Gutierrez Unhinged After DACA Repeal: WH Chief Kelly ‘Disgrace to Uniform,’ Trump Endorsing ‘White Supremacy’

by TONY LEE

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), one of the most vocal pro-amnesty voices in Congress, claimed on Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s administration is essentially endorsing “white supremacy” by winding down former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) executive amnesty.

He also blasted White House Chief of Staff John Kelly as a “hypocrite who is a disgrace to the uniform he used to wear” who “should be drummed out of the White House along with the white supremacists.”
“This Administration is on a very dangerous trajectory towards the full-throated endorsement of white supremacy—the likes of which we haven’t seen in the open from a sitting President for a century,” Gutierrez said in his typically understated manner.
Gutierrez blasted Trump for pardoning former Maricopa Sheriff Joe Arpaio, praising “those who marched at the University of Virginia with torches shouting ‘Jews will not replace us,’” and launching his campaign for the White House by taking a strong stance against illegal immigrant criminals from Mexico.
“But this action on DACA to pull the rug out from under almost 800,000 documented immigrants who have lived here for at least ten years and cast them back into the shadows is the ugliest act of appeasement for the far-right’s white-supremacist goals of them all, so far,” Gutierrez said.
He also ripped Kelly, whom he accused of lying “straight to the faces of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus about preventing the mass deportation” of DACA recipients while he was the head of Homeland Security, for “executing the plan to take away their lifeline and taking steps to criminalize young people who live and work here legally.”
“General Kelly is a hypocrite who is a disgrace to the uniform he used to wear,” Gutierrez said. “He has no honor and should be drummed out of the White House along with the white supremacists and those enabling the President’s actions by ‘just following orders.’”
Gutierrez said “America is a better country than its President” and claimed Trump was winding down DACA, which Gutierrez believes is a “smashing success,” “purely out of spite and incompetence.”
“It just takes the country in the wrong direction and will be devastating to individual immigrants and families,” Gutierrez said. “The disruption, chaos and fear that this action precipitates will also strain state and local governments, educators, and employers. DACA is a program that has been a smashing success, yet the President, purely out of spite and incompetence is smashing DACA.”
On Monday, Gutierrez vowed to fight Trump in the courts and “in the streets” to protect DACA recipients from deportation.
“Yes, we will be on the streets fighting. Yes, we will go to the courts to fight, and we will also insist that our friends and our allies in the Congress of the United States don’t sign a budget, don’t support a budget, don’t collaborate with Republicans and give us a budget unless there is a safe place legislatively, an avenue legislatively, that secures the future for the 800,000 DACA recipients,” he said. “Let’s be clear. We are going to fight in the courts, we are going to fight in the streets, but also we are going to fight in the Congress of the United States to make sure legislatively we have a solution.”

GOP Challenger: Nevada’s Heller ‘Panders’ to ‘Whatever Group He’s Talking To’

Tarkanian says incumbent senator 'starts talking conservative values again' only when it's reelection time

U.S. Senate candidate Danny Tarkanian (R) blasted incumbent Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.) for “pandering” to “whatever group he’s talking to” at the moment, during an interview Wednesday on “The Laura Ingraham Show.”

Tarkanian, a five-time candidate for higher office and the son of basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian, roasted Heller for changing his position on various hot-button topics, including the repeal and replace of Obamacare and amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Early Poll Shows Heller Behind in Nevada Senate Race

"The thing with Dean Heller is that whatever group he’s talking to, he panders to them and he says he’s going to support those positions," Tarkanian said. "But every time he gets back to running for reelection in a Republican primary, he starts talking conservative values again. But he’s on the record of flip-flopping every time he goes somewhere else."

Heller is one of the Senate's three most vulnerable Republicans up for reelection in 2018.

Tarkanian noted that Heller, who first ran for reelection in 2012, claimed that he supported strict immigration enforcement measures that would crack down on illegal border crossings. But Nevada's Hispanic population makes up more than 20 percent of the state's population, and Heller has caved on immigration issues repeatedly, Tarkanian said.

"[Heller] was one of those warriors out there. And then as soon as he got in there, he joined the Gang of Eight who wanted to give citizenship to all illegal immigrants," Tarkanian said.

And on Tuesday, Heller voiced his support for the so-called DREAMers who enrolled in the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Trump announced his decision to end the program with a six-month delay Tuesday, allowing Congress time to act.

"While I remain concerned about the way in which DACA came to life, I've made clear that I support the program because hard working individuals who came to this country through no fault of their own as children should not be immediately shown the door," Heller told the Reno Gazette-Journal in a statement.

"Just as I have in the past, I'll continue to work with my colleagues to reform our broken immigration system and that must start with securing our borders; however, we cannot lose sight of the fact that our country has a long history of welcoming immigrants and our communities in Nevada are stronger because of it," Heller added.

In addition to flip-flopping on immigration, Tarkanian accused Heller of reneging on his promises to vote in support of a clean repeal and replace of Obamacare.

"[Heller] said he was going to vote to repeal Obamacare when he was running for reelection, and then as soon as he had a chance to repeal it, he not only voted against the repeal of Obamacare but he had a grandstanding press conference that drew attention to the Senate plan and really took any momentum the Senate had of getting that bill passed," Tarkanian said.

Although Trump lost Nevada on Election Day by just over two percentage points, Tarkanian noted that Trump "outperformed what everybody thought he would do in Nevada, and he did that with every single elected official saying ... they wouldn’t vote for him."

Heller, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval (R) and former Rep. Joe Heck (R-Nev.) — who ran for the Senate but lost in 2016 — all voiced their opposition against their Party's presidential nominee.

But Tarkanian argued that Trump resonated with Nevadans in a way that will endanger Heller's 2018 reelection campaign.

"What [Trump] did was, he read the data to the hardworking middle class Americans with his American first policies about going back and giving back to the people of America who made us so great opportunities to achieve the American dream again. And that’s the thing that we need to talk about as Republicans," Tarkanian said. "And again, he loses by two percent with the top people in the [Nevada] GOP saying they won’t vote for him."

"And I’ll tell you, the mainstream media there — it’s really a left-leaning media — they were demonizing anybody who supported Trump. They tried to pressure every person to repudiate him. And most of them did," Tarkanian added. "That’s the leadership that we have in our state right now. But it’s not going to be there much longer."

Patriots owner Robert Kraft touches down in Jerusalem, where he's bringing football to the Middle East

Robert Kraft had two unforgettable comebacks this year.
The first came in Super Bowl LI, when his New England Patriots overcame a 28-3 deficit in the second half to beat the Atlanta Falcons in overtime.
And the second comeback was Kraft’s return in June to Israel, his second home, with a delegation of 18 Hall of Fame players whom he hosted, among them Jim Brown, Joe Montana and Roger Staubach.
Kraft, who is Jewish, has been heavily invested in Israel, both financially and emotionally, and is close friends with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He’s also essentially an ambassador of football in the region, and opened the Kraft Family Sports Campus in Jerusalem. That 25-acre, multi-sports venue — which includes the first three regulation-sized football fields in the Middle East — is reflective of his commitment to grow the game in the region.
“My life is about trying to, at this point, only do things I love and I’m passionate about, and be with people I love and feel connected to,” said Kraft, 76, who was joined at the ribbon-cutting ceremony by three of his four sons and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
“I first came to Israel 54 years ago — even though I think I’m 35,” Kraft said. “It was on my honeymoon. Someone had given us a present. We came here, and it was just an amazing experience for me. I love America, and I’m so lucky to have been born there and be a U.S. citizen, but when I came here I also learned that this place was so special.”
Other “Gold Jackets” making the trip were Hall of Famers Lem Barney, Jerome Bettis, Cris Carter, Dave Casper, Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, Mean Joe Greene, Willie Lanier, Andre Reed, Mike Singletary, Bruce Smith, John Stallworth, Andre Tippett, Aeneas Williams, and Ron Yary. Players were joined on the weeklong trip by their significant others.
“I tell people, ‘You don’t have to be Jewish to go to Israel,’ ” Tippett said. “Jerusalem represents so many other religions, and there are so many things there to see, it covers the whole spectrum.”

The players prayed at the Western Wall, many were baptized in the Jordan River, floated in the Dead Sea, toured the Yad Vashem world Holocaust remembrance center, and had a private meeting with Netanyahu. They also met and posed for pictures with American Football in Israel players at Ramat HaSharon stadium in Tel Aviv, and signed autographs for at least 1,000 fans at the Kraft Family Stadium in Jerusalem.
Kraft got a hero’s welcome from those Israeli players and fans at the football events.
“This is Robert Kraft leaving a legacy for his family,” Bettis said. “All the success that he’s had, he’s able to translate that here in Jerusalem, the land of his forefathers. And to be able to leave such an incredible gift for the people of Jerusalem is tremendous.”
The way Kraft sees it, he too has reaped the benefits of his financial and emotional investments.
“My late, darling wife, Myra, always used to tell me that until I start building football in Israel, I would not win anything with Patriots,” he said. “That happened in late 1999, and we won our first Super Bowl in 2001. Now we have five championships, and I can’t ignore the connection between our continuing to support development in Israel and our great accomplishments.”
By every measure, football has gained popularity in Israel in recent years, and Kraft has played a huge role in that.
“What Robert Kraft has been doing here in the last few years has brought a bigger awareness to the country,” Montana said. “With the players he’s brought, the complex that he’s built, once you start planting roots, the game just kind of grows on you. Soccer is wildly crazy around the globe. People have an obsessed attitude about it. But once you start learning our sport, you’ll see a lot more of that.”
That’s not to say everyone is entirely up to speed on the history of the NFL in a country that’s beginning to embrace the game. For instance, while in Tel Aviv, Montana and Staubach were in a crowded hotel elevator together, riding up to their rooms. It stopped at Montana’s floor and he got off.
“Did you see who that was?” an excited guest said. “That was one of the greatest quarterbacks in history! That was Joe Montana.”
“Really?” Staubach said with a smile. “Who’d he play for?”
“San Francisco!” the man said.
The elevator continued up, and the guest glanced down at the name tag at the end of Staubach’s lanyard.
“Hey, wait a second,” the man said. “I know you. … You’re that guy who has the real estate company.”

As Trump Kills DACA, Bannon’s Breitbart Celebrates A Major Policy Win

DACA was just one battle in the website’s fight for control of the Republican Party.

WASHINGTON ― Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is still notching policy wins after his return to the right-wing website Breitbart. President Donald Trump’s decision to end Obama-era protections for undocumented immigrants brought as children to the U.S. by their parents is a major victory for Bannon and Breitbart — and they know it.
As Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced plans Tuesday to terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program with a six-month delay on enforcement, Breitbart’s chief White House correspondent celebrated:
Charlie Spiering
@charliespiering
🔥Sessions 🔥going full Breitbart with this announcement

11:05 AM - Sep 5, 2017

“This is a huge step in the right direction for the Trump administration, and for Breitbart as we cover the stories that most of the rest of the media ignore on immigration like crimes committed by illegal aliens including so-called Dreamers, the economic and cultural effects on American workers of large scale legal and illegal immigration, and the forgotten man and woman President Trump honed in on during the 2016 race and in his inauguration speech,” a senior Breitbart editor who was not authorized to speak on the record told HuffPost.
Breitbart was a primary source of the push to repeal DACA, which covers approximately 800,000 people. The site has sometimes published multiple stories per day promoting repeal and praising DACA opponents, while attacking Democrats and Republicans who support the program. At one point on Tuesday, nine of the site’s 10 most popular stories were about Trump’s DACA repeal (or, in one case, about Hillary Clinton’s DACA support). It’s no surprise that Breitbart sees a victory here: The site has served for years as the most prominent platform for anti-immigration organizations and politicians to promote their views.
Start 👏 serving 👏 citizens 👏 with 👏 this 👏 same 👏urgency 👏 http://trib.al/8i5Pica

7:04 PM - Sep 4, 2017Breitbart’s celebration also shows that the right-wing populist movement Bannon represents is still influential in the administration, even after Bannon’s departure. Strong supporters of these policies remain in power: Sessions, who Bannon convinced to endorse Trump in 2016, remains in charge of the Justice Department. Stephen Miller, a former Sessions aide, is the president’s top domestic policy adviser. And former Breitbart writer Julia Hahn remains in the White House working on policy with Miller. Bannon can now provide them support from his perch at Breitbart.
Trump’s decision on DACA could result in a congressional push to pass legislation reinstating the program. But Breitbart is already planning to work to defeat any such legislative action, should it arise.
“Over the next six months as Congress considers whether to legislatively grant amnesty to the 800,000 plus illegal aliens that Obama illegally granted DACA executive amnesty to, we will be vigilant in how we cover and expose any career politicians who run counter to the will of the American voting public and the citizens of this country who very clearly stated in November 2016 that amnesty in any form is not acceptable public policy,” the senior Breitbart editor told HuffPost.
The idea of a fight against congressional Republicans who favor immigration reforms that would legalize undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. dovetails with Breitbart’s larger political mission of remaking the Republican Party. The news organization, particularly under Bannon, is openly hostile to both House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
In 2013, Bannon, Sessions and Miller, then a staffer for Sessions, successfully joined forces to beat a bipartisan immigration reform bill. Bannon and Miller teamed up again in 2014 to orchestrate the shock defeat of then-House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.). Cantor’s support for immigration reform, and the backing he received from Wall Street donors who supported the policy, were the main issues that brought him down.
Breitbart now backs former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore in the special Republican Senate primary runoff election against Sen. Luther Strange (R-Ala.), who was appointed to fill the seat Sessions left when he became attorney general. This position puts the site at odds with Bannon’s former boss, Trump, who endorsed the incumbent Strange in early August. Just as it did in Cantor’s race, the website has dispatched reporter Matt Boyle to cover the final weeks of the contest. One such dispatch favorably compares Moore to Sessions, noting that their respective positions on immigration and trade are no different.
The Moore-Strange primary fight is only a piece of the larger battle Breitbart is waging. The big fight is to oust Ryan from his position as House speaker and replace him with a congressman more favorable to the Breitbart agenda. Axios reported on Tuesday that Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), who heads the conservative House Freedom Caucus, met with Bannon and Boyle at Breitbart’s offices in Washington on Monday to discuss the caucus’ plans to take control of House leadership.
Meadows appeared the next day as a guest on Breitbart’s radio show, hosted by Boyle, to tell listeners how they should pressure Ryan, House Republican leadership and their own representatives. Meadows laid out the big fights to come on the debt ceiling and the budget, and urged Breitbart followers to press their lawmakers to oppose linking a debt ceiling increase to Hurricane Harvey relief funds. He called on listeners to tell lawmakers only to pass a government funding bill that would defund sanctuary cities and Planned Parenthood and include money for Trump’s border wall, and to put a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare on the president’s desk.
“If they do that, we will hopefully avoid this bloody September,” Meadows concluded.

BREAKING: Democrat Official Caught In Sick Criminal Bribery Scandal

Ben Baker

Gun violence by gang members has become a serious problem for California. In fact, Sacramento is starting to resemble Chicago.

After a fatal shooting over Labor Day weekend, Sacramento City Council members mobilized on a highly controversial scandal to promote a ceasefire.

City officials, led by Democrat Mayor Darrell Steinberg, unanimously agreed to pay gang members $1.5 million in stipends to be on their best behavior, according to Fox News.

It’s called the Advance Peace program, and city officials believe it will cure the city’s gun violence by bribing criminals. According to CBS News, the program identifies roughly 50 young men in various gangs (who are largely responsible for most of the city’s gun violence) and offers them a stipend from the $1.5 million to be on their best behavior for four years.

The program is modeled after an allegedly successful program that originated in Richmond, which offers mentorship programs, life coaches, daily check-ins, and other similar efforts to help gangbangers be on their best behavior. They would also be required to meet certain education requirements.

Over four years, if the gang members meet all of the criteria laid out in their contracts, they receive a cash stipend. For 50 participants, that’s $7,500 per year, per gang member.

Supporters of the program point to the “results” of the Richmond program, which alleges to be responsible for a 50 percent decrease in gun violence, and a 54 percent drop in murder rates.

Some are concerned that the program deviates too much from the Richmond program, and that city officials acted too quickly to have noticed any potential pitfalls. One major concern from critics is that the language in the contract is too vague, and could easily be exploited.

Angelique Ashby, City Councilwoman, makes this argument: “There’s nothing in this contract that says they’ll need to work with police or even schools. We have no opportunity to pull out of this contract. None!”

She requested a week delay to make the necessary changes to make the contracts more binding, but Mayor Steinberg quickly denied the request, claiming that there wasn’t time. “One week delay down the line is another gang shooting, another victim, so no,” Steinberg said.
Scott Jones, Sacramento Sheriff, strongly opposed the measure, saying it would do little to help stop gun violence. “I have fundamental objections to this program,” Jones said. “I am against significant taxpayer funding (or any money) being paid to people just to NOT commit crimes or shoot people.

They do not engage in law enforcement at all, and I have been told that if they become aware of one of the participants committing crime, they will NOT notify law enforcement.”
Allen Brown, a friend of Ernie Cadena — the shooting victim from Sunday that sparked the vote, criticized the program, citing community involvement as the needed element for change, and not payouts. “How’s the vote going to change anything? It’s up to the community to change. You know what I mean? It’s just senseless,” he said.

The vote was unanimous, with 9-0 in favor of implementing the program as quickly as possible.

ALERT: Kim Jong-Un’s New “Secret Weapon” Could End Life In America

Adam Selene

A top congressional analyst warns that the mainstream media is downplaying the North Korean threat by focusing solely on their ballistic missile program.

Dr. Peter Vincent Pry is the executive director of the privately-operated Task Force on National & Homeland Security, as well as the chief of staff for the Congressional EMP Commission. Dr. Pry recently appeared on the Aaron Klein Investigative Radio Show to discuss the North Korean satellites in orbit above the United States — satellites which are capable of destroying life in our country as we know it.

EMP, short for electromagnetic pulse, is a burst of electromagnetic energy capable of disrupting all electronic equipment within its range. EMPs occur naturally, but modern weapon systems are able to reproduce their devastating effects. The debilitating power of EMPs is often overlooked in the mainstream media.

Dr. Pry, an expert in electromagnetic weapons, warned of the damage that we would incur should we suffer an EMP attack. If North Korea were able to successfully launch an EMP attack in the United States, it could render all of our communication, transportation, and all other civilian infrastructure useless in an instant.

A successful EMP would wipe out all unprotected electronics. Our refrigerators and freezers would instantly stop working, preventing us from storing food. Additionally, we would lose the ability to heat or cool our houses.

Perishable items would quickly wither away. It would be devastating — millions of lives would be lost. We would be sent back to the early 19th century, and we’d be without any of the tools required to cope with an analog lifestyle.

Dr. Pry explains that the mainstream media’s focus on North Korea’s conventional ballistic missiles cause them to miss North Korea’s progress towards an EMP attack capability.

Dr. Pry says North Korea developed their EMP strategy based on an earlier set of tactics developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Those tactics involved disguising an EMP weapon as a satellite in order to trick America’s radar operators.

According to Dr. Pry, North Korea already has satellites in orbit above the United States. “They are positioning themselves as sort of a nuclear missile age, cyberage version of the battleship diplomacy in my view. So that they can always have one of [their satellites] very close to being over the United States or over the United States,” Dr. Pry explained. “Then if a crisis comes up and if we decide to attack North Korea, Kim Jong Un can threaten our president and say, ‘Well, don’t do that because we are going to burn your whole country down.’”

Asked About Risk of Taking Out Kim, Bolton Slams Fox Host With 7 Epic Words
BY V SAXENA

Following North Korea’s successful detonation of a nuclear device at its Punggye-ri testing site Sunday, foreign policy expert John Bolton argued that continued diplomacy with the rogue regime isn’t an option anymore, regardless of the risks a change in strategy would pose to the citizens of South Korea.
Taking out Kim Jong Un — along with his military, his nuclear weapons, and the whole corrupt regime that keeps him in power — could well be worth it, Bolton said. The consequences of not doing so could be even worse.
“(M)ore diplomacy with North Korea or sanctions … is just giving North Korea more time to increase its nuclear arsenal, increase its ballistic missile capability, increase the accuracy of its guidance systems and put us, South Korea and Japan in more jeopardy,” he initially said to Fox News host Trish Regan.
Troubled by what Bolton appeared to be suggesting, which was that the U.S. should destroy North Korea’s nuclear facilities or topple its regime, Regan then pivoted the discussion toward the risks a preemptive strike on North Korea would pose to its southern neighbor, especially were it to retaliate with force.
“What are we potentially risking now … what is the risk?” she asked. “Are we going to wind up with so many people’s lives gone in South Korea, in Seoul, because we make that move?”
While that was a fair question, Bolton’s terse reply made it clear why the larger risks to the United States outweigh any potential risks to South Korea.
“What do you think about dead Americans?” he bluntly asked.
His point was that if the U.S. fails to throttle North Korea’s nuclear ambitions now, it’s very likely that we’re “going to wind up with so many people’s lives gone” here in the heartland. In fact, North Korea’s unhinged dictator, Kim Jong Un, has repeatedly made it clear he wants to strike the United States.
“When you see a rattlesnake poised to strike, you don’t wait until it has struck before you crush it,” Bolton added at the end of the segment, invoking words spoken during the height of World War II by former President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
In other words, either we kill this “rattlesnake” now or wait until it kills us first. Which sounds like a smarter strategy to you?

G’ day…Ciao…
