clinic serving women just across a side street from a Planned Parenthood that aborts babies in a minority-heavy, low-income area. When one pro-lifer, a pastor in Columbus, approached protesters and calmly asked why they were there and what they were hoping to accomplish, he met the same deluge of accusations against pregnancy centers that have poured forth from pro-abortion groups like NARAL for the past decade.
Rather than argue point-for-point, his response cut right to the heart of the issue. Far better to be accused of dishonesty than to be unashamedly committed to monetized killing.
“On one hand, you have someone supposedly lying and one hand you have someone killing,” he said. “If I had to [pick between] the two, I’d go with the lying.”
Winstead’s campaign was followed by another planned protest at a pregnancy center, this time in Atlanta, where 150 abortion absolutists showed up August 12 to register their disdain for Cura Women’s Health Clinic, an ultrasound-equipped medical clinic that has saved 180 babies from abortion thus far in 2017.
Although 150 protesters may sound like quite the crowd, it’s really not all that impressive when you realize its organizers—including Lady Parts Justice League, Reproaction, and SisterSong—were pulling from a Google and Facebook-backed “Netroots Nation” conference that gathered 3,000 leftists at a downtown hotel less than a mile away from the pregnancy center.
Coming just minutes after Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren urged the same crowd to stand unapologetically for abortion, the paltry Atlanta protest may be the best indicator yet of just how much ground abortion fanatics like Warren are losing even among their own constituency. The old euphemisms just aren’t holding up, and there’s no candid way to defend an idea as ugly as abortion.
