DOG FOR SALE
TOO FUNNY!!!
A guy is driving around the backwoods of Montana and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: 'Talking Dog For Sale 'He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard.

The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there.

'You talk?' he asks.

  • 'Yep,' the Lab replies.

  • After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says 'So, what's your story?'

  • The Lab looks up and says, 'Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so... I told the CIA.

  • In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping.'

  • 'I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running…

  • But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in.

  • I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals.

  • ''I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired.'

  • The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.

  • 'Ten dollars,' the guy says.

  • 'Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?'

'Because he's a Bullshitter.  He's never been out of the yard'

Hawkins: I Bet Freedom-Starved Iranians Wish They Had a Second Amendment

by AWR HAWKINS

As we watch freedom-starved Iranians stand against an extremist regime bent on retaining power, it is a safe bet that Iran’s rank and file would benefit from a Second Amendment.

The power structure in Iran right now is such that the right to keep and bear arms is not guaranteed by law. Additionally, only certain types of guns are allowable for private ownership, and those guns only go to people with special permission to own them.
According to The University of Sydney’s GunPolicy.org, “possession of rifles and shotguns is regulated by law” and “private possession of handguns (pistols and revolvers) is permitted with official permission.”
Who do you suppose gets “official permission” to possess pistols and revolvers?
Do you suppose it is those who wish to defend themselves from the extremist regime, or those who believe their fellow, liberty-deprived Iranians should learn to shut up or, at the least, grin and bear it?
These are questions the Founding Fathers did not want citizens of the United States to ask about themselves. Thus they placed the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights to prevent the government from infringing on the people’s right to bear arms. Moreover, the Founders made clear that the people kept weapons for the purposes of repelling tyranny, whether from within or without our national borders.
In fact, James Madison used Federalist 46 to argue that Americans in the late 18th century were exceptional because they were armed. And he explained that their possession of arms provided a means whereby they could band together and fend off an overreaching central government, should such a government emerge. He was clear in noting “the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation.”
In other words, the Second Amendment was placed in the Bill of Rights to prevent the government from inserting itself between the people and the people’s right to bear arms for self-defense. I bet the Iranians fighting for freedom yearn for protections that would provide a guarantee that they could be armed for self-defense.
As it now stands, Iran’s government effortlessly silences freedom’s fighters. On January 2, 2018, Breitbart News reported the protesters are “increasingly met with state-sponsored violence in Iran as they take to the streets to voice their opposition to the country’s hard-line Islamic government and its supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.” And the AP reports that the head of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court is warning that arrested protesters could potentially face death penalty cases when they come to trial.
Again, this is a scenario against which the Founding Father’s risked their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. They put the Second Amendment in place to be sure the U.S. government could not run roughshod over Americans, dragging them into court, trying and executing them as political dissidents.
The natural rights of Americans include the First Amendment right to freedom of speech and the right “peaceably to assemble” in pursuit of “a redress of grievances.” They also include the Third Amendment protections which shield private property from government intrusion and the Fourth Amendment rights protecting our ability to be secure in our “persons, houses, papers, and effects.”
Ultimately, these rights rest on the people’s ability to guard them via the Second Amendment’s guarantee of the right to keep and bear arms for self-defense. I bet defenseless, freedom-starved Iranians wish they had a Second Amendment.

Playboy learns the hard way not to mess with Trump

Playboy heir Cooper Hefner decided to be one of the cool kids this summer, and dumped on Trump.

The heir may regret that error of airing a complaint about President Trump.

Why am I embarrassed about this cover? Because we promote a philosophy that encourages ALL individuals to choose the life they want to live.

Let me explain.

After his father Hugh died, Cooper Hefner tweeted that he was embarrassed that Trump appeared on the cover of the March 1990 edition of Playboy, tweeting, "Why am I embarrassed about this cover? Because we promote a philosophy that encourages ALL individuals to choose the life they want to live."
Trump appeared on the cover 18 months before Cooper was born. At the time, he was nine months away from being a gleam in his father's eye.
He may as well have said he was embarrassed by slavery or World War II because he had as much to do with them as he did the Playboy cover.
Maybe daddy had second thoughts 25 years later. Who knows?

From Mashable:
Cooper's dad reportedly had something of a falling out with Trump after the latter secured the Republican nomination for the presidency, and though it's not clear why, it may have something to do with Trump courting evangelicals and the Christian right on his way to the White House. Hefner, after all, founded Playboy in part as a counterweight to the United States's Christian conservatism. As a longtime vocal defender of LGBT rights, he probably also didn't enjoy Trump's selection for vice president, Mike Pence. Pence once tried to link LGBT couples to "societal collapse."
Trump, to no one's great surprise, is apparently very proud to have graced the magazine's cover. Last year he told The Washington Post, “I was one of the few men in the history of Playboy to be on the cover."
Trump was right. That actually is quite an achievement.
Trump grew up wanting the Playboy style.
He has since outgrown it.
Lots of men have.
Cooper Hefner, 26, decided to get in a feud with The Donald -- one-sided as it was.
Not a bright idea.
Playboy as a magazine is on its last legs as a new year begins.

Donald Trump Promises ‘Great Support’ for Iran Protesters

by CHARLIE SPIERING

fake news

President Donald Trump continued to signal support for the anti-establishment protesters in Iran on Wednesday.

“Such respect for the people of Iran as they try to take back their corrupt government,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “You will see great support from the United States at the appropriate time!”
This is the third time that Trump signaled support for the protesters, pointedly demonstrating a different response than the Obama administration in 2009. The president also increased his level of support. On Tuesday, Trump noted that the United States was paying attention to the protests.
“The people of Iran are finally acting against the brutal and corrupt Iranian regime. All of the money that President Obama so foolishly gave them went into terrorism and into their ‘pockets,’” he wrote. “The people have little food, big inflation and no human rights. The U.S. is watching!”
Trump also echoed the Iranian protesters call for change on New Year’s Day, without specific demands.
“Iran is failing at every level despite the terrible deal made with them by the Obama Administration,” he wrote. “The great Iranian people have been repressed for many years. They are hungry for food & for freedom. Along with human rights, the wealth of Iran is being looted. TIME FOR CHANGE!”

Bannon Praises Trump: POTUS ‘Is a Great Man… I Support Him Day In and Day Out’
by ROBERT KRAYCHIK

Associated Press

“The President of the United States is a great man,” said Breitbart News’s Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon on Wednesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight.

Bannon’s comments came in response to Justin from California, a caller-in to Breitbart News Tonight noting President Donald Trump’s recent criticisms of Bannon.
Partial transcript below.
JUSTIN: First of all, I think [Donald Trump] made a huge mistake, Steve, bashing you like he did today on Twitter. That was devastating to me. I hope in the future you can forgive him for that when we come to 2020, because I’m sure he’s going to need your help.
BANNON: The President of the United States is a great man. You know I support him day in and day out, whether going through the country giving the Trump Miracle speech or on the show or on the website, so I don’t you have to worry about that. But I appreciate the kind words.
JUSTIN: Yeah, that just made me sick to my stomach, though.
“[Donald Trump] got sucked in by fake news, or trolled,” said Gayle in Alabama, another caller-in toe Breitbart News Tonight, framing the president as being fooled by cultivated drama via the Hollywood Reporter’s Michael Wolff.
Partial transcript below.
BANNON: President Trump, with the whole swamp up there, the D.C. apparatus, the nullification project, everything going on; he is fighting every day. There’s no doubt in your mind, right? And maybe things get off track, or stuff gets said, and all this heated stuff, but however, this is a guy, you voted for him, you supported him, is there any doubt in your mind he’s been fighting for and working for you, the deplorables, the forgotten man and woman, the silent majority, every day he’s been there?
GAYLE: I’ve never thought that any of us were deplorables. I thought they all were criminals, because I know who they are. I’ve done the savings and loans. I took down many, I mean, I did the banking work. I do know across the country, I do know the history. We are fighting the criminals in Washington. We are fighting the seventy- and eighty-year-old criminals. We are fighting the people, the Clintons and the Bushes. We do know the history. We are not the deplorables. We are the subdued by the criminals in Washington… I happen to know this country is greater because of a Stephen K. Bannon.
Breitbart News Tonight airs Monday through Friday on SiriusXM’s Patriot channel 125 from 9:00 p.m. to midnight Eastern (6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pacific).

President Donald Trump Recognized as ‘Pro-Life Person of the Year’ for 2017

by THOMAS D. WILLIAMS, PH.D

US President Donald Trump's first National Security Strategy says China and Russia are 'attempting to erode American security and prosperity'

One of the most prominent pro-life groups in America has given its annual award to President Donald Trump, declaring him the 2017 “Pro-Life Person of the Year.”

“Since Trump took office, he has accomplished more for the pro-life agenda than any other president,” according to Operation Rescue, one of the most visible and effective pro-life activist groups in the country.
Operation Rescue gives its annual Malachi Award “to recognize individuals who sacrificially work to advance the cause of protecting the preborn,” their website states.
The group’s president, Troy Newman, had high praise for Mr. Trump, announcing that he “has proven to be the most pro-life president we have had in modern history and has backed up his pro-life rhetoric with action like no other before him.”
Newman said that President Trump has had the courage to keep promises made during the campaign that provide greater protections for the preborn and deny Federal funds to those who commit abortions.
In explaining why its award went to Mr. Trump, Operation Rescue highlighted eight specific accomplishments it attributes to his presidency.
These achievements include naming Justice Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court, denying public money to abortion providers around the world, the Department of Justice investigation into Planned Parenthood’s illegal sale of baby parts, support for pro-life legislation, support for the defunding of Planned Parenthood, his naming of pro-life people to his administration, specific HHS pro-life policies, and protections for conscientious objectors to the Obamacare HHS mandate.
“We are proud of President Trump and his bold willingness to advance the cause of life,” Newman said. “There are more battles ahead, but under the Trump administration, we can now finally see progress within our government toward restoring the sanctity of life and the protections of personhood to the pre-born.”
The National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) lashed out at Operation Rescue for its decision, calling it “an anti-choice extremist group with ties to domestic terrorism,” thereby signaling that the award had hit home.
NARAL went on to describe pro-life Americans who work for the protection of the unborn as Trump’s “extremist, fringe base.”

One Piece Of Paper Just Ended John McCain’s Career For Good

John McCain is a key player in the swamp’s scheme to remove Donald Trump from office.

He’s neck deep in scandal.

And now one piece of paper could end up finishing his career for good.

McCain played a central role in spreading the fake news about Trump colluding with Russia to rig the 2016 election.

He dispatched David Kramer – a former State Department official – to London to personally retrieve a copy of the Fusion GPS “Trump-Russia” dossier.

McCain then hand delivered the document to former FBI Director James Comey.
Once Comey briefed Trump on the dossier, it leaked to the press and the collusion narrative was off to the races.

The dossier – which was nothing more than a Clinton campaign funded opposition research document – was possibly used by the FBI to start the collusion investigation and obtain FISA warrants to spy on Trump campaign officials.

But who were the shadowy Russians Christopher Steele paid for this misinformation?

Kramer says he knows the sources but refused to reveal them to House Intelligence Committee investigators.

Now the committee has subpoenaed him to be put under oath and forced to reveal the names.

The Daily Caller reports:
“THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE HAS ISSUED A SUBPOENA FOR AN ASSOCIATE OF ARIZONA SEN. JOHN MCCAIN’S WHO REVEALED LAST WEEK THAT HE KNOWS THE NAMES OF THE RUSSIAN SOURCES USED IN FORMER BRITISH SPY CHRISTOPHER STEELE’S INFAMOUS DOSSIER.
A CONGRESSIONAL SOURCE TELLS THE DAILY CALLER THAT CALIFORNIA REP. DEVIN NUNES ISSUED THE SUBPOENA ON WEDNESDAY FOR DAVID J. KRAMER, A FORMER STATE DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL.
KRAMER REFUSED TO DIVULGE THE NAMES OF STEELE’S SOURCES DURING A DEC. 19 INTERVIEW WITH THE PANEL, THE SOURCE SAYS.
STEELE USED RUSSIAN SOURCES TO GATHER INFORMATION ON THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND DONALD TRUMP’S ACTIVITIES IN RUSSIA. THE EX-SPY WAS WORKING FOR FUSION GPS, AN OPPOSITION RESEARCH FIRM THAT WAS ON THE PAYROLL OF THE CLINTON CAMPAIGN AND DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE…
… KRAMER, A FORMER EXECUTIVE AT THE MCCAIN INSTITUTE FOR LEADERSHIP, HAS BEEN A LOW-KEY BUT CENTRAL FIGURE IN THE DOSSIER SAGA.
HE AND MCCAIN WERE FIRST TOLD ABOUT THE REPORT IN NOV. 2016 BY SIR ANDREW WOOD, A FORMER BRITISH DIPLOMAT AND ASSOCIATE OF THE LONDON-BASED STEELE’S.
ON NOV. 28, 2016, KRAMER TRAVELED TO LONDON TO MEET WITH STEELE TO DISCUSS THE DOSSIER. KRAMER AND STEELE ARRANGED FOR A COPY OF THE DOSSIER TO BE PROVIDED TO MCCAIN. AFTER KRAMER RETURNED BACK TO THE U.S., STEELE INSTRUCTED FUSION GPS TO PROVIDE A COPY OF THE DOCUMENT TO MCCAIN AND KRAMER.”
The FBI has stated they have yet to be able to verify the central claim of the dossier – namely that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians.
Determining who planted that information will go a long way towards putting this hoax investigation to rest.

Report: NK Launches Missile, Accidentally Hits Unintended Target

North Korea’s dictatorship has long been known for brutalizing its own citizens while thumbing its nose at the world with its nuclear missile program.
But a new report shows the Kim Jong Un regime might have gone even further:
It may have brutalized its own citizens with a missile shot that went bad, and struck one of its own cities.
According the international magazine The Diplomat, a medium-range rocket fired from an airfield about 40 miles north of the capital of Pyonyang ended up hitting a building in Tokchon, a city of 200,000, about 50 miles from its launching site.
Citing an unnamed source in the United States government, The Diplomat reported that the missile’s engines failed about one minute into its flight, on April 28, 2017.
If the flight had finished successfully, the missile likely would have landed in the Sea of Japan, The Diplomat reported.
The Diplomat did not speculate about casualties on the ground.
“It’s impossible to verify if the incident caused any loss of life and, given the time of day the test occurred and the location of the impact, it may be likely that few, if any, casualties resulted from the incident,” the magazine reported.
However, there was considerable damage to an agricultural complex that was apparently struck by the errant missile.
“An image from Google earth of the complex show ground disturbances in an area that previously contained a building with fencing, also showing that a portion of the seasonal greenhouse had been damaged near the side of the complex where the debris fell,” The Diplomat reported.
Obviously, it’s bad enough that the North Korean government puts its own miserable population in danger with its slipshod approach to safety with deadly missiles.
But as The Diplomat points out, a similar problem with another missile could have much more far-reaching consequences:
“… (S)should a future North Korean missile overflying fail at the wrong moment during its powered flight phases, its trajectory may come to resemble an attack on Japan. Even with a dummy payload, an incident like that could spark a serious crisis in Northeast Asia. North Korea’s missile tests, which violate its obligations under United Nations Security Council resolutions, come with no formal warning or notices to airmen, leaving regional states and the United States to their own devices in interpreting Pyongyang’s intentions once the engines are ignited.”
Interpreting the intentions of dictator Kim Jong Un and his regime is never easy, and it’s easy to envision the military forces of the United States and Japan assuming that a North Korean missile hitting Japan was the start of a military conflict initiated by the Pyongyang regime.
Considering the tensions between the United States and North Korea – despite a recent feeler by the Kim regime to the South Korean government – it’s entirely possible that could lead to an overwhelming attack by the United States and its allies.
And if that happens, Kim Jong Un is going to realize that his mistake wasn’t in having a rocket that failed – it was in challenging the world’s only superpower in the first place.
Please like and share this story on Facebook and Twitter to let everyone know about the North Korean missile that struck its own city.

Are Bannon’s Breitbart days numbered?

By Larry O'Connor - The Washington Times

FILE - In this Oct. 17, 2017, file photo Steve Bannon, former strategist for President Donald Trump, speaks at a campaign rally for Arizona Senate candidate Kelli Ward in Scottsdale, Ariz. Ward is running against incumbent Republican Jeff Flake in next year's GOP primary. Some Republican Party leaders warn that conservative candidates with problematic track records like Danny Tarkanian in Nevada or Ward cant win general election battles and will lead the GOP to lose seats in 2018. ANALYSIS/OPINION:
Following his criptic Tweet identifying Steve Bannon’s new benfactor, enigmatic Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui, Matt Drudge followed up on Twitter with a personal and impassioned plea for a new direction at Breitbart News:
View image on Twitter
The terrific Larry Solov and Susie Breitbart will take Breitbart into the fresh future. Has it really been 10 yrs since Andrew told me on Santa Monica pier he was going to do it?! His first hire Alex Marlow [he was 21] became one of the best news editors in the world!
The message accompanying a photo of the late Andrew Breitbart reads: “The terrific Larry Solov and Susie Breitbart will take Breitbart into the fresh future. Has it really been 10 yrs since Andrew told me on Santa Monica pier he was going to do it?! His first hire Alex Marlow [he was 21] became one of the best news editors in the world!”
Larry Solov was Breitbart’s long-time friend (they were neighbors in Brentwood. CA and had been pals since the age of four) and business partner who became the President and CEO of Breitbart News after Andrew’s sudden and tragic death in 2012.
On paper, Solov actually runs Breitbart. Bannon’s rols as Executive Chairman was always supposed to be an advisory and board-related function but over the years his influence and management of the staff and operations became evident.

After Wednesday’s events involving President Trump’s public dressing down and humiliation of his former staffer, it seems untenable for Bannon to remain at the reins of the site that has become a clearing house for pro-Trump reporting and analysis.
Drudge’s message to Solov and Andrew’s widow, Susie Breitbart, suggests the new media mogul has some level of insight into the internal conversations at the highest levels of Breitbart News.
In fact, Drudge’s message suggests that a Bannon ouster is a fait accompli. With his assertion that Solov and Breitbart “will take Breitbart into the fresh future” Drudge is sending the message that decisions have already been made and Solov (along with Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow) are already taking back the reins of the site they helped create long before Bannon was anywhere on the media or political radar.

G’ day…Ciao…
Helen and Moe Lauzier
