Judicial Watch Documents Valerie Jarrett’s Family Ties to Communism
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) files obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government.
Jarrett’s dad, pathologist and geneticist Dr. James Bowman, had extensive ties to Communist associations and individuals, his lengthy FBI file shows. In 1950 Bowman was in communication with a paid Soviet agent named Alfred Stern, who fled to Prague after getting charged with espionage. Bowman was also a member of a Communist-sympathizing group called the Association of Internes and Medical Students. …
According to Bowman’s government file the Association of Internes and Medical Students is an organization that “has long been a faithful follower of the Communist Party line” and engages in un-American activities. Bowman was born in Washington D.C. and had deep ties to Chicago, where he often collaborated with fellow Communists. JW also obtained documents on Bowman from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) showing that the FBI was brought into investigate him for his membership in a group that “follows the communist party line.” The Jarrett family Communist ties also include a business partnership between Jarrett’s maternal grandpa, Robert Rochon Taylor, and Stern, the Soviet agent associated with her dad.
Jarrett’s father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, was also another big-time Chicago Communist, according to separate FBI files obtained by JW as part of a probe into the Jarrett family’s Communist ties. For a period of time Vernon Jarrett appeared on the FBI’s Security Index and was considered a potential Communist saboteur who was to be arrested in the event of a conflict with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).
Obama’s lack of seriousness has led many to suspect that Valerie Jarrett is effectively calling the shots at the White House.
Obama himself was mentored by Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Soviet-financed Communist Party USA who also had an extensive FBI file, and who also was designated for arrest should war break out with the USSR, the country to which he could be presumed to be loyal.
Advisor David Axelrod, who prepared the Obama package so that the media could sell it to the masses, also has numerous communist ties.
Bill Ayers launched Obama’s political career from the apartment he shared with fellow communist terrorist Bernardine Dohrn.
Yet again we see that Joseph McCarthy was correct about American institutions being infested with communists devoted to the downfall of our country and the establishment of a repressive oligarchical collectivist regime along the lines of the Soviet Union. The sort of people McCarthy was demonized for warning us against now run the White House.

Judicial Watch believes former Sen. Harry Reid may have been used in efforts to undermine the Trump campaign.
Communications in 2016 between former CIA Director John Brennan and the former top Senate Democrat are being sought in documents requested from the CIA by the watchdog group, according to Fox News.
The “stop-Trump gang” allegedly used several methods to create a narrative of collusion with Russia, Chris Farrell, director of investigations and research at Judicial Watch, told Fox News’ Shannon Bream on “Fox News @ Night” on Monday.
The group thinks Reid was part of that effort and is investigating whether Brennan leaked information to the lawmaker so that it could be made public, thereby creating a false narrative.
Citing one example, Bream read from a letter from Reid to then-FBI Director James Comey in 2016, two days after he was briefed by Brennan.
“The evidence of a direct connection between the Russian government and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign continues to mount. … The American people deserve to have a full understanding of the facts from a completed investigation before they vote this November.”
Farrell noted that the efforts created an “echo-chamber effect” in which “everyone says” and “everyone knows” about the collusion because it is being circulated.
“It’s how the public is manipulated, it’s how the media is manipulated, and all you need is the tiniest little kernel of half-truth,” he said.
Referring to another example in which Reid said on the Senate floor in 2012 that “the word’s out” about then-presidential candidate Mitt Romney not paying his taxes for 10 years, Farrell called it out as “rumor” and “innuendo.”
“It’s slanderous in many cases,” he said, adding that Reid is part of a “deliberate, orchestrated act.”
“One of the ways to move the narrative out of the CIA and get it into the media stream,” Farrell noted, “is to have Reid act as a channel to do that.”
“So we want to see what was really going on, who was briefed, who was involved,” Farrell explained. “The only way to really understand this is to shed light on it. We’re going to do it.”
Warren Campaign Receives Thousands From Bain Executive, State Lobbyist
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.), who has positioned herself as a crusader against corporate interests, received thousands of dollars from corporations, according to her latest FEC filing.
Warren has been floated as a potential 2020 presidential candidate and has frequently slammed Republicans for the financial support their campaigns receive from corporations and the wealthy. While she has opposed the Citizens United Supreme Court ruling that allows corporations to pay for political messages, she has also said she supports capitalism, and her campaign coffers have benefitted.
Warren's Senate reelection campaign received $5,400 from Jonathan Lavine, the chief investment officer of Bain Capital Credit and co-managing partner of Bain Capital, and $5,400 from his wife, Jeannie, according to the FEC July 15 quarterly report.
Earlier this month, Warren sharply criticized investors' actions in the Toys "R" Us bankruptcy case, which included Bain.
"When an outside group with a lot of money can come into a place like Toys ‘R’ Us and vacuum up all the value and leave the employees, leave the pensioners, leave the small-trade, the folks who help supply the business … and take all the value and leave nothing for anyone else, then capitalism doesn’t work. Markets don’t work," Warren said.
She also received $1,000 from Daniel O’Connell, president and CEO of the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership, which the Boston Globe describes as "the state's most powerful business group." O'Connell is a liaison between the group's members and state-government power brokers in Boston. The partnership includes CEOs of Putnam Investments, Raytheon, Mass Mutual, John Hancock, Bank Of America, Fidelity Investments, and Liberty Mutual.
In addition to corporate interests, Warren also received campaign contributions from "longtime lobbyist" Lawrence B. Rasky, the chairman of Rasky Baerlein, Inc, one of the "busiest" lobbying firms in Massachusetts. Rasky and his wife, Carolyn, both donated $5,400 each to Warren's campaign. Rasky is not a federal registered lobbyist.
Still, Warren has continued to use anti-corporate rhetoric as she campaigns for re-election.
"Right now this government works great for anyone who can hire an army of lobbyists and lawyers, but it doesn’t work so well for everyone else. But we’re going to change that. It’s only when all of us speak up that we’re going to make our government work for the people," Warren said last month.

All three networks on Tuesday and Wednesday ignored a blockbuster Second Amendment ruling to come out of the usually liberal Ninth Circuit. The pro-gun rights decision found that Americans DO have a constitutional right to openly carry outside of the home.
Despite a combined eight hours of air time on Wednesday, ABC’s Good Morning America, CBS This Morning and NBC’s Today avoided the big win for gun rights advocates. (So did Tuesday's evening newscasts.) Fox News, unlike the networks, did cover the story. Fox and Friends host Brian Kilmeade alerted: “The Ninth Circuit court is backing the Second Amendment. The ruling comes after a Hawaiian man’s attempt to openly carry a handgun was shot down twice in 2011. A lower court argued the Constitution only carries to open carry inside your home.”
Generally speaking, the networks downplay Second Amendment victories. The day after the historic June 26, 2008 Supreme Court ruling finding an individual right to the Second Amendment, the networks could only bother with a combined 3 minutes and 33 seconds.
So it may not be surprising to some that ABC, CBS and NBC ignored an appeals court ruling on guns. However, the same networks covered Donald Trump’s travel ban every step of the way, including through the appeals courts.
Instead of discussing a big case that could potentially go to the Supreme Court, the networks devoted air time to frivolous topics. GMA allotted 3 minutes and 35 seconds to “how to beat the heat with cool clothes.” Today spent 4 minutes and 39 seconds to “interviewing” a pregnant giraffe, lauding the “internet star.”
CBS This Morning focused on Ivanka Trump’s fashion line shutting down, offering 2 minutes and 28 seconds. So it’s not as though there wasn’t time for an important story like a big win for gun rights.The Washington Times explained the decision this way:

Given that journalists repeatedly make ugly attacks on the Second Amendment, it’s not surprising they would flinch at covering a big win for gun owners.

The Hill reported that Democrats and liberals are shocked as they look from their journalistic howitzers to discover that Trump’s ratings have not sagged and are near all-time highs. In between firing broadsides, they have noticed that their negative stories about Trump are having no effect on the president’s approval ratings. Trump’s 45.0 percent job approval in Tuesday’s RealClearPolitics.com average reflects his third best day since March of 2017.

Why are Trump’s numbers growing so steadily despite being subjected to such heavy fire after the Helsinki Summit?
The answer is the fable of the boy who cried “wolf.” The Democratic barrage, faithfully reported by the media, has been so constant and shrill that voters have become numb to the negative headlines. The lurid “revelations” of Trump’s misconduct have been repeated so often, they’ve lost their effect.
The president often speaks of “false news” being spread by the liberal media. It would be more accurate to call these journalistic eruptions “false analysis.” Each day comes with dire prophecies for Trump. The trade war with China is going to tip the economy into recession. Republicans are going to bolt over Trump’s “appeasement” of Russia. The Manafort trial will unearth damning evidence against Trump. Impeachment is just around the corner. The North Korea deal will fall apart. Iran will not be hurt by U.S. sanctions. Our Western allies are being permanently alienated. The tax cuts will cause the deficit to skyrocket.
As these predictions fall short, one after the other, people begin to discount the hysterical headlines in the mainstream media and stop believing the words of formerly credible journals like the New York Times and The Washington Post.
Instead, voters believe their own eyes as they see the Trump economy surge and realize the extent to which Democratic predictions of disaster fall short.
The media’s credibility gap has become so great, its negative stories are discounted.
The media is in some ways going through the same loss of credibility that gripped the American presidency during the days of Lyndon Johnson, when people began to realize the White House was lying to them. This denouement undermined faith in our democracy all during the 60s and 70s until Reagan restored some degree of trust.
Now it is the media’s turn to be left in the cold by voters who have come to distrust its every utterance. The resultant rise in alternative media — social media, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter — is a direct result of this turn away from establishment media organs.
And Trump keeps on rising.
