Las Vegas shooting: What we know about suspect's Reno connections
The man police accused of killing more than 50 people and injuring more than 400 in a mass shooting in Las Vegas has connections to Reno.
Stephen Paddock, 64, owned properties in town — as well as many other cities across the United States — according to a review of available public records.
The records indicate Paddock owns or did own two properties in Reno.
…..Paddock purchased a home in the Sierra Canyon by Del Webb neighborhood in Somersett in June 2013, according to the Washoe County Assessor's Office.
…..He also owned a unit at The Montage on Sierra Street, which he purchased in 2012. He sold it in December 2016, according to the assessor.
Police in Las Vegas said Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay complex on the Las Vegas Strip. Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said Paddock killed himself before officers could enter the room.
