7 Reasons Why the Transgender Revolution Will Fail

I earnestly hope and pray that every child and adult struggling with gender identity issues will find wholeness, peace, and happiness from the inside out. I earnestly hope and pray that we will live to see the day when every person who feels trapped inside the wrong body will find internal resolution without hormones and radical surgery. At the same time, I wholeheartedly oppose the transgender revolution and predict that, ultimately, it will fail. Here’s why.
1) The transgender revolution is oppressive. As reported on July 16 on Lifesite News, “Failing to refer to a gender-confused student, professor, or staffer by his or her ‘preferred’ pronouns could become a fireable or expulsion-worthy offense at the University of Minnesota, according to proposed guidelines currently under consideration.”
It is not enough to allow a biological male to identify as a female. Hardly. Society must conform, or else. If “he” now identifies as “she” (or “xe” or “ze”) and you fail to use the right pronoun, you will be punished.
This is already the law in New York City. And Canada has taken steps to make this kind of enforced speech the law across the country.
This cannot succeed in the long-term. Society will push back.
2) The transgender revolution is irrational. As a result of trans activism, tampons are now available in some college campus bathrooms. After all, we are told, men menstruate as well!
Yes, a woman who identifies as a man but still gets her monthly period is actually a menstruating man.
And we are supposed to believe this nonsense? We are supposed to shake our heads and say, “How quaint”? I don’t think so.
Recently, however, trans activists have taken things to a new depth of irrationality. Men who identify as women have declared that they get their periods too – just differently! So, other biological realities must now be redefined as well, and a monthly cycle is no longer a physical event.
To quote a “trans girl” directly: “Nobody teaches trans girls about our periods. We just get these weird times where we're moody and crampy and sad and we don't know why and just chalk it up to another reason we're not good enough in life.
“So, just so you all know: Trans. Girls. Get. Periods.”
Enough said. This is beyond irrational.
3) The transgender revolution is unhealthy. Trans advocates tell us that failure to diagnose and treat gender dysphoria will result in depression, suicide, or other forms of self-harm. And I’m sure that, in some cases, post-hormone and post-surgery, many individuals are more satisfied with their quality of life.
Others would point to the high percentage of suicides after surgery, along with the substantial number of people who experience sex-change regret.
But there’s more to be concerned about. A recent headline on a gay website announced, “Hormone therapy linked to dangerous health issues in trans women.” Yes, “Researchers set out to examine heart and circulatory health in transgender people, and found that transgender women face a greater chance of strokes, heart attacks, and blood clots compared to their non-transgender counterparts.”
And what about kids who are put on hormone blockers before puberty, then put on a life-long regimen of hormonal therapy? What will the ill effects be?
4) The transgender revolution is extreme. Scarlett Johansson, one of the biggest female names on the big screen, recently felt the wrath of transgender activists, withdrawing from her starring role as a trans man after protests. How dare a female actor play the role of a trans man when there are plenty of trans men who can play the role.
But isn’t this what actors do? It’s one thing for a white man to paint his face in order to play the role of a black man.
But actors act. They play all kinds of roles that are unrelated to their private lives. They play villains and thieves. They play athletes and politicians. They play liars and saints, good guys and bad guys. They play superheroes and super criminals. They play aliens and vampires. And all that is acceptable – unless they play a trans person.
Enough said.
5) The transgender revolution is dangerous. When you insist that a biological male who identifies as a female has the “right” to use a women’s bathroom, locker room, and dressing room, you are asking for trouble.
A headline from England stated, “Transgender prisoner who was put in a female jail despite not having sex-change surgery ‘sexually assaulted four women inmates before being moved to a male prison’.”
So, a biological male with male organs intact (and obviously, still attracted to women) was put in a women’s prison. Should we be surprised by what happened?
In the States, Planet Fitness sided against a female, former sexual assault victim who protested against the presence of a man (identified here as “Mr. Rice”) in the locker room. As explained in the case being brought by Liberty Counsel, “This is not the only incident with Mr. Rice known to Planet Fitness. Another woman reported that he exposed his naked body to her in the women's locker room at this location. In another instance, he was involved in an argument with another woman over use of the tanning room. Misogynist, anti-woman harassment should have no place in Planet Fitness locations, and violates Florida law.”
6) The transgender revolution is unnatural. There are fundamental, undeniable differences between men and women, which is why there is an increasing pushback against biological males competing against biological females.
Even among some feminists and lesbians, there is resistance to trans women being accepted as females. And it is for good reason. A biological male will never be a female.
7) The transgender revolution is an attack on children. Trans advocates would tell us that they are helping children, that they are saving them many years of grief and pain and confusion. In reality, for every child they might help (and even at that, in a temporary, non-holistic way) they are confusing many more children -- innocent, tender kids.
As the Daily Mail asked, “Are children as young as 11 really capable of making life-changing decisions about their gender?”
We are playing with fire here, and there will likely be many, many casualties before we wake up.
There is much more that could be said, but here’s a final reflection. For decades now, billions of dollars have been invested to discover a cure for cancer. Chemotherapy is not sufficient. Radiation treatment only goes so far. Other “cures” fall short of the mark.
In the same spirit, let us continue to pursue better treatments for those diagnosed with gender dysphoria. Surely there is a better way than hormone blockers for children, double mastectomies and sex-change surgery for older teens, and hormones for life.
Let’s work toward this while firmly resisting the transgender revolution. We owe it to our kids and grandkids.

Former prosecutor blasts Obama's CIA chief

Barack Obama CIA director John Brennan has a long history of controversial statements.
His most recent diatribe was during President Trump’s summit in Helsinki with Russian President Vladimir Putin, when he said Trump’s actions were “treasonous.”
But now it’s Brennan who is being called a traitor to his country.
Former U.S. Attorney for Washington Joe diGenova told the Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity that Brennan is responsible for the sharing of false information about Trump and Russia with American intelligence agencies.
Hannity said he thinks Brennan knew all about the Democrat-funded “dossier” of unproven claims about Trump that was used to obtain a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign and helped prompt the special counsel investigation.
“I look at a guy like Brennan, it happened on his watch, I think he probably knew all about the dossier. His involvement in this is going to be very interesting,” Hannity said. “Do we really want to live in a country where the Senate leader on the Democratic side says you better not ever say anything bad about the Intel community?”
DiGenova responded: “Sean, I want to talk about two people. We only have so much time — John Brennan and Leon Panetta. John Brennan is a traitor and I will tell you why. He is the real traitor. What he did and what he has had recently about the president of the United States is despicable.”
The former U.S. attorney said Brennan “is personally responsible for the leaking of unmasked information, he was responsible for the sharing of false information to U.S. intelligence sources to get FISA warrants.”
“He is personally responsible for the sharing of false information with American intelligence agencies, and he – I challenge him to a debate at the National Press Club for one hour, two hours, three hours about his role in the entire pre-election.”
Regarding Panetta, DiGenova said he “should be ashamed of himself after what he did in Benghazi when he kissed Hillary Clinton’s fanny … now he says he thinks the Russians may have something on the president to compromise him?”
“Shame on Leon Panetta, may he rot in hell.”
Someone went into the Wikipedia site for Brennan and labeled him, shortly after his criticism of Trump, as a “silly old fart.”
A day earlier, Brennan, who recently was described as being “demented by hatred” against President Trump, tweeted that the president’s meeting was “nothing short of treasonous.”
Democrats and other critics had demanded Trump call off his Finland meeting with Putin, claiming the indictment Friday of 12 Russian intelligence officers for interference in the 2016 election further implicates the Trump campaign in an alleged scheme to collude with the Russian government to defeat Hillary Clinton.
Brennan tweeted: “Donald Trump’s press conference in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes and misdemeanors.’ It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???”
Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation has produced no evidence of Trump collusion with Russia after 14 months.
In a news conference Monday after his meeting with Trump, Putin denied Russia interfered in the election, and Trump deflected a question from a reporter asking whether he believed Putin or the assessment of U.S. intelligence that Russia meddled in the 2016 campaign.
Trump emphasized there was “no collusion,” saying he didn’t even know Putin at the time of the 2016 election.
Asked which side is responsible for the poor relations, Trump said, “I hold both countries responsible.”
Brennan: Trump Cabinet should resign
Brennan also went on MSNBC to charge treason, urging Trump’s Cabinet to resign.
“I was just totally shocked at the performance of Donald Trump in Helsinki at a press conference with Vladimir Putin,” he told Brian Williams. “I just found that it was outrageous. And even when the press — and thank goodness the press asked the right questions — even when the press gave him an opportunity to hold Russia accountable for anything, he chose to talk about Hillary Clinton, about his election, about servers.
“He criticized American citizens, Secretary Clinton and others as opposed to really taking advantage of a world stage, with all the world’s eyes upon them, to point out how unacceptable Russia’s behavior and interference in our election and the elections of other democratic countries around the globe is. But he just shirked those responsibilities.”
Brennan said he could not understand “how the national security team can continue to abide by this” and how Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, National Security Adviser John Bolton and Chief of Staff John Kelly “can continue in their jobs.”
“This, I think, rises to the point of good American patriots resigning in objection to that performance by Donald Trump,” he said.
Scott Johnson at the Powerline blog charged Brennan with having “animus nakedly on display.”
“He is demented by hatred,” Johnson wrote. “Is this really the public role a former director of the CIA is to be playing?”
Not the first rant
Russia expert Paul Kengor earlier wrote in a commentary that Brennan, responding to FBI probes of corruption and other problems, also had “uncorked an epic Twitter rant against Trump.”
Brennan wrote at the time: “When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America. … America will triumph over you.”
Kengor highlighted Brennan’s shockingly radical background, noting the Obama CIA director voted for Communist Party candidate Gus Hall for president of the United States.
He wrote:
For those too young to remember, Gus Hall was the longtime hack and head of Communist Party USA, beginning in 1959 until his death in 2000. Not even Joe Stalin as a party general secretary came close to matching Gus Hall’s interminable tenure. Hall was unwaveringly dedicated to a global communist revolution and a truly Evil Empire that was ultimately and blessedly consigned to “the dustbin of history.”
Kengor noted claims that Brennan converted to Islam, but whether or not that’s true, Brennan has “made very positive statements about Islam and the ‘privilege’ of making pilgrimage to Mecca and paying homage to ‘the majesty of the Hajj.'”

“In fact, if one studies Brennan’s admission that he voted for Gus Hall, it looks like he also suggested that he might have been a member of the Communist Party in 1980. Yes, a formal member,” Kengor wrote.
He said one might “lend more credibility to Brennan’s crowing about Donald Trump if he had better judgment about presidents of the United States.”
Brennan once came under investigation for perjury because he had, under oath before the House Intelligence Committee, testified that the infamous anti-Trump “dossier” funded by the Democratic Party played no role in the intelligence community’s publicly released conclusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 election.
Brennan further declared he did not know who commissioned the opposition-research document, even though senior national security and counter-intelligence officials at the Justice Department and FBI knew the previous year it was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., subsequently suggested that charges against Brennan might be appropriate.
Nunes released a memo Feb. 2 summarizing former deputy director Andrew McCabe’s testimony that the unverified dossier was essential to obtaining warrants in October 2016 to spy on a Trump campaign official. Nunes further found that in four separate applications for a warrant, FBI and Justice officials hid the fact that it was funded by the Democratic Party.
Reporter Paul Sperry at the time quoted an aide, who spoke on condition of anonymity, stating: “John Brennan did more than anyone to promulgate the dirty dossier. He politicized and effectively weaponized what was false intelligence against Trump.”
Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino said Brennan’s testimony that he didn’t know who commissioned the dossier isn’t plausible because “the CIA has a central role in the verification of foreign assets and information we get from foreign assets.”
And after Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., accused the CIA of spying on members of the Senate by hacking into computers used by her intelligence committee’s staffers, Brennan said, “Let me assure you the CIA was in no way spying on [the committee] or the Senate.”
However, a CIA inspector general’s report found the CIA was spying on the Senate, and Brennan was forced to privately apologize to intelligence committee chairmen.
Brennan also claimed in a 2011 speech that there had not been “a single collateral death” from U.S. drone strikes because of their “exceptional proficiency [and] precision.’” However, the Bureau of Investigative Journalism found that one U.S. drone strike alone had killed 42 Pakistanis, “most of them civilians.”
In April 2017, citing an article in the Guardian of London, the American Spectator’s George Neumayr found confirmation that Brennan was “the American progenitor of political espionage aimed at defeating Donald Trump”
“One side did collude with foreign powers to tip the election – Hillary’s,” he wrote. “Seeking to retain his position as CIA director under Hillary, Brennan teamed up with British spies and Estonian spies to cripple Trump’s candidacy.
“He used their phone intelligence as a pretext for a multi-agency investigation into Trump, which led the FBI to probe a computer server connected to Trump Tower and gave cover to Susan Rice, among other Hillary supporters, to spy on Trump and his people.”
WND Founder and CEO Joseph Farah wrote in a recent column about Brennan and included a three-minute video of a speech he gave in 2010 about the beauty of Islam.
Brennan describes in one part how he traveled through Indonesia, and felt the “tremendous warmth of Islamic cultures and societies.”
“I came to see Islam not how it is often misrepresented but for what it is; how it is practiced every day by well over a billion Muslims worldwide. A faith of peace and tolerance and great diversity.”

Trump immediately faced backlash from Republican and Democratic lawmakers in Congress, who criticized him for not speaking more forcefully against Putin.
Brennan took his criticism further, calling the president’s behavior “treasonous.”
“Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin,” tweeted Brennan. “Republican Patriots: Where are you???”
“You know, John Brennan started out his adulthood by voting for the Communist Party presidential candidate,” he said. “He’s now ending his career by showing himself to be the most biased, bigoted, over-the-top, hyperbolic, sort of unhinged director of the CIA we’ve ever had, and really it’s an insult to everything about our government to have a former head of the CIA calling the president ‘treasonous’ just because he doesn’t like him.”
Paul’s not the first Republican to accuse Brennan of voting for the Communist Party. Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis, political commentator Sebastian Gorka and others have made similar statements.
The claim comes from remarks Brennan made in 2016 at a panel discussion hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. Brennan was asked whether a history of political activism could hurt somebody’s chances of obtaining a security clearance.
“We’ve all had indiscretions in our past,” he responded. “I would not be up here if that was disqualifying.”
Brennan had to take a polygraph test to gain admission to the CIA, and during the test, he was asked whether he had ever worked with or for a group dedicated to overthrowing the U.S. government. “This was back in 1980, and I thought back to a previous election where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate,” he told the audience.
“I said I was neither Democratic or Republican, but it was my way, as I was going to college, of signaling my unhappiness with the system, and the need for change,” he said. “I said I’m not a member of the Communist Party, so the polygrapher looked at me and said, ‘OK,’ and when I was finished with the polygraph and I left and said, ‘Well, I’m screwed.’”
To his surprise, the CIA admitted Brennan.
“So if back in 1980, John Brennan was allowed to say, ‘I voted for the Communist Party with Gus Hall’ … and still got through, rest assured that your rights and your expressions and your freedom of speech as Americans is something that’s not going to be disqualifying of you as you pursue a career in government,” he said.
Roughly thirty years later, President Barack Obama tapped Brennan to become the director of the CIA.

Things are getting even sketchier in Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders’ favorite country.

In Venezuela – the world’s socialist paradise – civil society has broken down to such a degree that not only are automobiles disappearing, but public transportation has shut down. A Reuters reporter made a visit recently, and it’s tragic what unbridled socialism can do:
On a recent afternoon, a crowd of hundreds massed on the sidewalk outside an exit from the subway in the central Venezuelan city of Valencia.
But when a flatbed truck previously used to transport water bottles pulled up nearby, a ruthless scramble kicked off with pregnant women, parents holding toddlers and elderly Venezuelans all jostling to get themselves aboard.
In this once-thriving industrial city as in much of the country, public buses have gradually disappeared due to scarce or prohibitively expensive tires, motor oil, batteries and spare parts.
Rather than cars with seats, now the primary public transportation are cargo trucks.
The “dog carts,” as they are informally known in Caracas, tend to squeeze standing passengers – mostly poor Venezuelans – into the backs of the large vehicles.
“It’s tough. I’m tired on the way there, tired on the way back, I feel terrible,” said exhausted homemaker Angelica Gomez, wiping sweat from her brow as she climbed into a flatbed truck with metal railings on the sides.
And these are Venezuela’s taxis now. The drivers charge fares and have regular schedules.
Similar forms of transport have been common in developing countries and struggling economies in recent decades, but are rarely seen in oil-rich countries such as Venezuela. Other countries have also made an effort to provide safer public transit options.
These “Dog Carts” are becoming as common as busses in Venezuela now. There used to be 280,000 busses in the country, but that number has dwindled almost 90 percent.
The country of 30 million is suffering through a fifth straight year of economic collapse. Officially, annual inflation stands at an unfathomable 46,000 percent.
Opposition lawmaker Nora Bracho estimates 39 people have died and around 275 have been injured so far this year in accidents involving unlicensed modes of public transit.
Accidents are often due to poorly maintained vehicles with bald tires or insufficient oil as well as reckless drivers, according to passengers and union leaders.
In violence-rife Venezuela, the chaos on these trucks can also be targeted by criminals.
Andreina Leal, a 36-year-old hairdresser, was robbed of her cellphone and cash during a recent trip on a truck in the western state of Tachira.
“I run the risk of falling, so I hang on tightly to the truck,” said Leal as she waited for another truck to pick her up. “I was already robbed once because I was so focused on not falling.”
